FEAST YOUR EYES UPON MY HALFBAKED SHIPPING IDEAS!!!🤣🤣🤣 Lol. I need something to cheer me up. These or Pixane usually does the trick. Also, I wrote most of these well past my bedtime. So you KNOW it's gonna be fun! Lol! And I have a little post-series stuff thrown in too. So these headcanons aren't canon to Dragons Rising. Just wanted to make that clear. Anyhoo, let's go!

1: Vania fell first. Cole fell harder.

2: They like to go hiking and spelunking ALL the time. They're the cutest little adventure duo ever! They've discovered all sorts of secret places in Shintaro's mountains. And even some ancient artifacts and cave paintings from Shintaro's past!

3: Whenever Cole visits Shintaro, Vania just lights up. She's happiest when she has her bestie with her.❤️

4: Vania once tried to teach Cole how to use the Shintarians Flight Packs. He was absolutely terrified at first. (Falling off of stuff trauma.😭) But Vania told him to focus on something nice so he wouldn't look down too much. He ended up looking at her. Cue mutual blushing and shy downward glances.🤣

5: Cole taught her some new dance moves. (She had been brought up on more refined forms of dance. Like waltz and such.) She wanted to try something different.

6: At first, they are both quite shy around each other. Not quite sure how close to get. But eventually once they got comfortable around each other, they became very snuggly and affectionate. Especially Cole.😊🧡🧡🧡

7: Everyone in the Ninja fam were super happy when Cole finally admitted to liking Vania. He'd always been so supportive of their own relationships. So they were happy he'd finally have a partner of his own to love.

8: Vise versa, the Geckle and Munce were very excited that the Skyfolk Queen was interested in the Son of Gilly/Milly.

9: Vania loves to chatter about her interests and Cole is always happy to listen. (Chatty Extrovert x Good Listener!😁) Vania sometimes secretly worries she's talking his ear off. She doesn't know that Cole loves just hearing her voice.🥹❤️

10: Vania is very protective of Cole. She loves him dearly. Even before they started their relationship. She wasn't kidding when she said she would bring her entire army to his aid. (As seen in Crystalized.) That being said, I think she would do anything in her power to help keep him safe.

Okay, post series ones now!

11: Cole had this perfect plan for proposing to her. Except he wasn't expecting one thing. When it finally came time to propose, Vania proposed at the same time. 🤣 They laughed about it more a good ten minutes before exchanging rings.

12: Cole ends up becoming King Consort of Shintaro. At first, the Shintarian people are a bit apprehensive to the idea of having some who isn't a Shintarian on the throne. But this changes quickly after seeing what a good ruler he is. And he quickly becomes popular with the people.

13: They have three kids. Their names are Valkyrie, Zephyr, and Collette. AKA Cole Jr.✨ More on that later.

14: Val and Zephie here are twins. But, they're aren't identical twins. Val looks more human and is the spitting image of Lilly. Except with streaks of gold in her black hair. Meanwhile, Zephyr looks more like a Shintarian. And he has the opposite. Gold hair with black streaks.

15: Cole was unbelievably excited about finally becoming a father. He'd always wanted kids of his own. When Val and Zephyr were born, he actually cried when he got to hold them. He couldn't believe him and Vania could make something so beautiful.

16: Collette is the baby of the family. She's adorable and definitely a daddy's girl. Also, this happened;👉

Jay: Hey Cole! I guess you missed out on naming one of your kids Cole Jr again, huh?

Cole: *smirks* Oh? Meet your niece, Collette.

Jay: A- *Jay EXE. has stopped*

Cole: *Dabs in victory*

Kai: Son of a gun. He did it.

47. AU if they had a more normal childhood- How would they be in high school? (Would Ian be a jock? a cheerleader? would he be popular? Would Mickey enjoy studying? what's his favorite subject?) i don't think there's a universe where ian and mickey have normal childhoods and still come out the other end as ian and mickey. but if they had somewhat-stable childhoods? i think they would still be the goofy army kid and the drug dealer. mickey would barely make it to graduation and he would be a class behind, but he wouldnt drop out without even finishing freshman year like in canon. ian loves rotc but he doesnt have tunnel vision fkr joining the military, because hes not as desperate to get away and start a new life. maybe ian gets his math tutoring from mickey, and mickey studies for english tests with ian. i love aus where they are more than just secret fuckbuddies in high school. i need more of them holed up in ians room at dinnertime, passing cigs and joints, teaching each other about inverse trig functions and symbolism in the great gatsby. yeah a lot of things are still shit and they still make a lot of mistakes. yeah mickeys dad is still a piece of shit and ian barely makes it through senior year from the stress of his diagnosis. but it's better. and they are still ian and mickey. so it's all still worth it in the end

(Gallaghers / friends / franny ) i definitely think debbie tries to subtly hound mickey for info about sandy. what she's doing, where she's at, who she's hanging out with. at first mickey tells her to ask sandy her fucking self, but he realizes 1. he has to be nicer to the only free welder he knows 2. nothing he does to deflect the questions actually makes debbie leave him alone. so he answers her curtly and holds in his annoyance for debbie's obsession with his cousin. eventually he actually tells her something worth listening to, and debbie takes the hint and tries a new tactic for approaching sandy (debbie hasn't been able to get her out of her head and she needs closure or she's gonna combust)

i think lip and tami also sometimes try to drag gallavich into their fights. "you know what it's like living together in a small space, tell her im right." "you've made your relationship work for a while, why dont you give him some advice on how to do the same thing." ian tries to stay out of it because hes very biased toward lip, but mickey honestly dgaf about lip and tami's relationship so he tells them they're both equally and dumb and annoying and they better find someone else to talk to about all this relationship shit before he rigs their duplex with c-4s

i don't think lip goes back to school, at least not in the near future. maybe further down the line, but for now he's in the mechanic and refurbishing business. which honestly he can make a hell of a lot of money doing so i see no reason why he would feel the need to go back to school and burn himself out and be in debt all over again.

the siblings keep in contact with fiona. i like to imagine she eventually moves much closer to chicago like fort wayne or springfield. somewhere that makes long weekend visits possible. they definitely facetime and are on good terms. if she moves closer i can see liam possibly moving to live with her? or at least stay with her during summer break

When he climbed into the shower to comfort Monica — My feelings on Monica aside, this scene absolutely destroyed me. The way he didn't hesitate to climb in fully clothed to comfort her? The way he holds her? His hands cradling her head? I literally burst into tears. (Tacking on when he's curled up in the hospital bed with her after the accident, too.)

The car chase in the season 4 premiere — On top of the fact that this was one of the best episodes of the show period, Kayce's rage and determination chasing down that van AND JUST STRAIGHT UP RAMMING INTO IT WITH HIS TRUCK? Yeah, holy shit.

"Put it in park or I'll drag you across the whole fuckin' state" — The way he hunted this man down. Chased his truck on horseback. Lassoed him around the neck while he was driving. DRUG HIM OUT OF THE CAR???? THREATENED HIM??? (And got that widow the money for the horses, too) 10/10 man, loml.

Kayce doesn't take Walker to the train station — This scene was so important to who Kayce is as a character and a reminder of the fact that even though his hands are certainly dirty, he's one of the few people on the show that actually still has a moral compass.

Saving Tate — His ruthless determination to save Tate by whatever means necessary in the season 2 finale was just...so much. So so much.

Also his very first scene in the series premiere deserves a nod as well, because the second he showed up on screen I said, "I'm going to be obsessed with this character, aren't I?"

wait and the fight with Rip because there's just something about a man covered in his own blood...amiright.

(AND "Oh I'll keep 'em out...but you're gonna fuckin' hate the way I do it" THE ABSOLUTE SASS OF THIS SCENE)

“So big boy, that was quite a practice show huh?” Eddie teased, while Steve just rolled his eyes. 

“Whatever Munson.”

“Cut the chit chat you two. Everyone has a 15-minute break before we go on. And it’s the real deal this time. I’ll be checking up on everyone occasionally, got it?” Nancy told the group, her voice nothing but serious. You rolled your eyes at Robin, who giggled. 

You both agreed Nancy took her job as stage manager too seriously, after all, you were just a bunch of teenagers in a silly band together. 

You inched closer to Robin while Nancy was still lecturing the group. 

“So,” You whispered. 

“So..?”

“Are you excited about the show?”

“Oh yeah, most definitely.” Robin smiled. 

You two had been dating for a couple of months, but you both agreed not to tell anyone just yet. It was tough keeping the secret from Steve, who was a bit too invested in your girlfriend’s love life. 

“Okay Robin, I know Vicky didn’t work out but I have a plan B.”

“Huh? What are you talking about dingus.”

“Look, I made a chart of all the girls your age in Hawkins who are most likely into boobies and-”

“Steve. Stop. First off, gross, second off, just no.”

Jonathan nudged you out of your thoughts. 

“Nancy’s done talking now, are you just gonna stand there or..?”

You had about 10 minutes left of your break, and Robin was hanging out in your dressing room. 

You were contently listening to Robin rant about one thing or another while touching up your makeup, a wide smile on your face the entire time. 

“Are you done yet? I wanna cuddle.” Robin mumbled. 

“You can sit in my lap while I finish.” You offered, and Robin quickly climbed into your lap. 

You found comfort in her warmth, and as much as you would never admit it, this was better than playing on stage. Much, much better. You didn’t want this moment to end. Robin buried her head in the crook of your neck. 

“Can we skip the show and just stay like this forever.” She mumbled, which made you chuckle. 

“Its like you read my mind.”

You two where so wrapped up in each other you didn’t even hear Nancy’s footsteps approaching the door.

“Hey, Y/n is in Robin here? You guys have f-”

You both froze and stared at Nancy for a second, before quickly separating. 

Nancy’s eyes where wide and she closed the door behind her. You two braced for the lecture you were about to get, or being kicked out of the band all together. 

“Nancy I promise it’s not what you-” Robin started. 

“No need to explain. You two make a cute couple.” Nancy smiled, and a huge wave of relief washed over you and Robin both. 

“Anyway, five minutes till showtime. Hope you’re ready!” Nancy said, before leaving to check the others. 

You and Robin stood there in silence for a moment, before you finally broke it. 

“She handled it really well, should we tell the others about us?” You softly questioned. 

“Yeah. Yeah I think we should.” Robin agreed. 

“After the show?”

“After the show.”

You turned to her and smiled, before lightly kissing her cheek.

You both giggled, before Jonathan rushed in. “Hurry up guys, we can’t afford to be late.”

The show went great, and Nancy suggested you all go out to celebrate. You ended up choosing the local pizza place, which was close to the venue you had been playing at. 

“You’ll never take me alive!” Eddie practically screamed as Steve tried to force him to eat pizza with pineapple on it. 

“Its good, I promise!”

“Hell no Steve. I’m not letting you poison me tonight.” Eddie crossed his arms. 

Meanwhile Jonathan and Nancy where having light conversation from across the table, Nancy was next to them, completely ignoring Eddie’s desperate cries for help. 

You and Robin giggled at the boys antics safely from across the table. 

“Y/n! Save me from this devil man’s evil concoction!” 

“No, I think I’d rather stay here with my lovely girlfriend.” You said, leaning onto Robin. 

“Yeah Eddie, I’m her first priority.” Robin smirked. 

Both the boys just stared at you both, Eddie’s mouth slightly open, like he was processing. 

“You two make a cute couple. Congrats.” Jonathan acknowledged. 

Just before it looked like Eddie was about to say something Steve quickly shoved the piece of pineapple pizza into his mouth. 

“Victory!” 

“You bitch!” Eddie lightly shoved Steve after being forced to take a bite of the pizza. 

“Oh c’mon, you liked it.” Steve rolled his eyes. 

“No Harrington. You have murdered me with your devil pizza.”  Eddie said, before dramatically falling onto Steve. 

You and Robin giggled, and Steve turned his attention to Robin before whispering, 

“She was totally on my list of girls who like boobies.”

Omg thanks so much for the ask, I am truly bored despite being busy lmao 😂. I started YR because of Heartstopper. Heartstopper is what I'm really looking forward to and I heard people saying HS fans will like YR too so I watched it and I was so invested, I haven't watched a teenage show in a long time that I super loved. Not that I didnt love HS or Stranger Things (if that even counts). I liked those shows but I didn't really get obsess with those then YR happened and I'm just so 🥺🥰😍🤩💗

I think what I really love about this show is that the characters are complex and felt real despite this just being a teenage show and being about a school full of rich teenagers in nobility which is something I can definitely not relate to 😆 (I'd be honest, this is probably one of the few teenage shows I've watched so I dont have much idea about this. 😅) I'd like to say more about Wilhelm and Simon's character but this is gonna turned into an essay. I do plan to make a youtube video of why Simon is such a comfort character but I'm still making a video of Happier than Ever with Simon and Wilhelm, the focus will be on Simon's POV.

I really hope that Wille will have the courage to come out to anyone and declare that he is wholeheartedly in love with Simon. It didn't need to be a public announcement, just anyone who will realize 'holy shit, this guy's really in love.'

I hope that Sara gets her sense back and realize that August is truly not worth it. I want Wille to hang out more with Simon's friends and I want to meet his friends from his previous school too. What do his friends think of the video? I think Wille's gonna be honest to his friends about what he feels for Simon. How will they react to this?

I need more Felice and I want her to be friends with Wilhelm too. August should definitely pay back for what he did.

While I want Wille to be honest and address his sexuality in public,I just think that this isn't a Red White and Royal Blue story where you can be optimistic about what will happen. For sure, there's gonna be more drama in the 2nd season. I'm so excited for the new characters, hope one of them is Wille's friends

The favorite scene is such a tough question because there's so many, most of them Wilmon moments but I'd go for the football field scene. Wille remembering Simon's number, calling him to confess his feelings and Simon going to the football field so he can save him even if Wille didn't ask. When Wille couldn't believe that he actually came and he couldn't help but hug Simon and call him beautiful. Like, he's so in love. I want that 😭

And Simon's reaction of being genuinely mad and annoyed but concerned for his safety and health which is a pretty realistic reaction on that kind of situation btw. Simon doesn't let Wilhelm calling him beautiful and confessing his love gets on him. He's just focused on getting him out of there. In other movie/series, it would have Simon staring at Wille's eyes while he's on the ground when he calls him beautiful and probably a kiss between the two to make it romantic but for me, the fact that Simon's reaction is realistic makes this scene more romantic.

I can tell you this has made me consider Situations.

So without further ado, here's a list of mxtx characters that I could be friends with and potentially introduce to my mom, ranging from "this would cause irreparable damage to our relationship" to "she would invite them again in a heartbeat" (caveat: I've only watched what's out of the svsss donghua and I'm still at the very start of the tgcf novel so this is very mdzs oriented. If a character isn't here it's because I don't know them or I wouldn't be friends with them 🧡). Also warning my mom is an otherwise kind and generous 70-something woman whose love language is making fun of you in a devastatingly accurate way at the most unexpected moment.

Dishonorable mention. Xue Yang: no. Just no. She doesn't know of his existence and we're keeping it that way. Xue Yang is not even allowed to be in the same country as her, I'm straight up putting him in a plane when my mom comes to visit. Can't risk it.

17. Luo Binghe: honestly okay as a friend (although the drama gives me headaches) and I'd tell my mom about him in passing, but they can never meet. He seems nice on the surface but he manages to make any mundane thing look unhinged. Too big of a risk, if anything happens it might be the thing that destroys all the progress my mom and I have made over the years

16. Nie Huaisang: my mom hates whiny people. He'd get tipsy and make a scene, negative points out of 10. She would not really endorse our friendship because of his whole lack of work ethics thing. However he's insufferable in a normal way so he's still above Binghe.

15. Mo Xuanyu: I love him and I hate to say it, but he's too queer for my mom. She's making progress but she might never get there. She'd be very nice to him though but it'd be awkward for everyone involved. Pass.

14. Liu Qinghe: he's rude and abrasive. I get it but she won't. If he could get a grip on himself she might like him though. Tentatively placed not at the bottom on the off chance he might just be very quiet and at most scoff once in a while.

13. Shen Qingqiu (Yuan): she would probably like his facade but if he slips up it's all over. He's not that bad but if he goes on a rant she would judge him for the rest of her life and make underhanded comments about him on the phone. Might be willing to take the gamble as long as Binghe isn't tagging along.

12. Jin Guangyao: she can tell something is deeply Wrong with him so she wouldn't like him (she likes authenticity and gets weary of people who are hiding stuff) but she'd appreciate his politeness. He's showing up with a gift and he says all the right things but he deflects all her teasing which she takes personally. Potentially she might pity him a bit if she figures out that he's just too stressed to relax, which hopefully he might not notice. Most likely she might think that HE doesn't want to be friends with her and that's why he's maintaining the faux polite act. She asks about him on the phone but it's a bit stilted. If he could relax and be more genuine around her, she'd like him, but thats not gonna happen

11. Song Lan: he's nice and polite and he brought a little something as a gift so she's already on board. However he's a bit austere and not very talkative so it doesn't get any further. She'd comment on how handsome he is afterwards though.

10. Lan Wangji: at first she wouldn't really like him because again she doesn't like people who are too quiet but his manners are impeccable and he'd help her with the dishes and share some anecdotes about our friendship and she would love him although when talking on the phone she'd say something like "he's special but he's a nice young man". She wouldn't try to make fun of him thought so they can never really become close.

9. Xiao Xingchen: she can tell he's Weird but hes quick to laugh and an absolute sweetheart. He lacks too much of a backbone to be one of her faves but she definitely asks news of him once in a while.

8. Jiang Cheng: hard to place.... she would dislike his initial everything, but if he gets even just a little bit vulnerable in front of her she would love him. Maybe she makes a little bit of a mean joke to shut down his whole bravado act and he gets flustered enough for her to get to what's really under the surface. She takes a very no bullshit approach with him and I think it might really work tbh. She's sharing baby parenting tips with him by the end of the evening. She sends me links for baby stuff so I can forward them to him.

7. Mianmian: she speaks her mind but she's kind and polite, that's a win! My mom would try to steal her kid but that's fair game. Tries to talk about social issues at the dinner table though which my mom usually tries to avoid, so she gets points off. If they can get to talk about this stuff after dinner though my mom would love to chat and share memories about her childhood or the times during the war. She also sends me links for baby stuff for her.

6. Wen Qing: she has a bite, she's polite and straight forward, she has a great career and comes with stellar recommendations, that's a bingo! My mom would not only love her, she would keep looking at me very pointedly. She is seeing the daughter in law opportunity. I keep telling her I'm not into her like that and she keeps saying "that's a shame.... maybe one day"

5. Wen Ning: she would treat him like a baby bird. He's a bit too quiet for her but she would be able to tell he's just shy so she'd spend some time alone with him to get him out of his shell and ask some kind questions about his life. On the phone she tells me to say hi to him on her behalf because he's such a nice young man and also she hopes I'm taking good care of him. She'd also make fun of him a bit but then add a little "no no he's nice I'm being mean". They send each other pictures of their garden once in a while but otherwise they don't really talk and they're very comfortable with it. They go on babysitting dates with a-yuan and her grandchildren. Pretty sure Wen Ning would love her more than me in the end.

4. Nie Mingjue: he's loud he's manly he's respectful he's complimenting her on the food and her outfit. What's not to love. She tries to tease him a bit but he takes it seriously and starts getting a little bit teary so she immediately aborts. Also he clears the table without being prompted and maybe tries to fix the leak in my bathroom before leaving. She's charmed. She's adding him to my brother's artisan network within the week.

3. Lan Xichen: she would love him more than me and take his side over mine if we'd ever get into a fight. She'd make fun of him a bit as a joke and he wouldn't know what to do but ultimately laugh along, which she would find hilarious and adorable. They do end up laughing together at some anecdote or another. As soon as he gets the hang of it he'd be very good at making subtle digs at people which she would find delightful. He listens to her talk about documentaries and adds relevant commentary. She's gonna ask news of him everytime we're on the phone now. Might ask periodically if we're still sure we're both too gay for this to work out, just in case. She tells me to give him her number in case of an emergency.

2. Wei Wuxian: he's charming he's polite he's clever he's witty he can tell a good story and more than anything else he can take a good joke. They're ribbing each other 30min into the conversation and anyone who tries to pitch in gets instantly roasted by the both of them. They talk about their love for babies for so long I have to exile myself to the kitchen to escape from it. They get each other's number and within the month they have a dozen inside jokes about me. It's great because both of them understand what the boundaries for this are, it's devastating because they make the other 40% worse on sight.

1. Xie Lian: they love each other at first glance. They're making inside jokes barely halfway into the night. She's getting the sweet wine out to chat into the night with him. They don't exchange numbers but my mom keeps asking when he's going to stop by next and also how does he feel about hiking with her sometimes. I don't understand how this works but also i can't deny it in my gut.

I’m gonna say 1 out of 10 on the scale because generally I’m not, but then a random thing will get me for a second and like… pull me into its vortex. I had a friend who used to tap the roof of her car when she’d run a yellow light and for some reason I took that on for a couple months. I suspect it’s more that I enjoy the concept of a ritual vs actually thinking anything would happen if I didn’t do it.
