I really love how separately Lila, Kell and Holland are literally the most powerful people between all worlds and also smart and resourceful and skilled but. You leave them together in a room for TEN MINUTES and disaster follows

Perhaps I said it already but one of my favorite Lila quotes is "whatever I am, let it be enough". She said this before using antari magic for the first time by herself because her whole world changed when she discovered magic. She was electrified by the fact that she could do magic but she could feel it in her bones that she could do so much more. Lila's world rocked, she tried to manage this newness in her life the way she always did, with curiosity and determination, to the point of overexerting herself and almost challenging magic itself. So when Lila attempts to cross worlds, she isn't sure she is an antari but she tries anyway, hoping it's enough to let her cross worlds to save Kell. To me that line also means believing in yourself even though you aren't sure you're going to accomplish what you want. See, Lila often appears so confident but she is insecure. Magic made her bolder because it's an additional tool for her survival but it completely shook her existence. What is Lila? A thief, a pirate, a magician. But until she successfully crosses the world from Red to White, that's when she is more aware of what she is, of that something was taken away from her when she lost her eye. Had she never met Kell, she would've never known that part of herself

Welcome to Gardenview, an educational center and museum, which has been shut down in 2002 due to negligence.

The founders of Gardenview are Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen. Arthur was the creator of the cartoon Dandy's World, its characters, ect. Delilah brought said characters to life through unknown- and quite frankly questionable- means.

Abigale Blackwing/Northwest - The Lost History of a Troubled Inventress

After a curious underground bunker is discovered in the state of [REDACTED], New historical records are published connected to the Northwest family. The bunker and its contents were dated to have originated from some time in the early 1900s. Atop the entrance, an odd, one-eyed triangular skull with crossbones looms over all who enter, the words "Anti-Cipher Society" engraved in the stone below it. There are rumors that a skeleton (albeit one with two eyes and a decidedly non-triangular skull) was found within, clutching a few of the many documents discovered, but authorities refuse to confirm them...

Contained within this document is a transcript of some of the contents regarding a particularly curious individual mentioned heavily throughout the many letters, journals, and other material uncovered; Abigale Blackwing, later known as Abigale Northwest.

Sometimes when she was creating them, Toons inherited mental / personality traits from Delilah - some were developed on their own, some were passed on via Delilah.

Glisten is one of these Toons - his inherent obsession for perfection is smth Delilah has when bringing any Toon to life. So in a small way they somewhat bond over that, and she occasionally gives some advice that helps her if he ever talked about it with her (I think with Arthur and Delilah Glisten would feel a little more comfortable sharing stuff than with most other Toons. They're basically like all the Toons' parents, after all).

I like the idea of if Glisten ever cracks the glass on his face, he mainly runs to Delilah to have it fixed bc of this as well. She may not be. Entirely emotionally available to the Toons. But she will easily fix them up when needed - she has a small soft spot for Glisten bc of that shared insecurity and seeing his constant fretting over *anything* not being good enough, whether that's his ability or a performance or anything, as well as him going out of his way to go to her for help compared to like, a Handler or smth.

so there been this strange glowing light emanating from my book shelf at night which is pretty annoying since I like so sleep in complete darkness.

I finally decided to find out what it was and turns out it was my signature yellow lab webkinz’s custom rainbow loom collar that must’ve been made with glow in the dark bands

I sincerely hope they manage to find a way to separate Delilah from Laudna by the end of the campaign. Surely something as powerful as a wish spell could at least be able to do it? Laudna deserves to have her life back without being shackled to Delilah and to be able to grow old with Imogen.

Friday, Friday, Friday ...

I call them Delyth and Delilah. I've no idea who painted them ... the only clue in the bottom left hand corner is M.A.A. L892. The painting has been with me since I moved in over a decade ago and rests on Campana (my oldest piano.)

Repairs were done by a friend as there was a large tear in the canvas. The two hounds look as though they had a lot of time and fondness for each other. I imagine Delyth (on the left) being bouncy and vocal ... whereas Delilah seems more thoughtful. I could be entirely wrong. They could be two males, or a male and a female. Delyth could be slow and a few pennies short, whilst Delilah is the brains behind all manner of naughtiness.

I smile each morning as I go into the lounge and see them. The frame vibrates as I play each and every piano key. Important to play every day both for pleasure and to keep the mice from nesting in Campana's frame. I'm all for love, but not to that extent.

Time for breakfast and I'll leave you all with wishes for a Happy Valentines Day ...
