Real Animated Pets - Goat, Sheep and Llama

This project is our fruit of labour with @deedee-sims. I was looking for a way to have more "alive" pets in Sims 2 and approached DeeDee. Luckily for all of us, she liked the idea and helped me out with the most difficult parts. This project would not be possible without you, thank you DeeDee ❤️

From the technical point of view all animals are custom collars for large dogs (and only large dogs). In order for them to work as on previews, you need to assign your dog a transparent fur (a brand new creation by DeeDee that makes dogs' fur completely invisible, included in the archive) and then pick an animal skin you want from the collar section. If you'd like to change the appearance of an existing large dog, be sure to buy it a desired collar on a community lot first! Dog's breed is also important, it can make chubbier or thinner animals. If your fur doesn't look completely transparent, be sure to uncheck all the fur accessories. I'd recommend using a default white no name breed (looks best with animations).

We (especially DeeDee! ❤️) did our best making new animals move as smoothly as possible, but be aware that clipping is still present in certain animations. Also, these animals behave and sound like normal dogs. Hopefully we'll find a way to mute them in the future.

Animals come with a set of objects that are more appropriate for farm animals - new bed, toy, 2 "bowls" and deco hay. Objects have morphs and dirty states. Note that the feeders works like a pet bowl meaning they will randomly rotate but it won't prevent pets from eating normally.

All animals come with original Sims 4 textures (1024x1024 for llama and 512x512 for goat and sheep), converted and tweaked by me. Animal colors are separated so you can pick and choose only the ones you want. Collection file for objects is included. I also recommend these and these Uldum rug add-ons (if you want other sizes for the hay overlay).

UPDATE 10/10/2023

Changed pet toy animation to silent chewy one (thank you @vegan-kaktus and @executables-sims), the archive was updated but if you don't want to redownload the whole thing, here's only the updated toy.

UPDATE 12/10/2023

Added a new feeder - prarie grass converted from Sims 4 Horse Ranch. Now your new pets can feed on the fresh grass. Collection file was updated too.

UPDATE 17/02/2024

Fixed toy's thumbnail - it's no longer empty. Added a custom version for the hay rug, I'd recommend using a custom rug rather than ULDUM because it has no outdoor shadow (ULDUM can't be fixed). Updated the collection file to include new rug.

UPDATE 05/09/2024

Updated Prairie Grass Feeder to have smoother edges. It looks much nicer now.

I had been hoarding the loose fit outfit for months waiting for other sets to combine with and then two appeared in a week 😎 I think this was my last big set of clothes I had to tackle which is awesome! 😊

This default comes in three flavours so please make sure you only pick up one:

version one - all outfits assigned male only, as per the original

version two - overalls and arcade potato are available for both genders. Loose Fit is male-enabled only

version three - all outfits are unisex and can be used by both genders

Real Animated Pets - Jaguar Edition

Was hard to find a proper name for this one. This is jaguar conversion from Castaway Stories that acts like @deedee-sims and mine Farm Animals - it's a custom pet collar for large dogs.

This was originally requested by @jellymeduza way back when farm animals were posted (made, sent and then forgotten). And now that I see that MTS is full with all kinds of jaguar skins, I remembered and thought it was time to share our version 😀

The jaguar files were extracted from Castaway Stories by me, then remapped (of course I peeked at Darina Rose's jaguar). DeeDee, just like always, made a stellar job with bone assignements (remember though, that nothing is perfect in the world of sims 2 bones 😄). And as already mentioned, this pet is a custom collar for large dogs and works in the same way. More info on how it works can be found in farm animals post here (you'll aslo need the invisible fur file by DeeDee from that post).

The top two dresses are for dress gothic (their file titles in SimPe are bloody red and deadly black which I thought was cool), the bottom row are pirate. Everyday only. I finally have a dress that fits my vision of Cassandra Goth 🙌🏾 (Kinda feeling the afro as well... lol)

A simple shoeswap and age conversion! And I also edited it, because it turned out that a full body was underneath that blazer… I spent way too much time with removing stuff, and it didn’t really affect the polycount in the end, but whatever, there was an attempt XD Also, I hope I put on the right loafers… anon never came back to clarify the request.

They’re for teens, adults, and elders, they have the appropriate morphs. They come in the original 10 colors, and you can choose if you want the other ages repo’d to the AF files, or not :)

Hi everyone, I’ve got a default replacement for basegame polo shirts for ages teen to elders, male and females. TM, TF, AM, AF, EM, EF.

These were replaced with 4t2 basegame & Spa Day polo shirts converted by @julietoon-ts2 @mdpthatsme​ & @deedee-sims. Links: 1, 2, 3, 4.

These have fat and preg morphs for approproate ages, and are categorised as everyday & gym. See swatches used above. 

The zip file has 2 combined files for all male and all female ages, or 6 separated files in case you don’t want them replaced for all ages.

Supercute overalls with frogs. They’re a little oversized. I fell in love with the original, and started converting immediately.

Combined them with Pixicat docs (superconfused about credits now). Redid textures though.

Introducing part one of ??? of my Tudor Times downloads.

Sorry for the crappy previews, I have reinstalled my game but haven’t set much up yet so Bodyshop it is.

All meshes are included, and are recoloured in the Historian Palette. Textures by Deedee, Heget, Andavri, Eaxis, Simages, Sherabihm, AAS. I have probably (read: definitely) forgotten some of the OG texture creators and I am sorry. If you recognise anything please give me a nudge.

Most have a subtle plumbob pattern by the lovely @asimplevampire.

There are 5 for males and 5 for females.

Starting with the Men!

First up is “Admiral”, converted from TSM by VampireKiss for CM-AM.

Second is “Tudor King”, converted by Rented-Space from TS3 with a TM conversion by me.

Thirdly is “Sir”, an AAS mesh (actually a fixed version of a Sussi mesh by AAS) converted to TM by me.

Fourthly is “Bard”, TSM conversion for CM-AM by VampireKiss.

Fifthly and finally for men, is Aarbyville, another TSM by Vampirekiss for TM-AM.

Now onto the women!

Firstly is ‘Tudor Dress 1″, on an AAS mesh for CF, a SimAges mesh for AF, and my conversion for TF.

Secondly is “Tudor Dress 2″ (Very creative), a TSM mesh converted by Chere for CF-AF.

Thirdly is “Tudor Queen”, a TS3 conversion by Rented-Space, with a TF conversion by me.

Fourthly is “Archduchess”, with meshes by Deedeesims for TF_AF.

Finally is “Tudor Princess”, a conversion from TS3 by Rented-Space, which the wonderful @sadoalicesims converted for TF and AF for this project for me!

so you’re probably thinking now, well? what next?

so this entire generation has accidentally been wiped - i didn’t back up my game when i used the anygame starter to install bon voyage and i lost the whole thing. the whole 6 generations. after sitting at my laptop like this for 10 minutes

i decided i just had to get over it. i had a copy of bella (extracted just in case the move to riverblossom hills got a bit fucky) so i put her back in the hood, downloaded a house by deedeesims (i had absolutely no intention of building a house again) and cheated. i made her a plantsim, gave her back her badges, put her back at the top of her career, and gave her back her kids.

willow is still the heir, but she might look a bit different.

i’ve not got copies of cosmos, alvin or caleb so i’m no longer bothering to do downloads (which is why i’m tagging this as download a flowers as well) because i’m so done lmao
