If you wanna get in my lil noggin at its most unhinged you should go to my (mainly shitposts) sideblog @dontfeedthestansaftermidnight (I have been spite posting there lately though so beware it isn't exactly reflective of my usual vibes ig a little more bitter than usual for reasons). But like I ship things very casually I am not very invested. I am just not a romantic at heart so I do not get really emotional about ships (but I think it is sweet that people do). Like short answer DeanBenny, DeanLisa, DeanCassie, DeanCrowley, DeanDonna (edit: also Saileen and Samwena) and DeanCas but in a way that is like 60% for meme economy enrichment 30% out of spite for certain elements of the fandom who I think are stupid and lame and I want them to scream and cry so manifesting some good vibes for the destiel pairing and 10% actually being a little fond of deancas kind of like you are fond of like a little lap dog that your aunt has thats tongue is sticking out all of the time.

Months 1-3: Oh my God this human is actually so adorable despite being so violent/grudging respect/mutual building of trust

4-7: Hardcore pining as he and Dean have full on Moments™ and frequently wondering "How the fuck are we still looking for this fucking angel? When does the grieving process start?"

8-11: The slow decision that Benny is not sticking his dick in crazy

11 onward: Friends is better/pining continues/deep annoyance with Cas multiplies exponentially

Ik a lot of people also don’t tend to ship sambenny or see it as something that could really work out, but I really and truly think that with some time Sam and Benny could’ve grown really close, in a sense that they struggle a lot with the same things and have similar life experiences, such as blood addiction. I’m a huge sambenny and deanbenny girlie so I was wondering what your thoughts were, if you have any? 😗💕

I'm sorry ! 😭 He's just such a jealous bitch; Dean is NOT allowed to have male friends/mentors/etc let alone lovers. For entertainment sake we could say that Dean holds him off long enough to quell Sam's rage ig. Then we could maybe get SamDeanBenny action. Benny calling Sam "sugar", letting him call the shots.

Someone pointed out Sam has a line like "Dean I know what you had to do down there to survive but it's over now", and just generally Sam's kinda... nonchalance about Dean scamming/tricking/baiting, so there is the possibility of coming in with a sort of disgusted/patronizing attitude. "Yeah Dean open up for him, why are you wincing it's not like it's your first time, what has Benny gotten bigger or something? Not as big as me though so you better buck up.."

Dirty talk aside, I don't think Benny and Sam could actually bond very well, over anything that wasn't Dean? Tbh I don't really remember Benny well outside the accent, henley, and Dean's panting looks so idk, but it seemed he had more of a chill, "I'm a monster and that's just How It Is" approach, vs Sam's "no I know demon blood is dangerous but it's for the right reasons and I can handle it!".

(Also I have read Sam/Benny, with sub!Sam and Benny getting all "aw cher just wanted some attention huh? this is what it felt like for him.. Good thing about monsters, we can do this allll day...")

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I mean, I love how it all shakes out as tragedy in the end. Benny's out of place, out of time, and no matter how much Dean loves him, he's also not someone who can provide any sort of support. Especially not to the level Benny needs. That conflict at the heart of their relationship, that Benny is an exception to Dean's rules of killing monsters, not a reason to delve into his own biases further and question things, is sooo. Capping it off with Dean killing him is just the cherry on top. Fucked up <3

None of these have names yet lol. I put the SPN ones first, but technically I've been trying to break my writer's block by returning to The Great Gatsby (It's all Nick/Gatsby btw, just realized that might not be immediately evident) with limited success. It's always come easier for me. But all of this is stuff I do actively want to work on.

Ohh I don't know who to tag. I'm sure everyone in this circle has been tagged already, and most of the people I talk to regularly enough to know about their projects have more or less left Tumblr... I think the name is pretty explanatory? The gist of it is they go after the same guy and become pseudo-enemies but they keep bumping into each other like this and decide to work together after a while 👍 this is a really bad hook LMAO. Anyway, I'm trying to build on the idea that they work REALLY well together when they do it intentionally but fail comically when they don't.

Pretty much what it says on the tin as well. No Supernatural AU. Dean goes to a community college to get a certification to help with his work elsewhere, but Cas, a figure drawing model, catches him drawing (which Dean's been doing on and off as a hobby) and tries to get him to sign up for the arts program.

I technically only have a summary of this, and I'm not entirely sure if I will write it all out, but I do want to at least put more time into the development before I dedicate to giving up on it bc of scope lol. I just have SUCH a soft spot for fake relationship AUs. Also, I just found out that while I have FINALLY aged into independent FAFSA eligibility, I am once again tax bracketed out. Anyway, financial abuse is real and I want to project my suffering onto Dean. Also immigrant Cas, but I haven't decided where I want him to be from yet. I think this has a lot of potential for some pretty hefty character redesigns too so it's also compelling to me from that angle. I guess I could also write it for TGG, but I did initially think of it for Destiel, so.

I don't know how to explain this one very well except that I had unhelpfully written "poolboy au" in my notes and then proceeded to forget what the hell I meant. This fic was an attempt to resurrect that but ended up being a funky modern West Coast re-imagining where Gatsby can't even "make it" as much as he wants to, and Nick can't find a place to live except for a less-than-legally rented pool house. It's not meant to be a full rewrite or anything though.

Uhhh yeah, I'm keeping the details private for this one ahaha but that's just because it wasn't supposed to be a big deal and I told a friend she would see what it was when it was done...like oh god probably a month ago at this point... My original scope for this was quite small, but research for it, indecision, and a nasty case of writer's block that I've had for nearly a year now have kept development a bit slow. Hopefully, I'll finish it before the year comes to a close.

I also don't know how to explain this one well other than "after being rejected by Daisy (Canon Divergent), Gatsby attempts to buy his way into a bewildered Nick's heart. Though the fic is from Nick's POV, Gatsby's just had his worldview shattered and is in a bit of denial, but instead of pursuing Daisy harder, he channels all of that energy into Nick (though he's not really sure why he's doing it at first). I wasn't sure what to put up at the top because I absolutely don't want my code name for this public at least until it's done LMAO.

i am currently working on a few different projects, actually!

i just started (again, anew) on chapter 3 of sheltered by your heart which is a project still near and dear to my heart although it is kicking my ass. but i really need to tell deanna's side of the story so although it might take a while, i am still working on this!

thanks to ms. china i am also working on part three of can't buy me love bc those pining idiots deserve their happy(-ish) ending and they shall get it.

part three of the wild side. this one is a bit of a Project and will probably still take a good while to finish.

part eleven of i'm gonna teach you some french bc apparently even almost a year later, i have not given up on jeff/jared.

and finally, and this is just a fun project on the side that i work on whenever i feel like it, a deanbenny au based on this.

Funniest character: i mean realistically? dean. just because you actually get to see his humor moreso than say gabriel or the ghostfacers... but if we're talking density of comedy, it is probably gabriel

Best-looking character: there's so many gorgeous people to choose from but my heart always says rowena. also billie. I met lisa berry and i think i stopped breathing for a minute.

Least favourite character: bro i dont even fucking know anymore. i dont think i have one. I know I bitch about dean a lot but that really is mostly frustration with how the fanbase and the show in the late seasons treat him. I cant think of a character i really hate... I guess lucifer in the late seasons? That was just lazy writing tho.

Least favourite ship:  destiel skdnfskjfns.

Reason why I watch it: uh. idontknowmanicantstop. Honestly tho, I think of the world-building in the early seasons, and the aesthetic.. the horror elements. It was so foundational to what I enjoy in media, and it really feels like coming home to watch it.

Why I started watching it: my brother got me hooked on it actually. He came home from a friends' house one night in fucking 2012 and was like... 'heyyyyy so i started this show and i think we should watch it.....'.
