15) what's the wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Okay first of all I don't care to put that sort of energy out into the universe no thank you. I DO have a MONSTER of a kilpen fic that I think will end up being like 50k (hey thats a monster for ME) but like. The outline itself is 10k at this point. So. It's been going a while.

16) what are your writing strengths?

Atmosphere I think? Actually, everybody always says banter. I can bust out a crack fic with 10/10 banter in like two hours flat. So unfortunately I do think it is banter.

17) what are your writing weaknesses?

I want to write the exact same storyline 500 times, and my embarassment about that keeps me from actually doing it. Please know in my heart I have thought up two different fics this WEEK in which the straw hats don't trust Law and he's an angsty mess about it.

18) thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

There's this one method of doing it where someone uses like html or what have you so tthat when you click the other language dialog, it translates into english so the reader can understand. And that's cool as HELL. I'm not really one for writing dialog in another language because I dont KNOW any other languages well enough to trust myself with it. My college degree is in Japanese and yet GOD I definitely dont trust myself to put it in a fic. I could maybe do Norwegian at this point after two years of studying it but like. For why.

1. why did you choose your url?

i wanted a new fandom penname and at the time adjective + noun names were a thing. i fiddled with several different variations, tried and failed to acquire kaleidoscopicmoonrise at the time (it's mine now!!), and landed on this one. i wanted something a little spooky, especially since soul eater was my fandom at the time - though it doesn't feel like it now that my icon is a lot more sane-looking lmfao

2. any sideblogs? if you have them name them and why you have them.

uh. yeah. a stupid amount (like 30+?), so i'm definitely not naming them all. most active are obviously this howl blog, my main blog @commandersya, this one for danny phantom and gravity falls stuff, @howlingspacegoo gets some activity every now and then when venom stuff resurfaces, and some others i use for reblogging specific reference stuff. most of the rest are for fandom events i've run in the past.

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

since like 2011-2012. i've seen it all.

4. do you have a queue tag?

lmao absolutely not. i don't use the queue function, though on occasion i'll schedule posts to space them out when i'm going through a tag in order not to reblog all of it at once, or for specific dates like halloween

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

this one was for soul eater writing purposes. tumblr in general was because my cousin dragged me into it and then i realized there was a lot of bandom stuff in here (i was really into black veil brides for my first year or two on tumblr)

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

i broke ties with the soul eater fandom in a not great way and wanted to change my icon. yoi provided the perfect yuri expression with the kind of benevolent dictator smile i really like, despite that not being the original intent for it when the animators drew it ✊😔

i had to check my header real quick lmfao. jason todd is just an excellent blorbo and when a good artist draws him.... 👀👀👀

yes, i was reading TOG back when it originally came out, and ACOTAR too! I used my main back then and tragically used no tagging system lmao. i also had an ACOTAR aesthetic sideblog for a short period of time but ultimately deleted it. I survived the heir of fire into queen of shadows hiatus (a badge i wear with honor). rest under a read more because i like to talk a lot

the caveat though is that i was 12-13 years old LMAO (remember folks, TOG was originally YA - I was the target audience up until QOS/EOS). so my memory of the fandom is kind of hazy but the discourse and ship ways were a very real thing back then too, i just didn’t spend a ton of time on them because i was like 12 and didn’t care that much. i don’t remember there being as many death threats and anonymous troll blogs, but back then on tumblr you’d just make a call out on your blog and tag the person you wanted to fight with (this was pre-direct messaging on tumblr! and discord).

i shipped rowan and aelin from HOF, yes! it was super clear to me that they were going to be endgame, even though it broke my doraelin heart. i liked chaol and chaolaena fine but dorian. dorian is still one of my favorite SJM characters to this day. i also REALLY liked malide (manon x elide) but once lorcan became a MC i realized there was zero chance of that happening in canon and that we were getting elorcan💔(though don’t get me wrong i like elorcan!)

back then the TOG fandom was killer, there were a ton of active people, artists, and editors making mood boards and things. and lots of infighting of course. it’s really pretty quiet now, all things considered

i read the first ACOTAR right when it came out while waiting for QOS, like most SJM fans did at the time. we were desperate for any clues/hints for TOG (even though there was no indication the series were connected). but ACOTAR didn’t really have a prolific fan base until ACOMAF, and then it exploded with the first wave of feysand girlies for a while at least. most original fans have dropped off since ACOWAR unfortunately. I did too actually. ACOWAR didn’t have a super great reception from what i remember (looking back it was kind of similar to the reception that HOFAS got lmao, but on the nicer end). and by ACOFAS a lot of people were frustrated by the lack of forward momentum in the story. also people wanted KOA at that point and were like “fuck this noise” lmfao.

i didn’t ship feysand until ACOMAF and actually was super mad at first because I liked feylin in ACOTAR (and I still like Tamlin! he’s an interesting character!!) but it grew on me a lot. i actually thought like a bunch of people that the reason rhys was surprised at the end of acotar was because he sensed feyre was pregnant lmao. i casually shipped moriel too like most people at that point. i don’t remember having a strong opinion on nessian, but i did ship elucien!! there also was definitely drama over the 180 from feylin to feysand (no new points have been made since acomaf came out, it’s a dead horse). i don’t remember any ship wars when only the first ACOTAR book was out, but it wasn’t super popular on here initially so idk. there def were people into rhysand but most TOG people were like “….why does he look like maeve??”

take all this as a caveat as my memory of the fandom spaces i was privy too though! my words are not word of god. i was a pretty casual fan all things considered and super young so i wasn’t in the thick of it, i was there for vibes and because no one i knew IRL was reading TOG or ACOTAR so i wanted people to talk to about them

i relistened to all of the acotar books last fall when a good college friend got into them and i was like “oh!! i remember those books!!” and then listened to ACOSF for the first time. and then i read all of CC and was super obsessed, and finally made a sideblog so i didn’t piss off my mutuals on my main! which brings us to present day

p.s. i dug out my old copies that i had from the TOG series from under my bed in my childhood bedroom while home on holiday. 13yo jade is astounded that these are worth so much money now - and she thought they were popular 10 years ago!! i got TOD from the library because i was broke when it came out and didn’t like that it didn’t match the others the same way. and i didn’t buy KOA with the original color when it came out because i didn’t like that it was that weird yellow color :( i’ve also started rereading QoS, I haven’t reread it since it came out (no joke).

merrick is not actually constantly horny but it is comically easy to get him going, about emmrich in particular. emmrich reading. emmrich moving skeletons around with his magic. emmrich wearing fancy mourn watch clothes. emmrich's jewelry. if he sits around while emmrich's being extremely good at something for long enough eventually he's just like hey you wanna take a break with me, naked?? merrick can also frequently get going just by the idea of doing something fun and probably reckless. he really is just out there to have a good time

emmrich can frequently be won over by merrick's enthusiasm but i think he has a particular fondness for a concept encapsulated by this cute art with an android furry "thinking about the eroticism of routine maintenance" lmfao. yes this is about turning up an android furry but the idea!!!!!! humans also have so much routine maintenance!! it can be so erotic!!!! undressing, bathing, shaving, haircuts!! hand-feeding!!!!

merrick also enjoys things that feel indulgent (hand-feeding, playing with emmrich's hair) so i think eventually emmrich starts to identify some overlap in their interests and works out how to use that to make merrick be patient (or at least pretend to be patient while he's internally climbing the walls) lol

Nah, never did a crossover and not really a fan of them. However when I was still really young there was a gigantic, kind of OOC crossover fic with a bunch of popular anime from the 90s/2000s called Otherworld and I used to read that like it was the bible. Not publicly, but I have gotten a comment that someone loves my story so much that they translate every chapter so that they could read it properly and it made me so happy 😭❤💕

Nope! But I do love giving other authors ideas and vice versa. I think it helps people think outside the box when they brainstorm with friends.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I'm going to say Attoye from Black Panther for now? I was never that big of a "shipping" person in fandoms but I definitely enjoy Attoye enough to say I ship them. I also like Nashuri and Killmora.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Nothing atm. I tend to work on stories in order of inspiration and importance. I don't publish things I'm not willing to commit time to at some point.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I've been told that I write very descriptively and that it can paint a vivid picture of scenarios and characters, so I'll go with that.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Fluff and filler. I don't dislike fluff completely but I tend to write it as realistically as possible because trying to imagine people being that super ooey gooey makes me wanna gag and cringe lmfao

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I do it only when necessary for the simple fact that having to provide translations for entire scenes of dialogue gets tiresome very quickly.

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? omg. umm. merthur fans don't know this yet bc i havent finished posting but it's arthur pendragon long may she reign (BUT it's part of a series, so it's literally fine). idk, i dont tend to write long fics that end angsty. but my angstiest fic in general is probably Hollow-Boned Boy (armand contemplating his human life in the early CoD era) or Vision of the Damned (daniel's turning from armand's pov)

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? i love a happy ending!! my series Odysseus in White Silk is probably the happiest ending, and in such an undeserved way hahaha it's so very AU because i was sad after s1 of the show and just wanted them all (and armandaniel) to live happily ever after

8. Do you get hate on fics? i dont think i ever have, but i tend to read comments in good faith too, so maybe someone out there is annoyed that i interpreted their vague dislike comment as a genuine comment or something, idk. in general though, i'll say no

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? yes but i dont post that often, idk if there's a particular kind, but generally it tends to be a little rougher than is probably appropriate without discussion in real-life situations, but also very...idk my friend described it as very tender, like theyre very clearly in love. which is so funny considering that that kind of tenderness irl gives me fucking hives lmfao

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? oh wow, not in a long time. i do have a wip sitting around rn that's a crossover between london spy and cloud atlas, which is really crazy until you remember that ben whishaw is in both london spy and the cloud atlas movie lol. and cloud atlas is already about weird reincarnations and parallel worlds and stuff, so it isnt too out-there.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? hmmm, i would like to finish Roswell -- well, kinda (agent carter farm girl / alien crash landing au) because i still have all the original notes and outlines and stuff. i also made a shitty conlang when i was first writing it, which is crazy lol. but it would need some pretty serious revisions, and i would definitely rewrite the first few chapters that i posted years ago. i just kind of lost the agent carter bug, but i might return to that fic if i ever get in the mood for it again.

What are your writing strengths? ooh, i'm not really sure! i get a lot of comments mentioning characters' voices and/or personalities, so i would say maybe that!!! i also feel that i'm fairly good at mimicking an author's writing style when i want to (notably, i do not mimic anne rice when writing vc fic, lol)

What are your writing weaknesses? editing for sure. i have at least a hundred fics sitting on my hard drive fully or almost-fully written that i just need to edit. but i would simply rather die than do all of that. it's also why my whole merlin fic got put on pause while i went down the vc rabbithole, because i just can't bring myself to go edit the next chapters lol

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? hmm, i think it's usually unnecessary and comes off as a bit silly. that said, i did do it once (maybe excessively) in Daniel Molloy, Time Bandit (1984 daniel ends up in 1794 theatre des vampires, it's more of a character study than a time travel fic) BUT, let me defend myself -- i did it because daniel doesnt understand french, it's his pov, and he's incredibly confused and distraught for most of the fic. i felt like the dialogue being in french conveyed this sort of "daniel does not belong in this time/place" vibes. but, also, my french is...a little rough. so i'm sure it's an annoying fic for french readers lmao

Favourite fic you’ve written? ok, i have three different answers for this. the fic i think is the best, objectively, in terms of writing and content: The Story of Dani [...] (r63 devil's minion from armand's pov, starting with lestat's house). the fic i am the proudest of, mostly because it was my first "big" fic (it's funny now, bc it's only 41k) and i feel like i grew a lot as a writer while working on it, and i'm still happy with it: The Face of God (les mis pov javert, character study from childhood). the fic i have the most fun with and think about almost 24/7: Arthur Pendragon, Long May She Reign (r63 merthur, canon divergence, this is like a 4-part series that's currently over 300k lmao)

I haven't written a single angsty ending lol

Currently, I'd say You and My Hometown just because it's the angstiest complete fic I have and the end goes a few years ahead in their happily ever after.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Yeah sometimes. A couple backhanded compliments, too. Sometimes I wish people would just stop reading it, and if they feel like they have to finish, at least stop commenting if they're not liking it.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I don't consider myself a smut writer, because I tend to think of smut as a separate genre, if that makes sense? I definitely write some smutty scenes, but I don't write pwp or smut for smut's sake (thank you to those of you who do, truly doing the lord's work).

I don't, but there is a Descendants AU in my Schitt's WIP folder lmfao.

Descriptions. I don't visualize when I read, so I never really bother with mundane descriptions when I write. I need to remember some readers do need those details when reading, even if I don't.

7) What's a fic you wrote with the happiest ending?: oooo i know i write a lot of angst but i have a lot of fluff for all of my fandoms too. i think that one of my happiest fics is Just One Week. i feel like that's a generally fluffy fic from top to bottom with the exception of a few moments

8) Do you get hate on fics?: not really! i think it helps that these days i tend to write for smaller fandoms.

9) Do you write smut?: i do! for the longest time i didn't, or i'd try to avoid it like the plague. it's still not my strongest suit or necessarily my preference but i've gotten more comfortable writing it as time has gone on

19) First fandom you wrote in?: back in my quizilla days (RIP to a legend) i was biiiiiig into writing bandfic. however, i'd say that once i hit got towards the end of middle school and really got into writing fanfic, my first fics were Marvel, followed by Kingsman a handful of years later!

It's all started in this laid out set of two rings, one in the middle is where the main tree grows that's my energy as a whole, and then the outer ring is where saplings for my major energies/aspects grow. Yes it's laid out like a clock so I could say numbers alone, but I thought I'd give a visual because I'm a visual person and... it's not technically a clock so

So. Heart Tree grew first. Twisted, ebony wood. I described it in the second half of this post talking about it as the Me Tree (name is still in the works), specifically its bark, but it seems to have a normal tree trunk underneath. I actually think it's hollow, through which... oh yeah amniotic waters - the depths of deep space just below the Zero Point Sky - definitely flowing through. Possibility from which probability arises, sleeping power. I can definitely see eyes all over it, but that's visions.

Madness was the first to grow after the Heart Tree. Lev tried to re-pot it, it... wasn't having it. It wanted a whole floating island for itself which it got, sparking it to grow into a huge paradoxically gnarly-elegant thing that is just.... staking out this space outside the room. In regards to what happened yesterday I'm preettttyyy sure it's defensive and territorial and just. settling into itself at the moment, and so we can keep it there without poisoning people who come close to the new house - and that's a part of it, I need to trust it. Vibes of what Asunder said the other day about how I apparently walk around fiesty and aggressive when I'm asleep lmfao, waking in and out of sleep brings up defensive mechanisms in me and Madness is already tied to literal venom.

Another few have begun to sprout up, but I'll give them their own posts. The point of this one is just... This is how they've started, this is an example of one sapling being taken and then growing into itself within. a day. so I expect the others to do similar things.

104 278 words as of september 5, 2024 (which is a number that always makes me grin when i see it because i didn’t think i’d ever be able to write that much!!!)

4. do you respond to comments? why or why not?

yes, of course! sometimes it takes me a while, though. i figure that when people comment (assuming their comment is positive), they’re complimenting you, and to me it’s rude not thank someone for a compliment (if the compliment is given in good faith). i’m also a chronic yapper and i love to talk about things i was thinking about when i was writing or my theories about the characters etc. i love engaging with people as passionate about the characters as i am!!

5. what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

umm probably Blind Eye? i’m honestly a little confused about what counts as angst as the dictionary definition isn’t really how people use it in the fic world ahaha. in blind eye, i end on mirror tucker hating himself after having been tortured so probably that one i guess

6. what’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

so many choices!! mmm i think the one that’s the most joyous is Sour Cherry Pie—a niche favourite! it seemed like it made a lot of people happy to read, and what else can a writer ask for but that? it ends with a kind of awkward kiss and then trip whooping with joy in the street and calling jon to tell him the good news (he got a date). my modern au exists only to be uplifting so it probably fits the best :)

7. do you write crossovers?

i have in the past. back when i was on ffn i wrote a couple. only published one, though, and then i deleted it cause it used dialogue from an episode of doctor who and i thought i would get sued by the bbc lol (i was 14 i did not know how fair use worked lmfao)

more recently, i wrote a crossover between strange new worlds and enterprise. it had no actual plot so i never published it lol

edit: i published a crossover last august that i completely forgot about. it’s a crossover between st: ent and desmond’s called Just a Trim! it was kinda low-key which is why i forgot it

8. have you ever received hate on a fic?

not really hate? but i did get um-actually’d once (they were wrong lmfao)

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

nope! i don’t really read it either. i promised myself when i started writing that i’d never write gratuitous sex—sarah j maas traumatized me. most i’ll do is a fade to black.

10. have you ever had a fic stolen?

not that i know of? possibly i’ve had them scraped by ai but i have no way of knowing. i have had people use metaphors/similes i used tho! unconsciously i’m sure, but it was still very flattering :) i generally subscribe to mimicry being the highest form of flattery lol

11. have you ever had a fic translated?

not by other people, but i’ve translated my own work into spanish lol

12. have you co-written a fic before?

several times! shoutout to glitter, my great collaborator <3 in fact, my fifth-most kudos’d fic i collab’d on with glitter! it’s really fun to see how other people write and what they do with the same idea. it’s also a great way to learn and improve your own writing! (i do apologize for being super fucking slow tho glitter lol)

13. what’s your all-time favourite ship?

based on word count, i guess it’s tuckerreed? (i apologize to my sapphic brethren. i have betrayed the cause.) i’m a big fan of friends to lovers and tuckerreed is classic that. also i think their characters are interesting to parse out particularly because enterprise canon gives us so little—kind of anything goes!

14. what’s a wip you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

i don’t think i have one! any wips that i have now i’ll probably get around to finishing at some point if i care about them. i also just have some that i know i won’t finish and i don’t mind leaving unfinished.

15. what are your writing strengths?

i think my descriptions, imagery, and figurative language make up my writing’s greatest strength. since i was a kid, i’ve been told that my writing makes the reader feel like they’re there in the story—it’s something that i think marks my style: a sort of visceral, embodied quality. i delight in describing the character’s experience of the world and finding surprising new ways to do so!

16. what are your writing weaknesses?

inner monologues. fucking hate those bitches. i hate writing characters meditating on the situations they find themselves in or analyzing their own emotions. i get around it by writing a lot of memories and the visceral experience of emotion and i tend to prefer writing less contemplative characters to avoid writing emotional meditation at the source. i just generally find introspection really tough to write (even though i do it myself all the time…); i tend to favour a more detached narratorial voice, i guess.

17. what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in fic?

i came from the hetalia fandom, so this was something i used to see a lot and something that i’ll admit to doing. i have a lot of thoughts on this question!

i think it can be useful if employed sparingly to express particular concepts that can’t be translated faithfully in english. it can also add a form place-ness that might not be achievable otherwise. also, maybe the dialogue in another language isn’t meant to be understood, and i think that’s fine. using another language in dialogue can have applications that add to the story.

BUT. and this is a BIG but. i think often, using another language in fic is inappropriate, intrusive, and ultimately, detracts from the story. inappropriate because often speakers of multiple languages will stick to the language that’s most convenient for the group, and usually people in real life don’t randomly switch to another language on certain words with no context, the way characters do in fic. it exists, in the latter context, only to remind the reader of the particular character’s otherness. intrusive because it forces the reader to do unnecessary work. when i see a section in another language and the translation is in the author’s notes, it interrupts the flow to have to scroll up just to understand what’s happening in the story. even a translation in brackets will interrupt the flow. if you’re going to include a translation anyway, just put the translation in italics to show your character is speaking another language! i think fic authors need to think critically about why they’re including sections of dialogue in another language in their stories, and whether it actually adds anything to the story they’re writing.

18. what was the first fandom you wrote for?

star wars: the clone wars when i was 11. i wrote a self-insert (technically it was an oc but let’s be honest here, that was a thinly veiled attempt to get away with a self-insert) fic where i was a jedi with an orange lightsaber and a darksaber. i very specifically remember being worried that my readers would think my character hadn’t closed the door, so i included a sentence where she closes the door. i hated that sentence; it sounded so stupid and irrelevant, but i thought it was necessary? i later learned you don’t have to describe everything a character does lol

19. what’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

i really wanna write a dungeon meshi farcille fic, but i have no idea what to write! also, i kinda want to write a star wars: the clone wars fic about those two underworld criminal ladies in “lightsaber lost” being in love lol

20. what’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

i think Sing Me Lullabies in Form of My Catcalls. it’s a short story, but i think i nailed the characterizations (and it was my first try for the pov character!) and the descriptions and the general kind of grimy british vibe. the dialogue is a bit clunky, but at the time i thought it was my masterpiece and i think it still stands up, even though i’ve improved a lot since then. it was also my first attempt at writing people necking on and i think it reads really well and i’m very proud of myself for that :)

i will say that Danse Macabre is starting to creep up on lullabies, though. i LOVE danse macabre. it really challenges me to approach my writing differently and to analyze and apply an unfamiliar style, and i’m really proud of how it’s shaping up. it’s the sort of story that makes me excited to write it! i do sometimes worry that the canon characters are getting lost, but overall, i’m really proud of what i’ve achieved so far with the story: i think i’ve done a pretty decent job of capturing a general victorian literary language!

Absolutely! And because I have very little self-control, I will often do so within minutes of receiving them! 😅

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hmmm. I don't really do angst - I mean, I'll write stories where angst happens, but that's rarely the point of the story. If the plot demands a dash of angst, then, much like a chocolate recipe that needs some salt, it will get its angst. But I don't really set out to write A Series of Sad Events in Which the Characters Are Sad; that's just not my style or my taste.

So I can't really say that ANY of my stories have an angsty ending. Oh well.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

With the above in mind, happy endings are basically a guarantee, at least up to a point. 😆 I let my darlings be happy, I let them get married and have things work out, because it's fiction, dammit, and I can.

That being said, probably the happiest of all would be just about any of my Trip/T'Pol fic, because I let them get married and have kids and successful careers and be surrounded by friends and family who love and support them because SCREW YOU CANON.

7. Do you write crossovers?

No, I don't think my brain's wired for that. I just...can't seem to.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Never on AO3 (okay, I once got snippily told I'd mistagged something, but that wasn't hate). I have gotten hate here on Tumblr, though never anything specific, just general "u suck" which...whatever.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

For a long time, I did not.

That answer has since changed.

As for what kind...the sweetest, fluffiest, most loving, happy, vanilla, tooth rotting smut ever.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge, and I seriously doubt I ever would. I'm rather niche.

Again, niche. Haven't yet, doubt I will.

Years ago, I worked on an AU fic project with a friend that was very cool and a lot of fun. None of it ever got published, though.

I wouldn't mind finishing my Shadowrun: Dragonfall fic The Haven. Maybe some day.

Dialogue, baby! I can have two characters sit and talk to each other FOREVER.

Action and physical description. Even when I can clearly see a room where action is occurring in my mind, I have real trouble describing it on the page.

I used to not have any, then I started making up words and phrases in my own version of Andorian for my Trek fic.

And I still don't really have many thoughts, because I'm sure I'm doing it wrong.

Four works so far but hoping to add more since I have a lot more fics written I've never published.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

Wow I didn't even know this was a thing! Had to look up how to find it. My total Ao3 word count is 182,483 words.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

My current works are for Black Panther but I plan to write a oneshot for MCU's Secret Invasion show because I liked Gravik and thought he was hot (I like the skrull in general lol). But I also have pretty long and large fics for Netflix's 2017 movie "Bright" that I want to upload as well. There are other fandoms too but they escape me atm.

I only have four fics up and one of them is brand new so 😅

I did on Winter Moon but I don't particularly care about the opinions of someone whose intentions are to be intentionally dismissive and negative so the comments the person received in return were likely not what they had wanted 💀

Absolutely yes. Bring me the SMUT! Right now! I will write it for you if you don't.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Nah, never did a crossover and not really a fan of them. However when I was still really young there was a gigantic, kind of OOC crossover fic with a bunch of popular anime from the 90s/2000s called Otherworld and I used to read that like it was the bible. It inspired me to do my own first fanfics. There were like 9 books to that story and multiple oneshots and short stories that tied the characters together and everything.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I am aware... and anyone who tries it....

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not publicly, but I have gotten a comment that someone loves my story so much that they translate every chapter so that they could read it properly and it made me so happy 😭❤💕

Nope! But I do love giving other authors ideas and vice versa. I think it helps people think outside the box when they brainstorm with friends.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I'm going to say Attoye from Black Panther for now? I was never that big of a "shipping" person in fandoms but I definitely enjoy Attoye enough to say I ship them. I also like Nashuri and Killmora.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Nothing atm. I tend to work on stories in order of inspiration and importance. I don't publish things I'm not willing to commit time to at some point.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'm not sure exactly. I've been told that I write very descriptively and that it can paint a vivid picture of scenarios and characters, so I'll go with that.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Fluff and filler. I don't dislike fluff completely but I tend to write it as realistically as possible because trying to imagine people being that super ooey gooey makes me wanna gag and cringe lmfao

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I do it only when necessary for the simple fact that having to provide translations for entire scenes of dialogue gets tiresome and tricky.
