it happens to all of us. 4pm rolls around and the kids have sports and music lessons and dinner has to get made and if the baby stays up past 7 he's a mess and you look at the clock, and you look at your partner, and you sigh and say you can't wait til the kids are in bed. but sometimes you stumble onto an old picture and you wonder where the time went. weren't we all just little? day dreaming about what we would become when we "grew up" what our lovers would look like, what having babies would feel like, what it would be like to hold them in our arms. humanity is a mess of laws and money and rules about who can love who, which god is best. and one day you look up and so much of your life has been lived. your babies have been born. your money trickles away every day, every month. all these earthly things that take us away from experiencing the joy of being with the people we love. Arthur is almost 1. Jack is almost 10. and if I close my eyes really tight I can still remember playing alone in my bedroom with my baby dolls, dreaming of these days. my little tiny dimpled hands cradling a plastic dream. how do we make the best of this life as we struggle and struggle and struggle on? so I just take a breath. play in the grass for an extra 10 minutes with my kids before bed. snuggle my husband for just one more minute before he goes off to work. savor the 345am feeding. try, desperately (and fail more often than not), to realize what a gift THEY are. and remember that the rest is just bullshit. #getabloglady #blahblahblah #deepthoughtsthursday #isthatathing

So I've been thinking, limbs are like bumpers for the human body. I mean really, like we technically don't need them but they protect us and they are nice to have. Just as a bumper car doesn't need bumpers to run, it's a necessity. Arms not only protect our torso from hits and bumping into things, they also mentally protect us. I mean humans as we know them have 4 limbs and anything less gets questioned and judged. We are protected if we have all 4 of our bumpers:) okay that's the end of my ridiculous rant, any questions please ask;)

Think about it, the highway is like a real life pinball machine. Cars are spit into the game, and leave at different slots. You have to pay a certain amount to play (tolls). Sometimes the players will hit obstacles. Most of the time when you hit an obstacle you get a second chance to start again. Sometimes if your that unlucky player you loose and don't get a redo.
