Let’s talk about Congo.
TW:: Mentions of R*pe, m*rder, etc!!
Basically, if you don’t know: The people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Or the DRC) has been suffering due to big tech companies like Apple, Alphabet Inc., Google, Dell, Microsoft and Tesla. They have been exploiting Congo’s land for their minerals like Diamonds, Gold, Copper, Cobalt, Tin, Tantalum and Lithium. These companies use these minerals to make phones, cars, computers and other technology.

The people of Congo are being treated like dirt, like they worth less than the colonizers stealing from them. The colonizers, which they call ‘Rebels’ have been r*ping, killing brutally, enslaving, and starving them. They are being kicked out of their land because these big tech companies want it. They’re being killed and r*ped because these big tech companies think they have the right.

The Witch From Mercury: Tying Up Loose Ends
A look at the state of different characters, organizations and plot points after the epilogue of The Witch From Mercury.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a3f0c8f39a3a9f38bf7ab64baeab4dcb/60f1f629e89be73c-3b/s540x810/92cc577f784c6208e7e28c8d11431d9482d10811.jpg)
Earth vs. Space, and Earthian Inequality
The crux of this conflict was the growing inequality between Earthians and Spacians, and that Spacians were exploiting Earthian labour and resources for their gain, while also pitting them in proxy wars. When Miorine dissolved the Benerit Group, all their assets were placed into Earthian hands, including all the resources the plundered from Earth and presumably a number of weapons. With this, the main driving force of the conflict is resolved, although tensions very likely still linger, especially among those who lost family and friends to the Benerit Group.
While it may not be a perfect long-term solution, it has definitely helped in the short-term. Gund-Arm Inc. has survived the transfer and we see Miorine working with Earthian protesters to solve lingering issues. And we even see that Sedo is now getting an education. Clearly, Miorine’s actions havehad a positive affect on Earthian lives. Suletta & Miorine changed the status quo in a far greater way for the better than many Gundam main characters manage to do in their own worlds.
The Benerit Group
The Benerit Group was dissolved, and all of the political and military might it wielded as an entity was destroyed. Obviously many members of the group found ways to continue working, and many will have had some assets stashed away not attached to the group, but they would lack the combined strength that the group wielding before.
We see that Delling and Sarius are under investigation in the epilogue, so even if they're still free as of the epilogue, they may not be so for very long. And for Delling, who formed the Benerit Group as a means to enforce a tyrannical "peace" upon the world, his life's work was destroyed by his daughter, and all the power that came with it.
We do see the Peil Ladies, who seem to have slinked away to some sort of retirement home in the aftermath of events. While some see this as a good ending for them, keep in mind they had just double crossed the BG in a play to be the next major power in the business world after the SAL wiped them out. Instead, they were left with nothing. No power, no super company. You can see how miserable they look in the epilogue.
The children of the Benerit Group all seem to have found a future, one way or another. Gund-Arm Incorporated is still around, with all it's Earthian and Spacian employees. Elan, Secelia and Guel are still kicking and running their own businesses, though it's unclear if they found positions with the new owners of their old companies or started over.
GUND Technology
The Prologue started with showing GUND as a means for humanity to travel into space, as well as conquering various other physical disabilities. The work of the Vanadis Institute is now continued by GUND-Arm Incorporated, which we see in the epilogue is producing medical technology to aid those with disabilities, like Petra and Ericht.
Shaddiq
I have talked about this a lot in the past, but Shaddiq doesn't have a bad ending. His goal was to dissolve the Benerit Group and transfer their assests to Earth to balance the powers, and Miorine successfully achieved his goal for him. Sabina and company came away from everything with their freedom and now work to better Earth. And as a cherry on top, since Shaddiq was already under arrest for Plant Quetta and Asticassia, he also took the fall for Quiet Zero as well, to protect Miorine’s new family.
Mercury & The School
We don't actually see Mercury in the series itself (except in a flashback of the Lfrith hanger), but we don't really need to. The planet itself doesn't have any relevance to events, and Cradle Planet (which does take place on Mercury) makes it pretty clear there isn't anything of interest out there anyway. And while Suletta is from there and wants to build a school there, she never once expressed a desire to return. We can pretty safely say that Suletta built her school there, based on the line "You're going to build another school here?"
Lingering Questions
The Space Assembly League
Quiet Zero not only shook up things in space due to the dissolution of the Benerit Group, but also the revelation that the SAL was directly supporting Earthian resistance groups and helping them carry out attacks against their own citizens, not to mention very publicly trying to wipe out millions of it's own citizens with a giant space laser. Presumably this caused a massive shake-up within the SAL, and between that and the Benerit Group dissolution, the entire political structure of space very likely changed significantly, but the epilogue doesn't really give much of a hint about what that looks like.
The Lfrith AI
A plot thread in the Prologue that completely disappeared afterwards. While I'm not personally convinced it was ever meant to be a plot point beyond the Prologue, I was convinced it was worth bringing up. It was meant to overcome the Gundam Curse and allow people to pilot Gundams without negative permet damage. However, by all accounts, it never succeeded. The show very heavily implies that Ericht's unique ability to coexist with the Data Storm is what allows her to connect to the AI and pilot a Gundam without harm, and it's never brought up again. Not to mention the Darilbalde used a new advanced AI that could pilot a mobile suit with pilot input at all, but not even that was seen as a solution to the Curse for the Schwarzette.
Elnora and the Covern
We know Suletta was the key. It was necessary for someone to pilot Aerial because Ericht couldn't. Whether it was Ericht's permet resistance that Elnore needed, or maybe just a close bond family bond to push permet scores, the solution she found was to clone her own daughter. Through context we might assume this isn't exactly unheard of in Ad Stella, given the lack of surprise about her origins from Suletta’s friends. But what about the Coven? We see that by the time Ericht "dies" and she is uploaded to the Aerial, Suletta was already born. Were they made before or after Suletta. Before implies they were clones that tragically could not survive and Elnora desperately uploaded them to the Lfrith to save them, unable to bear more loss. Afterwards implies that they were necessary for control of the Gundbits. Where they more repli-children uploaded, or did Ericht simply copy her data into clones to handle the bits more easily? There are so many questions about what Elnora did to make the coven.
Notrette
The woman of mystery. We never even see her face. Depending on who you ask, the mystery is a good thing and any more information would ruin it. We know she's from Earth, that she wanted to apply the evolutionary mechanics of plants to humans, and that Quiet Zero was the key to her plans. And that, for whatever reason, she left a backdoor into it for her daughter based on the genetic code of her tomatoes. Why did she marry Delling? What was her original goal with Quiet Zero and what did she intend with it? How exactly did she die? Did she have a love affair with Prospera that saw her help Elnora create a clone of her daughter?
The Future of Gundams
Perhaps the ultimate sequel hook: we do not know what the future holds for Gundams after Quiet Zero. The Ur is presumably still around, and even if it remains a forbidden technology, we've seen that there are those willing to sacrifice lives to use that power. On the other hand, is the original goal of GUND-Arm Inc. a possibly? Can GUND Format equipped Mobile Suits be operated safely and for the good of humanity, instead of as a tool for war?
Asticassia
With help from Guel, Elan and Secelia, Asticassia survives 3 years later. But what is it's purpose? Is it still a training ground for the spacian elite to train the next generation of oppressors, or has it found new life as a technical school that takes in students from anywhere, without prejudice.
The Three Kids
In the epilogue, we see Suletta playing with three children in the wheat field. Are these children that Suletta & Miorine adopted? Or simply some local kids who Suletta likes to play with? Due to the fact that they seemingly disappear for the rest of the scene, I'm inclined to believe the latter.

G Witch Onscreen Text: Episode 14
Part 15! Of the G Witch! Onscreen Text Analysis! Where I transcribe and discuss! Onscreen Text! And also just generally analyze the episodes! When I have time!
We are on Episode 14! "What They Wish For!"
Click Here! To go back! To Episode 13! Or! Go to the Masterpost!
Or! If you'd like! Join me! Beneath the Cut! (This one is really long! Wow!)
Before we start, something I forgot to discuss at the end of last episode, but there's this moment when Prospera asks Miorine if she'll be friends with Suletta again after the investigation, and Miorine says that of course she will.
Afterwards, Prospera pauses and smiles before proceeding to discuss Quiet Zero with her. I like to think she was genuinely relieved for a second, knowing how much she means to Suletta. (And also it maybe makes her easier to manipulate too. It can be both. Tomatoes tomatoes.)
We learn here that Prospera had been in talks with Delling about Quiet Zero since before she sent Suletta to Asticassia. Something that always gets to me about the timeline of events regarding Quiet Zero is Delling's behavior in Episode 2 during the trial.
Clearly he was devoted to developing Quiet Zero, so what was his goal with the trial? Prospera seemed to act as if she genuinely needed to convince Delling to accept Aerial by blackmailing Vim, and Delling seemed to be genuine when he spoke of disposing Aerial and "Getting Rid Of" Suletta
Prospera even makes a face like she wasn't expecting this. Was Delling trying to find a way to proceed on QZ without making use of a Gundam, and Prospera purposefully went behind his back to proceed with the plan in her own way? Delling does say, "Right now, Quiet Zero is still MY project," to her, as if he thinks she's getting ahead of herself.
Or maybe he just didn't want Aerial to be at the school, and wanted it to increase its Permet Score in some backwater sectors in space, and was just going to pretend to get rid of it and ship Suletta and Aerial to some distant war front. Who knows!
Utterly meaningless little detail, but I'm learning Japanese and I wanted to point it out. The title of this episode is "What They Wish For," and in the original JP name, the word they use for "They" is "彼女たち" (kanojotachi), which is the "they" you use when referring to a group made up only of girls. If it's a group of men or men and women, you use "彼ら" (karera).
So the title here is most likely referring to Sophie and Suletta in regards to their duel. It's probably obvious but it's a neat little thing that doesn't translate 1 to 1.
At the GUND-ARM Inc booth, they've set up a little info tablet for the prosthetic legs. How cute! Wish it was legible.
OHHHHH FUUUUUUCKKK!!!!!! Rubbing hands down my face FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKK!!!!! Okay lets go.

ASTICASSIA SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY Welcome to ASTICASSIA, a front for learning that cultivates the pilots, engineers, and managers on whom the future of the Benerit Group relies.
As a higher education facility operated by the Benerit Group, we train the personnel who will form the core of the space development business.
The Asticassia School of Technology is a higher education facility operated by the Benerit Group. It implements a boarding school system that teaches the basics of communal living, a highly advanced professional curriculum, and a comprehensive instructional program in which we have invested all the technological confidence and accomplishments that the Group has built up in the mobile suit industry. Here we train the personnel who will support the space development business in the future. *To enroll, recommendations from Benerit Group [investment?] companies are required.
Chairman of the school board: Delling Rembran.
(BOTTOM LEFT) (NIKAS STUPID ASS HAND IS IN THE WAY THIS IS MY BEST APPROXIMATION)
[Enrichment?] [School Grounds?]
In the educational front constructed at Front Sector 73, there are schoolhouse areas where students can study in state-of-the-art facilities, residential areas where a House system fosters cooperation as they eat and sleep alongside their comrades, and tactical testing sectors where they can perform combat exercises with mobile suits. Interfront Monorail systems are also installed for travel between areas, enabling smooth movement. The schoolhouse areas include facilities such as cafeterias where students can relax during breaks between classes, and training rooms to promote the maintenance of mental and physical fitness.
Curriculum Fostering Independence
[??] an educational policy of respecting our students' independence, the curriculum has adapted a system of free choice. In addition to compulsory subjects that are common to all three special courses, students can build their own curriculum, selecting from classes corresponding to the department in which they belong, making choices specific to the improvement of their personal skills.
Equipment Complete facilities and mobile suits
The Burion company's Demi Trainer is used for mobile suit training exercises at the school. There are also many mobile craft, and a full compliment of maintenance docks equipped with cutting-edge technology. Thus pilots and mechanics can perform their exercises in the most perfect environment and facilities. [Burion company's Demi Trainer]
(Righthand side)
Special Courses Three Special Courses
Three specialized courses have been established at the school. The "Piloting Department" develops high grade pilots, the "Mechanics Department" creates professionals in the maintenance of mobile suits and working equipment, and the "Management Strategy Department" trains experts in corporate management. In each of these three-year special courses, students learn from the ground up under the guidance of outstanding instructors.
1. Piloting
A course to develop "high-grade pilots" with outstanding skills as mobile suit pilots, able to participate in development projects and conduct instructional training for ordinary pilots. In addition to control techniques, their skills as pilots are cultivated from many different perspectives, including physical training and immersive courses to understand the construction of mobile suits and mobile craft. *Enrollment in this special course is limited to those with mobile suit operating experience.
2. Mechanics
A course to create professional mechanics and engineers who can handle the maintenance, repair, design, and development of mobile suits and mobile craft. Its aim is to train personnel skilled in fast and reliable maintenance, who can perform customization and tuning for different pilots and environments, as well as designing and developing new mobile suits and mobile craft. In addition to basic technology, this department also places great emphases on creativity
3. Management Strategy
A course that teaches the knowhow of corporate management. The curriculum has been designed to instill abilities that are indispensable for managers, such as information analysis skills, the foresight to anticipate the trends of the times, fast and accurate judgement, and management skills for motivating subordinates.
(The Curriculum section is incredibly blurry, as the blur effect on the screen in this shot seemingly increases from left to right for some reason. This section is already incredibly long, so for the sake of legibility (and my sanity) I'll omit them from this transcription for now. Apologies, I'll try and make a separate post giving my best guesses as to what they say later.)
HOKAY. During Nika's flashback where she talks about how the DOF allowed her to go to Asticassia, we see her reading an actual Asticassia info pamphlet. A lot of this is just reiterating info we already know, but we actually Do learn some new info that clarifies some things about how Asticassia works
We learn that in order to enroll in the school broadly, it's REQUIRED to have a recommendation from a Benerit Group verified company. It's not like a normal school where it simply increases your chances of getting admitted, it's a baseline requirement. That's why Nika, Sophie, and Norea needed fake companies only registered in the group by name.
Somewhat more importantly, we also get an explanation as to why there seem to be so few piloting students at Asticassia as opposed to the other 2 courses. It's because a student needs to have Mobile Suit operating experience as a PRE-REQUISITE to enroll for the course. Asticassia's Piloting program isn't a course where one can learn to be a pilot, it's a course that reinforces and improves the skills a pilot must already have. (A lot of other things make sense too, like, the fact that students are responsible for the support and repair of their own mobile suits, or that the school doesn't provide any mobile suits other than Demi Trainers for class.)
It's not new information, but now that I think about it the fact that Burion is the company that supplies Asticassia with its Demi Trainers is probably why Secelia and Rouji are allowed to be members of the Dueling Committee, despite their company not being in the upper echelon of the Group, nor either of them being piloting students themselves.
Nothing about the Dueling or Holder systems are explained in this pamphlet, at least, nothing on this page. Suletta didn't know anything about it before arriving to the school, so if I had to make a guess, I figure it's only something you learn once you get to the school. (Or maybe it's just...explained on another page.)
All the lovely things stated about the school's grounds and house system are really funny when you remember that Earth house looks like this.
I like this scene where Norea hands 5lan his phone back. She doesn't even hide the fact that she stole it, and then she reveals to him that he knows about him and his relationship to Peil (Probably because she read his email correspondence with them.) 5lan calmly takes it back, not to plussed about it, and probably not interested in even telling Peil the phone was stolen at all. They both say that the other is annoying. True love!
There's this bit where Suletta tells Sophie about her promise to Miorine, and she responds by calmly and emotionlessly repeating out loud everything she knows about her before cutting back to her usual outgoing personality. This is the only time we ever really see her do something like this. I wonder if this is something she does often when she's deep in thought about something.
In this scene, Suletta is also still unaware about the reality of the situation. She says she can't let Sophie win their duel because in her mind, if she does, she'll lose her status as Holder. When Sophie runs away, Suletta reaches out, telling her that they need to do the dueling vow. She doesn't understand what's really happening.
TEXT: RUMBLE RING The Rumble Ring, the main event of the Open Campus, is about to begin! All participating students, please report to the 9th Tactical Testing Sector. All viewers[...]
The Rumble Ring event screen. We never see the full thing so we don't know where the viewers are told to go. [Punches the wall in anger] FUCK!!!! WHY CANT WE KNOW!!!!!
Lauda says that the rumble ring will be the last thing he does before he becomes CEO of JHM. It's sad that he has to bear that burden on his own, but we later see that Petra was working as his assistant while he was CEO. It's sweet that she seemingly unenrolled too, just to follow him.
Couple of fun things about this scene, so, firstly, underneath the photos of Sabina and Renee, in the window, we can see Renee and Sabina's fans holding up signs and hearts and cheering them on.
The other is that, in this battle, Sabina and Renee are using different mobile suits. In the Earth House duel, the Grassley Girls were all using Beguir-Pentes, while in the Rumble Ring, Sabina and Renee using Heindrees. We can actually see that the UI on their photos has been updated to reflect this.
Now, this is clearly not, like, a standard thing, right? Like, we only ever see these specific Pre-Duel spreads for the Grassley Girls. Shaddiq himself doesn't even have one, so it's not like it's a Grassley thing. So that probably, definitely means that these are fanmade spreads, and there's either one, or a group of extremely dedicated Grassley Girl Fans who make them.
Oh, and because I didn't notice last time, all the Grassley Girls have a shape flourish around on their Duel Info. Sabina, Renee, and Henao all have a star, but Maisie and Ireesha have a heart.
A funny thing about the Rumble Ring (That you will only notice if you do some stupid thing like rewatching this show double digit number of times like I have.) Is that, when the 9th Tactical Testing Sector fades out into its simulated environment, it shows a dark, overcast sky. But during the actual Rumble Ring, the sky is clearly, um. Not that. This isn't a case of a prior animation having been used without edits either. Up to now, every single simulated environment has been unique, including this one. It seems there might've just been a miscommunication between the environment artists who were in charge of the simulator scene and the background artists responsible for the Rumble Ring scenes. Maybe nobody caught it or had time to fix it before the episode aired. I wonder if they fixed it in the Blu-ray version?
Unlike Guel's Dilanza, Lauda's isn't custom colored. It uses the same color of the base model. I wonder if he requested that.
When Norea targets Chuchu's cockpit, she receives an alert on her monitor saying ALERT YOUR COCKPIT IS BEING TARGETED. That's how she knows Norea had done it and managed to shield herself.
Rouji then states that they must not have the regulation program installed, so in addition to limiting beam output, the program also ensures an MS is unable to target an opposing MS' cockpit, so as to avoid a lethal attack.
I like that Secelia knows when to drop the snark and keep a steady head when it comes to people's safety.
Maybe I'm just a bit too sentimental, but there's something about this scene, where Chuchu is about to fully give into her wrath and follow the same path Norea went down, only to be brought to her senses by somebody yelling for help that really makes me mourn the time that G Witch didn't have to tell its story. Even just a little bit more time to explore that idea....ah well, it is what it is, and I still love this scene.
This is the screen that pulls up when Norea tries to contact Sophie and cant get a signal because she's out of range. But more interestingly, this is our first look at the Thorn (and presumably Ur)'s main menu (it's faded out behind the Communication mode UI)
It's the same as Aerial's! Not surprising, but pretty cool.
Sophie's death is kind of interesting when you think about it. At this point, Eri has produced a miniature data storm, and thus taken control of the Gundvolvas and the Ur.
But Sophie still pushes through and manages to maintain control of Ur, pushing herself closer and closer to Aerial, even still being able to defeat the now rogue Gundvolvas.
We learn later in Episode 22 that in order to maintain control of a Gundam in Eri's Data Storm, you have to clear Score 5. But Sophie's case is still somewhat different. When Suletta Pilots Calibarn, she's told that it doesn't have a filter for data storm feedback, but as a result can produce a higher score within the same amount of Permet.
That means that, despite Sophie and Suletta each having surpassed Score 5, Suletta in Calibarn is actually not being exposed to as much Permet as Sophie is in this scene. (Sophie and Suletta have a similar Permet Scar Pattern on their faces, but unlike Suletta, the Permet scars are running through Sophie's Eyes.)
And Sophie doesn't have Suletta's natural resistance to data storms either, so on top of that Permet Exposure, the Data Storm is frying her too.
Norea wasn't lying when she said that she died before Suletta could kill her.
This is scene is such a sad conclusion to her duel with Sophie. The whole fight, Sophie is forcing her to confront and ask herself uncomfortable questions.
When Sophie tells her why she kills, Suletta tells her it's wrong, that you can't kill other people just to get what you want, and then she remembers Miorine's horrified face, and remembers that she did the same thing to save her.
When Sophie forces her to ask herself what Aerial was built to do, what she needs all these weapons for, she freezes. She doesn't know the answer.
And when she sees that Sophie has died, Norea tells her to her face that Gundams will eventually kill anyone who continues to pilot them. Something her mother told her wasn't true.
But...when she talks to Aerial, she can only rationalize it by saying that Sophie had to be wrong. That Gundams are supposed to save people. Because that's what her mother told her. And above all else, at the core of Suletta's being, the very foundational idea that she has built her entire life up from is the belief that her mother loves her and would never lie to her.
Eri can only tell Suletta what she thinks will make her feel better. That it's okay, because she saved everybody. And Suletta agrees, because again, move forward gain two. Just like mom says. And just like that, all 3 of the uncomfortable ideas that Suletta had to confront during her duel with Sophie are completely shut down.
But even as she says that, with a smile on her face, she's crying. Deep down, she doesn't want to do this. Deep down, she knows that it's wrong. Deep down, she's in so much pain. But it's fine. It's okay, because even if it hurts, even if it's unbearable, it has to be right. It has to be right, because her mother is always right.
You could say a lot about Miorine's actions in episode 17, and maybe it wasn't the best way, but separating her from her mother was not a mistake.
Thank you for reaching the end of this part! Quite a long one huh??!??!?! I don't blame you if you couldn't finish this one...there was just so much to talk about!!!
For my final gift...
Erm...
youtube
Here's the theme that plays for a majority of Norea and Sophie's attack on Asticassia. This theme also plays a bit during the infiltration of Quiet Zero.
A fun fact about this episode is that it has one of the few Enemy/Non-Aerial Gundam battles that "Pharact" doesn't play at some point for. Click to go to Episode 15! >>

CROLLA IL COSTO DELLE BATTERIE ELETTRICHE E DELLE AUTO
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/cc8f2d9d6c24e1c4f174a845874f9536/e8ec149f90423dd0-e6/s540x810/253c8ce75f3d84134086f5013c0bb80dca50a27b.jpg)

The Witch from Mercury: The Story So Far
So, a lot of developments happened in the first part of Witch from Mercury that will almost certainly affect events in the next part, but it occurred to me that some folks, for various reasons, might not remember everything and be a bit confused. Below I have written a cheat sheet of plot points for anyone who might need or want it; enjoy : )
Note: Contains spoilers for the prologue, the Cradle Planet short story, episodes 1-12, and the season 2 trailer; also very long
*The Holder system of the Asticassia School of Technology gives both status recognition and the hand of Miorine Rembran in marriage to whichever student pilot proves themselves the best by mobile suit dueling. The current Holder is Suletta Mercury, who, after defeating the school’s other top pilots, promised Miorine that she would not lose any duels, which all but guarantees the two will be wed on Miorine’s next birthday. The system was instituted by Miorine’s father, Delling Rembran, the President of the Benerit Group, but it is unpopular with other CEOs of rival corporations in the Group, and there is a possibility they might opt to nullify it in the event of Delling’s death.
*Suletta’s interactions with her mobile suit, Gundam Aerial, has shown that Aerial has some degree of sentience, but this is currently known only to Suletta and her mother, Prospera Mercury, and has not been explored in detail (yet). This sentience is possibly related to the fact that Aerial is currently the only Gundam that does not harm their pilot due to data overload, and instead seems to handle that function herself, but the reason why that is has also not been explored in detail (yet).
*The revelation of Aerial’s status as a Gundam, which had been outlawed by Delling around the time he ordered the attack on the Vanadis Institute, prompted Miorine to form a company called Gund-Arm Inc. to prevent Aerial from being dismantled and Suletta from being expelled. Miorine enlisted Earth House, a group of Earthian students who had befriended Suletta and whose mechanics had repaired Aerial, as her first employees. Due to the influence of Suletta and Earth House, Miorine researched Gund technology, and opted for the company to manufacture prosthetics. Earth House was present for an attack that took place at Plant Quetta and survived thanks to the actions of Nika Nanaura.
*Guel Jeturk, former heir of Jeturk Heavy Machinery and ex-fiance of Miorine, lost his status as Holder after being defeated by Suletta. This disgrace resulted in him being ousted from his house and camping on school grounds, and eventually running away from his family to join a construction company, only to be captured by an Earthian mercenary group called Dawn of Fold as part of their plan to attack Plant Quetta. Guel escaped and attempted to combat Dawn of Fold in a stolen mobile suit, but instead battled and mistakenly killed his own father, Vim Jeturk. Guel’s current whereabouts are unknown, and his half-brother, Lauda Neill, has become the new CEO of Jeturk.
*The boy that most know as Elan Ceres, heir of Peil Technologies, is actually referred to by Peil’s four CEOs as Enhanced Person No. 5, a boy whose memories have been erased and body reshaped to appear identical to the real Elan, who uses body doubles to test pilot Gundam Pharact to avoid the harm or potential death that most Gundams inflict on their pilots due to overloading them with data. No. 5 is the successor of No. 4, who duelled with Suletta and seemed likely to become her friend, until the CEOs of Peil decided he was no longer useful and murdered him; no one is currently aware of No. 4′s death, or that No. 4, No. 5, and Elan are all different people, except for the CEOs of Peil, No. 5, Elan, Belmeria Winston, and possibly Prospera. No. 5 is currently an employee of Gund-Arm Inc., but was not present at the Plant Quetta incident.
*Shaddiq Zenelli, the heir of Grassley Defense Systems, is unlike his father, Sarius Zenelli, who wants to abolish Gundams. Shaddiq instead sees Gundams as potentially useful, and attempted to seize control of Gund-Arm Inc., but was defeated by the combined strength of Suletta and Earth House in a duel. Shaddiq then used his connection with Nika to contact Dawn of Fold directly, and hired them to attack Plant Quetta and assassinate President Delling, with the intent to cause chaos for the Benerit Group. No one knows that Shaddiq is responsible for the Plant Quetta attack, except for his lieutenants in Grassley House, the leadership of Dawn of Fold, and possibly Nika; Vim was also aware, but his death rendered that irrelevant.
*During its attack on Plant Quetta, Dawn of Fold revealed that it had two Gundam pilots of its own, Norea Du Noc and Sophie Pulone. Sophie briefly fought Suletta, but she and the rest of Dawn of Fold retreated when Suletta displayed the increased firepower of the Rebuild version of Aerial. It seems likely Norea, and possibly Sophie as well, will infiltrate Asticassia and threaten Nika with a knife.
*Prospera has affirmed her identity as Elnora Samaya, a former Vanadis pilot, wife of Nadim Samaya, and mother of Ericht Samaya. Her former colleague, Belmeria, suspects that Prospera desires revenge against the Benerit Group, and Prospera has outright confirmed that to Aerial, but the exact nature of that revenge is currently unclear. Despite the fact that Delling ordered the attack on the Vanadis Institute that killed most of Prospera’s colleagues and family, Prospera is currently working with him on a secret project called Quiet Zero, which for reasons unknown, requires combat data from Aerial.
*As CEO of Gund-Arm, Miorine purchased a space ship that can carry all of Gund-Arm’s employees, and has offered friendship to Feng Jun of the Space Assembly League, a group that previously offered to smuggle Miorine to Earth, but about which little else is currently known. After a misunderstanding with her groom, Miorine affirmed that she no longer wishes to run away and instead wants to marry Suletta, but the two were then separated during the Plant Quetta incident. Miorine encountered her father, Delling, who mentioned Miorine’s mother, Nortette, and hinted that there was more to her death than Miorine had known, but was then critically wounded trying to protect Miorine. After Dawn of Fold’s retreat, Miorine and Delling encountered one of the mercenaries, who was killed by Suletta with brutal force, which horrified Miorine. Two weeks after this, Delling remains in critical condition at a Benerit hospital with Miorine by his side.
*Suletta’s previous doubt and anxiety about her relationship with her bride, Miorine, was resolved just before the attack on Plant Quetta. When the two were separated, Suletta sought out Aerial to fight back, and encountered several mercenaries, who were then killed by her mother. Prospera demonstrated an unusual level of influence over her daughter, and persuaded Suletta that killing was okay to protect the people you love. Suletta then drove off Dawn of Fold, and saved the lives of both Miorine and Delling, but acted very out of character in the process. Two weeks later, she is waiting for Miorine to return and will likely be dealing with the dueling challenges issued while Aerial was being repaired. The issue of Suletta being Prospera’s daughter and looking like a grown up version of Ericht, but only being 17 years old while the attack on Vanadis seems to have taken place 21 years ago has not been addressed (yet).
And that’s a summary of The Witch from Mercury, as of April 8th, 2023; what tomorrow holds, we shall see : )

In the fiscal year 2023, U.S. exports to India totaled $50.24 billion, while Indian exports to the U.S. stood at $78.54 billion. This growing trade partnership is fueled by India's demand for high-quality American products and innovative solutions across various industries, underscoring the value of this relationship to both parties.
The Strong Trade Relationship Between India and the U.S.
India is the eighth-largest export partner of the U.S., and the trade volume between the two countries has been increasing steadily. The U.S.-India bilateral trade reached a record high of $128.78 billion in FY23, highlighting the strong economic ties between these two global powerhouses. While Indian exports to the U.S. have seen a surge, America remains a vital supplier of essential goods to India, contributing significantly to its industrial and economic growth.
Major U.S. Exports to India
Several key categories define America's biggest exports to India. These include:
1. Mineral Fuels, Oils, and Distillation Products
The United States plays a crucial role in meeting India's growing energy demands by exporting crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and refined petroleum products. These exports are vital for India's industrial, transportation, and power generation sectors, bridging the gap between local production and consumption.

Gold, diamonds, and other precious metals form a significant portion of American exports to India. These materials fuel India's booming jewelry industry, which processes and exports them globally.
3. Machinery, Nuclear Reactors, and Boilers
The U.S. exports heavy industrial equipment, including turbines, boilers, and nuclear reactors, to support India's large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. These advanced technologies are essential for India's industrial expansion.
4. Aircraft and Spacecraft
India's aviation industry relies heavily on American exports of commercial aircraft, aerospace components, and defense-related technologies. This trade also supports India's space exploration and military modernization efforts.
5. Electrical and Electronic Equipment
With India's rapid digital transformation, American exports of semiconductors, IT hardware, and other electronic components play a critical role in driving the country's tech-driven businesses.
6. Medical and Optical Equipment
The U.S. supplies India with advanced medical devices, diagnostic tools, and research instruments, contributing to the modernization of India's healthcare system and scientific research capabilities.
7. Plastics and Organic Chemicals
Plastics and specialty chemicals exported by the U.S. serve India's packaging, automotive, construction, pharmaceutical, and agricultural sectors, enhancing domestic production across multiple industries.
8. Edible Fruits and Nuts
India imports high-quality almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and other nuts from the U.S., fulfilling the demand for nutritious snacks and festive food traditions.
9. Iron and Steel
American iron and steel exports support India's infrastructure development and automotive manufacturing, further fueling the nation's ambitious economic growth initiatives.
Leading U.S. Export Companies to India
Several American multinational corporations dominate the export market to India, including:
Energy Sector: ExxonMobil and Chevron
Aerospace Industry: Boeing and Lockheed Martin
Technology and Electronics: Apple Inc. and Dell Technologies
Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals: Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson
Agriculture and Food Products: Cargill and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM)
These companies significantly contribute to U.S.-India trade, ensuring a continuous supply of high-quality products across multiple sectors.
