This fic was written for @deanwanddamons Three’s a Crowd 3K Followers Challenge. My quote - “I mean, accidents just don’t happen accidentally” will be in bold. My trope - Opposites Attract (Rich girl/Blue collar Dean). And my Third Wheel - Parents (in this case a very snobbish disapproving mother). Sian, I hope I did your Sian Special justice! 😁
Pairing: Dean x Reader
Word Count: 2952
Warnings: Nothing but the usual smut
The awesome dividers are from the amazing @talesmaniac89

“Dean, you look like a stalker.”
Dean geared back in his chair, shooting his brother a disparaging look. “Just appreciating the scenery, Sammy. Unlike you who can’t tear their eyes away from that fascinating research.” His eyes wandered back to the girl in line at the window for coffee, the breeze stirring her hair and the skirt of her sun dress. “How can you not notice her? She’s a beauty, and she looks like a classy chick.”
Sam snorted. “Yeah, classy chicks always go for guys like us.”
Dean smirked, looking at Sam with challenge in his eyes. “So you don’t think she’d be interested in me?”
“No way. Looks like a little rich girl, and I bet that’s her mom with her, in the Jackie O suit, all that’s missing is the pillbox hat. She’d shoot you down before you even got close to her daughter.”
“Oh, yeah? Well, we’ll see about that.” Dean rose to his feet, turning after a step to look back and shake his head. “By the way, nice fashion assessment, Samantha.”
“Shut up,” Sam fired back, bitch face aimed at Dean’s back as his brother’s bow-legged stride carried him closer to his target.

You waited patiently at the counter for your coffee order and your mother’s cup of tea to be finished. It was a gorgeous spring day, the sun warm on your shoulders, and you watched, trying not to roll your eyes as your mother pulled a tissue from her purse and disdainfully brushed at some invisible thing on her chair. She hadn’t wanted to stop at an outdoor coffee spot, but you loved to sit outside and enjoy coffee here. She’d live. Your mother needed to loosen up.
You shook your head, watching her gingerly perch herself on her chair, and you couldn’t help smiling. Not that you didn’t love her, but you were glad you had moved far enough away that you didn’t have to be under her scrutiny every day. The barista came to the window with your order, and you payed them, leaving a generous tip. You turned, coffee in one hand and your mother’s tea in the other, and collided with a tall man, gasping as both drinks hit the pavement, splashing all over the previously pristine white of your dress and the denim he was wearing.
“Oh, damn, I’m sorry. Are you okay?”  You stood there, mouth open, eyes slowly scanning upwards as he spoke.
Your gaze made its way over his solid chest and broad shoulders, finally reaching his face. Your brain nudged you to close your mouth, and you did, finally nodding and forcing words out. “Yes. Yes, I’m fine.” My God, he was a stunning man – perfect hair, sexy lips, long-lashed eyes that were a stunning shade of green.
“I’m really sorry. Tripped over my own feet. Let me buy you some more coffee.” He grabbed a handful of napkins from the counter, bending to dab a little at your skirt, handing them to you as you reached for them. “I’ll pay for your cleaning bill. Sure you’re okay?”
You managed to smile up at him, and his eyes lit up. “I’m good, I promise. Nothing that can’t be fixed.”
You returned to the counter together, reordering your drinks, and Dean paid, offering to bring them to your table. Your mother watched, her expression tight and disapproving, as you approached. “Mom, this is Dean. We had a little collision and he gallantly offered to buy our drinks.”
Dean placed your mother’s tea in front of her, nodding towards her as he spoke. “Ma’am. Nice to meet you. Sorry for the trouble. I’ll pay for the cleaning bill.”
You sat down, thanking him as he set your coffee on the table. “Thank you, it’s really not necessary. It was an accident.”
“No, I insist. I can – meet you back here in the morning? I don’t have any cash on me today, but I’ll still be around tomorrow, if that works?”
You deliberately ignored your mother’s glare as you answered. “All right, I can meet you here, around 9? I come here for coffee most days, anyway.” You smiled up at him and he returned the favor, nodding in agreement.
“9 it is! See you then.” With another nod to your mother, he turned to walk away, and you happily watched, finally turning back to your mother’s reproachful stare.
“Mom. Please stop. He feels bad about what happened and he’s trying to be nice.”
She cleared her throat and picked up her tea, taking a sip before speaking. “He seems rather disreputable.”
You rolled your eyes in response. “Mother, anyone not in you and Daddy’s club seems ‘disreputable’ to you. I think he seems very nice.”
“I am concerned about you, living in the middle of this city, being influenced by all the – eccentric types who live in this neighborhood. You should have gone back to school like we wanted, gotten your masters degree instead of this job of yours. You should be dating a suitable boy by now, thinking about your future. Instead, you’re wasting your time exploring and absorbing all sorts of God knows what kind of ideas, and by the time you realize we were right all along, it may be too late. We would like you to come home.”
“That’s not going to happen, Mother. You and Daddy need to accept that and accept that I’m living my life the way I want to, not the way you have tried to dictate. And don’t threaten me about my trust fund, I don’t want to hear it. Just drink your tea and let’s try to enjoy our day.”
Tumblr media
Sam looked up as Dean approached their table with a grin. “Guess who’s meeting little rich girl here tomorrow morning?”
His younger brother shook his head with a wry smile. “Yeah. Very smooth, Dean.” He stood, grabbing his laptop to head towards the parking lot, and Dean swatted him on the shoulder as he walked beside him.
“Takes planning. I mean, accidents just don’t happen accidentally, Sammy.”
Tumblr media
Dean arrived a little early the next morning, settling in with his Americano and his phone. He wanted to be there when you showed up, watch you walk into the seating area, take in your presence, enjoy it all before he approached you. Hopefully you’d show up without your mom. She was definitely not a fan.
When you came around the corner, he almost choked on his coffee. You were wearing a flowered halter dress, your toes tipped in red to match, your eyes shining as you said something to – unfortunately – your mother. You walked directly to the counter, and he debated, then headed your way.
“Morning, sunshine,” he said quietly, bending close to your ear, and you turned to him with a smile.
“Dean! Good morning! Looks like you beat us here. We just couldn’t get going this morning.”
You put a hand on Dean’s arm as you talked, not mentioning the fact that the reason you were almost late was that your mother had argued with you for over an hour about coming at all. You had finally put your foot down and told her you were going, but she insisted that if you were meeting this ‘shady character,’ then she was going to be there.
Your drinks were ready, so you paid the barista and handed your mother’s tea to her with a pointed stare. “Please just go sit, Mother, I’ll be there in a minute.” Obviously displeased, she took the cup from your hand and went to the same table you had occupied the day before, disapproval clear even though not a word was spoken. “Sorry about that. She has very antiquated ideas about – well, about everything. Including letting her daughter lead her own life. You’d think I was 16 years old.”
Dean laughed softly. “I get it. She’s just trying to protect you. Gotta admit, though, I was hoping you’d show up without her today.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out some folded bills. “Here. For the cleaning. Like I promised.”
“Dean, really, you don’t…” You stopped as he shook his head and pushed the money back towards you. “All right, if it makes you feel better. But it’s really not necessary.”
“I think it is. Anyway – it was really nice meeting you. Maybe someday I’ll come this way again and find you here.”
“Maybe…” You looked up through your lashes at him. “Or maybe you can meet me, say – in one hour? The bookstore on the corner. In the basement. I’ll put my mother in the reading lounge with a cup of tea and then I’ll meet you down there. If you want.”
A slow smile curved his lips, his eyes warm. “Oh, I’ll be there, sunshine.”
Tumblr media
About 45 minutes later, Dean entered the book store, wandering until he found a sign reading ‘Vintage Books’ pointing the way to the stairs. The basement was huge, filled with bookshelves, tables and bins full of used books, grouped by genre. Dean smirked to himself, thinking how much Sammy would love this place.
There was no one down there, so Dean walked around, picking up a book here and there, killing time. He had made his way to the far corner of the room, engrossed in reading the back of a book, when you walked up beside him. “Figures I’d find you in this section,” you teased, and he grinned, glancing at the sign – ‘Erotica.’
“Huh. Thought this was the ‘Historical’ section,” he responded with a grin, and you laughed softly.
“Right. Of course you did.” He replaced the book on the shelf and turned towards you, his eyes moving over your features, waiting. The room suddenly seemed airless, and you moved a step closer, stretching up to kiss his lips, soft and tentative. When you stopped, looking up at him, his tongue darted out over his bottom lip before he put his hands on your upper arms and pulled you close, his lips sealing over yours in a searing kiss that sent your pulse racing, heat flushing through your body. When your tongues began to mingle, you raised your arms to clasp around his neck, his large hands guiding you, moving you until your back was against the bookcase as his body pressed close. He was a solid mass of muscle, working man’s muscle, smooth and taut and powerful, and being pinned by him like that sent an electric zing right to your clit, making you moan.
He finally lifted his head, both of you panting for air. You looked into his lust-darkened eyes for a moment before putting your hand on his chest and pushing lightly. He took a step back and watched as you reached behind your neck and untied your halter dress, bringing the ties forward and letting the floral fabric fall to your waist, baring your breasts. Dean’s jaw clenched as his eyes devoured you, and then he looked into your eyes, waiting for your slight smile to tell him it was okay to continue.
He ran calloused fingers over your soft curves, staring almost reverently, before cupping them in his hands. You gripped the shelf behind you as he strummed his fingers over your nipples, watching them stiffen into hard little nubs. Your head hit the bookshelf behind you with a thump as he took a nipple into his mouth, his tongue teasing, flicking, lapping at you until you felt dizzy. The throbbing ache between your thighs intensified as he began to suck gently, and you blushed at the sounds forcing their way from between your lips.
He finally pulled back, blowing over the spit-slick bud, making it tighten even more. “Fucking gorgeous,” he muttered, then moved to the other side, and you whined, your fingers gripping his hair.
“Dean, ohmygod,” you whispered, and you could feel his lips curve into a smile as he continued to tease at your nipple, his hands gripping your waist. He nibbled at the peak, and the almost-painful throb in your pussy was more than you could take. “Please… Dean, please. I need…”
He pulled off your breast with a soft pop, raising up to his full height. “What do you need, sweetheart? I’m more than happy to help.” His beautiful green eyes were almost black with want, but he was going to make you ask before he went any further.
“Need you… inside me. Fuck me, Dean, please,” you begged, and he clenched his teeth, pulling in a hissing breath as your hand found the aching bulge in his jeans. “Please.”
He nodded, and the expression on his face made you clench around nothing, almost desperate now for him. He pulled a condom from his pocket, tearing it open with his teeth and then fumbling with his button and zipper, sighing in relief as his cock was finally freed from its confines. He shoved his clothes down far enough to free himself, rolling the condom on as you watched, wide-eyed and wanting.
Dean pulled at the skirt of your sun dress, lifting it out of his way as his fingers stroked up your inner thigh. You moved your legs apart, reveling in his surprised moan at finding no underwear barring his way. “Fuck, sweetheart,” he said, his large hand kneading at your pussy, your hips pushing into his touch.
“Took them off before I came down,” you whispered, then gasped as he slipped two fingers inside you, his thumb swirling around your swollen clit. He found your sweet spot in no time, and had you trembling and on the edge so fast your head was spinning. He pulled his fingers free, leaving you panting and clutching at the bookshelves until your knuckles were white. “Please. Dean, please!”
He leaned in to kiss you, stealing what little breath you had left, his hands moving around to the back of your thighs to lift you, letting you wrap your legs around his hips. “Hold on, baby,” he ground out, waiting until you were clinging to his neck before moving a hand down between you, angling his cock to your entrance and pushing in slowly.
There was a silent, quivering space of time as he held you, waiting for your trembling body to adjust, the sensation almost overwhelming. When he felt you begin to relax against him, he gripped you tight and pulled back slightly, then drove up into you, groaning, “Fuck, sweetheart, you feel so damn good.”
He continued to move slowly, and you clutched his shoulders, leaning in to breathe, “Fuck me, Dean,” into his ear. The moan that you got in response made your cunt squeeze around him, and with a soft growl he began driving into you, your body braced against the bookcase behind you, your legs clamped around his hips. He was punching breathless cries from you with every thrust, and you could only hope that no one else had come downstairs, because the blissful tension in your body was building to the point of oblivion. “Dean… aaahhh… I can’t…”
“Come for me, sweetheart, just let go. Squeeze that pretty cunt around my cock, come on…” His rhythm was faltering, his voice desperate. He buried himself deep inside you, holding himself there as he shoved his hand between you to rub rough fingers over your clit, and you bit your lips to smother the scream trying to escape from your throat as you came. Dean began to move again, his head buried in your shoulder, pistoning into you hard and fast as he worked you through your orgasm and reached his, bucking against you as his balls drew up tight and he exploded.
The throbbing of his cock inside you sent another wave of heat through you, and you clung to Dean with all your strength, your body shaking. He raised his head, looking into your eyes for a moment before kissing you, slow and deep, until you quieted. Then he took a step back, his hands on your waist as he lifted you slightly, pulling himself free and sending a shudder through you.
He set you on your feet, supporting you until he was sure you were steady, a soft smile on his face. He moved away for a moment, grabbing a tissue from a nearby desk and disposing of the condom, putting himself back together before coming back, a wistful look in his eyes. “I wish we had more time.”
You smiled back, your eyes closing for a moment as he bent to place a gentle kiss to each nipple before pulling your dress back up and tying the knot behind your neck. “Thank you,” you whispered.
He put a hand to your face, that same tender look on his face. “You’re so beautiful, sweetheart. Glad I – um – ran into you.”
You laughed quietly. “Me, too. Maybe sometime you’ll be back this way when my mother isn’t here. Maybe we could run into each other again.”
Dean grinned. “That’d be nice.” He pulled his phone from his pocket and handed it to her. “Put your number in. Next time I make it this way I’ll give you a call.”
You did as he asked, then stepped close and stretched up for a kiss. “Maybe we’ll go for coffee.”
“Maybe we’ll do a lot of things.” He kissed you again, cupping your breast and squeezing gently.
After the long, lingering kiss, you stepped back reluctantly. “I’d better go. She’ll be getting impatient.” You reach for his hand. “Take care of yourself, Dean.”
“You, too, sweetheart.” He watched you as you left, then looked at his phone, smiling as he saw your number and the name next to it – ‘Sunshine.’

Tumblr media
Title: XOXO, Me Summary: Where reality meets fictions dreams can be made and nightmares will develop. Please read the warnings before reading.
He was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. He was the beacon of light that guided wayward ships through the night. He loved with all his heart and fiercely protected those around him. He was everything I ever wanted in a man.
“Are you ready?”
The man across from me was wearing a cheap business suit. Her love would never be caught dead in a suit like that. He had class and taste.
“Where would you like me to begin?” I asked, looking down at my hands resting on the table.
Glancing up I watched him smile politely, “From the beginning of course.”
Five Years Earlier
“Are you sure this is okay?” I asked.
(Y/N) (Y/L/N) smiled widely, “For the final time, yes. I cleared it with Jensen yesterday.”
My stomach fluttered hearing his name. When (Y/N) found out my favorite actor was her childhood best friend, she immediately set up a time for me to meet him. We were on our way back to her apartment to make dinner for the three of us.
“Do… Do I look alright?” I pulled on my black tank beneath my favorite red flannel.
“You look great. Don’t be nervous. Jensen is a regular guy and I’m really hoping my two friends will become great friends on their own. Don’t think of him as a celebrity.”
I scoffed, “That’s easier said than done.”
(Y/N) pulled into her parking spot and turned towards her, “Everything will be fine. I have a good feeling about all of this.”
Present Day
(Y/N) was right. The evening was one of the best in my life. The three of us drank and laughed and ended up in a snuggle pile on the floor. Jensen was the perfect gentleman and I fell more in love with him.
“When did things change?”
My eyes snapped up to his, “About a year ago. I noticed (Y/N) and him were getting… closer.”
“That upset you?”
I nodded, not wanting to talk about it.
“Part of the deal is you tell me the truth. All of it.”
“I know.” I clenched my jaw, “Yes. He and I had an understanding then he started being with her more and more.”
I watched him jot down a few notes on his notepad, “Is that when you came up with your plan?”
I nodded again, looking towards the small window in the room. The sun was shining in spreading warmth over her skin.
One Year Earlier
I parked my car in its normal spot. I spotted (Y/N) walking in front of the floor to ceiling windows. She was wearing one of his shirts again. I looked closer to see it was my favorite shirt from Jensen's. As I thought of his name he appeared in front of the window. The golden rays from the sun kissed his tan skin.
When I was going to get out of my car, I watched Jensen pressed (Y/N) against the glass. His hands sliding down to her ass squeezing each cheek. His lips trailing down (Y/N)’s body until I could no longer see his face. Her back arched off the glass as his hands pulled down her panties.
My heart was cracking into a million pieces watching the two people I loved the most being intimate. (Y/N) never told me she had said yes to Jensen when he asked her out. She never asked me if I was with him or wanted to be with him. She should have known that I wanted to be with him. How many times had I told her how special he was to me. How he had saved me.
I continued to watch him bring her immense pleasure. The desire for me to be in her place pooling in the pit of my stomach. It was supposed to be me standing there. It was supposed to be me crying out his name. It was going to be me.
Present Day
A small tray of snacks and sodas were brought in. Talking about everything made my appetite disappear. I stared as the man took a long drink from his water bottle then popped a few grapes into his mouth.
“The night you went to Jensen’s home, what did you see happening?”
I smiled, biting my lower lip, “That Jensen would see I was the right woman for him. That he would be gentle and kind letting (Y/N) know he didn’t truly love her. That he was in love with me. That he had always been in love with me.”
“How did you know?” I arched an eyebrow as he continued, “That Jensen was in love with you?”
“He told me so. He was always telling me that he loved me. That he would always be there for me. Protect me. That is why he is the only man worthy of my love.”
I looked over the man’s shoulder to the mirror on the wall. Tilting my head to one side and waving at myself.
“He is here, isn’t he?” I asked.
The man’s face hardened, “That was part of the agreement.”
I smiled, “And, the second part of our agreement? Will it be upheld as well?”
“Yes, as long as you tell me everything. Truthfully.”
“Then continue with your questions. What else would you like to know?” I leaned back against my chair, my bracelets clinking together as I crossed my arms over my chest.
“There is only one part left to tell. What happened the night you went to Jensen’s?”
Two Days Earlier
The house was dark and quiet. My private entrance was open as always for me to come and go as I pleased. (Y/N) was visiting her family back in Dallas all week while Jensen was staying behind in Austin. I had talked to him a little earlier to let him know I was coming over. I took his no response to mean that it was fine. I made the all too familiar trip to his bedroom. As I approached his room, I could hear the echoes of skin smacking together. My blood began to boil.
Peeking inside the door, Jensen was thrusting feverishly into (Y/N). Her cries of pleasure filled my ears and my rage was bubbling to the surface.
“Ohh… god, Jensen… fuck.” (Y/N)’s nails dug into Jensen beautiful back, “Fuck, harder Jensen.”
Jensen buried his face into (Y/N)’s neck slamming into her until both of their bodies began to tremble. (Y/N) cried out his name as he lazily pushed into her a few more times. I touched the cold steel pressing into my back watching Jensen roll off of her best friend.
“I’m so glad you came home early, pretty girl. I missed you a lot.” Jensen pulled (Y/N) into his side kissing her forehead.
Present Day
“Pretty girl was my nickname. That is when I entered the room.”
He kept writing notes, “And what happened next?”
I pushed out a harsh breath, “I demanded to know what was going on. I wanted to know why he was fucking her behind my back when he had invited me over!”
“Calm down, please. I only want the truth of your side of what happened.”
I took in a deep breath letting it out slowly, “I’m sorry. It’s very upsetting to talk about the love of my life being with my best friend.”
He nodded, “I imagine that would be very upsetting. Do you need a moment or would you like to continue?”
“I want this over with so I can speak to him.”
He sat back pressing his pen to his notepad again, “Please finish your story.”
“Jensen and I argued. (Y/N) tried to get in between us and I defended myself with the knife I had in the back of my waistband. I didn’t want to hurt anyone, especially my best friend. I was just so angry and devastated. The two people I loved the most betrayed me and broke my heart.”
I wiped away the tears falling down my face as the man closed his notepad. He stood from his chair and a spark of hope ignited in my chest.
“I will send Jensen in a couple of minutes.” He walked out the door.
I looked in the mirror fixing a stray hair that was stinking up and tried to wipe away the bags from beneath my eyes. I ran my hands down the front of my white t-shirt hoping he would not notice the wrinkles on it. My eyes snapped up when I heard the door open. My heart was pounding in my chest as the comforting smell of woods and whiskey filled the air. Watching as the man of my dreams, the love of my life walked in.
My heart dropped seeing him holding (Y/N)’s hand as she walked in right behind him. Her left arm in a sling and bandages peeking out beneath her shirt sleeve.
“The agreement was to speak to Jensen alone.” I huffed as they sat across from me.
“I asked for (Y/N) to come with me. She deserves to be here more so than I do.”
I looked into the deep olive eyes of the man who still held my heart and soul. He was breathtakingly beautiful in a simple denim button down and his hair looked so soft brushing down against his forehead. I desperately wanted to reach out and run my fingers through it.
“We just want to know why? Why spend all this time getting to know me, befriend me and become someone I cared about so much? Was it all because I was friends with Jensen?”
I could see (Y/N)’s eyes welling up with tears. I truly felt bad for her. I didn’t mean to stab her in the shoulder. All I had wanted was her to back off of Jensen and everything could have gone back to the way it was.
“At first, it was to get close to Jensen. I had met him plenty of times at conventions but could never spend quality time with him.” I looked over at my beautiful man, “You were always so sweet and loving to me. Calling me pretty girl every time you see me. Flashing that beautiful smile that would light up my world.”
Jensen folded his arms across his broad chest, never looking directly at me. I turned my attention back to (Y/N).
“It was destiny that I ran into you at the Dallas convention. You and I hitting it off as quickly as we did. We were meant to be friends. Best friends, which was perfect since you were already Jensen’s childhood best friend. We could all be happy together. Jensen and I together finally and you as our best friend.”
Jensen scoffed, “That was never going to happen. What gave you the idea that I wanted to be with you in the first place?”
His harsh tone aggravated me, “You told me. The first night we met at (Y/N)’s apartment. She had fallen asleep on the couch while you and I were sitting on the floor sharing a bottle of whiskey.”
I could not help the smile spreading across my face at the memory playing in my head, “You pulled me into your side as we watched a horrible TV movie. You asked me why I was such a big fan of yours. I told you ‘You’re changing the world, and I want to be a part of it’. And what did you say to me?”
“I have no idea what I said five years ago.”
My heart broke in two with a final crack emitting from the center, “You told me I already was a part of you and always would be. That we would change the world forever together.”
Jensen stood up walking towards the door, “I can’t listen to any more of this.”
“Wait! Please, don’t go yet. I know what I did was wrong. I should have been honest from the beginning.” I looked over to (Y/N) silently pleading with her, “I’m sorry I hurt you. You know that right? I feel terrible about hurting you. Both of you.”
I looked back up at Jensen only for the small spark he always lit inside of me to be extinguished by the look on his face. Anger burned in his eyes before turning to pity as he held his hand out to (Y/N).
“Just a second.” She reached out, placing one hand over mine, “We’re going to make sure you get the best help possible. I believe deep down you have a good soul and I want you to flourish into the person you’re truly meant to be. I forgive you.”
Tears streamed down my face hearing (Y/N) say those words.
“I forgive you and if it’s alright I would like to come visit you from time to time.”
I nodded, “Yes, of course. Both of you, please visit me.”
Before (Y/N) walked out the door, I called out to her, “(Y/N), I forgive you too.”
A tight smile appeared on her face, “Thank you.”
***
As soon as (Y/N) was outside the in-patient behavioral unit she let out a long, shaky breath. She had not expected to be so emotional seeing her friend locked up. Jensen ran his hands carefully down her arms.
“You’re an amazing person, (Y/N) (Y/L/N). There is no way in hell I could have kept my composure like you did.”
“What did the doctor say?”
Jensen sighed, “He believes she has some form of Borderline Personality Disorder stemming from a traumatic childhood. From what he can gather, she probably watched a lot of TV to escape her home life and fixated on me from when I was on Days of Our Lives. At least, that’s what she had told him during their first session.”
(Y/N)’s heart broke for her, “I meant what I said, Jensen. I want her to have the best care and I want to come visit her.”
He lifted her chin in order for her eyes to meet his, “Once again, you are a truly amazing person. I will make sure she is taken care of. For now, we have an appointment with a caterer for a very important date coming up.”
“Yes we do, Mr. Ackles.” She smiled, twirling the ring on her left hand.
“Your chariot awaits, Future Mrs. Ackles.”
He held out his elbow for her and she looped her good arm through his. (Y/N) looked back at the double doors leading back into the behavioral unit. Her friend flashing before her eyes from when they first met and being replaced by the last image of her saying she forgave her. A silent vow that she would not give up on her.
Six Month Later
(Y/N) was lying out in the backyard waiting for Jensen to return from directing his Walker episode with Jared. Their friend and bodyguard, Clif, walked out holding an envelope.
“This was waiting for you at the gate.”
Her name was written on it with no postal markings. Dread pooled in the pit of her stomach. Before she could open the letter, her phone rang.
“Hi doctor, is everything okay with…”
“Mrs. Ackles, I regret to inform you that your friend has escaped the guarded unit. She managed to find a way out by befriending the overnight porter. He was found unconscious in her bed. The original detectives from your case are searching for her now. They will be in contact with you soon, but I want you to be prepared that she may come to your house.”
(Y/N)’s hand began to tremble and a phantom pain radiated from her shoulder, “Oh my god… um, thank you for calling me. I will call my husband right away and take all the necessary precautions.”
She ended the call and quickly went into the house. Clif was already on the phone with the detectives and (Y/N) tried calling Jensen’s phone getting his voicemail immediately.
“Jensen, she’s out. Clif is talking with detectives now. Handsome, please be careful. I love you.”
(Y/N) sat on the couch, clutching the envelope in her hand. She did not need to look at the letter to know who had left it. Her doctor had told (Y/N) weeks ago that she could no longer visit. She had read in a magazine about her and Jensen’s wedding.
Looking down at the letter, she opened it, taking out the single sheet of paper. She gasped reading it and her phone buzzed with a Facetime call from Jensen.
“Are you alright?” He asked, immediately upon seeing her face.
“No. I-I’m scared.”
His eyes widened, “I’m on my way home right now. Everything will be okay. The detectives have patrols coming to stay outside the house.”
“Hurry home, please. I love you so much, Jensen.”
“I love you too, pretty girl. I’ll be home soon.” Jensen ended the call.
She set her phone down beside her standing from her seat, “I know you’re here. You don’t have to hide.”
(Y/N) watched as she stepped out from the shadows of the room holding a gun out in front of her.
“As I said... Jensen. Will. Be. Mine.” She pulled the trigger and the shot rang in (Y/N)’s ears.
The letter floated down to the floor beside her as pain spread throughout her chest. Looking over, she read the simple sentence again, praying Jensen would get to her in time.
He will always be mine and I’m here to take my place. XOXO, Me.
The darkness crept over the edges of her vision until dragging her into the dark abyss.

Tumblr media
“Come on, it's going to be fun!” your eyes stuck to the words on the letter ‘Class of 2001 reunion, will you be there?’ the thick black letters having been judging you all week.
“Yeah, being in one room with the people who hated me ten years ago who are now pretending to be perfect is such a healthy bounding experience, wouldn't wanna miss that!” you exclaim walking away from the table you’d left the paper on. “It couldn't have been that bad.” Jenna had been a great friend but she was clueless when it came to your time as a teenager “Believe me Jen, if you'd been there you’d be just as skeptical about going back as me.”
There were those kinds of people that got excited when they received a letter telling them there was a high school reunion. The excitement of seeing old friends as everyone gathered and talked about the good old days. The thrill of seeing how people ended up in life only to gossip about it the next day. The head cheerleader getting pregnant after graduation, that shy kid that everyone bullied who now owned a million dollar company or that teacher everyone hated finally having left.
There were also those who groaned and cursed when they'd gotten the letter. High school was a chapter they'd rather forget, school was never kind and neither were the people. The thought of returning to that hell of a place was something they’d have nightmares about and yet they still drove out and sat in the classroom joining the laughter and the jokes as they played pretend.
It all made You wonder how’d you let your friend talk you into going but there you stood. After nearly ten years nothing had changed, a simple paint job of the bench or a tree that's grown bigger was all there was. Slowly you made your way into the building, the smell of books and crappy cafeteria food filling your nose and bringing you straight back to the 2000’s. you followed the signs taped to the wall, the direction leading you to the heart of the school and the one place you usually avoided, the gymnasium.
The place was packed with people, a few familiar faces nodding their heads in your direction in a polite ‘hey’ that you returned with a smile as you made your way to one of the tables lined in the middle. “Welcome to the reunion of the 2001 class. I'm one of the students here and I’ll be helping Mr. Peterson today. What's your name?”  the girl smiled bright, clearly the teacher's pet if she was willing to spend her Saturday at the school. “Hi, Y/n  Y/l/n.” you stated simply, not sure what else to do, the entire thing feeling more like a job interview instead of the happy reunion Jenna had made it sound like. The girl started searching through a stack of papers, pulling out stickers and different notes, placing them down on the table and scribbling on them before looking back up. “Your class will come together at 6C in an hour. in the meantime, grab a drink and have fun!” With a soft thanks you walked further into the gymnasium.
You thanked god for the open bar, not sure if you’d even make it to the actual reunion part of the day if it wasn't for the whiskey in your already nearly empty glass.
“oh my god, No way Y/N? Is that you?!” The familiar high-pitched voice squealing your name caught your attention, making you turn around to see the walking pink ball of excitement coming closer with a man dressed just  as sparkly and bright as her. “Lola, hey.” you tried your best to fake excitement, the words coming out just as fake as the girl you spoke them too. “Oh my god, Hi!” she was leaning in hugging you tight, playing the best friend instead of the bitch of a cheerleader she used to be. “This is my husband, we got married last month.” You smiled politely, soft congrats being sent both their ways. “So Where's your other half?” She questioned looking around the room, the same bitchy grin she had when she was calling someone out back in school on her face. “I came alone, I wouldn't want to take your spotlight away, I know how attached you are to it.” you state making her speechless.  She clearly had a bruised ego, her mouth opening and closing as She stuck to an excuse of needing a drink before crossing arms with her husband and walking away, leaving you on your own to down the rest of your own drink and go on your merry way again, you could at least say you tried being there.
You went into the bathroom, a quick pee break before spending the next three hours on the road back home, reminding yourself to call Jenna and make her rethink her definition of the good old days.
“Did you see the brown eyed one,”
“Why is it always the hot guys that turn out to be cops?” As you washed your hands the door got thrown open, a few girls you’d seen helping around coming inside as they gossiped. All three giggled, two of them going for a bathroom stall as the third one stood beside you checking herself out in the mirror. “Excuse me, did you just say the cops were here?” You question “Yeah,F.B.I showed up and cleared the entire gym, I’m sure no one minds looked like everyone hated this reunion thing.” She wasn’t wrong.
“I’m not surprised though, there've been three dead guys here in the past month, feds were gonna show up sometime, I’m just happy it’s two hot ones.” the toilet behind you flushed, the girl coming out with her bag on her shoulders seeming a little too excited. “Someone said one of the guys went to this school,”
“No way, you’re joking!“ You totally forgot what schoolgirls were like, not missing the loud shouting over some random guy at all. “Mia said one of the guys was on the list of students for the reunion, I forgot his name, god what was it, westlin, wingster, webster.
“Winchester?” Both girls' eyes sparkled at the right answer. “That’s it! You know him!” You used too. the memories of  the man had always been in the back of your head, nagging you ever since he left town.
You pushed past the lump in your throat, excusing yourself from the girls as your feet carried you right back to the gymnasium without a second thought about it. You walked in a straight line, the door of the gym still open giving you a wide range of space to walk in, nobody near or around to speak too, no badge in sight. You hoped the girls just got it wrong, the man they thought was long gone, you’d seen the news you knew he was a wanted man, he was even presumed dead more then once yet part of you never fully believed that.
“Excuse me ma’am, this is a crime scene.” you turned around, your eyes widening, anger, joy, sadness it all came up boiling at once, He was right there.
“Sam,” you stood speechless, the skinny boy you knew ten years back having become an actual man. He was taller than you remembered, his hair longer but you knew it was him, you could never forget your best friend.
“Sammy, you found any-” you turned around at the deep voice, the green eyed hunter looking back at you, seeming as shocked as his younger brother. “Nice to know the reason you never called wasn’t your death.” You didn't know what was worse, the fact that Sam never called because he was dead or the fact that he just didn't for no reason. “Y/n I didn't know you were going to be here,”
“It's a reunion Sam, that's kind of the entire point.”
“No, I know I just” you shook your head not even wanting to hear it. For years all you wanted was a reason why, an apology but the longer you stood in the gym the more you realized he wasn't going to give you one. "You know what Sam, don't bother." You looked up at the man before you, seeing nothing more than a ghost of the man you once knew.
"You clearly don't wanna see me. I don’t know what I did to deserve that but I guess you leaving ten years ago was a clear sign of rejection that I should have taken more seriously."
"It's not that simple ," he states, trying to talk his way out of it. "Yeah Sam,think it is that simple." you shake your head, already regretting even going to the gym when you’d heard he was at the school. You were ready to walk away from both the boys and leave it all behind like you should have done ten years back and you would have, you are ready to walk right past your old friend and leave him, but he reached out for you giving you no choice but to stop. “Let me go,”
“Let me explain?” he questioned. “Just hear me out.”
“Sam let me go,” you struggle to get your arm back, his fingers not losing any of the grib he had but making sure he wasn’t hurting you. “Please Y/n, I’ll explain everything just. just meet me later.” he tried to keep his voice low, trying to not to upset you anymore then he already had.
“What motel,” you mutter, still giving in to the pull he had on you. “Britters sunrise. room 93.”
Tumblr media
The familiar 1967 black Chevrolet Impala stood parked in the back of the parking lot. you weren't sure why’d you even come to the motel, part of you still hoping to get that apology you wanted back in high school.
your every muscle was screaming in protest as you walked closer to the right room. You swallowed your fears by putting up a wall to protect yourself as you knocked loud and clear, three beats and a second of silence before knocking a fourth time. It was a safety signal you and Sam had back in high school so he knew it was you who came to his door and you still did it without thinking twice.
The door opened, the eyes of an old friend meeting yours hitting you in a wave of memories. “You came,”  Sam stepped aside as he led you into the room. Dean sat on one of the beds, keeping to himself as he cleaned a bunch of his guns like it was a normal.
You hadn’t seen their faces in ten years but It was like you were staring at a fragment of the boy you used to steal liquor with as you pretended that life was normal, the same guy who acted like a big brother when it came to your well being. “What are you doing here,” you choked out, turning to look at Sam who was standing before the crappy motel table.
“Dean and I thought there was a case here,” he mutters.
“you can spot anything supernatural from miles away, you knew beforehand this job was going to give you jack, so why are you really here?” you ask again knowing that even though he sometimes hated his job, he was good at it. "I just wanna talk."
“You could have called.”
you didn't wanna lie to yourself, you missed him but that didn't mean you were going to pretend nothing happened just because he looked at you with sad puppy eyes. “You know how to find people, I'm sure you could have figured out where I was if you wanted to.”
“I should have looked for you, I shouldn’t even have left. I’d never forgiven myself for that, for putting you through that.” regret was written over his entire face, his eyes never leaving yours, the look in them told you he spoke nothing but the truth even when he struggled to speak the words he so desperately needed to tell you.
“I stood up against the kids in school, I even stood up against your dad when he called you out for being a smart kid and all I got in return was you leaving town,” tears glazed over your eyes as you spoke, “What happened to the boy who told me the truth because he needed a friend, the guy whose dream was to go to college or the man who said he’d never leave.” tears escape as your voice breaks.  “All I see now is the ghost of  a guy I thought was dead.”
“Y/n, I am so Sorry,” It’s all you wanted, an apology for putting you through hell. Tears clouded your eyes as you stepped forwards, wrapping your hands around his waist as you held him tight.
At first Sam was unsure, taking a second to realize what you were doing, holding him close instead of rejecting him like he feared you would, but once he understood the need for closure, the feeling of anger and tiredness from everything being pushed away for so long he thrusted his arms around your body. You breathed in deeply trying to stop the tears from coming down, the emotions and every word that were left unspoken, the things that both of you wanted to say but didnt know how all drowned away in the moment.
“I’m still pissed.” you mutter as you pull black slightly.
“You thought we were dead?” Dean asked, making your head turn to the forgotten brother on the other side of the room. “Yeah, I did.” His brows raised an invitation for you to elaborate on the subject.  “The explosion at the Colorado police station, February 2008. Eleven people died, nine cops and two fugitives. I read that Henrikson had the Winchesters in custody, I just put two and two together.”
“You kept tabs on us.”  You walked over to the bed Dean was sitting on as you nodded. The man kept a close eye on you as You reached out to grab one of the guns he’d just cleaned, the weapon laying in your hand heavily. “What are you doing?” you looked at Sam, the man giving you a confused look, not seeming to fully trust you with a gun in your hands.
You pushed the magazine release and pulled it out to check if it was full before pushing it back up the clip and pulling the slide, clicking the safety off and then back on. “Son of a bitch,” you couldn’t help but smile at Dean's reaction. “I know more than you think.” you state putting the gun back down. “Hunting, weapons Ghosts, vampires, werewolves, fairies, unicorns, all that jazz."
"Yeah, does aren't real."
"Wait. There’s no such thing as unicorns?” Dean shook his head as you cursed out loud, the only mythical creature you read about over the years and somewhat would appreciate turning out to be fake. "Angel's, Demon’s but a freaking unicorn is too much to ask?” You could see the grin on both men's faces, an annoyed scoff coming from you as you shook your head “Don't you laugh at me, what would you think when you spent the past ten years reading every book and article there is and believing it because someone skipped town before he could explain the details.” As the words left your mouth you realized what you said, your eyes going back to those of Sam, a silent apology of your own being sent his way.
“You’re right, I did leave. Dad, he found out about Stanford and we got into a big fight. He told me that if I walked out I shouldnt come-”
“You got into Stanford?” you ask, walking over to the table he was leaning against not even letting him finish. “I did, yeah. I went to school for a while but then-”
“The Family business?” Sam nodded his head, not having to tell you the details to know you’d understand him.  You knew that no matter how badly he wanted to have something normal, the guy would drop it all for his family, especially when it came to Dean.
“I guess that's what happens when you know the truth” you sigh, sitting yourself down into one of the chairs. “No matter how normal of a life you try to live, something always pulls you back to the supernatural.”
“You sound like you speak from experience,” you look over at Dean, his guns being put in the bag as he cleaned everything up. “I didn't exactly choose to study mythology because it was such an exciting subject.” you joke. “It came in handy, that and a few hours at the gun range.” you mumble turning your eyes to the ground. “You became a hunter?” Dean questioned, brows raised both brothers there full attention on you.
“No that's your thing, I’m just a walking encyclopedia for Lore and information, the gun thing is just a safety precaution that I rarely use,” You look between both brothers not sure why they are so surprised about it all while it was one of them that introduced you to that world in the first place. “We are more like one another than you boys think, Same song, different verse. that kind of thing.” A light chuckle leaves you at the realization, even after ten years apart you still ended up on the same side of the crossroad, both living on the edge of trying to be normal but still fighting against what goes bumping in the night.
“So what’s next? What happens when I leave this room?” Your eyes went to Sam, knowing that your issues weren’t just forgiven and forgotten but also knowing you weren’t willing to let him leave again. “We could use somebody with your brains at the bunker, it would be nice to have one else on the road with us." Dean said, a grin on his face at the idea. “You're asking me to drop my life back in Springfield to read a few books because you need the extra help?”
“Dean you can't ask that of her,” Sam and Dean their voices blocked out as
your own mind went to the possibility of saying yes.
You’d never really thought about being on the road or being more than just somebody who had information, the idea had always seemed scary but being out there with Sam and Dean seemed safe, it seemed right. You had lost Sam once and you weren't planning on losing him again.
“Do I get my own room in this bunker?” Both boys shut their mouths, Dean giving you a grin as Sam looked shocked.
“I could handle being around Sam in high school and seeing you out on the parking lot but a girl needs her privacy, and I have a feeling I'll be wanting that if I spend hours on the road with the two of you.”
“Whatever you need, Pick and choose,”
“What do you say Sam, think you could handle someone outsmarting you?” you joke making him nod his head.
“I think I'll be fine.”  All of you smiled at the newly found course, never having expected the day to end with you leaving everything behind to skip town with the two, but you knew this was the right choice.
“We found a case in Iowa” Dean states nodding towards the computer sitting on the motel table. “Two dead teens in a warehouse, one of their friends said they got taken by a scientist.” You nod your head, taking the computer to turn it in your own direction. “Scientists have a habit of breaking and entering old buildings, if something goes wrong people won't mind the damage being done to that building.” you state eyes stuck on the words on screen. “This guy was named David Joston,” Sam pointed out, rounding the table to point at the black and white picture on screen. “September 1840” you mumble, taking in the date. “What do you say kid?” you look between both boys, a shiver of excitement running down your spine at the thrill of the hunting being right within your reach. “Let's go get Casper the ghost,” you all smiled at your words, the laptop being shut as the boys got ready to get out on the road again. Maybe going to a school reunion hadn't been such a bad idea after all.

Title: Fire and Ice
Summary: An AU where Apocalypse world Michael is human and has magic powers.
Warnings: Some suggestive language.
Pairing: Apocalypse world Michael x Female reader.
Word count: 852
Author's note: I did this last minute so it's a trainwreck. This is for @deanwanddamons 3k followers challenge.
(Y/n) laid with Michael and thought about everything that had happened between them. She became enamored quickly, dazzled by how different he was from her. He had come from Mars, and her from Venus; she liked to joke. They got along well, for the first eight months.
One January night, (y/n's) best friend woke her up and told her to come with her. (y/n) fussed about being woken up, but her curiosity couldn't be ignored. After walking for some time, Bela told (y/n) to stop and stay silent. Of course she knew that face in the moonlight. Michael. She wanted to know why he was there. She wanted to ask, but she didn't. Something began to form in the air around her boyfriend: ice. She couldn't believe her eyes. She began to cry. Bela didn't console her. They had grown up together because they lived next to each other. (Y/n) wondered why her friend did nothing to comfort her.
(Y/n) couldn't think straight at first, but once she could, she approached Michael. She couldn't hold her tears back.
"You just created ice! You used magic! Why didn't you tell me when you know how I feel about it?"
"It's not evil. It's something I was born with. I have never lost control."
"Naturally, you'd say that when you were raised with it!"
He reached out to soothe her by touching her arm, she yanked away and walked off.
"I'm sorry, but I can't be with someone like you."
Bela had told (y/n) that Michael was bad for her from the start. How could (y/n) have thought things would work between a religious woman and a rebel? He had been the same as her before, but that ended after he watched his brother get darker over time. His breaking the mold and defiance made her believe that he would go to Hell if he didn't stop, and that she would too if she stayed with him. There was something else that ate at her. The very same mindset she left him over, excited her. (Y/n) dealt with confusion, guilt, and worry, and knew it would be wisest to keep it all to herself. If anyone knew, they would blame him and say that he corrupted her, or maybe they would blame her and say that she was simply a wicked sinner with no self control.
(Y/n's) mind seemed to split into two personalities: the kind and behaved one that had always been, and the lustful one. The more she thought about Michael, the more she regretted leaving him; and not because of carnal desires. She realized that she had automatically deemed magic evil instead of trying to understand it, or its user.
She thought more and more about Michael and his ability. She wanted to apologize, and for life to return to the way it was. In an effort to understand him better, she began studying elemental magic. The first time a bush caught on fire, (y/n) shrieked and panicked. Fire had always been her favorite element, so she wondered if that was why she could control it.
(Y/n) had to find him and set things straight. Bela claimed that he had told her he wanted nothing to do with her, but she no longer trusted her friend's word. She found him, and he ignored her and left like she had never been there. It happened again. The third time, she thought to use her power to get his attention. He made water swirl in the air, and prepared to attack.
"What are you doing?!" (Y/n) screamed.
"Who are you, some shapeshifter?"
"No. It's me. It's the real (y/n), and you ignored me the last two times we crossed paths. You'd compare me to a duckling chasing its Mom, I'd compare you to cats. You think tha-."
"I believe you. Tell me why you decided to learn elemental control after writing me off for my power."
"I wanted to understand you. The more I thought about everything, the more I realized that I had shut you out without giving you a chance. I believed what everyone else does, instead of trying to find answers."
"I don't forgive you, but I appreciate the effort. Do you know why we have what we do?"
"Our personalities. Our souls knew what fit best. They represent our feelings. Reserved and stoic goes with ice, passionate and expressive goes with fire!" (Y/n) said.
"Your enthusiasm and constant talking were a relief to me. Travel by my side again, but don't betray me a second time. We're not alike, but we're able to make this work because opposites attract. I'm darkness, you're light. Where one is flawed, the other shines." He nearly grinned.
"Do you see it yet? I am the darkness, you are the light. What one lacks, the other makes up for."
(Y/n) hugged Michael.
"The universe is trying to tell us something we both should already know. We're stronger together than apart. But you knew that, I'm sure!" She replied.

Not long now until the Masterlist of all the entries I have received will be posted! Only 2 weeks to go!
3K Follower Challenge
Tumblr media
Thank you to everyone who has got me to 3K followers. I am so overwhelmed by this! I have had so much love and support since I started; it’s unreal, and I have made some amazing friends along the way ❤️
So to celebrate this milestone, I have created the ‘Three’s a crowd’ challenge!
The idea behind it being that whatever story you create, there has to be an obstacle or ‘third wheel’ that upsets the natural course of things. Whether that be an angsty shooting, a fluffy adorable dog that could choose the worst time to let their owner know they want something, or a ghost that’s determined to keep your pairing apart. Are you ready to get creative?
All you need to do to enter is:
Choose one quote from the list below
&
Choose one troupe from the list below
Send the numbers of your choice to me in an ask, alongside whether you want to write canon or AU, and then I will give you the THIRD part of the challenge.
Yep, to make things more interesting, I’ll be giving you the third wheel! REMEMBER these have to act as a hindrance or a challenge your pairing have to get over within your story.
OR ALTERNATIVELY
If you can’t decide, and/or if you’re feeling daring, send me an ask with the words ‘Sian Special’ and I will provide you with all three; the troupe, the quote and the third wheel.
Sound fun?! I hope so!
All the rules are below the cut:

1. You must be following me to enter.

11. You can include any bingos or other challenges.
Just a few final bits and bobs:

A submission to my 3K challenge.
And what a submission!! You used the quotes and trope perfectly. And you certainly did my ‘Sian special’ justice!
I loved the story of the snooty parent and then the way they had sneaky sex in the bookstore was ridiculously hot! OMG!! Ohhh how I wish I could meet Dean like this!
Thank you so much for joining my challenge ❤️❤️

This fic was written for @deanwanddamons Three’s a Crowd 3K Followers Challenge. My quote - “I mean, accidents just don’t happen accidentally” will be in bold. My trope - Opposites Attract (Rich girl/Blue collar Dean). And my Third Wheel - Parents (in this case a very snobbish disapproving mother). Sian, I hope I did your Sian Special justice! 😁
Pairing: Dean x Reader

Still plenty of time to get involved with this challenge if you wish. Just send me an ask 💕

An entry to my 3K challenge
Great story and loved the way you used the quote, troupe and third wheel!
Thank you for your submission ❤️
The Ghost Of You.
Tumblr media
Summary: When you receive a invitation for a school reunion you let a friend talk you into going, forcing you to face the ghost of  a man you once knew.
Author: @warrior-angel
Word Count: 3,4K
Character Pairing: Sam Winchester x Childhoodfriend!Reader
Warnings: Angst, Fluff, Talk of Death,
Note: I wrote this fic for @deanwanddamons 3K Followers Challenge. It was a bit of a chaotic puzzle trying to put this all together but I hope I did it right.
Quote: Wait. There’s no such thing as unicorns?? |Troupe: Childhood Friends |Third Wheel: Ghost.
➳ All mistakes in this fic are my own!
Check out my Masterlist!

A submission for my 3K challenge.
I enjoyed this, and you used the prompt and troupe really well.
Thank you your entry 💕
