~#14: Dream Mode: Magnum Opus!!! ~

O!!!!

The Magnificence of Images pouring into my synapses is a revelation!!!

I lie awake through the night dreaming of the infinite possibilities that awaken in my path. The call of funding and a production team at my bidding, and, more importantly I suspect, those who are here IN STATEMENT OF SUPPORT OF OUR VISION has weakened the bonds between this world and the world of visions.

Allow me to lead you through the palatial gardens of my mind, for this is only the beginning of the Supported MAGNUM OPUS*, (finally no semi-colon, no subtitle attached). I will do my best to be a coherent tour guide through this marvelous world unfolding. See this small map of my mind Palace/Gardens, and use it as your guide:

*this supported iteration calls for a consistent use of CAPITALIZATION I think.

A) COLOR: A Dream Realm

“And o, what wondrous colors did I see, whilst with closéd eyes I dreamt Faerie”

-Whispers from the Void

I begin my visioning with living waking color Dreams. This time they came to me as I traversed the elevated train line above that deeply rich and so deeply foul merging of the city and the earth, the Gowanus Canal. As I descended the train to hand in my notice to one of my no-longer-needed drudgery appointments, I passed a window of light:

My eye was caught by pinks and pales against the stark frame of the window, against the bold creation of the MTA, that iron artery that carries us all from building to building, each the expression of some fortunate dreamer and their captured team of executors.

Beyond the iron artery is the delicate pink and lavender of a midday dawn, and fainting, pressing, swooning, against the panes were tender vines of ivy, and so lightly tapping their soft music to the careful listener.

O!! O Void!! How can I believe in emptiness when there such beauty unfolds itself to me? I wrap myself in these colors, in this softness to share with you all for my MAGNUM OPUS, and to share with you the joy of Nature pressing itself with delicate fingers at the subconscious soul of the city.

I postponed my journey to resign from my hostess position and hurried to my painting kit, to record the beauty I beheld:

This Color imaging is but one of many I produced that night, although I have added text in digital form to this one to help those accustomed to relating to a screen to adjust. This modest sample painting brings us to our next destination in the garden.

B) GARB/RAIMENT:

Decadence, delicacy, finery

Hiding our awkwardness in layers and layers of beauty but not being able still to deny the awkwardness that exists

A self that shines through layers of artifice

A self that is delicate and confident

Fierce and ferocious

Full of wonder

C) INSPIRATION IN THE WORLD:

O friends, I will take this moment to thank deeply and soulfully the blessings that have allowed me financial leeway. I know now that I will sally forth into the new world, the world of creation and of and opening in the cycle.

There will be the kiss and blessing of nature contained, then uncontained.

Flowers will spill out of the car.

The car will contain and transport this beauty and change.

The natural and the industrial come together to support the human body, to create something new and beautiful, to transport Celine to her next change of state.

O Friends,

For now I must Fly! I have more visioning to share, more thoughts to develop, but for now, I will journey forward. I will attend to my own visions and thoughts, I will discover what the vast void of the world has for me to share.

Dear God(dess), 

i’m just thankful. i took a much needed moment to get out into the world, to put my feet on the ground and breathe in some fresh air with my pup. it was hotter than hell, but so beautiful. i realize i have so much for which to be thankful and i am. i have my family, both blood and chosen. i have my friends, the sisters (and brothers) of my heart. i have my health and my job. i have abundance. i’m fortunate. and my people support and love me, in word and deed. it’s a marvelous feeling.

Dear God(dess), 

I guess we’re on our way? We pulled the little strings and I’m free, free at last and my body will do what it will, I guess. I’m fucking terrified, but my mom keeps saying that God doesn’t create mouths he can’t feed. I’m not sure I believe her sentiment, bu I get what she’s trying to say. Where there is a will, there is a way. And so we wait. I’m scared. I’m nervous. It’s a lot. All of the fear and hard work... it’s temporary. all things change, all things grow. Aaaahhhh, please help me find peace in doing this for the greater good of our family and my girl. or, just let me find peace in knowing I'm about to fuck up the flow of our daily life so we’ll have to find a new balance all over again. It is both exhilarating and terrifying. it is both incredible and fucking foolish. It is both a dream and a nightmare. 

but I don’t want her to be alone. I don’t want to go on without knowing. and if it’s not meant to be, well, we cross that bridge too. I’m laying it in your hands, giving it up to the universe. What will be will e and we will navigate it to the best of our abilities. 

Please help him realize he isn't just helping/ he’s essential. please help her realize that we did it for love of her. please let us all find our balance. please help me stay afloat and enjoy this one more than the first go-round. Let me find peace in the strength of my body and the magic it can create. I know we will struggle at some point; please help me not sturggle so hard this time around from the jump. Please help me find my wellspring of love and nurturing abilities. I do and i don’t want this. Help me find comfort in giving in to the universe and knowing that what will be will be.
