This dish. I've been working on this since I first moved to NYC. My grandmother passed away from Breast cancer when I was young, a week before my moms bday. I never understood how cruel life was until that moment. I kept asking myself, God, everyone. Why, why did this happen, why did she have to leave us. It hurts to this day and I miss her so much. This weekend I got my chance to give back. To give hope for others struggling. Deco Ristorante will be donating 20% of our total sales this Mother's Day weekend to Breast cancer research. I give you Pollo Piacentini. Pounded and breaded in Parmesan Reggiano. Lightly sautéed in olive oil and butter. Finished with a white wine and lemon sauce.
