DSP Meeting at the LMU BBQ!

DSP Annual Alumni Meeting to take place during the LMU Almnui BBQ on Sept. 24, 2023

GREETINGS, BROTHERS: WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT: The ANNUAL DELTA SIGMA PHI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEETING will be taking place during this year's Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Alumni BBQ on Sunday, September 24, 2023. MEETING TIME: 11:30 AM PLACE: "THE LIVING ROOM" meeting room on campus at LMU. This is on the first floor of the Malone Student Center, next to the Lion's Den Coffee Shop. There will be a quick update by the Delta Mu Alumni Control Board, along with a report from the current Delta Mu Chapter President, Christian Morcus. Plus, it would be great to visit with fellow Alumni before hitting the LMU BBQ! And, if you didn't already know, we will have our own Delta Sigma Phi table/space at the Alumni BBQ. If you haven't already done so, you can register for the Alumni BBQ AT THIS LINK.

i think some of the more interesting ztd fragments are jnes where someone is missing. suspicion - junpei of all people is missing in the pantry. surely nothing went that bad, right? mind the totally fake arms and legs. there's nothing wrong with that. nothing would happen between carlos and akane! look, they're fine having a conversation right now, right? now what's behind that pantry door? and this is where it falls apart - trust falls apart, gives way to emotion. junpei is a part of the puzzle itself

pop off with the pod room - everything is fine, for now, right? never mind that mira isn't here. don't open the pods. surely her method of death wouldn't have anything to do with anything eric knows either. surely not. in one timeline, all of q-team dies there.

transporter with the transporter room and locker room - unlike the others where it's the revelation of a dead body, phi's got barely any body left to begin with. she's reduced to nothing more than a pile of ash - and unlike the others, you get to see it. there's a timeline where she doesn't, timelines where all of d-team survives or just she does, but now all that's left is her broach. a gift from diana. she haunts the rooms in her absence as junpei and mira do, but in a different way - some of these areas even related to her own creation. her own birth. the transporter room pods which are alien and foreign, with pods like cocoons, and the grubby locker room that she and delta are born in.

i couldn't take the fallout shelter babies ending in ztd seriously at all even knowing in advance it was coming. fellas is it fucked up to lock your mom and dad in an underground shelter together until they conceive you (in a teleportation pod) (also you and your sister have canonically seen this entire damn thing) (so that's fun)

i know it's supposed to be So Tragic And Moving but like. it's so funny. i couldn't take it seriously at all. though i liked diana's characterization a lot, glad she had a few moments to be something other than Dead Wifemom (she's like the only ztd new character that feels even close to being an actual person…)

and time loop brooch + phi being named after herself is really just a fun bonus. chef's kiss
