Release soon, in process: CBI's clarification claims Manish Sisodia's lookout notice insulted BJP.
Tumblr media
Sisodia claimed that the CBI issued a lookout notice against him and called the action a "drama" as the agency raided his residence and found "nothing". After Manish Sisodia claimed that the CBI had issued a lookout notice against him in connection with irregularities in the Delhi government's Excise Policy 2021-22, the central probe agency issued a clarification that the notice was against the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and others. Accused news agency ANI quoted CBI sources as saying that it was "soon to be released" and was "in the process".
Earlier today, Sisodia claimed that the CBI had issued a lookout notice against him and explained it as a "drama" as the agency had found "nothing" during the raid at his residence. He said he was "moving freely" in Delhi and asked if he could meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Taking a jibe at Sisodia after the CBI's reaction to the lookout circular in Sisodia's name, BJP's Parvesh Verma alleged that Sisodia was trying to mislead the public. "The lookout circular does not mean that the police are looking for you, but it means that you cannot leave the country," Verma said. He said misleading people is "your habit".
"It means preventing you from fleeing the country like your colleague Vijay Nair, who made policies and raised money while staying in America," he said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked the Centre, saying it was "fighting the entire country" instead of working with state governments to tackle unemployment and inflation. The Central Investigation Department on Friday raided 31 places, including Sisodia's residence, in connection with the disturbances in the Delhi Government's Excise Policy 2021-22.
Sisodia tweeted in Hindi saying, "All your raids failed, nothing found, not a single paisa was misused. Now you have issued a lookout notice saying Manish Sisodia is not Malakta, what is this Modi drama? Ji Mee ? I walk freely. -Delhi, tell me where to come, I can't meet? Sisodia is one of the 13 accused in the FIR registered by the CBI in connection with alleged irregularities in the implementation of the excise policy. The central agency has also named two companies in the FIR.
Kejriwal said the Centre's 'CBI-ED game' starts every morning.
"When common people are fighting against inflation and lakhs of youth are unemployed, then the central government along with all the state governments should fight unemployment and inflation, instead they are fighting the entire country."
"They wake up every morning and start the CBI-ED game. This is how the country will progress," Kejriwal asked in a Hindi tweet. The CBI raids were conducted on Friday after Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena recommended a probe by the agency for alleged violation of rules and regulations in implementing the policy, which came into force on November 17 last month.
The Delhi government withdrew the policy in July after Saxena recommended a probe.

Indian Elections: The Campaign and how much it worked (Part 1)
Since the results are out, let's talk about it (as if we haven't been doing it since the last few hours) properly.
First of all, Uttar Pradesh voters, you people are betrayers. I'm not saying it, BJP & its supporters are. But seriously, Samajvadi Party's campaign for this year was definitely strong. Yogi really thought that it's going to be a piece of cake didn't he. Thank you voters for showing them the ground reality. Ayodhya, Amethi, Raebareli, the trinity of my joy.
Rajasthan. Yes, BJP won here with 14 seats. But lost 10 seats. Congress really shone on its own here, gaining 8 seats when in the last election, it was on the zero mark. Sachin Pilot and that man alone worked on Rajasthan. Honestly they need to put him front and center.
Madhya Pradesh is 100% a well-deserved BJP sweep. Let's not forget that it's not the Modi factor that worked here, it was Shivraj Singh Chauhan. That man worked his ass off during Vidhaan Sabha campaign last year and it really paid off in Lok Sabha. (God, I still remember women crying when he didn't become the Chief Minister).
I guess it was tough for West Bengal voters, no? I'm not much familiar Bengal politics but from what I've heard, they had to choose between two evils. Still, Didi gets 29 out of 42 seats, leaving BJP and Congress on the 6 and 1 mark respectively.
Lmao, they fucked up in Bihar. I can rant for hours about this. The seat distribution was already messed up, but Nitish Babu leaving put the nail in the coffin. BJP and JD(U) won 12 seats each, with RJD and Congress winning 4 and 3 respectively. Left also got 2 or 3 seats. I'm glad Pappu Yadav (on Purniya seat) won nirdaliye. Well deserved.
As for Odisha, I guess people have lost all the hopes in Naveen Patnaik, because BJD remained on zero, BJP getting all of its seats (20). Congress won 1 seat here.
I don't have much to say about Delhi. It's a BJP sweep. I guess AAP didn't get to campaign much since Arvind Kejriwal was literally put in jail? I'm still salty that Kanhaiya Kumar lost.
That's all for now, rest in the next part.

Singhania Group flow for sustainability‼️
As the Delhi assembly elections of 2020 drew near, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a resolute promise to the public: to restore the Yamuna River to a state where it would be safe for swimming by the year 2025. Yet, as the deadline approaches, the grim reality of the river's pollution persists. Recent data from environmental agencies paints a stark picture - pollution levels in the Yamuna River have surged by a troubling 25% over the past year alone. The untreated effluents discharged by industries emerge as a significant contributor to this alarming trend. Furthermore, public awareness and concern regarding environmental issues have surged, with a notable 78% of individuals expressing a preference for supporting environmentally responsible companies.
In the midst of these environmental challenges, the Pollution Control Board (PCB) intervened, delivering a damning public notice against the Singhania Group. The accusation was severe - the group was accused of discharging an alarming 62% of untreated effluent into the already beleaguered Yamuna. This revelation cast a shadow over the reputation of the Singhania Group, a textile manufacturer with a distinguished three-decade legacy. The timing of this accusation couldn't have been more detrimental as the promising future suddenly seems uncertain for the company as share prices take a dramatic plunge in the wake of recent accusations. This unfortunate timing, just as optimism reigned, casts a long shadow over their previously rosy outlook.
The fallout triggered a domino effect, eroding investor trust and confidence. With scepticism about the company's leadership and practices rising, investors are pulling back, sending share prices spiralling downwards. Heightened media attention and public speculation further amplify the negative sentiment, compounding the downward trend.
This situation underscores profound questions about environmental responsibility, corporate ethics, and the integrity of political promises. While the actions of the PCB may appear justifiable in their mission to safeguard the Yamuna, the timing raises legitimate concerns about potential political motivations. Conversely, the Singhania Group finds itself grappling with the consequences of potential negligence in effluent treatment, underscoring the critical importance of responsible industrial practices.
In response to these challenges, the Singhania Group must embark on a concerted outreach campaign aimed at showcasing their ongoing efforts to address environmental concerns. Transparency, coupled with robust community engagement initiatives and tangible sustainability measures, will be key in demonstrating the group's unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. By aligning their corporate interests with the broader goals of societal and environmental well-being, the Singhania Group can chart a course towards a more sustainable and socially responsible future, thereby regaining the trust and confidence of the public.
TASK AT HAND
As the Singhania Group's CSR head,
1) develop a CSR campaign to restore the company's reputation
2) an investment portfolio that prioritises sustainable solutions.
3) Make a website to promote the company's CSR actions and increase transparency.

Kejriwal Expresses Gratitude to Rahul and Kharge for Backing AAP on Delhi Services Bill
The Delhi Services Bill took center stage as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended his heartfelt appreciation to Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi. Their resolute support for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against the GNCTD (Amendment) Bill, 2023, was acknowledged by Kejriwal with gratitude.
In individual letters addressed to Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal conveyed his thanks on behalf of Delhi's populace, numbering two crore. He lauded their party's stance in opposing and voting against the GNCTD (Amendment) Bill, 2023. Kejriwal's letters carried his profound respect for the Congress leaders' commitment to safeguarding the rights of Delhi's citizens both within the Parliament's chambers and beyond.
Kejriwal stated, "I would like to place on record the heartfelt appreciation for championing the rights of the people of Delhi inside as well as outside the Parliament. I am certain that your unflinching loyalty towards the principles of our Constitution will be remembered for decades."
The Delhi Chief Minister's remarks also hinted at his collaboration with the 'I.N.D.I.A' bloc, a coalition of 26 Opposition parties. He expressed eagerness for their continued support in the ongoing battle against elements that undermine the Constitution. Kejriwal's letters were in harmony with similar gestures extended to Nitish Kumar, Uddhav Thackeray, Mamta Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, MK Stalin, Hemant Soren, and KCR.
Notably, the Delhi Services Bill triumphed in the Rajya Sabha, garnering a significant victory for the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Securing 131 votes in favor, the bill surpassed the opposition coalition 'I.N.D.I.A,' which managed 102 votes against it. Following this outcome, Arvind Kejriwal passionately critiqued the Central government for their approach and interference in Delhi's governance.
Kejriwal's affinity for his role as 'Delhi ka beta' resonated as he highlighted the consistent support from the people, reinforcing his commitment to governance aligned with their aspirations. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the impact of collaborative efforts and the voice of the people remain integral to the fabric of India's democracy.

Will immerse our medals into Ganga, sit on hunger strike at India Gate, say protesting wrestlers
India's top wrestlers, including Sakshee Malikkh, Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, said they will immerse their medals into river Ganga on Tuesday and then sit on an indefinite hunger strike at India Gate. Since April 23, the grapplers have been protesting against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh over sexual harassment allegations levelled against him.
Tumblr media
India’s top wrestlers, who were recently detained and removed from their protest site at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, have said they will immerse their medals into river Ganga in Haridwar on Tuesday and then sit on an indefinite hunger strike at India Gate.
Wrestlers including Sakshee Malikkh, Bajrang Punia and Sangeeta Phogat, put out a statement on their respective Twitter handles, saying the grapplers would go to Haridwar and immerse their medals into river Ganga at 6 pm.
“These medals are our lives, our souls. There would be no reason to live after immersing them into the Ganga today. We will stage a hunger strike until death at India Gate after that,” read the statement in Hindi.
Since April 23, the grapplers have been protesting against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by female athletes, including a minor.
Dramatic visuals emerged from the wrestlers’ protest march as hundreds of cops and paramilitary personnel blocked their advance towards Parliament House on May 28. As the protesters tried to breach the security cordon, a fierce tussle broke out — the wrestlers and cops pushed, shoved and grappled with one another.
In the joint statement, the wrestlers said the Prime Minister “who calls us our daughters”, did not even once show his concern for the grapplers. “Rather, he invited the ‘oppressor’ (Brij Bhushan Singh) to the inauguration of the new Parliament building. He even posed for photographs in bright white clothes. We have been stained by this brightness,” it said.
The statement said, “Where is the place for the daughters of India? Have we been reduced to people indulging in mere sloganeering or do we have an agenda to come to power?”
“We are going to immerse these medals into river Ganga… The more sacred we consider the Ganga, the more sacredly we had achieved these medals by toiling hard. These medals are sacred for the whole country and the right place should be in the Ganga itself,” it said.
The protest, which started on April 23, at Jantar Mantar saw heartbreaking visuals on the day of the new Parliament building’s inauguration when Delhi Police cracked down on them in the midst of their march. An FIR was lodged against the wrestlers for taking out the march to the new Parliament building, mentioning that their protest would hamper “national prestige”.
The wrestlers, who resumed their sit-in last month after the first round of protests in January, have been demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan Singh, also a BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh’s Kaisarganj.
Opposition leaders, including Congress’s Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have condemned the Centre over their inaction against Brij Bhushan Singh.
The WFI chief dismissed the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by some female grapplers.

AAP does not need allies to win 2024 elections, says party Pandey
Dilip Pandey, an MLA from Delhi’s Timarpur constituency has cleared why AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal won’t need allies to conquer the battle 2024 In a recent interview with a leading media house, Dilip the party’s go-to man for Karnataka where Assembly elections will take place next year explained why Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal is in no need of supporters to win the 2024 elections.
When asked why so, Dilip said, “Every party is playing its own tune. The BJP is going ahead with its friends. The Congress is in the hands of one family. The idea of opposition unity is farce. It’s a utopian concept. When was the last time when all or most opposition parties came together? And what happened soon after? We have had terrible experiences. The public does not benefit from such an exercise. Only the BJP will benefit. Because there is no one collective opposition agenda.”
Explaining how BJP would benefit from major parties coming together. Dilip explained, “If all these parties come together, the BJP will go to town, saying, “See, we’re alone in it. All opportunists have come together to defeat the BJP.” The AAP does not want to be part of any such grouping. The Congress cannot keep its own MLAs within its fold, how will they work for opposition unity? See what happened in Goa. See, what has been happening all this while? Arvind Kejriwal Ji has spelt out the AAP’s vision. Our alliance is with the 130-crore people of the country.”
Dilip was about denied when asked the about an alliance with the Congress party to beat BJP or perhaps with Mamata Banerjee’s TMC. “The Congress is not the solution. It cannot be even part of the solution. In no state, they can beat the BJP. The BJP knows only Arvind Kejriwal can do so. And that explains frequent but baseless raids and FIRs against AAP leaders, from Deputy CM Manish Sisodia to MLA Amanatullah Khan. You have seen Mamata Banerjee’s changed approach to the RSS and PM Modi. Kuchh to majbooriyan rain hongi unki. Operation Lotus is reaching everywhere,” he said.
