I feel like if anyone is worthy enough to hold Mjolnir it's gotta be Ms Marvel

This makes me sad on multiple levels. TR felt like a one-off to me, not meshing with previous movies and characterizations. It had good moments and some fun popcorn stuff, but it was...fluffy junk food that kinda makes you sick afterwards. The ONLY way I can view Ragnarok is that it is totally the POV of a frat boy, namely Thor, selling his own grandeur while recounting his exploits over beers at the local pub. Cause that is exactly what it feels like.
And after seeing End Game, finally? It just sends that message home hard that that is exactly what Thor is: frat boy who can't really function without a defined set of parameters. This is why I never really cared for any incarnation of Thor as he has always given me this vibe. And funnier still is that for all his ham-handed "comic relief" (which I found totally unnecessary and even embarrassing), it only proved that Thor NEEDS Loki in order for him to be his best self.
So Thor/CH? All your posturing backfired. You became the high school quarterback who can't do anything but relive past glories. I don't even know if traveling with GotG will do you any good in the movie-verse. It was a damned wonder you were still worthy. But then again, what is worthy was always questionable in Asgard.
And I get the regret and the fact that you had to accept failure and really, truly realize some things about yourself...but did you? Did you really grow at all? We end your part of the movie with more hints of the old posturing back.
Steve was always more worthy.
For that matter, so is Loki. At least he knows who he is and learns from his experiences.
Hey Gagnarok fans,
You can call us delusional, wild or whatever the fuck you want but the fact is Loki was one of the most popular MCU character and an amazing villain but Gagnarok replaced him with a pretty boy with negligible skills who sleeps his way to the top. In short, an opportunistic slut.
We have a right to be angry because that’s not what we wanted for our favorite character. The entire sham of a movie was a fucking smear campaign.
Plus, Chris Hemsworth being jealous of Tom Hiddleston is a speculation but it didn’t come out of nowhere. Read the guy’s interviews. See how much he despised the earlier movies just because he was overshadowed by Tom Hiddleston. Even Taika Waititi didn’t hold back his loathing for Loki.
Chris Hemsworth is a human being just like us, so why won’t he be frustrated or jealous after seeing almost every critic sing praises about Tom Hiddleston for the first two movies?
How the fuck can we give indisputable proof of his jealousy given he would have never admitted it? It’s not like we’re his family or friends 🤷‍♂️
All we can do is make inferences from the interviews and if you read between the lines there is plenty to show he wasn’t happy at all with the previous two movies. Jane Foster was called inferior and removed from the franchise with just one remark, and best of all Thor became a dudebro 🤦‍♂️
But even after all this, the truth is…
Tom Hiddleston is a much better actor than Chris Hemsworth!!!
