RULES

INTRODUCTION. if you've made it this far, you're probably wondering why I suddenly changed blogs without any notice on my old blog. The truth is: I locked myself out like a silly little goose. So here I am once again, and hopefully this time for a longer period.

FOLLOWING. As per my previous blog, I made this one to enjoy interactions with people I've been writing with for a long time. That doesn't mean I'm not open to new interactions, but I won't be begging for any and I will not be following first. That being said, if we know eachother, hey!

ACTIVITY. This blog will be low activity due to being a new mom. I am, however, always available on discord for plotting and/or short threads.

DASH. I don't really care for aesthetic, I don't use icons and I couldn't care less about what you do, so long as you cut posts and don't use too many spaces between words in replies to me.

TRIGGERS. I tag basic triggers and any triggers you ask me to tag. Format: "trigger" tw. This blog may contain mentions of incest (as prevalent to the world of ASOIAF, not to be romanticized), violence, depression, crime. Any type of bigotry or discriminatory behavior is not welcome.

🔥 i will never, ever, ever, ever get over the bollywood episode of legends of tomorrow. i respect that there are people who loved it. however, i am not one of those people and thought it was atrocious. for a show that touts itself to be progressive and diverse, it's still making a lot of missteps and it still hasn't righted that particular wrong in my eyes. because instead of taking inspiration from the actual story, they had a “magical fugitive” called sunjay take the mantle of a deity and use the ashes of said deity to induce lust outbreaks. which shouldn’t have been possible because after kamadeva got incinerated by shiva he got resurrected in a bodyless form (hence the nicknames ananga and athanu, which literally means “without a body” or “incorporeal”) and his essence got spread across the cosmos so even though the wikia says he took the ashes, that’s not at all possible! oh my gosh, why can’t these writers fucking google shit? it’s so blatantly obvious that they don’t respect indian culture. or any type of culture that isn’t their own because, yes, i also have issues with ray palmer going to japan and becoming a samurai. and i also hate the storylines that were given to jax and kendra.

🔥 i am both glad and sad that jinx - one of dcs few indian characters (dolphin, jaina hudson, kiran singh, arani desai, roshanna chatterji, aruna shende, chandi gupta, rakshashi) - wasn't used in the arrowverse in general and in sg in season 4 when they had a (nameless?) indian girl playing a villain with diabetes who turned herself in because i'm sure the writers wouldn't have written that character with the grace and finesse and love she deserves to be written.

🔥 did you know that the original white canary was chinese? she's related to the twelve brothers in silk, and she was a villain to dinah lance and i think that she could have been so compelling but alas the white canary was literally white washed and her title was given away. i mean, i would watch a show where og white canary infiltrates the lance family on her dad's orders in order to take out dinah, only to find a true family with the lance's or something cheesy like that. don't know if that'd work given comics canon and everything but at this point i'm just like (shrug emoji) because i think og white canary is cool and she deserves better than to have her name / title stolen.

🔥 i know you only sent three flames but i also need to rant about my boy wade rivers real quick. like, first off: his name is a pun worthy of warren peace from sky high (2005)! wade rivers. wading into rivers. wading through rivers. second of all: i hate the way he’s written in legacies canon and i wish someone would pick him up and give him the love he deserves. but until he is, it’s canon to me that he and udyati are besties and they hang out and research the faerie courts and aliens and watch critical role together while munching on honey sweet (wade) and salty (udyati) snacks.

🔥 more people should either make verses for or just write characters from the masterpiece that is sky high (2005) in my humble opinion and i’m not just saying that because i wrote magenta lewis-queen for the longest time, had a short lived sky high multi muse, and now have freeze girl on a blog out there somewhere! ;)

🔥 i’m still angry about the fact that the creators of avatar: the last airbender took so many concepts and ideas from indian culture and they gave us three indian characters, two of whom were villains, leaving the third one to be a mockery of a guru. also, if i remember correctly, none of them were voiced by indian voice actors. i am hoping beyond hope that the tv show does things better. because we deserve better.

Does your descriptive writing change with each muse, do they influence the way that you narrate and use language?

MUNDAY STYLES AND PREFERENCES

I sure hope it does! I mean, it would change naturally too, without too much effort on my part, because I write very different muses who deal with very different themes. But it's also a deliberate process to better reflect each muse's state of mind, mannerisms, etc. One of my fears in curating a multimuse blog is actually that all my muses sort of blend together and it's difficult to tell them apart because they all sound the same. So, I sure hope there's a noticeable difference in my writing, descriptive or otherwise, when I switch from one to another.

             They are. There is always something about the stars that draws Helena in, that makes her yearn to reach out for them. For all that they know, for all the knowledge they have amassed in the name of building a school for magic, no one know what lies above them. There’s just ancient stories about gods and myths and a boy who flew so close to the sun his wax wings melted right off. They say it’s a lesson on how you should not dare go where gods dwell but do they really? Do gods really sit that far up above us, their position in the firmament meant to help guide us if only someone can read their meaning?

My Opinion on;

Character in general: not to be that person but to definitely be that person amitai (anthony) goldstein is my favorite out of all of your muses because of the brotp he had going on with padma patil. but i also genuinely like every other muse you write because they're all so different but you make it work every single time, you just knock it out of the park, writing all of them! <3 How they play them: amazingly. it doesn't matter whether i know the character (canon or oc) or not, i know that - whoever they are - they're safe in bubbles' hands. i know that bubbles will give them their well deserved due. The Mun: aah! my fellow dutchie! ilysm! you're so smart and funny and you're great to talk to! i'm honored that we're writing partners and i'm very glad that we're friendos! <3

             Elia can’t help the giggle that leaves her lips, eyes looking up at him kindly, a hand softly tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. Some part of her does seem to love him, does seem to want to lose herself in those Targaryen eyes, the ones that seemed so bizarre to her when she first saw him. It feels like so long ago and just yesterday at the same time. What a journey they have both been thrown onto.

That I am the whole world? ❞  It feels like the eye of the storm, like the whole world outside is raging, inching ever closer to war while Dragonstone enjoys its island status to remain as neutral as possible, to sit out of court politics for as long as possible. Amelia hated mistletoe.

In Primary School, she had learned about mistletoe from her brother and had been convinced her first kiss would be under mistletoe. Now, in Hogwarts, she learned that Wizarding Mistletoe was actually rather tricky. It had the added bonus of locking you in place with the person who stood beside you. There was no choosing if you wanted to kiss that person, there was only doing it to escape the confides of the plant. So, it was no surprise that some students liked to hang it around in certain places to trap others in place.

She wasn’t sure how she ended up in this situation with Peter, she had just been walking out of Potions class and had been attempting to balance her books in her hands. Either someone pushed him, someone pushed her, or a combination of the two, and now they were stuck.

“Oh...sorry about this, Peter.” Amelia hummed, her cheeks flushed red as she pressed her books to her chest. “S-Should...I mean...a cheek kiss would work if you don’t want...”
