happy wincest wednesday!! deanna ask<33. do you think anything about s6 happens differently in the het version? or maybe s9/10?
yayyyy happy wincest wednesday, a day Deanna gets to shine <3
I mean the first thing that I think is true is that Deanna is staying with uhh Mark, the hot dude she hooked up with way back when Sam was at Stanford, and Mark's got a kid from a failed relationship with a past woman and Deanna learns to make pretty good meatballs and stir fry and tomato rice soup from scratch when little Ben is sick, and it's actually a lot harder for her to leave than it was for Dean.
But Sam's back and she has to go -- has to, even if she tells Mark that it's just a quick hunt to help and she'll be back for Ben's soccer game on Saturday -- and the break-up with Mark happens a lot faster and is a LOT more painful than the one with Lisa because Sam talks his way into her panties on that very first solo hunt together, when they're alone after the Campbells go their own way, and in her life Deanna has never ever thought of herself as a cheater but it's -- Sam, and his mouth tastes the same and his hands are finally the right size on her jaw when he drags her in close and he's the right weight between her thighs, lying heavy on her hips, at last, after the last year (and more) of missing him. He rolls off the bed quick after but she hardly notices at first that something's off because the sheer relief is too much for her to notice anything else at all, and it's not until she's showering, after, that the random thought pops into her head that she was going to pick up a 24-pack of Gatorade for the kids before the game, and then she realizes that she's got to tell Mark. She's got to. It's not fair, otherwise.
When Cas finally reveals that Sam's soulless she doesn't beat him up -- physically can't, for one thing, especially not now that he's gone all greek god -- but she walks out of the room and gets into the car and knows that from Calumet City to Battle Creek where Mark and Ben are living now is two and a half hours, and two hours if she ignores traffic laws, and she thinks about it -- she thinks about walking in and hugging Ben and taking Mark into the bedroom that she'd barely started to unpack before the breakup and going to her knees and saying how sorry she was, and how she'd never meant to be this way, and could she come back, please, could she crawl back into their bed and have the good boring sex they had and could she try again to make his mom's recipe for cinnamon rolls and could she teach Ben how to repair a carburetor, and get it right this time, and raise a kid who wouldn't crack her heart in half, wouldn't make her want to lay down and never get up again for the sheer enormity of what loving him did to her. How impossible it was to exist under the weight of it.
Then she gets back out of the car and goes back up to where Cas is finishing up his examination of Sam and she tells Cas to leave the room and she tells Sam that they're done, until he gets fixed. "I feel fine," Sam says. "Nothing about this is fine," Deanna says, and his eyes skip from her eyes to her mouth to her tits and then he shrugs, turns away and puts his belt back on, like so what. Like, fine, he'd get it somewhere else and it didn't matter. Deanna goes outside to where Cas is awkwardly waiting and thinks that whoever did this, whoever bifurcated her brother and removed all the best parts of him, she will find that person and destroy them to the last atom, if it's the last thing she does. (Cas looks from her face to the door beyond which Sam's waiting, and disappears.)

Coming home late doesn't keep Dean...Okay P2
Summary : PART 1 After the fight with Dean, another fight comes your way. It's different this time, though.
Warnings : just a bit of angst
A/N : yall babies asked and yall babies shall receive.
Tumblr media
----
"You were a small second away from getting yourself killed, lily. And i was a minute away from the building, you could've yelled and i would've come to help."
Dean's spitting fire and you're....you're just faintly swinging your foot in silence. You're not really scared of him, you just-looking at him and at his vibrating throat, his reddened cheeks and his sewn-together eyebrows, it feels like you can't predict his next move-
"Oh now you stay quiet, huh? You're too good at making things worse, lily" With the end of his sentence, Dean takes a step forward and your adrenaline kicks in, causing you to slide to the side, gripping Sam's shirt as you hide behind him.
The eldest stops in his tracks, and his eyes widen. "You're trying to turn my brother against me now?"
What?! No. No. No no no no. That's not what you're trying to do-What the fuck-
"Sam, move." Dean's tone is determined. And you grip Sam's shirt harder, but he betrays you, moving away.
"I'm sorry, honey." Sam takes a tiny step to the side and turns to you, causing your heart to skip a beat. The betrayal... "It seems that....we've no other options-you're out of control. I can't even understand why you're doing this-"
"Why did you have to make it worse, lily, i'm so exhausted-you're so tiring-you-you could've just said something, kid-I" Dean exhales.
"Well-you said i was out as soon as i did something so...i didn't say anything." Your words cause his mouth to open, violently.
His head sways lightly. "Are you s-Just-i can't have you in my face right now-lily." He shakes his head and turns his back to you-your little heart stings "I'm going for a beer. You deal with her." Dean terminates the conversation, heading for the door.
------
Tumblr media
Your heart skips a tiny beat.
Tumblr media
Your thumb ghostly hovers over the keyboard. Should i....fuck it.
"I'm kinda sick. Come to my room."
A gentle knock causes your body to sniffen and as a nervous cough scratches at your throat, you tell Dean to come in.
You sit back straight, keeping your gaze down in an avoidant manner before picking up a pillow and throwing it over your thighs. You knead it a bit too hard-poor thing is paying for your anxiety.
"You-That was such an infuriating thing you did, lily."
A deep sigh leaves your lips and your stomach tightens. Here we go again.
"You were this close-" Dean brings his thumb and index out, leaving only a tiny distance between them. "This close to ending up cremated-"
You blow out a deeper sigh. "Dean, you said not to bother you anymore-so i didn't. It's that easy-"
"What do you mean, kid?" He takes a step towards you, and irritation gets more and more lucid in his tone. "That's not what i mean-You need my help. You call me. I come running."
"But you said if i mess up ag-"
"Kid, you need my help. You call me. I come running. That. Is. It." Your brother says through gritted teeth.
And you don't dare look up. You get what he wants to say but-
"You just-you should've came to me. I would rather yell at you than you putting yourself in danger over things like this."
"But you said-"
"I know what i said, Lily" He pinched the top of his nose. "And you damn well know i didn't mean it." Hi lifts his head up and you drop your gaze down again. As angry as you are, his words send warmth through you. But with all the fights and everything, things got a little bit fuzzy for you and you're not sure how your brother feels about you anymore.
And when you realize he's stepping closer to your side of the bed, you grip the pillow tighter.
"You can't put yourself in danger just because i yelled at you."
You shrug and knead your poor victom a bit more, unsure of what to say. You can't really say much. Everything happened so fast and you-
Dean leans down over you and you flinch, causing him to freeze for a quick moment and recover just as quick. He plants a kiss on your forehead and gets back up. "I'm sorry."
Still frozen, you wait for him to leave for you to finally blow a breath out. You haven't breathed for a while but....it's finally going to get better between you and Dean?

“Come one mi neña” Mapí yelled in your ear next to you on the spanish bench where you were wedged between her and Misa Rodriguez “Cheer Alexia on”
“I rather shoot meself in me foot” you grumbled sinking deeper into the seat hoping no one would recognise you or even worse take pictures of you
“Por que?” Mapí asked hyped up
You didn't even bother to answer just threw a dirty look her way huffing annoyed
“What's wrong with mi neña?” the tattooed spaniard nudged you lightly
“Fuck off María” you exploded in her face before standing up moving to the end of the bench
“What did you do Mapí?” Misa asked confused as you pushed yourself past her quite aggressively
“Nothing... I don't know what's wrong with the neña... I swear she's normally very nice...” Mapí looked after you confused
“Can't believe they did that to me” you grumbled more to yourself than anyone sporting the darkest look you've ever did when your phone vibrated in your pocket and you took it out to find a message from your sister
“If you look any darker you could rule the death star”... very funny Lucy” you looked around just to find your face on the big stadium screen
“Oh fuck me” you groaned loudly as you threw up your arms annoyed which made several heads turn your way
“What?” you snapped aggressively towards the spanish bench and most players went back to mind their business – most. Next thing you know you were flanked by Ona and Mapí.
“Talk to me Bebita” Ona said softly
“You let them... go away... all of you” you sneered and your sisters girlfriend immediately saw that there was no use in trying to get you to talk
“Come on Maps...” the young spaniard said and pulled her teammate away which you were very thankful for
“Come on Kyra... get more into the 1v1” you yelled loudly from right next to the bench still wearing Jennis warm up shirt “Don't be scared of that lanky spaniard”
“I thought I was sexy spaniard” Jenni said confused a minute later as she came to pick up the ball for a throw in
“Right now you are I-hate-you-spaniard” you growled at her and to her sadness she didn't have time to clear out anything that was going on with you
“Hayley.... HAY.... to Sam!” you yelled again as you saw Sam Kerr running with Hayley completely open and seconds later there was a goal – for Australia.
The pure shock and horror and betrayal on the spanish faces where enough for you to sit back down on their bench smiling proudly
“Nena...” Mapí whimpered next to you looking at you like a kicked puppy
“Sí?” you sing-songed happily
“How... how could you??” the tattooed spaniard looked at you hurt
“Hurts when someone does something you don't like doesn't it??” you looked her straight in the eye until she looked away
“Cariño...” Alexia walked over to you smiling widely while you were occupied consoling the Australian players
“Go away Putellas” you barked and threw her a dirty look that made the blonde stop dead in her tracks staring at you lost
“You played amazing Ky...” you said softly as you crouching next to her squeezing the young Australians shoulder “... you really rocked that mids...”
“Y/n...” Alexia said sternly after Mapí quickly talked to her and walked off again “.... a word?”
“Not now” you looked at her darkly
“Oh but I mean now...” the blonde spaniard said and pulled you up and away from Kyra
“Hey!” you exclaimed getting pissed as the spanish captain
“No...” Alexia said sternly pulling you into the tunnel before stopping and turning to you “You tell me right now why you are so... unfair”
“Unfair??? You say I'm unfair?” you said bewildered
“Mapí told me the first goal from Australia was your doing?!” the blonde argued with you
“And? You won... congratulations.. Olympic Gold Medallist... woohoo... you did it again – another title under your belt” you said angrily
“What is this about Cari?” Alexia said softly after a second
“Did you even consider that I didn't wear that Australian Jersey to support Australia but to support a friend... a young player who played her first Olympics AND Final? That I wore that Jersey to just show SOME support to friends...?” you looked at Alexia getting thrown off by her softness
“Aren't we friends too?” the blonde asked smiling softly
“No you aren't” you said your voice strong as you turned around walking towards the pitch again letting a confused and hurt Alexia behind “... you are family”

im procrastinating again so im gonna talk about SAMS Eclipse, and more specifically why he didn't anticipate Lunar betraying him
Cos like, from an outside perspective it's a logical progression, right? Eclipse acted nice(ish) at first, told Lunar what he thought would make Lunar agree to help. As he got more frustrated about the lack of progress, he started taking it out on Lunar, who as a result started leaning on Monty as someone that was still being nice to him. That culminated in Eclipse and Lunar's fight, where Lunar said 'fuck this I'm out' and swapped with Moon.
(Honestly? I don't know if Eclipse ever meant to reset the universe to make everything 'better', or if that was just what he thought Lunar would accept as a long-term goal)
So it seems weird that Eclipse never saw the potential for betrayal coming. He didn't suspect Lunar would side with Moon to the point that he didn't even question "Lunar" knowing magic and their stupid one-upsmanship thing right after Moon took back control.
But take a step back for a bit. Up until that October, Eclipse never had the freedom of his own body. He was a passenger, watching someone else's lives and occasionally climbing into the driver's seat whenever he could take the wheel.
And whose lives was he watching? Who was Eclipse's only example of a sibling relationship?
Eclipse never anticipated Lunar turning on him because Sun never turned on Moon.
Moon used Sun for experiments, verbally abused him, punched him in the face-- and Sun forgave him for it. Sun weathered the worst parts of Moon's personality so that they came out on the other side intact.
Eclipse didn't even know it was an option for Lunar to get so tired of his shit that he would leave! And maybe if Lunar had been alone he would have dealt with it, but he ended up having Monty to lean on as a kind of middle ground.
(Sun, this isn't about you, so I'm not going to look too closely at your utter lack of any kind of social life and how that might have affected your willingness to stay by Moon's side 8'D )
I don't think Eclipse ever says anything about it at the time, but I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason he killed Lunar once he got the star was directly in retaliation to a wound that goes a lot deeper than you'd think. Like, yes, he killed Lunar for betraying him, but in his eyes it was a massive, impossible breach of trust. Brothers just... don't turn on one another like that? They stick together no matter what?
And also he was hyped up on victory and is generally an unpleasant person but. Yeah.
Eclipse didn't anticipate Lunar's betrayal because his only role model for a sibling relationship is HELLA unhealthy and he literally didn't realize it was an option.

Point Of No Return
After finding out about your infidelity, Xanthus hatched a plan to make sure that you will not do such thing again. Xanthus x Reader Content Warning: Mentions of torture and violence. (I don't know if I should put yandere since he's just like that apparently.)
Tumblr media
Xanthus is inconsolable. After the revelation of your affair came to him, he was left bewildered. You tricked him, you deceived him, you took him for a fool. He knew that the signs were there, but he disregarded it, thinking that his trust in you is bigger than those doubts– a regret that he'll always hate himself for.
A part of him is in disbelief that you managed to cheat on him. He wondered how long this has been going on. Days? Weeks? Months? Either way, the fact that you managed to conceal it was impressive– especially when both of you are tethered by the bond.
He watched as you kissed him goodbye. The kiss lasted too long for his liking. Betrayal swelled in his heart. Xanthus observed you, wanting to know if you feel what he's feeling. Then, you paused. His eyes widened slightly, maybe you will come around. But instead you gave him another kiss before parting.
His fist was clenched tight as he witnessed it. It felt like an insult– a blatant display of mockery. The urge to confront you and let all his burdens out was strong, but he resisted. He's better than that. A cheap confrontation does not cut it. He knew he needed to do more. Something that will assure him that you won't commit this sin anymore for as long as he lives.
Tumblr media
Xanthus was known for his swiftness and precision in battlefield and in confrontation. After all, he was a warrior before he was a vampire. The skills that he had were honed by centuries of experience.
He witnessed war, famine, and destruction in his own eyes. But seeing you with that man opened a new kind of pain in his heart. Despite anger and betrayal dominating him, he knew that he can't hide the fact that witnessing your adultery broke something in him.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Your voice drifted him away from his thoughts. “You seem preoccupied,” Sitting beside him, you can almost feel the tension. You don't have to ask why, since you felt like you already know the answer.
Xanthus gave you a weak smile, “Nothing, I've just been exhausted.” He held his card close, not wanting to let you in. Today is not the day where he should reveal his cards. He has a lesson prepared for you and he'll make sure it is something that you won't forget.
Tumblr media
You were beyond anxious when Sam stopped answering your calls. He wasn't in his apartment, his office, or a friend's. Searching far and wide, there are no traces of him. You tried to calm yourself down to minimize Xanthus’ suspicion, but it was ineffective.
“What's wrong? Your heart seems to beat out of your chest.” Xanthus pulled you close, “Did something bad happen? I can feel how restless and nervous you are.”
Closing your eyes, you relished in his comfort despite the situation. “I was just thinking about my loved ones in my hometown,” You stated giving a small hint of truth.
He nodded understandingly, “Ah, yes. The fear of the unknown. Do you want to talk to them? I can accompany you.” A sweet smile plastered on his face. Instead of feeling comforted, your anxiety spiked higher.
You shook your head, “Thank you, Xanthus. But I'm fine.” A small smile flashed in your lips as he kissed your forehead.
He is comforting, like a warm blanket on a rainy day. A hint of guilt crept in; you tried to bury it, but before you could a subtle hint of satisfaction filled you. It was strange, but welcome.
“I can appease your mind,” He caressed your cheeks.
“Really?”
“Yes, you should know by now that I'll do anything for you.” He presented his hand out, “Let me guide you, my love.” Warmth spread on your cheeks as you gently took it.
You watched as he gently guided you deeper in his mansion. As you went deeper, you felt his eagerness and excitement. Curiosity filled you as you both halted in front of a door.
Your heart dropped as Xanthus opened the door. No one could've prepared you for what lies ahead.
You felt suffocated as your eyes landed on him. His arms chained to the wall, feet barely standing up, and his face almost unrecognizable. If it wasn't for the subtle rise on his chest, you'd believe that he's dead.
You finally found Sam.
Xanthus stood beside you, “You don't have to search for him. Did I appease you?” He tilted his head, almost wearing a grin.
It felt as if the ground was going to swallow you whole. A mix of shame, shock, and fear coursed through your body. Your secret spilled with a big mess, everything that you did to cover it up broke down.
“Xanthus…” You turned to him, face filled with horror. “I wasn't– it wasn't supposed to end like this.” Your voice falters as he gazed at you with an unreadable expression. But you don't have to know what he feels, you can feel it yourself. The burning and ever consuming rage consumed you too.
“How is this supposed to end?”
“I…” Words die before they can formulate. You weren't prepared for a confrontation, let alone when your affair partner is chained up with your lover's wall. All you know in this situation is lying will dig your grave deeper.
“It was just supposed to be a one time thing–”
“But?” He tilted his head, held back tension evident in his face. “Was he that good?”
His question made you flinch. You bit the inside of your cheek, “He's… enough.”
You spoke the truth. The more you think about it, the more unclear why you got caught up in this affair. Maybe it's the thrill? Maybe it was the normalcy that he brought? After all, being with a vampire is different from being with a human.
“For how long?”
“Four days.”
Xanthus nodded, satisfied at your answer. “I have had him for two days now. Maybe I can let him escape after two more days.” He hummed. “If he can make it out after tomorrow.”
You grimaced at the thought, immensely apologetic on Sam's situation. Sending a man to a grave for lustful nights is something that you never expected to happen.
“Do you want to know what I did?”
Before you could answer, he interjected.
“I took his nails off one by one, bust his kneecaps, broke his fingers, removed some of his teeth–”
“Stop. Please, stop.”
He spoke with such nonchalance, as if recalling his grocery list. It was sick. You feel sick.
Xanthus walked towards you, tilting your head so you can look him in the eyes. “I held back for you. Don't you know that? Even in my rage, I thought about what you would feel. I am considerate towards you. Did you even gave me the same grace?”
You tried to back away, but he only pulled you close. His presence is domineering– overwhelming. Xanthus is inescapable, and you're a fool to try and do so.
“You and I are bonded, until I die– until you die. I don't want any imbeciles trying to take my place. This is the last time that this will happen, understand?”
Leaving you no choice, you nodded. His words engraved in your mind noting the thinly veiled threat. The thought of spending your night with someone other than him now feels unimaginable.
You close your eyes, promising to fully give yourself to him. A devotion and a prayer to avoid such tragedy again. After all, he always has a history to back it up.

Just read this new article from Total Film about "Rings of Power" s2 and loved how Morfydd used Charlie's "cosmic connection" term but explained for her that it means their psychic/mental bond and that they are connected now in other ways too. 😀 Plus, a great bonus from Sam Hazeldine too.
The Rings of Power star Morfydd Clark says she agrees with Sauron actor Charlie Vickers’ theory that Galadriel and the Dark Lord are connected by their psyche, which could put her in terrible danger in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2.
"I'd agree with him, I think there is," Clark tells GamesRadar+ of Vickers’ psychic connection theory. "They're both magical, powerful beings, and I think there is something lonely to existing in that kind of sphere that they both are in. But yeah, there is some sort of cosmic connection, which I've heard Charlie mention a few times. I was like 'Nice, I like that'. Yeah, and it will go on for 1000s and 1000s of years."
Vickers, who plays Halbrand in season 1 and will take on more of Sauron’s guises including his fairer form Annatar in season 2, told GamesRadar+ of this hunch back at San Diego Comic-Con this year. "I think they’re connected, if not by proximity then by their psyche," Vickers explains. "They’re higher beings so I’m sure it runs deeper than being in the same place together."
As we know, Galadriel was fooled by her newfound friend Halbrand, who was later unmasked as her arch-nemesis Sauron at the end of season 1. Looking forward to season 2, we expect to see the elf driven by vengeance because of this betrayal. something that Clark thinks also links the two. "It's terrible to have misjudged someone as Galadriel did with him," says Clark. "So I think that also kind of binds her to him, because she doesn't make mistakes like that, and he'll forever be the person who deceived her and tricked her."
But as well as seeking revenge, it appears that Galadriel may also feel emotionally scarred from Halbrand's deceitful trick. "I think there's something really interesting about the fact that even though she knows now that Halbrand is Sauron, there's a sense of loss there," adds new Adar actor Sam Hazeldine. "She sort of has a hole where Halbrand once was even though she was deceived, it's really kind of twisted and dark and interesting."
Also there's a separate interview with Charlie and one of the writers (linked in the comments) with them talking about the Haladriel reunion in the s2 finale and how the season builds up to it, and Charlie even calls it a "reconnecting". 😏

Y/N x Sam Winchester
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-
SUMMARY: you are Sam’s gf, you are a happy couple who are studying law, but what happens when his older brother returns home?
-
Dean Winchester barreled down the road in his beloved Impala, heart racing with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. He hadn't seen his brother, Sam, in two years. Now, he needed his help. Their father, John Winchester, was missing, and the family business of hunting supernatural creatures couldn't afford another casualty.
Pulling up to Stanford University, Dean took a deep breath. He hoped Sam wouldn't be too resistant to joining him. Sam had left the life of hunting to pursue a normal life, and Dean respected that, but circumstances demanded a reunion.
"Sam!" Dean called as he barged into the apartment.
Sam Winchester turned to face his brother, surprise written all over his face. "Dean? What are you doing here?"
"Dad's on a hunting trip, and he hasn't been home in a few days," Dean explained, worry evident in his voice.
Sam's face fell. "Is he okay?"
"I don't know, that's why I'm here. I need your help to find him."
Sam hesitated, glancing at his girlfriend, Y/N, who had entered the room upon hearing the commotion. "Dean, I have a life here. I can't just drop everything."
You stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Sam's arm. "Sam, if your dad's in trouble, you need to help him. We can figure things out together."
Dean nodded approvingly. "She is right. Just for a few days, Sammy."
Reluctantly, Sam agreed, but you insisted on coming with the brothers, Sam told you everything about his past so it was nothing new to hear. Sam was sceptical and worried about your safty, but in the end the brothers agreed and you three set off to get to the case
The case led them to Jericho, California. Dean and Sam quickly fell into their old rythm of hunting, while you adapted pretty quickly.
As they delved deeper into the case, they discovered the legend of a Woman in White, a vengeful spirit of a woman named Constance Welch. She lured men to their deaths, driven by the pain of her own betrayal.
One night, as they staked out the haunted stretch of road, the Woman in White appeared. She targeted Sam, sensing his vulnerability. Y/N, not one to be left behind, intervened, using a mixture of courage and knowledge from John Winchester's journal to ward off the spirit.
"Sam, Dean, salt and iron!" she shouted, tossing a canister of salt to Sam.
With Y/N’s help, they managed to temporarily dispel the spirit. However, they knew it was only a matter of time before she returned. They needed to find Constance's remains and put her to rest.
The clues led them to Constance's abandoned house. Inside, they found her children’s remains hidden in a wall, revealing the tragic truth of her story. Constance had drowned her children in a fit of madness before taking her own life. Her spirit was bound to the area, forever reliving her grief and rage.
As they prepared to salt and burn the remains, the Woman in White appeared, more powerful and vengeful than ever. She attacked, throwing Sam across the room. Dean and Y/N fought bravely, but it was Sam who ultimately confronted the spirit.
"You don't have to do this," he pleaded. "You can rest now."
Constance wavered, her rage giving way to sorrow. In that moment of vulnerability, Sam, Dean, and Y/N completed the ritual, releasing her spirit and ending her torment.
With the case solved, Sam faced a difficult decision. He had rediscovered his skills as a hunter and recognized the importance of their mission. Y/N, too, had proven herself as a capable ally. They both understood that the supernatural world posed a threat that couldn't be ignored.
"Dean, I'm coming with you," Sam said, determination in his eyes. "But I want Y/N to stay safe."
You shook her head, her resolve unwavering. "No, Sam. I'm in this with you. We can make a difference together."
Dean grinned, proud of his brother and impressed by yours bravery. "Welcome to the family business, Y/N."
The trio drove off into the night, the Impala's engine roaring as they embarked on a new journey. Together, they would face the darkness, hunting monsters and protecting the innocent. The Winchesters, now joined by Y/N, were stronger than ever, ready to face whatever the supernatural world threw at them.
As they sped down the road, the stars above bore witness to a new dawn in the fight against the forces of darkness. The Winchester legacy continued, now with an unexpected but formidable ally by their side.

Supernatural S02E21 All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1
Like, literally because it's another Sera Gamble episode!! She knows exactly where to jab the knife and twist it (no pun intended) 😭😭😭
Ya Jake, move along..go back to Afghanistan for all I care
can we talk about Jared's sculpted bone structure?! Like damn those cheekbones and that razor-sharp jawline!
omg what?! Why was a demon like a ghost girl?? Nevermind.. it's something called Acheri
Ok but S2 Sam hair is sooooo underrated!!! I feel I like should apologise for not appreciating it over S6-7 hair ...
i never noticed before that Sam picks up the knife from that haunted town that ends up killing him later.. baby no, put it back where you found it..
Fuck! That was my reaction to Sam hollering "Lily!". Even Demon controlling ava literally flinches. Jesus Christ, his voice is so thick and heavy!!! They didn't use Jared's voice to full potential..
Ah! I love how Sam is all simmering in anger when Azazel tells him about the plans for special children and why he had to kill Jess. But the moment Azazel mentions that it was about Sam and not Mary, you can see the sadness and guilt take over. Aww baby
Love how Sam figured it out that it was ava.
What a waste we never saw Sam use his powers to full potential
Sam Winchester fought a man with super strength, with a broken shoulder!! Say Sam is not strong one more time, I dare you!
Jake Talley, they can never make me like you for what you did to Sam!
Kinda shitty isn't it? That Sam's purity is what gets him killed all the time.. As a show of good faith, he drops the knife (one Jake Probably didn't even know about because it's actually Ava with him in the scene when he finds the knife) and in the end Jake uses the same knife to stab Sam.
This is still the most difficult death scene for me to watch. Yes, I can see Dean being dragged to Hell by Hellhound like easy peasy lemon squeezy. But something about Sam's death in this episode is so gut wrenching. I don't know what it is.. could be a combination of all: Jake's betrayal. The fact that the death is severely gruesome compared to what's seen on the surface. While it looks like death by stabbing, it's more than that because Jake's power is super strength, he uses it to not only to stab him but also to cut through his spine. And of course, Jared's acting is what turns my blood cold.. 😭😭
Jared's acting in this scene is scary good. Like the stab is so powerful, he can barely scream. The way he sinks to the wet ground, swaying, barely acknowledging Dean's presence. Then he falls onto his brother, still out of it, trying hard but failing to keep his head on the neck and eyes on his brother. Then he is gone. Hands hanging by his sides, head on Dean's shoulder.. goshh!
I think Sera Gamble understood Jared's potential quite early on. So she started writing Sam with more complexity. The very first episode she wrote was S01E03 Dead in the Water but it's actually from Faith that she started writing these deeper layers for Sam exploring his ideas, beliefs, faith and then she pulled out the big guns and open fired at Sam.. can I say I love her for that?!!

I am so hyped by all the little extended scenes in Until Dawn. Especially in the little prologue section. That bit always felt a little rushed to me in the original. But now, not only do we get to better see the bond between the Washington siblings but I think we also get to truly understand just how mortifying that prank on Hannah is?
We learn later that Josh already deals with depression even before his sisters are gone. We also get the vibe that their parents aren't the most present forces in their lives considering Bob Washington's career as a famous film director. So those pieces of information tell me that in the absence of their parents, Beth and Hannah most likely did a lot of the heavy lifting caring for Josh if his mental health got bad (that’s my assumption at least). We finally get to see that bond in action when Beth and Hannah move a drunken Josh from the counter over to the couch in front of the fire. And honestly, I think it just makes it all the more heartbreaking for Josh knowing that he may or may not even remember the last time he truly saw his sisters? And if he does...then he had to grapple with the fact that baby sisters were taking care of him until the end while he wasn't even sober enough to be awake and around to help them when they needed it most.
Now we gotta talk about the prank itself. In the original, the note that "Mike" leaves for Hannah is purely him saying she's hot and inviting her to have sex later. The note in the remaster is almost entirely different. The proposal to meet him later is the same but what precedes it has changed. It's "Mike" telling Hannah that no one gets him like she does. Not only is it way more subtle but I think it cuts so much deeper?
It communicates to Hannah that Mike genuinely reciprocates her feelings for him, not that he just wants to use her for a quick hook up. The anticipation, the excitement, and the anxiety are so palpable from her when she reads the note and gets ready for the meeting. She's had a crush on Mike for how long? A crush that she's been so firm on that she got a tattoo because a dumb teen magazine said it could catch his attention. And here he is in this note, seemingly opening up and showing her a softer side of himself; making her feel special.
So the fact that it's all just a trick? And that all of her supposed friends knew about it? Like yeah, the betrayal was obvious in the original, but I think the slight alterations of the remaster make the inciting incident that much more cruel.
I even noticed a difference in the reaction from Mike as well? In the original he starts to say, "Hell yeah..." and clearly gets excited when Hannah starts to unbutton her shirt before quickly apologizing once she realizes what's going on. In the remaster that "hell yeah" is gone and I would even venture to say that Mike looks a little uncomfortable and earnest when he apologizes?
And the fact that Sam sort of reveals the prank instead of Hannah figuring it out on her own is especially clever in my opinion. To be clear, I don't think Sam deserves nearly as much blame as Mike, Emily, Jessica, Ashley, and Matt do. But with the way this scene is framed, we better understand now that in Hannah's eyes her own best friend knew about the prank and did nothing to either stop them or warn her before it could happen. Everything she once believed about her entire friend group has just been shattered.
And honestly, if I were a teenager being tricked like that, I might impulsively run out into the snow in the middle of the night just to get away from it all as well.

BETRAYAL
Colby brock x female reader
A/n: this is not a happy story! I legit cried making this. This takes space at the trap house so sam, corey, and jake live with colby (and you in this) but colby and you are 26.
Summary: you find out that maybe you're entire relationship is a lie.
Your pov
I come home from a hard day at work, everywhere on my body hurts and I'm emotionally drained. All I want is to cuddle up to colby and go sleep in his arms.
I walk upstairs and towards his room, I find him asleep in bed, I check the time. "One fifty-five Am" I whisper to myself. I set my things down quietly, making sure not to wake him.
I brush my hair out and put on one of his shirts and a pair of his basketball shorts. I climb into bed next to him.
He stirs in his sleep, "hey" he says groggy, his voice raspy and deep from sleep. I smile at him.
"Hi" I say snuggling up to him. He sighs, and sits up.
"Whats wrong baby?" I ask
"We need to uhm talk" he says and clicks the lamp next to his bed on.
My mind starts to race. About what? Did I do something wrong?
"I don't think we're going to work out y/n" he says rubbing his face. I'm in shock, this is a conversation I never thought I would be having.
"What? We have been together for the last eight years. Since we were eighteen colby, what do you mean" I blurt out, my voice wavering as tears flow down my face.
He sighs and sits there, not saying anything. "Colby. Why are you doing this? Tell me the truth." I choke out.
His face displays anger, "Fine you want the fucking truth?"He pauses "I never loved you"
His words cut deeper than any knife could. The world seems to stop for a minute. How could this be true? When we met we were both two kids trying to make it in LA. I sit there looking deep into his eyes, what does he mean he never loved me?
"Okay" I say and drag myself out of what used to be our bed and grab my backpack and shove my shit in it. I change out of his clothes, and put my own on. I shove my aching feet into my shoes and tie them tightly.
"Where are you going" he asks sounding defensive.
"YOU DONT FUCKING LOVE ME! YOU NEVER DID! YOU ADMITTED IT! I'M NOT GOING TO SHARE A BED WITH A MAN I LOVE SO DEEPLY WHO HAS NEVER LOVED ME. SO FUCK OF" I yell, I hear approaching footsteps, I recognize them as sam. He opens the door in a hurry.
"Colby what the fuck did you do" he asks his voice sounding desperate.
"He doesn't love me sam. He never has." I say and fall to my knees crying.
Sam glares at colby. "I'm leaving sam" I say and slowly pick myself off the floor and grab my bag.
"Where would you go" he asks.
"I don't know, I just can't stay here" I say and he hugs me tightly and tells me to be safe.
I walk out of the door, still sobbing. These past eight years have been a lie. I've never meant anything to colby. Never have never will. God what a shitty betrayal.

Revelations pt. 1
[History on Your Side—Chapter 2.] Sam Winchester x Reader
Tumblr media
Chapter summary: Sam and Dean make some revelations about the case. *Please see the masterlist for entire work summary and tags* Masterlist | Read on AO3
Tumblr media
Back at the motel, Sam retrieved the materials provided by you from his bag. He set them on the wooden table, preparing for an afternoon of research. The sterile glow of the ceiling lights lit up the otherwise dim room, highlighting the mound of books, journals and ancient manuscripts.
Dean sat back in a chair, flipping through the pages of a weathered journal. "Seems like this tribe has quite a history."
Sam nodded, tracing his fingers over the illustrations in one of the books. "Let's dig deeper... see if there's any mention of an event that might have triggered this haunting."
---
The hours slipped away quietly in their motel room as they immersed themselves in the writings. Sam diligently jotted down notes while Dean cross-references multiple sources. The details gradually revealed layers of forgotten tales and unresolved conflicts rooted in the regions past.
"This could be it, Dean." A spark of excitement coloured Sam's voice. "This part here," he pointed, tracing a line in a fading manuscript. "It mentions a tribal conflict that led to an act of betrayal."
Dean's eyes widened as he read through the passage. "Sounds promising."
"We've got to visit the site of the conflict, see if there are any clues left behind," Sam suggested, a glimmer of hope in his voice.
Dean nodded in agreement, his jaw set with determination. "Tomorrow, first thing."
---
Later that day, as the sun dipped lower in the sky, Sam's inbox chimed with an email. He glanced at the screen, surprised to see it was from you. Opening the message, he read your words with a mix of curiosity and anticipation.
"Hi Sam, it's Y/N from earlier. Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know I've found some extra notes on the tribe. I've attached what I can, but there are some older records in the department. Feel free to pop round tomorrow if you're interested. - Y/N"
As Sam typed out his reply, Dean leaned over, trying to catch a glimpse of the conversation. "Whatcha writing there, Shakespeare?"
Sam shot him a sideways glance. "Just a thank you. Y/N found more on the tribe. She's offering to help tomorrow."
Dean's curiosity peaked. "Seems our charming reporter act paid off, huh?"
"Seems that way." Sam hit 'send', confirming their meeting for tomorrow. "We'll swing by before the stakeout, better to be prepared."
---
The following day, sunlight filtered through the motel's windows as Sam got ready for the day. He'd already been on his morning run and spent a little longer in the shower than usual. He also spent an extra moment fixing his hair and adjusting his shirt, an unconscious effort to look more put together.
“Taking your time there, Sammy,” Dean said, eyeing his brother with a smirk. “Someone got a date with the good doctor?”
Sam rolled his eyes, trying to brush off Dean’s teasing. “Can you give it a rest, please?”
“Sure, sure,” Dean teased, his grin widening. “Just making sure you’re looking your best for our ‘scholarly rendezvous’, that’s all.”
Sam shook his head, sighing deeply as he grabbed his jacket and headed for the door. “Let’s just go, Dean.”
The drive to the university was filled with Dean’s jokes and Sam’s continued attempts to redirect the conversation back to the haunting. Despite his adamancy that he was not phased, Dean was not fooled, watching Sam repetitively fidget with the sleeve of his jacket from the corner of his eye.
They arrived at the history department and were welcomed by you greeting them with a warm smile. "Hey, Sam, Dean. Glad you could make it. Come on in."
Sam's heart skipped a beat in your presence, but he quickly pushed aside his nerves, focusing on the task at hand.
As they settled into your office, you laid out the notes you'd found, detailing the tribe's history and their interactions with the land. Your passion for history was evident in the way you spoke, and Sam found himself admiring not just your knowledge but also your dedication to your work. Sam contributed his thoughts and ideas, occasionally catching your eye. He tried to push aside any distracting thoughts, reminding himself they were here for the case.
After a lengthy discussion, you glanced at your watch. "I hate to cut this short, but I have a meeting in... two minutes..." Shit! "I hope this has been useful?"
Sam nodded, grateful for your help. "Thanks, and definitely... We really appreciate all your help."
Dean chimed in with a charming grin. "Yeah, thanks for shedding more light on this Doc."
You smiled warmly. "Of course, I'm grateful that my work can make a difference."
Sam smiled. "We're heading to the woodland later, so what you've told us about these landmarks will really help".
"Oh, great, just…well, be careful." You cringed internally. These men were hunters, they've dealt with dangers you've never even contemplated and you're telling them to 'be careful'? You felt like crawling into a hole and dying from embarrassment.
"We always are Doc. Right Sammy?" Dean slapped his brother on the shoulder.
A warmth spread through Sam's chest. "Thanks Y/N, we will be."
"Let me know how it goes? If you don't mind...? I feel like I'm invested in this case now" you chuckled tentatively.
"Uh, yeah, absolutely... Pop your number in and I'll update you once we're safe, how's that?" Sam passed you his phone, a tentative proposition to get your number.
"Sure" you smiled, catching a glint in Sam's eye as you tapped in your details.
"Thanks." As you passed him back his phone, your fingers unintentionally brushed against his, a pang surging through you both as you locked eyes. You quickly averted your gaze, feeling the intensity of his stare. Out of the corner of your eye, you swear you see him smile.
With a final nod, you headed off, a faint blush spreading across your face as you hurried to your meeting.
As you left, Sam couldn't shake off the nervous excitement tingling in his veins. He glanced at Dean, who was sporting a mischievous smirk.
"What?" Sam asked, slightly on edge from his brother's expression.
Dean chuckled. "Smooth moves in there, Sammy."
Sam's cheeks flushed slightly. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Oh, come on! 'I'll let you know when we're safe'... You're smooth with the ladies."
Sam rolled his eyes, trying to suppress a grin. "I was just being polite!"
"Sure, sure," Dean teased, enjoying Sam's discomfort. "She seemed into it, though. Who knows, maybe she'll slide into your DMs?"
Sam chuckled, feeling both amused and hopeful. "Can we focus on the case, please?"
Dean raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, Mr. Smooth Operator. Let's get to that stakeout. But first, lunch, I'm a starved man!"
---
Sam and Dean decided to grab a quick bite at a nearby diner. Dean had a burger and fries whilst Sam ordered a protein salad. As they sat in a booth, Sam picked at his food, lost in thought about the case and… the way your hand had felt against his skin. Dean, on the other hand, was more focused on the plate of fries in front of him.
"You're quiet, Sammy," Dean noted, dipping a fry into ketchup. "Thoughts on the case?"
Sam looked up from his food, taking a moment to compose his thoughts. "Uh... yeah... all this new information definitely adds up. Y/N really knows her stuff."
Dean nodded in agreement. "Absolutely. She's got a real knack for details."
"And... she seems genuinely interested in helping us." Sam added, casting a glance at Dean.
"Yeah, she's passionate about her work, just like we are."
Sam nodded, becoming lost in his thoughts once again. Maybe she's the missing piece in solving this mess...
---
The day had transitioned into a dull, rainy afternoon. Dean maneuvered the Impala through the foggy roads, the rain tapping a steady rhythm on the car's roof. A soft grey hue veiled the horizon, the dimming daylight casting an eerie glow over the landscape. As they arrived at the woodland, the rain surpassed into a fine drizzle, surprisingly freshening against their skin.
Sam carried his phone, having snapped a picture of a map detailing the historical landmarks belonging to the tribe. An ancient tomb, nested at the edge of the clearing, held the most hope, so they began their search there.
Sam consulted the map under the dimming light, occasionally glancing up to gauge their surroundings.
Dean squinted through the drizzle, his eyes darting between the rocks jutting from the ground barely visible in the fading daylight. "This place gives me the creeps, Sammy. Feels like something's watching us."
"Yeah, well, that's kinda the job description."
They pressed on, their boots squelching in the soft mud. The mist thickened, swirling around them, adding an eerie quality to the already haunted scene.
Suddenly, Sam stopped, his gaze fixed on a moss-covered stone embedded in the side of a hill. "Look Dean! Here… this sigil, it matches the one in Y/N's book earlier."
"I'll be darned." Dean peered at the rockface, raindrops trickling down its weathered surface. "Think it's safe to assume that it's not going to be a straightforward 'dig and burn' situation?"
Sam nodded. "Records suggest the tribe burn their dead. The spirit must be tied here another way."
Dean nodded, as he pulled out the EMF. It started to buzz straight away. "Well, I think we've struck gold, this is definitely the place".
The brother's kept up their guard, looking out for any potential danger, but none came.
"Strange" Dean mused. "There hasn't been a sighting in a few weeks, but the dude's clearly here. Ever heard of a shy ghost?"
"Beats me" said Sam. "Come on, let's head back, no need to piss him off before we know how to finish him".
---
As they returned to the rundown motel room, the rain picked up again, the sky deepening. The brothers kicked off their boots and shrugged out of their wet jackets.
Dean lounged on a creaky chair, flicking on the TV as he kicked his feet on the table. Sam sat on the edge of his bed, taking his phone from his pocket. He scanned through his contact list to find your name and typed out a message.
"Hey Y/N, it's Sam. We're back, safe and sound! Thanks again for all your help. Hope your meeting went well?"
A few minutes later, a notification buzzed. Sam quickly unlocked his phone to read your reply.
"Hey Sam! Glad to hear you guys made it back safely. My meeting was fine, thanks! How'd it go? Did you find what you were looking for?"
Sam smiled at your response, your enthusiasm evident even in the text. He started typing out a reply when Dean interrupted, flicking through the channels with a bored expression.
"Sammy, what are you grinning about over there?"
Sam remained focused on his phone screen. "Uh, nothing... Just catching up on messages."
Dean arched an eyebrow. "Uh-huh, sure. Anything interesting?"
Sam shrugged nonchalantly, trying to play it cool. "Just updating Y/N like I said I would. Nothing major."
Dean chuckled, turning back to the TV.
Sam rolled his eyes and continued tapping out his message.
"We found the tomb-definitely a ghost there, but as there's no bones, I'm thinking we're going to need a spell of some sort."
As the evening passed, Sam eagerly checked his phone, awaiting your next reply. But none came. After a few hours he resigned himself to thinking that you must be busy, asleep, or uninterested, until his phone started to ring. He glanced at the caller ID, eyes torn from the crappy TV show Dean was watching. It was you.
Butterflies formed in his stomach as he straightened up from where he had been reclining against his bed. "Hey, Y/N, what's up?"
Dean's ears pricked up.
"Sam..." Your voice came through with a hint of excitement and breathlessness. "Hope you don't mind me calling, but after your message, I had a look through some old texts, and… I think I've found something… a spell…I think... I'm not too sure..."
Sam's heart quickened at the prospect. "What?! Really?!"
Dean eyed Sam with curiosity.
"Are you busy? I mean…It's just that, I think you need to see this, like…now."
"Uh, okay, yeah, of course, we'll be right there. Where shall we meet you?".
"I'll text you my address, thanks Sam…see you soon."
"What's going on?" Dean asked, pressingly, as a text lit up Sam's phone.
"Y/N thinks she's found a spell... we need to go!"

A Heart-Wrenching Betrayal
Pairings: Ethan Landry x Male!Reader
Summary: The reveals of the ghostface's leave M/N heartbroken because the one person he trusted the most betrayed him.
Genre; Angst
Warning: Mentions of blood, character death, a dead virgin, spoilers from movie
Part 1
Tumblr media
After being in the hospital for a few days, it was finally time. Finally time to end the ghostface killings once and for all. A plan was made to lure in the ghostfaces in a secure area and, "execute them." Tara said looking up from the phone at the group.
The group agreed on a plan and now all you hoped was for the plan to work out. To finally avenge your friend Anika, and all the other people he killed.
The group made their way towards the subway, you and ethan staying behind a little bit to talk. "You know, I can't wait for this to be all over. It'll feel so good to finally be able to relax without worrying about getting stabbed every time I close my eyes." You spoke to ethan, hand in his.
"Same. But I can't wait to finally relax with you." He smiled while looking at you. You couldn't help but smile back, kissing his cheek in the process of walking. There was something about Ethan that made you fall deeper for him every time you looked at him. Maybe it was his charming smile, or his geeky personality, but you felt like you could trust him with your whole world. Like he'd never to anything bad to purposely hurt you.
Once you guys made it to the subway, you noticed that it was crowded. Very crowded. You were somewhat relieved since you knew the chances of ghostface getting you were very slim, but at the same time you were bit of a claustrophobic person. The group made their way towards the bus, but in the process your hand accidentally slipped out of Ethan's and now he was no where to be seen. "Ethan?" You called out, hoping to get an answer, but to no avail.
You sighed, getting on the bus with the other four. Wait... four? Mindy was also missing too. But, the second the door's began to close, she appeared. But it was too late and the subway was about to takeoff. Chad tried keeping the door open it forced itself shut. "Great, now Mindy and Ethan are gonna be a few minutes behind us." You said, irritated that the group was split up.
"Don't worry, they can just catch the next one. They won't be that far behind us, maybe like 5 minutes at most." Said sam, holding onto the pole to keep her from falling. "Uh.. guys.." Tara said, a slight look of anxiousness on her face. You looked at what she was facing it, seeing all of the ghostface costumes on the train. "Great, anyone of these fuckers could be him." You said, sitting down at an open seat.
"I doubt he'd try to attack in such a crowded space. Plus, he probably doesn't know we're here." Chad said reassuringly. "Hope so.." you mumbled.
Finally the tenth stop was reached and you were now leaving the train. You finally met up with Kirby, who told the group that everything was set up. "Where are Mindy and Ethan?" Kirby asked sam. "Oh, they're five minutes behind us." She responded back, Kirby nodding her head. But before anything else could happen, Sam looked at Danny. "Not you."
Danny looked confused, "What?" he asked. "Don't trust anyone, remember? We don't know you, not really..." She responded back. Danny was stunned for a second, "You know me" he said. "You aren't Woodsboro, I'm sorry." She said, hoping Danny would understand, In which he did. "It's okay, I get it. Stay safe okay." He pulled Sam into a hug. "Wait- But I'm not Woodsboro.." You said, slightly confused that Sam didn't stop you either. "You're an exception, now let's go."
Once you guys made it down to the shrine, Sam asked if anyone had any weapons on them. Kirby pulled out her gun, "Okay I'm an exception. I work for the FBI." She said trying to defend herself. Sam shrugged, "Okay well I'm gonna go call Mindy and ask if her and Ethan are almost here." Sam said, leaving the rest of the group. Kirby, Tara, and Chad also departed, leaving you alone.
Since you knew no one in the shrine was the killer, you felt safe to walk around and explore. You walked around and took out your phone, messaging Ethan to see if he was almost at the shrine. A minute passed and he didn't respond, "Maybe he just has bad service?" You thought to yourself, trying to remove any thought that he may have gotten hurt.
//Time skip to Chad getting hurt b/c I cannot have this story being hella long 😭 //
Chad was about to smash a jar onto ghostface's head but he was quickly stopped after getting stabbed in the hip. Tara screamed, trying to get to Chad, but you and Sam stopped her from going. The other ghostface got up from the ground and began stabbing Chad repeatedly. "NO!" Tara screamed, trying to get out of your guys' grasp. "Leave... g-go.." Chad weakly said, blood spilling out of his mouth.
//time skip to ghostface reveals yayy//
"Watch out-" Kirby yelled, but was quickly cut off after being shot multiple times by officer Bailey. Your eyes widened when Kirby dropped to the floor. You were even more shocked when one of the ghostfaces came up behind Bailey. A second after, the second ghostface came up behind him. "W-what the fuck..?" You spoke, but it was almost a whisper. "You..?" Tara asked in shocked. "Ehh, of course me. Frankly I expected more from the three of you, especially you two after what you did to us." He spoke, more focused on Tara and Sam. "What do you mean us?" Tara asked confused.
Then, one of the ghostfaces unmasked themselves. You felt your heart break into a million pieces. It was as if your world completely came tumbling down. You felt sick to your stomach when the first ghostface revealed their identity. "Ethan..?" You weakly spoke and you felt a pit in your stomach as you swallowed the lump in your throat. "Ta-da" Officer bailey said. "Surprise babe. You know, Mindy was right. It was easy to juke the roommate lottery." Ethan chuckled.
"Ethan, what the fuck?... I thought- you knew-.." You couldn't get any words out of you. It dawned on you that Ethan knew Anika would die and he didn't do anything to stop it. "What? You really thought I loved you, M/N? I mean, I only got close to you because you were friends with Sam and Tara before I met you." No, you couldn't believe it. Was what he was saying really true? Did he really never love you?
"But what about..- no.. fuck you, Ethan.." You gave your whole world to Ethan just for him to stomp on it and say 'fuck you'. I guess that's what you get for trusting the dorky ones. "God and you know what? If felt so fucking good to kill Chad!" He laughed out loud.
"But if it's you two, then that just leaves... Mindy?" Sam questioned, fearing her good friend was behind the killings. The last ghostface revealed themselves. "Quinn?!" You spoke in a shocked tone. "Hey roomies, didn't see that one coming, did you?" She asked, clearly proud of herself. "No because you died!" Tara yelled. "Kinda didn't though.. It was a good way to get off the suspect list. Stab Mindy, stab Gale Weathers." You were in utter shocked. You still couldn't comprehend that your boyfriend & friend were the ghostfaces.. and officer bailey.
"I mean, it was just a little fake blood, a prosthetic.. you'd be surprised with what a grieving father can get away with." Officer Bailey said, proceeding to walk toward the small group.
// Time skip to after the explanation of Richie and after they climb the ladder cuz no one cares and b/c this fic is already hella long omg //
You walked behind the rail, trying your best to not slip. Tara and Sam had made it across and u were a little behind. But of course with your amazing luck you accidentally slipped. Tara and Sam managed to grab your arm before your fell. "Oh fuck, oh fuck!" You screamed, holding onto them for dear life. Ethan hadn't made it any easier because he tried grabbing and cutting you from below. "You know I've always wanted to stick something in you, M/N!" He yelled while laughing. "Fuck you!' You shouted back at him. "Fuck you!" He said back, even louder.
"Shit, I'm slipping! I don't think I can hold on!" You exclaimed. The blood on your guys' hand made it hard to hold on. "Let me go." You said, already knowing you may fall anyways. "No way, M/N! We aren't letting go!" Sam yelled back. "You have to let me go, Sam!" Sam and Tara heard footsteps from beside Sam and saw Quinn. "Shit.." Tara mumbled. Luckily you had a plan.
You looked at Sam and then the knife she had on her. She nodded and gave you the knife before Tara and Sam let you go. You fell onto the floor. "Got ya, babe!" Ethan exclaimed, swinging his knife into your leg. You screamed out in pain but quickly grabbed onto Ethan, swinging your knife into the side of his neck. He screamed before pleading for forgiviness.
"W-w-ait, pl-e-ase b..babe. I-Lo-ve.. you.." He weakly said, hoping you'd let him go. "Rot in hell you virgin bitch." And with that, you took the knife out him before slicing his throat. You pushed his body onto the ground, watching him struggle to survive before his movements soon came to a stop.
There was a part of you that still loved Ethan. That still wishes things could have been right with him. He broke your heart, yet there was still some guilt you had when you killed him. When you looked at him and saw the man you once loved before now dead on the ground, it hurt to see.
"Ethan Landry, though you broke my heart, I'll never stop loving you. I'll miss you forever."

Barriers to deserving happiness
Dean's survivors' guilt re: John's deal is getting to me today. I mean, it was SO powerful and so intrinsic to understanding early-seasons Dean. Like, it's THE thing that eats Dean and it's one of THE biggest things that feeds into his deal for Sam. I don't think it's not not discussed, but I'd love to see it discussed more.
Dean RE: the deal —
...
Bobby:  What is it with you Winchesters, huh? You, your dad, you’re both just itching to throw yourselves down the pit! Dean:  That’s my point. Dad brought me back Bobby. I’m not even supposed to be here. At least this way something good can come out of it. You know, like my life can mean something.
.... and....
Dean:  Which is why we gotta find this yellow eyed son of a bitch! That’s why I’m gonna kill him myself. I mean I got nothing to lose now, right? Bobby:  I could throttle you!
2x22
And there's Cas, trying desperately to figure out a broader meaning for why GOD* and later Jack brought him back, searching for a way to make it meaningful:
CASTIEL: And if Michael really is coming, maybe I was brought back to help prepare. DEAN: Prepare for what? CASTIEL: War.
13x14
Survivor’s guilt in the context of a soldier is a profound and deeply personal experience, often shaped by the unique bonds of camaraderie and shared risk in military service. F or soldiers, the guilt of surviving when comrades do not can be magnified by the intense loyalty and sense of responsibility they feel toward their unit. This guilt can create significant barriers to emotional recovery and accepting happiness, as it becomes intertwined with their identity and values.
I think... Survivor’s guilt can make Dean Winchester or Castiel feel unworthy of happiness, especially when their choices led to others dying. Loving each other might feel like a betrayal, as if finding solace together means ignoring the lives they couldn’t save—or the ones they took.
Purgatory is tempting because it respectively offers Dean and Castiel an escape from the burden of guilt. (And at first, Dean wants to get them out! A bit like how SPNWIN John wants to get Mary out of hunting but struggles to get himself out of it.)
Eternal war and constant punishment can feel like justice—a way to pay for what they've done. It’s a place where they can reject happiness, where the relentless struggle numbs the ache of loss and absolves them of the need to move forward. In purgatory, there’s no room for joy or love, only survival, and that feels easier than facing the guilt of living and the potential fear of finding solace in the other.
Overall, I think they're over-aware of each others' feelings of guilt too... and it magnifies their own respective guilt. They try to soothe the other's guilt because they want better for the other. BUT they also empathize with and shoulder each other's guilt, too. It’s a friggin mess. But survival wasn’t a simple choice they made; it was simply what happened. And embracing love doesn’t erase their losses—it honors them, proving those sacrifices weren’t meaningless. They both struggle to learn that happiness isn’t earned; it’s something they’re allowed, even with the weight they carry.
...
EDIT: Maybe Dean and Cas begin to realize their love isn’t just the quiet camaraderie or distant longing that can be kept contentedly at arm's length. It’s something deeper, more immediate, like learning to live together, sharing meals and quiet moments in a way they’ve never dared before. And so... They try to find a way to be close without fully giving in—coming up with a balance that lets them be near each other without facing the guilt of overindulgence. But it’s hard, because the love between them is powerful, the kind of love that feels almost selfish, like something they’ve never allowed themselves to need before. And maybe, the closer they get, the harder it becomes to deny the weight of it, and the fear creeps in—that to fully embrace it would be the most selfish thing either of them has ever done. ... Musings: For Dean, this love with Cas is complicated. It’s not a relationship where he can control the coming and going, or where he can hide behind the idea of being needed just enough to keep the distance he’s comfortable with. It’s a terrifying leap into something that doesn’t fit his usual rules, a vulnerability he’s never been willing to face before—a vulnerability marked by needing someone so badly. it's surrender, acceptance, and forgiveness. For Cas, it’s equally daunting, though in a different way. This love isn’t about duty or obligation—it’s about wanting, about being seen for who he truly is, flaws and all. It’s a surrender he’s never fully allowed, a willingness to be vulnerable in ways he doesn’t know if he can handle. The fear for him lies in the unknown—letting go of the armor he’s carried for so long and trusting that this love, however powerful, won’t break him.

so i watched interview with the vampire.
and you're gonna be like "laila, i thought you like to watch things after the hype has died down" well i thought so too but they put it on netflix and the brainworms got to me. i watched both seasons in a weekend. i'm gonna read the books next. usually i really don't like shows where the characters you follow are just "so complex!!!1!!!!1" and "hard to understand!!!1!!!!1" because a lot of the time this is just a cheap copout for people who want to fuck very surface level villains with very surface level writing (a lot of you have let fanon make you think some characters are deeper than they actually are but thats a story for another day) but i am SO happy to report that this is NOT the case for interview with the vampire. you have so many conflicting feelings for all of these characters (except claudia. i do in fact support her every decision. love that queen. my princess.) and it's just so good. this is the true drama people are looking for on tv. kind of wish it was on during the era of cable cuz you KNOW it would've been craycray. going into this, i really was expecting to completely dislike lestat but honestly i can't even say that. i love him and i hate him. the same way i love and hate louis and i love and hate armand. claudia and daniel are really the only characters that i love unconditionally. but there are so many scenes that just really pull on my heart strings. the finale where lestat says "armand called me, did you hurt yourself?" with those SAD ASS EYES. i don't know if people have already said this but whenever lestat is really sad sam reid puts on these puppy eyes that practically FORCE you to feel bad its insane. and louis.......... the man who is fumbled over and over again constantly. my favorite unreliable narrator. seeing how the "turning of claudia REALLY went down lowkey rewired some neurons. "please ill do anything ill be anything please please please." the guilt was literally eating him alive to the point of no return. that had me really gagged. jacob anderson lowkey best actor ever? like where are the awards we need them right now. and armand......... oh armand. biggest fumbler ive ever seen. its okay though cuz he's gonna fuck that old man. i know he is. but him lying over and over again to louis is actually so crazy. like bro is a pathological liar AND a gaslighter. you've been alive for over five hundred years and i can tell you havent gone to therapy not one time in your entire life. like for him to take the credit for lestat saving louis is what REALLY got me. like lowkey that's worse than the betrayal itself. like 70 years of mending back together our relationship after you killed my daughter and almost me only for me to find out MY EX SAVED ME? AND NOT YOU? like oh i would've really crashed out. and my dear claudia.... my favorite. it's so crazy like i will absolutely not allow any claudia slander because i can defend her from anything. like i genuinely do not think any "bad" thing claudia does is her fault because she literally did not ask for this. like you can argue that it made her life WORSE! instead of simply dying in that moment, she had to die later after suffering so much and THEN proceeding to experience happiness for one moment (insert the have you ever gotten everything you ever wanted? no. but i once got very close quote here). claudia did nothing but suffer, was treated seriously by NO ONE in her life, and the one time someone picks her, they both proceed to die immediately after. that genuinely upset me so much i wanted to turn the tv off. and the crazy thing is we ALL knew claudia was going to die because they talked about her in past tense THE ENTIRE INTERVIEW! LIKE I KNEW SHE WAS DEAD THE ENTIRE TIME! AND I STILL WANTED TO SMASH THE TV! it's actually insane. at least in her final moments madeleine chose her. which was done very beautifully in my opinion. "my coven is claudia." goosebumps man. because a lot of people probably would've chosen the other option but no not madeleine. she loved claudia more than she wanted to live. i love this show man.

Everybody’s naked and there’s a country to run by @coffeegleek
A take on the "prince/king!Blaine and prince/king!Kurt are getting married and have to do it while naked in front of their loyal subjects" trope. It’s pure crack taken seriously. I’m blaming the heat. The fic started as this wisp of an idea and a single funny Kurt line. It was supposed to all be fast paced and instead sometimes dissolves into a bit of world building, exposition, and Kurt feelings. I do try my best and hope that at least some of the jokes and humor land. It also developed a full blown plot that has a beginning and an end.

Reprise by orphan-account  [PDF]

But turning 35 has made him restless and he's longing for the life he had before. Burt talks him into taking some classes at Ohio State University to finish his degree and start focusing on himself again. What Kurt finds on the OSU campus is much more than he bargained for.

a couple unpopular tron opinions!! lmao
Tron '82 > Legacy, but idk if that's an unpopular thought loll
What that makes Legacy's story go from good to great is all of it's various companion pieces— The Flynn Lives ARG, The Next Day, Betrayal, Evolution, Uprising, etc etc. The best thing about the Tron franchise is how it uses so many different mediums (and technology that viewers interact with in different ways!).
The Flynn Lives ARG, to me, is still the most ingenious thing that has happened to this franchise. Is it a little sad that the deeper aspects of Alan and Sam (and sort of Lora and Roy)'s characters get sidelined to something that average movie-goer isn't going to seek out? Yes, extremely. But the ARG is such a treat for fans that I'm genuinely surprised that Tronblr of the 2020s doesn't pay any attention to it. There's so much character and world building, and so many little, little easter eggs— I think the ARG deserves so much more attention!!!!
Evolution does more for the main program characters of Legacy (Clu2, Quorra) character development than Uprising does 😭The existence of Abraxas makes Clu more sinister because we see him purposefully going behind Flynn's back, and as dark as it was, Quorra's personal losses almost felt more heavy in Evo than Uprising since Anon and Quorra work together through the game. But I'm also very biased because I liked Evo's story so much lmao
—— from @quorras :)
tron confessional with moss
alright let's break this down lol
1. 82 v Legacy
admittedly I have gone back and forth on this one a lot over the years. because I generally (obviously) love 82 to bits and it is my favorite part of the whole franchise. but at times I have questioned if Legacy is narratively the Better Movie(tm). and at the end of the day I think it's somewhat hard to compare because they're telling pretty different stories, once you get past the surface level sucked into cyberspace plot. 82 has a warmer fuzzier view of the potential of technology in the right hands compared to Legacy, which in my interpretation leans more into the idea that family -- human love and connection -- supersedes the more "alien" program way of life. 82 wants you to like the programs and see them as people just like us, whereas Legacy has more of a Basics kinda suck and only the more human ISOs are worth anything approach lol. and I think there's validity in both those takes, and I think the times and environments in which they were created has a huge impact on how they view and approach technology. but. yeah. 82 wins for me on its more optimistic hopeful vibe alone.
2. The Tron EU (extended universe not European Union)
100% agreeeeeeeeee. I sometimes catch myself lamenting the fact that it's such a small franchise, but when you add up all the comics and games and the ARG (Flynn Lives ARG light of my life we will get to you in a moment xoxo) and the show there really is a lot! honestly throw ElecTRONica in there too, there was lore there. half the reason I have such a hard time even recommending the movies to people is because I want to be like okay but you also need to watch/read/play all of this please you don't UNDERSTAND
the way Tron has been handled by some many creators and creative teams is honestly just.... really beautiful and special to me in the most unironic sense. it sucks that the mouse has never given the franchise the trust or the resources to grow, and I hate that so many projects are soured by this air of something being ripped away from people who clearly loved it and wanted to do more. but that love is so undeniable in all these bits and pieces of the franchise. there will always be people who love Tron as much as we the fandom do, and I would rather have a hundred of these one-off passion projects like Uprising or Identity than a bunch of soulless blockbuster movies
3. ARG my beloved <3
42 Entertainment I am kissing you on the mouth
I really can't even articulate everything that the ARG is to me, and I wasn't even involved when it was ongoing. when I was just getting into Tron after Legacy got the home release, a good chunk of the ARG sites were still live, and I remember digging into all of it and being amazed and obsessed. I still have the wiki site where everything is archived bookmarked. there's so much good background in there. and Roy! ROY!!!!!!! and the big reveals in The Next Day? OUR little operation, ISOlatedThinker???? I am not and will neve be normal about it, and it's sad to think the current iteration of the fandom doesn't know about or acknowledge it as much
4. Evolution v Uprising
I feel ya. don't get me wrong, I love the Uprising cast, but I was never completely in love with how the show handled the pre-established characters. like I was saying before I didn't like how Uprising made Clu a more detached / distant villain, so having him be a more direct bastard in Evo worked better for me. and Quorra ugh :( she really loses everything over the course of the game, and I think it makes her character in Legacy so much more poignant knowing that she went through all of that but was still so hopeful. Abraxas was such a good, tragic, fucked up antagonist. and Gibson oughhhhhh. again hard to say what would have happened in a second season of Uprising (pour one out), but Evolution is so deliciously bleak in a way the show never completely got to be. Uprising is mostly dark because we know or can infer what's going to happen, because we know where canon ends up. but Evolution has more of an opportunity to show us the dark and horrible things that went on after the coup, and it's a carries a little more weight as a result. rip Anon you will always be famous
