Helloooooooooooo!! I feel so guilty that I opened my tumblr account just now :( After opening the message box, I got a lot of questions about my debut party. So to those who asked, I am so overwhelmed that my party caught your interest. I may be a year delayed or two answering your questions but this blog may help other girls out who will be turning 18 soon! Yaaaaaaaaay! As they say, "coming of age" (SAY WHAT!!!!) Hahahahaha!

So let's make this short and let me begin with my first supplier! Hoooorah!

First I asked my parents if I could throw a party on my eighteenth birthday and they said "YES!!!" Omg that's one of the best answers in the world that could come from our parents, am I right? So girls, before anything else, before you make a contact with the suppliers that you like, be sure that you made a contact with the supplier of money, mkay? Of course, you could not push thru with your plans if they will not support you! You will just get disappointed. Believe me. Lol

After my parents approved this thing, I eventually surfed the net for the suppliers. It was MEGAPIXELS that I came across with in terms of photography and videography. After browsing some of their works, I found out that they worked on parties of some celebrities like Kim Chiu's 18th, Gerald Anderson's 21st et al. Then I saw on those two celeb's parties that their coordinator was Loi Villarama. I searched for Loi Villarama's official site to help me with my party. I made an appointment with his team via e-mail. I went to his office and talked about everything I want about my debut and there he helped me reach the suppliers I like and pick the right supplier that I still do not have on my mind yet on a particular thing like event stylist, mobile bar etc. So here's the list

Photographer + Videographer: Megapixels (http://megapixels.com.ph/)

Picked the Debut Package and added the On Site Video Editing Same Day Edit. Believe me, adding the SDE is totally worth it! I become hesitant at first because it's quite expensive for a 1-song-length video, but it's totally worth the price! You know, memories! Oh girls, c'mon, we love memories!!

Gowns: Veejay Floresca (http://madoreveejayfloresca.com/)

He's just one of the best young designers of today! He is very professional and I love his works! He did well on incorporating my gowns to my theme! After seeing the finish product, I fell in love with candies, especially to cotton candy! Plus, he's so fun to work with. I really felt comfortable talking to him and giving to him my ideas because he is too nice and sweet! He talked to me as if we've know each other for a long time. But as for today, he is in SanFo I think and currently taking his masters degree in Academy of Art University. To cater his clients, he does Skype meetings and his clients are still as satisfied as if he's here in Manila.

If you want the best headshot, get them! They customize backdrops according to your theme. In my case, I gave them my debut invitation for them to make the backdrop of my photobooth in line with my theme and thumbs up! They made everything just the way I want the backdrop to be. I was a happy and above-satisfied client so I even get them again for my cousin's debut! Venue: C3 Events Place (http://www.c3eventsgroup.com/)

I did not want to make my debut on a hotel as hotels cannot give me the entrance that I like, the "Me getting down the stairs wearing my long cotton candy gown" entrance HAHAHAHAHA We ended up with this place as this venue has a high ceiling that wont make the guests feel suffocated. Some of the venues with stairs that we have seen are either too small or too big for a 150 pax. Plus this venue has those circle things at its ceiling that would cost us less (for the event stylist) as it would not take so much designs because of those circle stuffs. Lol

Hair and Makeup: Anton Patdu (09156608541) and Gerry Penaso 

Back then, I got a lot of pimples on my face and just a shoulder-length hair. Thanks to these guys who made my face smooth and purdyyyy (lol) and a long-haired debutante. Yaaaay! Kudos! As for now, I think Anton's working with Mac Cosmetics and doing projects with some magazines like Mega and Preview.

Event Stylist: Meg Amat of Eve & Co. (http://www.wildcocktailsbar.com/

Since my theme was Katy Perry's California Girls (Yeah this is the time when Tap Tap was the "in" app and I was so obsessed with Katy and play California Girls and Firework on Tap Tap all day that is why I ended up with it as a theme.) where gummy bears, candies, etc can be found, my coordinators ended up with her because her team already had the experience making it since they are the one who made Powerplant Mall's December 2010 Christmas decoration wherein the gingerbread house, candyman, etc were there. For extra credit, her team made worked on some celebs' parties like Kristine and Oyo Sotto's wedding.

Mobile Bar: Wild Cocktails (http://www.wildcocktailsbar.com/)

I am already 20 but I still don't drink. The taste of alcohol just does not work on my palate. Do I sound weird? Many of my college and high school friends are in love with alcohol and here I am............. Hating the taste and smell. Yeah, me not that cool hahaha but this mobile bar worked out on my party as my friends love their drinks! They have that syringe thing were in you need to push then end to drink the alcohol plus they have this flaring guy that perform on the party. My friends really enjoyed Wild Cocktails! The syringe thing is so good in pictures, promise! HAHAHAHA

Sound System: Soundlevel

I actually do not know why we hired this even though the sound system is included in C3's package. Yeah, I still do not know but this pretty worked well on my party. My regrets that I did not get one of the best DJs. Im not that musically inclined back then. I knew nothing about those things. HAHAHAHA

Invitation: Adworks GRFX (Instagram: @adworks_manila)

So this is it! Many of you were asking where I had my invitations made and tadaaaaa, it's from Adworks! I have so much faith with Adworks when it comes to invitation. The moment that Loi and his team brought me to their office, I fell in love with all the invitations that are displayed there. Then I saw Gerald Anderson's invitation and I can really say "Nainggit ako kaya ganon din kahaba yung invitation ko." Sorry to all my friends for all the hassle that my invitation brought to you. I am so proud of this thing as I was really hands-on when it comes to working everything out for my invitation. It went to 7-8 revisions before it got approved. After I got the first batch, I was so so so happy, like literally! That's one of the happiest days of my life! Oooops kidding! HAHAHAHA OA

My party may not be as cool as the other parties that you could say "better" than mine, but I am so proud that I was able to come up with the party I had 2 and a half years ago. Thanks to all the people who liked it. I put every single effort that I could put for that. Most especially, thanks to my family and friends who were there to support and celebrate with me. Yay!

Ps. When it comes to gowns, I highly recommend Cocoy Lizaso! He is now my family's current designer and I really really love him! My mom and I met him days before my debut. Now, when I attend debut parties, I usually run to him as he makes gowns and dresses neat and professionally done! He now makes gowns of some celebrities like Regine Velasquez, Kyla, Jennylyn Mercado, Kim Chiu et al. He is so nice to work with and will surely include all your thoughts about the gown or dress that you like. Trust me, when it comes to the perfect fit, drapes, stitches, and of course design, I can say that now, he is one of the best!
