7. What drew you to writing your current character(s)?

♠ Alex was an old oc of mine that I've been rping for years with different names until I stayed with the current one. I wanted her to be the kind of girl who is herself, allowing herself to be happy, having hard time, etc. She isn't stuck in what is written, she decides herself.

"I didn't get you anything for your birthday." Xiao turns his head away to hide his sheepishness.

"...Okay, I did. Here," the Yaksha presents a garnished plate of almond tofu with a candle adorned atop, he grabs Aether by the arm and hurriedly places the gift in his hand. Xiao quickly turns his back towards Aether, not wanting the birthday boy to see the slight hesitation in his face.

After a small pause, he utters, "If you would like some company for your birthday, I can... stick around for a while."

“Xiao, if you’re gonna lie try to make it credible..” The blonde was grinning at his friend.

That exactly what he said, not credible. He didn’t have the time to tease him that the Yaksha already grabbed him by the arm to only get something in his hands. Looking at what it was, he only lets out a chuckle, someone wanted to share his favourite food with him and with a candle on top. How cute he was acting all flustered, only made him wants to tease his friend.

But he hold back and smiled. “Then, do you want to hang out with me and share the almond tofu?”

She should have asked more questions, she realized. The pink haired half Adepti was on her feet since half an hour away from Liyue, wondering. Normally she wasnt like that, doing things without question twice, but since it was Morax himself, she didnt.

Unlike the other Adepti she didnt signed a contract with him, but he still had her loyality. So why she hadnt questioned, who will join her on her travel and... where? She looked around, a bit confused and lost, moving to search for the map to look on the route she has to take.

"Heh." The director laughs out upon hearing the Yaksha yell for his dear life. Seem she found his weak spot and will put it to good, personal use. Hu Tao doesn't even try to mask the smirk that is painted upon her face. This is all just another one of her pranks and his reactions were flawless.

✦ ~ Sitting down at the Angel share, A certain bard found himself drinking his whine to the archons content, thanks to a certain bar owner not being around the male found himself enjoying what he loved the most without any disturbances.  However Venti never thought at this time he would honestly meet a new guest in the Tavern either, for as when he heard that bell chime against the door. of this entrance of this fine establishment, it wasn’t long before the song souled bard found himself looking over at the other male with curiosity.  “Ehe, welcome to the angel share, say buddy are you new around here, I don’t think I've see you around these parts?” He says this as the male takes yet again another sip from his glass.

What is an AU you really want to play with your muse?

WELL SINCE YOU ASKED!!! I actually have two I would adore to deep dive into.  One is one that I developed  with @idrottore​ . It dove into the concept that a because of crack that led to the Abyss that Childe fell into, the whole village has been slowly exposed to Abyss taint and each generation of children born there are slightly mutated and attain traits of abyss creatures. Like Teucer for example can see ley lines and its why he never lets lost when he adventures.   As it goes, Dottore catches wind about this village and Childe’s family affinty for adapting to the abyss peeks his interest. Eventually leading to dark path and Teucer becoming a small Geo Abyss mage.  The SECOND ONE is, Cryo Archon! Teucer.  I love love love this one. If The cryo  archon always had to be child and just the idea of Fatui being the ones to actually run Snezhnaya, because their archon is to young and holds love for all even thoughs who would wish harm upon their home. So they become this fearful power house and people spread rumors their archon is cold as the ice they make.  Just the idea of Teucer arriving in Liyue still, looking for Childe. Leaving a little ice trail because he doesn’t have full control of his powers and likes to slide on the ice even though he’s been told not to. Him pouting and stomping on the ground creating huge jutting icicles that are quickly crushed by Zhongli who scolds him.  It has the chance to be super cute, but also very sad if think of how the each Harbinger could manipulate their young archon.  What advice would you give to a new RPer?

Oh gosh...  Be open to all kinds of muses. Like I love and adore my Venti but Teucer is such an amazing muse to be. So challgening to compose up ideas for various characters. But also, take care of yourself and your partners. This is simple really. Take time for yourself and allow your partners to do the same. Don’t send them things expecting a reply, send them things cause it reminded you of them! Send them things because you respect them or they are your friend.  Be open to listening all ideas and accept that not every muse is going to click or want to interact.  That’s ok! It’s ok to not want to or not to interact with some muses. This isn’t a comment on your skills but just a mis click! That’s ok! Just keep going and don’t get hung up on it!!  HAVE FUN!!! Don’t strive to be other’s special muse or be the “best”. If you can smile and have fun with the threads you write. Then you are doing just fine!

So, of course, she knew he was there... Behind the bookcase. After such a.... Strange exclamation, she turns her head towards him.

“Aiya, Xiao~? I’m so glad to see you!” She gives him a smile. “Aw, were you trying to prank me? Too bad for you, if you were to erase your karma you might’ve gotten me.~”

The funeral parlor director would have never guessed he genuinely enjoyed seeing her. She believed he found her to be a nuisance, though perhaps she was being blinded by her own heart. There was an air about Xiao that pulled her in, though she always resisted it because… well, he was a Yaksha. Was falling in love with someone that hated with a passion really her best bet? Yet, he was more than just that to her.

Besides, Xiao was cute. Real cute.

Hu Tao had followed behind him, teasingly pulling out a chair for him. “For you, my lady,” she let out a small giggle, though it was obvious she didn’t have anything planned up her sleeve. She merely wanted to see his reaction.

His words had caused her face to redden. He was thinking about her? Pleased to have her here? Okay, now there was NO WAY she could resist teasing him. “Aiya, you better not have been thinking perverse things, Xiao~” an even more sinister chuckle left her lips. No matter if she was giggling or laughing, her voice always remained light.

“I’ll place our orders and then we can get back to chatting!” Her enthusiasm never seemed to run out, either. When she was sure he couldn’t see or hear her, she smiled. “I’m really glad I’m able to be here with you, too.” She then disappeared completely, going to Yanxiao directly would get their orders on his radar a lot faster than if someone came over to waitress them.

After a small period of time passed, she appeared once again. “I’m back. Did ya miss me~?”

Happy Birthday, Ganyu!

Xiao, after searching all over Mt. Aocang, had finally managed to locate Ganyu sitting alone near a lake when he approached her, "Ah! Ganyu! I am pleased to have found you when I did. Today is the anniversary of your birth, is it not? It's customary to bestow a gift for this occasion, right?

Given our longevity, the significance of this human concept has little to no meaning to us adepti in the grand scheme of things, but I figure it has some meaning to you.

At first, I wasn't entirely sure what to collect for you; after all, we adepti live extraordinary lives... what does one truly bestow upon us that would leave an impression? That is a question even I do not know, nor have I put much thought into, to be perfectly honest.

But then I recalled your affinity for flowers—specifically those of the sweet variety, but I could not help but feel that I needed to find something... different.

I knew of a village to the north where flowers bloomed all over—Qingce Village it was called, so I made it a point to stop by there. Sure enough there were flowers all over just as I had previously envisioned, but there was one flower in particular that caught my eye—a Glaze Lily.

It truly is a remarkable flower; it stood tall among the sea of common flowers with its beautiful blue hue, yet—it also looked out of place. I could not help but feel that you must feel the same way whenever you're among the sea of people in the city.

I thought I was being covert when I initially picked the flower, only to be met by two children curious about my presence which then turned into nearly the entire village approaching me! It was... uncomfortable to say the least, but they showed no hostility towards me. In fact, they seemed rather cheerful that someone new had entered their village.

The elderly ones were able to distinguish that I was an adeptus, and immediately began assisting me in gathering the rest of the lilies when I explained the reasoning for my visitation."

"So here," Xiao pulled out a single Glaze Lily from behind his back, placing it onto Ganyu's hair before presenting her with a bundle of the rest of the lilies he and the villagers had picked together.

"What's the terminology they use for this commemoration? Ah! I remember! Happy birthday, Ganyu!" he smiled.

🪐: my favorite genshin ship of all time is ofc huxiao. as you already know haha, n. yes, even if they’re opposites there is a lot more to it which makes it my favorite. although, i wont go on a long ramble about it unless it is desired.

☁️: my favorite familial relationship has to be hu tao and zhongli. yes, i know they’re not blood related but zhongli reminds hu tao of her grandfather so much and it is so sweet. as for platonic, hmmm, not completely certain about it.

Albedo loved turning the unknown into the known. This is the reason why he chose to visit Liyue for a bit. For a fresh breath of air. In pursuit of such a thing, he ended up finding this area from Liyue Harbor with the help of some locals.

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and tempted the Chalk Prince to pull out his sketchpad and begin drawing. He resisted as he was more focused on the individual at the moment.

His gloved hand grabs onto his own chin showing that he was thinking about something. From the other's appearance they seemed quite unique, he is quite intrigued to know more about the other. The alchemist perks up when the stranger replies to him. Upon hearing them, he starts waving his hand dismissively.

"Goodness no, I would never associate with them," Albedo replies.

"I am someone who turns the unknown into the known... I am an alchemist to put it simply," Albedo states, staring up into the sky. "What about you? I assume you are neither a researcher or a treasure hoarder?"

He is now eyeing the other with great curiosity.

;;~ Glancing over at the Yaksha, the Traveler paused for a slight moment, She looked surprise the male held a gift in his hands like this. Standing on the balcony of the Wangshu Inn Lumine leaned on the railing as she glanced at Xiao to the side before decided to facing him. 

With a soft smile she held the holiday gift in her hands fore a moment and heard his explanation. Though little did he know she also had a gift for him this time of the season. It seemed to be custom in Liyue to exchange gifts to friends and love ones, and so Lumine worked hard to make something for him that she knew he couldn’t resist.

After being handed the gift Lumine giggled and held the star closed her heart leaning over really quick she decided to give the Yaksha a kiss on the cheek before placing a bowl in his hands.

 “Happy holidays Xiao, and thank you as well, I love it... Though I know it’s not much, I made these with you in mind, I hope you like them.” She commented out sweetly.

 She decided to make two special things for him. One his absolute favorite. Almond tofu. and two a side of the Sweet Madame he liked so much in Mondstadt. It may have no been much but she knew he didn’t exactly like human things or even to many traditions. but they say 

The best Gift comes from the heart, and spending time with ones you care about on these types of days. Standing here she was happy to spend this holiday with him as is. As the small snow flakes began to furry around the air , here and there.
