grew up in a very unconventional family model — her parents were friends with benefits who decided to remain strictly platonic after lauren was, well, more than just an idea floating around in the air and coparented her extremely peacefully. she spent the majority of the time with her mom and maternal grandpa, who had a big deal in raising her & was something like a role model of hers growing up that she wanted to follow in the footsteps of

her grandpa was a retired, well-known attorney and she derived her work ethic straight from him, worked her ass off in school with the goal of someday being a hotshot lawyer. total perfectionist. total disaster. burned out by the time she made it a few years into stanford’s law school program and just couldn’t do It anymore

Okay so I read almost everything from your masterlist and I'm speechless! Tell me when are you publishing a book so I can start saving money to buy it. I've a question, which of your OC's and Harry's would be a swiftie? I love Miss Swift myself so it's an important question. From what I've gathered,

Mia would be the greatest swiftie. She has all the lyrics memorized and has multiple TS playlists. She's definitely a 1989 stan and no I'll not offer any explanation. She's obsessed with TS to the point where Harry worries that if she could, she would definitely leave him for her which is super sexy of her. Harry isn't too fond of TS but tolerates her for Mia's sake.

I haven't read Fine Line for two reasons, 1. I know it's gonna break my heart and I'm not emotionally ready for it. 2. It has a threesome and they make me uncomfortable so I don't read anything with threesome in it, my sincerest apologies.

Saffiya doesn't seem like someone who would enjoy Miss Swift's music. I can see Harry listening to some of her songs, especially Folklore and Evermore (I'm leaning more towards Evermore though)

Fleur's Harry is a die hard Swiftie and Mia and he are attending her concerts together, belting out the lyrics to all her songs. His favourite album would either be Lover or Reputation, I don't have any justification to offer. Fleur doesn't like her music but tolerates it because she loves Harry. I can see Fleur and Mia's Harry being dragged by their respective partners to any TS concert and despite their apprehensions they both go because they're whipped! For some reason I see Fleur as a Halsey stan. Why? Because Halsey writes badass songs and Fleur is a badass. I bet she knows the lyrics to all her songs and she screams them out when she's home alone because she doesn't want anyone else to see her in this way. When Harry discovers this, he makes fun of her but quickly shuts up when she threatens to chop off his baby maker because he knows she's fully capable of doing it and he doesn't want to live the rest of his life sexless.

I'm unclear about Serena and Harry so I'm gonna leave that upto you to decide.

I don't see Miriam and Harry listening to TS actively. They've listened to couple of her songs which they like but they're not her fans/stans.

Yasmine's Harry likes her music but he's an Evermore stan, I said what I said. I don't see him liking pop or country music. I'm undecided about Yasmine.

Nisha's Harry also loves TS. He's been to her concerts and plans on doing it again with Nisha. His favourite album I would say is either Fearless or Lover. He plays You Belong With Me a lot just to annoy Nisha. She pretends to hate it but secretly loves it.

i know watching the makings of like this is why we can’t have nice things and getaway car, i love their dry humor and ongoing bit, i feel like i vibe with that lol. and i looove lover so much, i dreamed of wearing a lovery outfit to my first concert 😭 i was actually gonna see her and halsey for the first time but covid cancelled it. i woke up super early and did the capital one thing to get 4 tickets bc i wanted my brother and his wife or my other brother and his bf to go with us and i was so excited i was already planning on wearing a tie dye long sleeve crop top and acid wash shorts and converse, like i had it all planned out 😭

deku vs kacchan part 2 is my favorite ep of the entire series actually. i’ve watch that ep so many times as well it’s just perfect. i got into them when i watched that episode actually! the voice acting god..... literally shivers. now that i think about it it might even be my favorite anime ep of all time help. i just love how bakugou lets it all out and we get to see that side of him.. the insecure scared child he tries to hide. god i could ramble about it forever idk just love it. OH YOU WATCHED THE MOVE RIGHT AFTER? a scene with bakugou and todoroki is guaranteed a good time.. and they work so well together. haha that’s such a nice coincidence tho their dynamic is great in that movie even if it’s mostly kiribaku sjsksjk. what do you think about kiribaku btw?

First Impression: It’s more chill than I was expecting! I went ahead to check out a couple of songs I recognized. I def know the one with Selena Gomez (love a dance/pop track now and then) and the one with Conrad Sewell (an Aussie!!). Yeah, overall surprised by how much more mellow his stuff is than I was imagining.

Do I like it?: I do!

Would I listen to more from them?: Probably not something I’d seek out, but I think I’d keep him on if he came up in my spotify shuffle or on the radio! Would be fun on a pre-gaming playlist (ah, remember the good ol days of going OUT? DOING things? Dancing on a DANCEFLOOR in PUBLIC??)

Do I like it?: Very much so.

Would I listen to more from them?: I think I would! But I think I’d have to be in a specific mood for them. Ideally in that cabin in the woods.

Do I like it?: Heck yeah

Would I listen to more from them?: Definitely. I want more Santigold on Good Girls too, please? (I’m certain you’re reading this, Jonathan Leahy.)

I chose this song bc it’s abbout being sad, but the tone is upbeat and happy. Something I’ve noticed abt Tim is that he is (usually) functionally depressed. Like, I read an article about high functioning depression, and it said that a lot of people who have it have a hole in their life – that they can have a job (and Tim does, being either CEO or Red Robin or both), a partner (who I like to think of as Kon), and be part of a family, maintaining this happy/upeat facade, but if you ask them what they do for fun…they usually can’t answer that. And I don’t think Tim can. When he was younger, he could, but what now?

I chose this bc I can picture Tim, during a low moment like when Kon or Bruce died, just falling apart and thinking he’s not going to survive it, isn’t strong enough, had something to do with their deaths happening,,, etc. Also there’s a line that references anxiety and like lmao that’s Tim!

Actually upon looking at the lyrics again, it’s both YJ and Batman & Robin. It just encompasses Tim’s early days of being a hero I think, the happy carefree nature and the bravery and the hope

Tbh I mostly chose this bc its a bop and I think he would sing along to it. BUT I also think this kind of represents his life as a public figure/celeb??? Also it talks about lying a lot???? I’m sorry, I don’t have a good analysis for this one lmao

I chose this bc it reminded me of Tim and Dick. I’m of the opinion that Tim getting fired from Robin was the right choice and that Dick wasn’t being cruel or anything like that at all, but I also think that Tim probably saw it that way which is valid. So it’s like, to him, Dick was his big brother who was basically always there for him, and then suddenly… he’s not. And everything else going on in his life starts to suck dramatically, and not having his big brother makes it worse, and he feels betrayed. Meanwhile Dick really is on his side, life is just also terrible for him too so they can’t be as close as they were when Tim was Robin. It can also be about Bruce or Kon tbh – just, wanting one of them to be there and they’re not.

This…. I chose this bc I really love the celebrity versions of the Bats, and also how competent Tim can be, and this song brings both of those together. Lol this could also be like…what other people think the Bats/Tim think like?? “Don’t play with me, I’m rich and will fuck you up” kinda thing. This is one of the ones that fits less well than the others but I still get Tim vibes from it so I’m keeping it

I get the feeling that after bad shit happens to Tim, he feels the way this song shows. I haven’t read much YJ so I can’t be sure, but I get the feeling that Tim, no matter what the truth is, feels like he’s alone and there’s no one who will help him. Obviously that can be tied back to his childhood and how he had to take care of himself, and so when there are people who actually do wanna help him he doesn’t see it?? And he’s down on himself so he’s probably thinking “they don’t want to help me, and I can’t blame them”

Okay not so much the drinking aspect of this song but EVERYTHING ELSE. I even used one of the lyrics for a fic title. Basically my thoughts here are: 1) everyone looks to the Robins and sees how much they do and it’s just A Lot, 2) Tim knows Jason died and so he probably thinks that’s in his future too even if Dick survived, and 3) Tim is doing a lot and feeling a lot and trying to protect himself and his feelings, which is hard work especially for someone so young

Again,,,, the Competence. I love that shit. I love BAMF!Bats, and tbh I think this could apply to more than just Tim, but I picked it for him bc of the first lyric!! This is also one of those ones that doesn’t fit super well but djkhfjkdshah I think this could really fit an AU Tim where he’s like. More morally gray. Not necessarily a bad guy but just more confident, more arrogant maybe, and more jaded from the hero-ing life

Okay I think this fits a lot of different things: his actions after Kon’s death, his and Damian’s relationship, the lies he’s told (to ppl like Steph, his dad, Tam?), his relationship with Bruce maybe?? I can also see it as him thinking on who he was as a kid – a stalker basically lmao, but ultimately harmless – versus who he is now – a skilled vigilante who’s definitely not harmless. Stark difference there. Also he’s forgiving himself, which is something I think is important for somebody with a low self view

Really, I think this is all just what he’s thinking, and NOT what he’s saying. He needs the reassurance, yes, but he’s not actually asking for it because he doesn’t know how

When I first added this to his playlist I somehow didn’t realize it was about a murderer but dkjfhkjshjkah whatever I’m keeping it. I think the happy sound hiding the less pretty truth is something that explains Tim a lot. Also its a bop and he might sing along to it

Okay, so.. My lovely friend @schizoauthoress issued me a challenge last night in a post they made. I was DYING to leap on this last night - listen, if I get ANY chance to ramble about writing/characters, best believe I’m taking it, but alas, I’d gone to bed. But, today’s a new day.

Booze (Part 3)

Nikki Sixx x Reader

Summary: Your band has been touring with Mötley Crüe for over two months now and you and the boys are on really good terms because you are always down for some trouble. Especially the bass player and you are getting along really well. After a show you run into your mother and her newest boyfriend and in the end of it you find yourself drinking on the roof of your hotel as suddenly Nikki joins you. As he refuses to leave, you both stay up there the whole night, talking about your demons. After you wake up on the next day, you leave and ask Nikki to forget everything and not to tell anyone. On the same day, you start to flirt with Vince to forget what had happened but shortly after that Nikki gets jealous and you end up making out with him and heading to his hotel room.

As Nikki and you stumbled out of the dark and smoky club, your bra was unlocked and his belt was opened. All the way out, Nikki had always turned around to steal another hungry kiss from your lips, touching you with his warm, lustful hands and driving you crazy.

You weren’t able to think properly. The only thing on your mind was the fact that you wanted the black haired bass player more than ever. And you didn’t hesitate from letting him know. With every touch and every kiss, the tension got a little stronger and the desire was almost too much for you to take.

Nikki had one arm around your waist, carassing your bare skin with his long fingers. His touch was light as a feather but you felt the electricity going on between the two of you.

You tilted your head to look into his eyes and a shiver went down your spine as you saw that they were dark and filled with lust. Then you looked down on his pink lips. They were swollen and his mouth was opened a little. His heavy breaths brushed your face.

You couldn’t stand the tension any longer, so you kissed him again and he moaned against your lips as your hand went down to the bulge in his pants that had gotten way bigger since you had kissed him in front of the restrooms.

“If you don’t stop doing this I’m gonna fuck you right here on the spot.”, Nikki mumbled against your lips with a rhaspy voice, barely able to bring out the whole sentence.

You leaned back a little and smirked. You knew him well enough to know that he was a man that did what he said he would do.

“Well, Sixx”, you whispered and he let out a hiss as you put your hand right on his bulge, “Call a goddamn cab or stay true to your words.”

His brows clenched together a bit as he stepped back, put his fingers in his mouth and let out a loud whistle. Then he put his arm up to stop a cab. While doing it, his eyes didn’t let go of you.

It felt like the time stood still for a few seconds. All the people in front of the club, all the cars and all the noises just disappeared and there were only him and you and his eyes told you everything you needed to know.

A cab stopped right next to you and you looked away. One second later, Nikki was by your side, opening the door for you. You were a little confused about it because he usually wasn’t a gentleman but you went with it and got into the car. All of a sudden, you felt a little slap on your ass and you flinched a little, but then you smirked. That was the Nikki you knew.

You sat down in the backseat and watched Nikki as he walked around the cap. In these few moments, you realized what you were doing: you were about to have sex with the one guy you wanted to stay away from. And maybe it was the alcohol and the drugs in your blood that made you go with him but there was a bigger chance that it was the fact that a little part of you really liked Nikki for what he had done for you. So you stayed instead of going back into the club, even though going back would have been the better decision.

Nikki sat down next to you and told the adress of the hotel to the driver. His voice was firmer now and the way he spoke made clear that he wanted to be at the hotel as fast as possible.

“We should be at the hotel in ten minutes.”, Nikki told you and closed the little window between the frontseat and the backseat. You nodded, unsure what to do. If this would have been a limousine, you would have kissed Nikki by now because the partition wall would have been dark. But this was a cab, so the wall was made of glass and even though the driver wasn’t able to hear you, he still saw you. And as you looked up, you saw that he was watching you in the rearview mirror. He must have recognized who Nikki was and who you were. And if you kissed Nikki now, the news would be spread all across the country by the next morning.

Nikki had recognized it too. Even though he looked at you like he wanted to rip off all of your clothes, he didn’t get too close to you. He knew that the last thing you needed now was another big newspaper article about you. The one about your mum was bad enough. And although you kind of wanted him to kiss you anyway, you were thankful that he didn’t do it.

All the way to the hotel, you stared out of the window and tried to ignore Nikki’s hungry eyes that were watching all of your moves. In your head, pictures of all the things you wanted to do with Nikki spinned ‘round and 'round, making you feel the heat that was building up in your lower stomach.

Soon, you didn’t watch the streets outside of the cab, but Nikki’s reflection in the window. He was biting his lip now, scanning your whole body with his blue-green eyes and it almost drove you to insanity. With every passing minute, you wanted Nikki more and more.

As the cap finally reached the hotel, you were pressing your legs together because the burning feeling inside of you had gotten much stronger.

You almost jumped out of the car and headed to one of the entraces at the side of the hotel with fast steps. You didn’t want to meet anyone in the lobby. You didn’t look back, but you knew that Nikki was following close behind you, not taking his eyes off of you.

The hallway behind the door you had opened was dark and small because usually, it was only accessible for the hotel staff. Your steps were a little too loud as you walked through it, the noise that was coming from the streets was almost unhearable.

The door closed behind you and you knew that Nikki had entered the hotel now, too. You still weren’t looking back, trying to tease Nikki a little by ignoring him.

But Nikki Sixx was a man that wasn’t easy to ignore. And if he wanted your attention, he did everything to get it.

Sleeping next to Nikki on the roof had felt so good and his arms had made you feel kind of save. But still, another part of you knew that staying would cause nothing but problems. Things always were different in the morning and Nikki probably wouldn’t even remember that he had asked you to stay.

“I’ll go and clean myself up a bit.”, you mumbled without looking at Nikki. Going to the bathroom would give you a few minutes to decide if you should stay or not.

Nikki nodded and let go of your wrist and you stood up and slowly walked to the bathroom, trying not to stumble over the clothes that were spread all over the floor.

As you clothed the door of the bathroom, you leaned against it for a few seconds and took a few deep breaths. Then you walked over to a little closet and got a clean towell out of it.

While cleaning yourself up, you thought about the pros and cons of staying. There weren’t many pros: just the fact that you enjoyed Nikki’s company and that it felt good not to be alone. But there were many cons: the morning after, all of the rules you had made for youself and that you had followed strictly since you had been 15 years old and again, the fact that you enjoyed Nikki’s company, because this man - and men in general - were nothing but trouble and heartache and getting to like Nikki would be the death of you.

Still, as you got out of the bathroom again and saw Nikki lying on the bed underneath the blanket, his arms crossed behind his back and looking at your naked body with something in his eyes that almost looked like adoration, you walked up to him and sat down on the rim of the bed. Because after all of what had happened, you still were stupid enough to make bad decisions.

Nikki smiled at you and pulled you closer, wrapping his arms around you. Hookups don’t do stuff like this, you thought and you couldn’t help but feel the panic building up inside of you.

It got even worse as you rested your head on Nikki’s chest while he started to carass your back. It felt way too good. And even though it was the reason you panicked, it made you relax way too fast.

You tried to calm yourself down and told yourself that Nikki just did this because he was still drunk and that you just liked it because nobody had ever held you in their arms like that and it worked a little, but then Nikki started to talk again and you tensed up.

“I don’t want you to have sex with anyone but me.”, he whispered into the darkness and you bit your lips and pressed your eyelids together to surpress the feelings that tried to take you over. “Please promise me that I will be the only one who will be allowed to touch you like this.”

Deep inside, you wanted to comply, even though you didn’t want to accept that. But you said nothing at all and acted like you had fallen asleep. You would never be able to keep that promise, even if you would’ve wanted to. And Nikki Sixx had already gotten way too close to you. You couln’t let him get even closer. It would not only destroy you, but also him.

And that was the reason that you waited until he had fallen asleep, slowly breathing with his heart beating regulary. Then, you carefully grabbed his arms and shoved them aside so you were able to get up, ignoring the huge lumb in your throat.

You quietly paced through the room, collected all of your clothes and put them on again, unable to look at Nikki.

As you opened the door, you looked back at him and swallowed hard. It was right to leave - it was neccessary so both you wouldn’t get even deeper into it. Then why did it feel like the wrongest thing you had ever done in your life?
