Thinking about the last time Orange failed against Moxley, and about what happens if Orange fails tonight when the stakes are so much higher. All he had to lose before was his title, now he's lost so much more and he's put so much pressure on himself to do this not for himself but for everyone in the locker room and the fans watching on. If he fails, that could break him entirely. It was hard watching him lose last time when he still had best friends, I don't think I can cope with seeing him lose without them there to pick him up

Why do you want Ash to be sad? Man, people these days can't let characters be happy. What do you mean I'm the same? (Shoves angsty fanfic behind my back) I have no idea what you're talking about.
But on the subject, I am so confused about where I stand on this. Like, I want him to win so bad because my boy deserves it, but like... there has been no conflict this season aside from Bea who vanished a while ago, so losing would hit hard. And serve as a nice segway into SV anime. I want him to win, it would be epic as all hell, but also the angst of losing? Is there no way to have both? JN is all about breaking tradition despite its poor execution, so I want a choose your ending lol.
You got me on the first half, ngl. I was ready to get anxious lmao No anon, I don't want him to be sad.....I want him to feel anxious, insecure, guilty, desperate, defeated- but yes sad in sintesis.
I normally wouldn't want him to lose, he deserves everything. But both from a logistic and emotional point....it would be better if he did. Like image how POWERFUL it would be if executed right-not only on Ash himself but on his surrondings- showing all of Ash's friends after years....only for to see him lose?-
-lemme go full fanfic real quick cause I like angst and apparently, so do you-
image little Bonnie and Max crying on their respective's siblings's arms, Delia and Burnet tearing up at the sigh of their little ray of light losing like that as Lei looks up at his mom all confused- Dawn "daiyobuu, daiyobuu" at a tearful Piplup as she herself smiles through her tears; Paul leaving the room as Regi asks him if he doesn't want to see the closure ceremony, getting a lone "what for?" in response; the Alolians slowly lowering their "champion" signs, image all the POKEMON both in the ranch and in Alola, lowering their ears/heads as Tracey tries to give a comforting pat to a tearful Bayleef, Rowlet comforting an teary eyed Melmetal (he can get tear-eyed trust me) as Gladion's lycaroc pets an whining Dusk doggo, the RELEASED pokemon like Greninja, Nagadeel, Nebby, Squirtle, etc FELT something went wrong cause even through the distance their hearts are with Ash's, so they do that anime thing where they stop what they were doing to look with concern over their shoulder; Gary who just recently got back home in time to watch his bestie perform simply pats Infernape on the shoulder and whisper a little "He has come a long a way, but still...." and speaking of bittersweet reactions, Brock and Misty met to watch it together (he went to her gym cause he is a sweetie and knows of her schedule) and share this looks that is all "we are proud of how much our lil bro had progressed (that is how I see the trio's dynamic) but....darn" (if they were allowed to swear you know Misty would utter an "fucking hell" with a smile, but with tears on the corner of her eyes); Cilan and Iris also got together to watch it, he wanted to cheer her up too, after all. Welp, his job just got doubled. Back in Alola after the initial shock is wear down Kiawe lets out a "tsk" thing and kicks a nearby table, being scolded by Lana....because he didn't kick it hard enough, and proceed to do so herself. "Should we stop them?" utter Principal Oak toward his stellar teacher, who simply shakes his head with eyes hidden by the brim of his cap (heh, like father like son) he also, wants to kick the stupid table. Like the two mentioned older siblings, Gladion is also comforting his younger sister, but albeit a bit more awkwardly since one, he is not used to it and two, he also wants to kick the table. Mallow sadly at a cake she made as a present for Ash as they were planning an Alola surprised after the M8- well, it could be used as an consolation price, she guessed. Serena is about to enter a new contest, dress and all, but stopped to watch the match on the TV of the hall and was called for it shortly after it ended- despite her best attends to smile, she knew she couldn't bring her 100% that day. Back in the stadium, with Goh in tears, Hop is looking at the stadium, pussled, Goh tries to be polite and congrats him for his brother victory but "He....doesn't look too happy about it" and he is not.
I seriously need to put this on fanfic format

Best of DC: Week of July 31st, 2019
Best of this Week: Batman: Last Knight on Earth #2 - Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion, FCO Plascencia and Tom Napolitano
The last case Batman will ever solve, might just be his most terrifying.
Beginning with Batman confronting an older Joe Chill in the past over the dead child in Crime Alley that looks eerily similar to Bruce. Our hero kind of surprises and disarms him by removing all of the weapons he’s hidden around his apartment. Chill seems to have been expecting him, preparing what he calls an “end of an era feast” for Bruce, implying he knows his identity. To make matters even more interesting, he insinuates that he didn’t even kill the Waynes for Marth pearls and makes it seem like there was an even larger plan afoot than anyone realized.
Cutting back to the Nightmare future, Batman and Joker’s Head are taken by surprise as a Speed Force Storm tears through the desert. Never let it be said that Greg Capullo hasn’t been improving his skills at body horror because the tornado is terrifying. Consisting of the constantly shifting, twisting and stretched bodies of Barry Allen, Bart Allen, Jay Garrick and possibly others, the faces scream and cry for Bruce to help them. It’s a shocking and unsettling sight as one can almost hear the deafening cries of atom splitting agony that they’re going through. The deep red of the storm doesn’t help as it just makes things FAR more threatening than they need to be. Bruce and Joker sit in a cave for safety while Bruce laments that there is absolutely nothing that he can do to save them.
The pair continue on, hang gliding through the air, crossing over a base named Fort Waller. Joker tells Batman that originally it was the last bastion of hope, where Mr. Terrific, Dr. Sivana, Ivo and others could combine their knowledge with the powers of the new avatars of the Green and Red to repel those incensed by Luthor. Batman asks him what happens and Joker’s narration ends as they watch the battle. Unknown Soldiers fighting abominations of the Red in a hellish battle of blood and fire until a Swamp Thing appears from the crimson dust of their fight, no longer appearing to have any faculties or emotion other than: KILL.
The tone shifts as they reach an area known as the Plains of Solitude, seeming a mass of crystalline structures similar to Superman’s secret base. The cool blues of this area offer something of a safety in a book that has otherwise been overbearingly tense since it began. It doesn’t help that Joker’s been doing variations of “can I be Robin, are we there yet, and knock knock jokes the entire time. Bruce snaps that he could never be Robin because Robin was a good guy and who in this world was still like that? Pods shaped like Superman’s baby rocket start landing close to Bruce and Joker before the pair are saved by… Superman?
Or so we think, this “very talkative” (end sarcasm) Superman leads the pair to a farmhouse in the middle of the plains where a surprisingly alive and potentially insane Lex Luthor greets them. Batman, furious at the state of this world demands to know what happened, what did Luthor do? Luthor answers that he had a debate with Superman. What makes this so interesting is that, Luthor says that he knows that he should have lost. The stakes were such that, the loser would be impaled by spike of Kryptonite and Luthor, having almost crapped himself a speech mostly using platitudes from others in his own words, didn’t hold a candle to Ka-El… but in the end, Superman ends up skewered and the world goes to hell with him.
It begs the question of, what happened? Did all of the people just side with Luthor on impulse? Did something happen to sway them or was someone else manipulating things? Everything is speculation. Things are cut short, however as Bane and Scarecrow show up to punish Luthor and bring Batman to their new God, Omega. Bane appears to be absolutely rotting with venom as his veins are green and his skin is pale. Scarecrow looks absolutely scraggly with long, gnarled fingers with syringes at the end of his fingers. Scarecrow has poisoned the Superman clone and forces him to try and break the Bat.
Suddenly, as Superman lifts Batman above his head, a sword pierces his chest as it’s revealed that Wonder Woman has returned to save the Caped Crusader. The two are told to run away by Luthor, to save the world as he opens a portal for them and is summarily torn apart by other infected Superman Clones.
We see the full extent of the utter destruction Luthor’s actions have caused as they land on the cloak of The Spectre. Wonder Woman tells Batman that the fighting eventually spilled over and destroyed both Heaven and Hell. It only makes sense, doesn’t it? The forces of magic are very powerful in the DC Universe. How much trouble would it take for a Mordru or Neron to tangle with Doctor Fate or Zatanna, culminating in the ruination of the afterlife, damning everyone to a non-existence at the end of everything?
They enter the cloak and take a ride down the River Styx. Diana tells Bruce that the voices of the dead will be calling out to him for sending them there. Capullo stuns with a double page spread of many of DCs biggest heroes, showing Batman the sheer weight of what his as-of-yet unknown role in Luthor’s scheme was. There are far too many to name, but I will say that I appreciate Capullo putting Kyle Rayner among those in the front. His deaths in many alt-stories will always irk me, but I do like seeing him recognized and put higher than Hal Jordan or even John Stewart.
Things take an even darker turn as Alfred shows up among the dead and Batman almost climbs out of the little boat, knowing that he just saw Alfred not too long ago and he and Wonder Woman make it to the real Gotham City with a cliffhanger and a surprising reveal at the end.
Last Knight on Earth pulls no punches when it comes to depicting a desolate world where Doom wins. I want to say that it’s almost dour to the point of being almost being hopeless and that’s exactly what I love. I adore how much is being packed into this story, how many references to the greater DC universe we’re getting. Capullo’s art is probably the best it has been in years and the quality of the writing is right on part with Dark Knights: Metal. It’s a righteous trip as Batman lugs the annoying head of the Joker around like a planet hopping adventure. It’s really fun and very dark.

The world needs more Swamp Thing stories.
Runner Up: Justice League Dark Annual #1 - James Tynion IV, Ram V, Guillem March, Arif Prianto and Rob Leigh
This annual was dark, far darker than most of the Justice League Dark tales so far because of how self contained it was and the sheer weight of the situation therein. Sure, it wasn't a world ending cataclysm like the one they just stopped, but that doesn't make it any less horrible. I'd never heard of Ram V before, but their storytelling, combined with Guillem March's art makes me feel like I've been pulled back into the old days of Vertigo.
Magic is broken. After Wonder Woman and Zatanna used the Ruby of Life to repair the damage they did to magic after defeating the Lords of Order, magic itself is repairing itself, but in a manner that throws the old rules out of the window.
Consequently, the Parliament of Trees has been destroyed and now Swamp Thing has no one to answer to as the new Parliament of Flowers is seeking a new champion. After confronting Constantine about coming on as a consultant for the League, the con-man convinces Swamp Thing to go on the search for the new Avatar before he loses his humanity like Swampy did. Swamp thing tries to act like he doesn't care, but goes off to find the man.
The story descends into something of a tragedy as we're introduced to Oleander Sorrel, a flower botanist, and his wife Natasha.
What makes this story so great is that, like the best Swamp Thing stories, it focuses on other characters and their own personal situations. The pair suffer in a broken marriage after the death of their son which causes Natasha to leave Oleander and himself delving deeper into his work, later resulting in his death. He becomes the Avatar of Flowers, but refuses to let go of his humanity after Swamp Thing tries to convince him that he is no longer a man.
He seeks out his wife and watches over her until Jason Woodrue, a very old DC villain that really hasn't been seen since the early days of The New 52, whispers in Oleanders ear. Oleander listens and suddenly a boy that looks very close to their son appears at the door. Natasha is happy, then another child appears and another until Natasha is absolutely blind with love for her new kids.
But not all gifts are good. There's no way that Woodrue doesn't get something out of this himself. There's always an underlying plot and Swamp Thing manages to uncover what really happened to Oleander. The fire that killed him was actually a pool of caustic that he laid in his flower bed and kills himself in. Oleander did die in the pool, but his memory lived on in the flowers that he planted. This revelation stuns Oleander and the children he created out of flowers begin to dissipate. He grows weary, knowing that Swamp Thing was right and Woodrue manages to convince him to rest for a while before feasting upon his flower flesh, regaining his own connection to The Green.
This annual definitely fit the title. It was Dark, not only from a storytelling standpoint, but also visually. Natasha’s post crying face was heart wrenching to see and Gullem March squeezed every bit of emotion out of it that he could. Her lips quivered, her eye makeup ran just a bit and there was a hopelessness that could be felt. Oleander’s transformation was a beautiful kind of macabre with his appearance, composed entirely of flowers, looking very sinewy and skeletal at the same time. Colors are very warm, juxtaposed against an ever growing sense of dread that culminated in the most haunting scene of Oleander growing more and more flower children. The shot is perfect as Oleander is shown to be a hapless man whose only intent is to make his wife happy, but his methods are horrifying almost wrong.
When the children begin to disappear following the revelation, light is shown on them while the background remains dark. Their petals waft away with the night winds as Natasha has to watch in horror, likely to be absolutely broken by the experience of losing her kids. Woodrue eating Oleander afterwards, however, is brutal. The color shifts to a deep red and Woodrue furiously munches on the flowers, gnawing and tearing his way into Oleander’s body and emerging as a new creature unto himself.
I haven’t been able to find anything about this Ram V person, but I want to read more of their work. This book was absolutely stunning and I hope that it does well enough to warrant another Swamp Thing mini-series or full run. Amidst the cancellation of the show after just one season, it’s definitely something the world needs more of. This story was chilling, well paced and had a great focus on someone else while keeping it’s main star tangential as he should be in things like these. This is a definite high recommend from me.

T.J: that's cheating Joen, no fair.
Joen laughs loudly and starts munching the pie before everyone came in the kitchen. Joen: hello? Oh hey dude, how's it hanging there? Yeah I'm good, yes I was the Rabbit. Oh really? I would love to meet your friend, who is this friend of yours?
Linette and T.J peak out of the door where Joen was talking which is his rival friend since 20's. Linette knew who is calling for Joen and they could hear him about hanging out together which surprised them. They didn't hang out often since 2013 and Joen accepts his invitation to what event he wants Joen to hang out.
Joen: alright.... In my amusement park, you and her are going to meet me ran pass my place after work? That would be perfect! Yeah Nicol, see ya on Friday.
After Joen put down the phone and teleported back to the kitchen to put his empty plate to the sink, he saw all of the members look at him in suspension.
Joen: uhh.... Why are you staring at me for?
Linette: so, you and Nicol huh? We haven't seen or hang out together since 2013.
Joen: I uhh...
T.J: Its fine Joen, the Dog will be alright around ya right?
Lea: yeah, since the whole rivalry between you with your brothers and him along with his brothers about that situation-
Joen: and we are in peace, but people still see us that the war isn't over.
He said quickly to cut off Lea's sentence as all of them agreed and nodded. He doesn't want that returning to his mind, he had already move on about what happened.
Linette: so, Nicol invite you at your amusement park?
Jeon: Not really a invitation but he will ran pass my amusement park and he gunna introduce me to someone from a foreign country.
Bebe: really? Did you asked him who this foreign person the Dog wanted to introduce you?
Joen: actually Bee I did. Unfortunately he didn't give me any credit to who, but he told me its a girl.
Lea: really? And its tomorrow?
Joen: yeah and I have to go get some groceries to prepare for Dog and his foreign friend.
Before he grab his bag then teleport outside, he is stop by T.J.
T.J: yo, Joen don't be too fancy onto Nicol and his foreign gal, he told ya it is just a short visit to ran at each other right?
Joen: oh please T.J there's a foreign girl visiting to my amusement park, I wanted to impress her and give her the fun for her to enjoy. I may not know her and what she likes but I bet she is a friendly, fun and kind lady to have explore to my amusement park and my circus.
T.J tried to stops him suddenly he disappear in thin air which everyone went back to what they are doing.
On a different mansion, a man in a black military silver armoured like suit walking through the halls carrying a tray of treats and a teapot filled with warm milk mix with honey. The man is wearing a pure black and silver doberman dog mask as he arrived to a door decorated in white, black, pink and red with a name tag hanging at the door written in a fancy cursive. The masked dog knock the door before coming inside to look at the mysterious female figure sitting at a elegant tea party table decorated in white and red and shades of pink roses at a vase to complete a empty but fancy looking room. The room belongs to a mysterious girl whose room was very simple and plain white except there are design which gives a simple design of this room, it was decorated the same color; the whole room was white with a hint of black edges with beautiful detail, a red and pink curtains, a tea party table, a desk filled with art materials, a lovely whimsical wooden bed painted in black with white curtains and red and pink bed sheets and pillows along with a stuff bunny laying at the bed.
The man wearing the dog mask put the treats which is chocolate cookies and pour warm milk with honey in a teacup as he offers the mysterious girl who keeps looking straight at the window in silence.
???: don't worry dollface. It will be quick and you can eat there as much as you like. Any type of food to satisfy your hunger, alright?
The man said patting the girls head gently not to mess with her hair as her head move to his direction before grabbing the teacup to get a single sip of the milk mix with honey. The man in a dog mask already notice her aura was very blue, he could feel it is because he had know her in just 4 years only. He kept patting her head to comfort her.
Tumblr media
???: I'm sure he would be happy to see you, but please don't be empty inside dollface.
???: ......
To be continue.....

if you look into it, cm punk has a looooot of history, and most of it is being antagonistic or antihero-esque. that history isn't going to go away, it exists. he's been gone for a long time, though, and now that he's back, we don't really know what parts of that history cm punk is still willing to draw from*, or what kind of story he wants to tell or whatever. so looking at what we've seen in aew so far...
we have eddie call punk out for being a low-life scumbag two-faced narcissistic bitch (LMAO). attention audience! this nice mild-mannered older dude is not what he seems! eddie is the realest guy around and you'd be a fool to not pay attention to what he says, but his credibility is affected by the fact that he is a hothead with a lot of personal baggage and is constantly getting himself in trouble. (it is a shame we only got 1 backstage bit, 1 promo, 1 ppv match between these two but boy were they good) (btw eddie rules)
cm punk's entire feud with mjf was basically about how mjf was deeply inspired by ring of honor-era cm punk and his work from back then, and how disappointed mjf was that punk is standing around with his edges rounded off, being all soft, pretending to be a good guy when he's doing non-good guy stuff under the table. why bother being two-faced? cut out the middleman, be evil! but, you know, mjf is also a heel, and thus is a very unreliable narrator, so we don't know how much we should trust about what he is saying. the two of them also spend most of their feud quoting roh-era punk promos back and forth between each other (lmao) so all that material is very much "in consideration."
hangman's deal was that he didnt respect or trust punk to be a good champion, he thought punk was full of pettiness and cowardice and acted differently when (he thought) nobody was looking. in their last face-to-face promo, hangman threatened to unmask punk for who he was (a Bad Guy), but decide against it because he doesn't want to stoop to doing the same hateful petty things cm punk is known for doing. He's better than that. hangman said with bigtime conviction that he loves AEW, he cares about this place because its his home, and that he wouldn't be defending the championship from punk but rather all of AEW from him! why say this...?
cm punk's original summer of punk moment was him winning the roh championship, revealing that he played everyone for a fool, and that he hated their guts, and was going to take the ROH championship title away from everyone by bringing it with him to wwe. he mocked the promotion by signing his wwe contract on the title! and if nobody could defeat him in time to take the title back, it'd be lost forever!! real villain stuff. a lot of disrespect!! a similar thing happened in wwe too, with the world title and punk's contract expiring.
hangman wanted to stop the aew title from gettin' into the hands of a guy who, traditionally, turned on everyone the moment he got a big championship title. but he had to choose between having to win dirty or lose clean, and he made his sacrifice. (if punk was in that situation, would he make that same choice? probably not!! )
now punk's the champion. now what? is he going to instantly turn on us now, like history repeating itself? will he keep hiding it as long as he can, until someone pulls his mask off? or is punk a changed man, a good guy now, like how he's been claiming? will he stay that way, or have a fall from grace, tempted back into his old habits?
if he's gonna be a genuine good guy, he's going to have to fight his own legacy every step of the way and prove it over and over.
Tumblr media
listen. look. i need you to understand. look at this.
SLOUCHED. HANDS BEHIND HIS BACK. HEAD BENT DOWN. cm punk spends most of his promo at this point AVOIDING EYE CONTACT. he never even holds the goddamn mic!!! punk is posturing SO hard to appear as a small harmless creature. so much smaller than hangman.
which he factually ISNT. i mean, look at how he looks when he stands up straight, when he isn't trying to put on an appearance.
Tumblr media
its offensive when you know someone is so transparently trying to be deceptive right to your face. but the difference between genuine and fake is so minute, so subtle, its hard to describe and point out without looking like youre nitpicking. if you know then you Know. if you don't, then you fall for the trick. and let me tell you, the number of people who can tell the difference are in the minority.
punk saying "i dont know why youre taking this so personally, why are you being so defensive for No Reason :/?" while displaying all these infrared DANGER flags to hangman, and then we have tony schiavone going "seems like theres a lot of respect here!" LMAO
hangman page is the AEW champion and hes the underdog here. can you believe that? the crowd is cheering for beloved supercelebrity cm punk. in this promo, he said he wanted to beat punk at his own game (talking) and he fuckin LOST. he tried to be the better man and he got PLAYED.

Eden Hazard and Chelsea woes, Mohamed Salah’s struggles – Premier League 10 THINGS WE LEARNED
Liverpool jumped Manchester City at the top of the table after beating Fulham 2-1 in Craven Cottage.
The champions were in FA Cup action so have a game in hand while Chelsea got a blow in their top four hopes with a defeat at Everton .
program & # 39; s …
Here, AMITAI WINEHOUSE judges 10 things we learned from the last round of
Graeme Souness & # 39; Eden Hazard warning was right
That contributed to Goodison Park – a ground Hazard has failed to score all seven of his Premier League appearances there.
Many Chelsea managers relied on the Belgian, but only a few had the alleged philosophy of the Italian. Blessing is right – it is now clear that Hazard has worn Chelsea this season.
There has been talk of beating three times through Liverpool, that they no longer connect well. Fulham showed that at least two work well.
After his cross for Sadio Mane on Sunday, Roberto Firmino & # 39; s last seven Premier League assistants were Mohamed Salah or Mane, which shows that they still have that brilliant insight.
If they don't win the competition, it has little to do with Mane and Firmino – who has always been more creator than finisher.
Roberto Firmino & # 39; s last seven division assistants are Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane
Mohamed Salah must drop focus on individual issues] But Salah, on a personal level, clearly struggles and tries to resolve it in the wrong way.
He is clearly desperate to end a series of seven games without a goal, but there are ways to do that.
The Egyptian plays too individualist. [Edit] The Egyptian plays too individualist. He must be reminded that that team is more important than his own. That comes with time.
David from Gea proves that he is priceless for Manchester United without even playing
David de Gea did not have the best time against Arsenal, but his importance for Manchester United was emphasized in the Wolves game. but Sergio Romero just remains that – a backup. De Gea would probably have achieved both of Wolves' goals with those extremely talented legs.
Romero cannot be accused, but this is a lesson for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Following Real Madrid, De Gea is priceless if United wants silverware.
David De Gea would probably have saved both of Wolves' goals with those extremely talented legs
Time to worry, Liverpool. Manchester City is in the habit of being overwhelmed when they fall behind in surprising games, but Swansea saw them fall to two target tent to win for the first time under Pep Guardiola
This somehow adds incredible more strings on their bow.
One point behind in the Premier League, this is another sign that they will not be stopped easily.
They had a capacity, on Saturday, to continue when things get tough. ]
Richarlison shows that he is an asset with room to grow
He now has 12 Premier League goals and he has 12 Premier League goals in his career. Only three players have beaten more in the league in their first season in Everton, with Andrei Kanchelskis, Yakubu and Romelu Lukaku getting 15 each.
The best thing is that he is only 21. He will get better. Everton has an asset to build on.
The international Brazilian took power in the roof of the net
When Huddersfield signed Karlan Grant, it seemed like recognition that the relegation would just come and the solution was to plan for next season.
Instead, it has offered an opportunity for a 21-year-old to show his worth in the top flight, and if he retains his form, he may not reach the championship.
Incredibly, he's also Charlton & # 39; s after nine goals in the first half of the season. Score a few more and it is worth a Premier League game to grab a punt in the summer.
Let's not pretend that the London Stadium is no longer the home of West Ham.
