Adventures in reading fanfic in Greek: "fix it fic" has been transliterated wholesale rather than just translating "fix it" straight to Greek (διορθώστε το) and now I am wondering how often this happens in other languages given that most fic-related terms must have originated in English. Tbh I find this deeply charming
