one of my favourite relationships in this game is the one between anton and deivid, especially with the prologue combination of either middle-class/rich anton whose own father was abusive or absent and then going on to work with deivid in the foreign ministry. the idea of deivid stepping up as anton’s mentor and a healthy paternal figure for him is so sweet. plus the fact that whatever path you take, deivid is proud he got to see his student achieve so much. i just adore deivid so much and him being anton’s spiritual dad is soooo,,,, i love them

also, the thought of the coup ending, with deivid noticing the signs and having to watch the exact same thing that happened to his father now happen to the person he views as a son. and once again being utterly powerless to stop it. oh man

And the second crack scenario i made is Anton Rayne who grow up middle class again have both somewhat two father figures. On the name of former teacher and mentor Deivid Wisci and Colonel Tarquin Soll. The logical reason and lore behind this? I dunno it's crack. Basically almost all assembly respect anton. Because on the Old Guard and USP point of view. He's the next successor to glorious Tarquin Soll. While the PFJP and Oligarchs respect him because he was a student of Deivid Wisci and a possibly support of privatization on Sordland. While the NFP and independents eyeing him with muted suspicion. Since this is crack everytime Tarquin Soll and Deivid Wisci intentionally or unintentionally meet in the Assembly. They both attack each other passive aggressively with words. Meanwhile outside the assembly the media and other country leaders ask silently on Anton Rayne, Jeez Anton how come you got two father figures in your life? He's basically the headlines of gossip magazine. Like Chancellor Hegel and Maleynev along gossiping about it like highschool girls. Same with the leader of Lespia and Arcasia.

ok, from crying from your last AU to absolutely CACKLING here lmaooo. i'm not sure how soll would end up as a father figure to anton (not that logic needs to be applied to crack, of course), but i can imagine a universe where whatever mentorship he offers anton during his early years in the USP growns very strong. and lmao, not his two father figures giving each other the side-eye hfjdfhdkhkj.

would make for a pretty interesting run, no doubt about it!

Hello again jules, it's me suzerain and not for broadcast anonymous enjoyer. I got a crack what if scenario. What if middle class anton rayne parents decided to leave him because of the constant fighting and young anton rayne become homeless for two years but he hide that on his best friend Pet'r and his mentor and somewhat father figure Deivid Wisci and when he turn into a legal adult he decided to spill his secret to his best friend and somewhat father figure because of the guilt he felt for telling lies for two years. First Pet'r felt betrayed and hurt on how could he keep a secret on but later understand it. But Wisci, oh the poor man. The moment he tells him. There are sadness and anger in his eyes. And Anton found himself to be hugged by his mentor and begun to tell him he felt sadness for not knowing sooner so he can help Anton and anger for Anton's former family to leave him. And there he spilled like a dam bursting with water. He return the embrace and begun to cry on his mentor's shoulders, asking him why his family decided to leave him? Did his former mother and father ever gaze at him with disappointment because he was another mouth to feed? He's just a teenager who was force to grow up so fast. Did they both ever regretted giving him life on this world? But Wisci just answer him. From this moment he will never be alone on his trials of life. A few months later Deivid Wisci officially adopted Anton rayne as his son. The lore still follows. Anton meet monica, surviving the civil war. Have Franc and Deana as his son and daughter except the two of them got an grandfather and grandmother and have run for president of Sordland. The only thing that become different aside Anton being Wisci son is he retired earlier than excepted timeline. Because if people find out Anton Rayne is a son to Deivid Wisci who is the foreign diplomat for Sordland they can accuse Rayne of nepotism and abuse of power. So basically this is an crack what if scenario where Deivid Wisci adopt Anton Rayne. Yeah i need to stop reading angst, comfort and found family trope on the fanfictions i read. What do you think jules of this scenario?

ANON YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME CRYYYYY what a fun idea, but god, oh so devastating. i mean, deivid's already such a mentor figure for anton, and we know how proud he feels of him and of how far he's come, so i can totally see this alternate universe scenario happening.

and deivid would be suchhhh a great dad (and how sweet, since i'm pretty sure he mentions he never had children in the game), and another sweet coincidence would be that both deivid AND his father have adopted a child, since edith is technically deivid's adoptive sister! (so anton and edith would be like, aunt-nephew? wild lmao). also AOUHGHG DEIVID WITH FRANC AND DEANA CUTEEEEEEE.

it would be sad not having deivid as a member of the cabinet, but still, very very sweet AU, i love it.
