1. Design an NCT U unit - pick the members, styling, and genre

This took me a minute. I wrote the question’s without knowing my own answers l o l. I want them to try something synthwavey! Something like KEY’s Bad Love or Killer. But because it’s NCT it could be a bit stranger. Ateez’s Take Me Home-esque. But it does need to be weird lol.

Maybe withhhh - Mark, TY, Taeil, Haechan, Ten, Doyoung? I just remember how much Taeil loved EDM so I want him on more dancey tracks even if this isn’t an EDM song lol.

Styling-wise, I really liked some of the Superhuman styling for something like this - like what Taeyong and Yuta wore, or something like what Johnny wore in Ay-Yo. White with pops of reds?

16. Favorite intro/outro/interlude?

Haha, Intro: Neo Got My Back - hence the blog name 🙈 It has such an incredible atmospheric vibe which goes hand-in-hand with The 7th Sense, which I think serves at the root for that album. And it sets the stage for Empathy so beautifully. I love that there’s a callback to it in Black on Black. So well thought-out and so well executed.

21. Favorite behind the scenes content?

Definitely the recording behinds! I love love love them. I am so grateful for them. It’s great seeing just how fully involved the members get with choosing tone/vibe/feel/attitude, working on harmonies, and just trying out new things collaboratively. I also like hearing glimpses of producers like Yoo Youngjin, Kenzie, and Junny - and others I don’t know by name. I admire their work, and they’re always so, so sweet and encouraging to the boys.

For the fanfiction trope game: sharing a bed, miscommunication, accidental confessions

Ohhh, these are some of my faves! Let's see:

sharing a bed: A!!! (If I could I'd give it an S or an A+++, whatever goes.) I might have incorporated it in one form or another in more than one of my fics, and I'd definitely click one open specifically because of this scenario. The potential for that special kind of sweet awkwardness and juicy light angst is HUGE.

miscommunication: A/B, where A is for miscommunication resolving into fluff and silliness and B is for miscommunication developing into angst. I wouldn't think twice before reading the first kind, but I need to be in the right mood for the second.

accidental confessions: A++++++++++!!! SIGN ME UP!!! Give me flustered idiots blurting out their feels and then having to deal with the consequences anytime! Give me offhand remarks that make both speaker and listener do a double take! Give me those classic gay break-ups that sound like love confessions instead! *hugs this trope to the chest*

First of all, thank you so much for always sharing content about Only Friends and loads of BL actors. It sustains me. Second, this might be a silly question but WHAT do the "Q"s mean in the only friends pics you've been sharing? Eg Q11 etc?

Q stands for Queue, which is how they keep track of filming days. So in today's case: Q11 means Queue 11 - Day 11 of filming.

(If they don't say which day it is, and sometimes they do post something from earier days, I leave it as just Q, or Q? to avoid confusion)

happy holidays guys!!! The holiday break here is a LOT longer than a lot of other places because it’s summer rn, so I’ve already been spending the last week kinda just chilling (the air con has been a life-saver, we’re in a heat wave right now) and watching YouTube and various BLs, and on Christmas Day my siblings and I are heading to my grandparents’ house to hang out with our cousins which will be fun! Our cousins live at the top of the country, so we don’t get to see them very often :)

(fun fact: I joined the bl fandom about this time last year! I first watched bad buddy in June, but I didn’t join the fandom spaces until msp, which was an entire year ago and that’s crazy to think about but I’m so glad I’m here, I like you guys ^D^)

ahh im so excited to do this :') i joined tumblr just over a year ago now (14/12/22) and ive had a lot of fun! i havent posted as much art as id like, but in fairness the new school year in september was a lot more intense than the year before + i got a new job in march, so im hoping ill do more next year when i get used to the swing of things!

Hmmm, I’ve had two surgeries on my spine, I have freckles including some on my lips that I just noticed recently, seeing the full moon in the night sky once made me cry, my sense of taste and smell never came back fully after having covid so sweet things especially subtly sweet things are really hard for me to taste (I ate an orange today and all I could taste was that it was vaguely sour), and my Duolingo streak for Korean is 962 days!
