If it were upto me, that bald dome would be the perfect resting spot for a number of things lol. And someone those might be useful to polish some protein on it :)

I haven’t really kept up with the reactions of people I see regularly since it really didn’t enter my mind to care what they could possibly have to say about my head being bald. They may think I’m crazy for all I know. Being in public around strangers is the exciting part for me. Just wondering what their perception of me is and filling in the blanks. That’s why sharing on here really helps me adjust the sails and get brutally honest feedback.

I can honestly say it’s never been used as a resting spot, but what a great idea!

Susan Sontag: Seven Theses on the Pornographic Imagination

First thesis

Pornographic fiction has a strange way of finding some truths. These truths, about sensitivity, sexuality, individuality, desperation, and limits, can be seen and shared as they present themselves through art.

The second thesis

Everyone has lived, in dreams at least, in the world of sensual imagination for many hours, days, or perhaps longer periods of their lives; But only the residents there always make the fetishes, the art, and the spoils.

The third thesis

This discourse, which we can call the poetry of transcendence, is also a type of knowledge. Whoever transgresses not only breaks the rule, but goes to a place where there is no one else; He knows what others don't know.

Fourth thesis

There is clearly something wrongly, perhaps confusingly, designed about human sexual ability; At least in the sexual capabilities of human civilization. Man, the sick animal, carries within him a lust that can lead him to madness.

Although it is not the best story set in Scotland, it will transform you as you follow two women through six different time zones and witness their lives as they connect through family, love of books, and an adorable community. First, there is Julie, a St. Georgian who escapes her husband and her debtors at the Career Tech High School and bravely sails through the air, flaunting her Premium Plus station. The story continues through Elaine and her obsession with Julie’s story in present-day Declo, Idaho before deciding to follow Julie eastward on the great plane of Delta, Basic Economy, to the south coast of Scotland to dig up her secrets at The Open Book bookshop in Wigtown, Scotland. They will be beset by challenges, triumphs, the chill of winter by the shore, and the warmth of local soups. Check back every day to follow these women as they run the lovely little bookshop on the corner of High Street and Agnew Crescent.
