As someone who watched all of Redacted from literally the first episode and binged everything for like a month during the time The Imperium: Cataclysm was being released I totally agree with this comment.
I was literally experiencing the evolution of the channel in fast forward up to Cataclysm and everything was crazy fun. So when waiting for new vids in real time, I could slowly see the decline in quality of storylines in the past year or so.
And before anyone points out, yes Erik had so much shit go on in his life to the point I'm shocked he hasn't quit already. He's really had shit luck this year with both his personal life and dealingwith Youtube itself. But I think you can both be empathetic of what he's been through and patient with Erik whilst also being objective about the decline in the quality and feel of his work (as well as the fandom space in general).
Hell as of today (4th Jan 2024) Erik put out a vid on Patreon acknowledging that things have been different this past year and and the standards weren't what they used to be. And you can be the person that's like "Erik has a life, he's been through shit he doesn't have to justify anything" - it's 100% valid and I pretty much agree, except that as someone who provides content, it's defo a better look to acknowledge the things that have gone wrong. And Erik defo has with public vid updates (although those fell off), update posts on Patreon, and especially with this latest update vid.
I'm rambling badly - the point is, things have defo changed for a combo of reasons, Erik has acknowledged the change, he wants to do better (even if he technically doesn't have to), and I'm hoping to see him implementing the things he's stated he wants to cause I honestly think if he does things will greatly improve again, both with the channel and fandom space. One of the things he's suggested I'm dying to see so I hope he can follow through whilst still taking care of himself.

Exploration of Themes in The Exorcist
Catholicism and Demonology:
The film depicts Catholic rituals such as exorcism which are held by priests to rid of demonic possession in an individual. These rituals are portrayed with thorough detail, drawing from real-life exorcism practices documented by the Church. The film also explores the clash between faith and skepticism. As the protagonists fight a heavy battle of dealingwith the existence of evil and the power of faith to combat it. This theme is embodied in the character of Father Karras, a Jesuit priest struggling with his own crisis of faith.
Controversy:
The film's portrayal of a young girl possessed by a demon and the graphic scenes of exorcism pushed what was considered acceptable that the time with that boundary pushed what followed was shocked audiences. The film also came under lots of scrutiny were some critics accused the film of being sacrilegious and blasphemous. The film faced fierce censorship in many countries with scenes being cut or altered, this censorship only added to the film's mystique and contributed to its notoriety.
Existential Dread:
The film blurs the line between reality and nightmare as characters confront the terrifying possibility that the forces of evil are real and have the ability to be in flesh. This uncertainty adds to the film's atmosphere of dread and unease. Characters in The Exorcist experience psychological torment as they confront the demonic entity possessing the young girl. This psychological horror is just as scary as the physical manifestations of evil leaving characters questioning their own sanity.
Cultural Impact:
The Exorcist was a critical success becoming one of the highest grossing films of the 70s  which resulted in the film earning multiple nominations. Its mainstream success helped further the horror genre in the eyes of the mainstream public. The Exorcist was well representative of  popular culture having  sequels, prequels, spin-offs made. The film's imagery and memorable quotes have become what made it ensure its enduring legacy. The Exorcist revolutionized the horror genre, paving the way for a new wave of supernatural horror films that explored religious themes and demonic possession.

C.H. Spurgeon - All of Grace
We are not now speaking of justice, nor of God’s dealingwith men according to their deserts. If you profess to dealwith the righteous Lord on law terms, everlasting wraththreatens you, for that is what you deserve. Blessed be Hisname, He has not dealt with us after our sins; but now Hetreats with us on terms of free grace and infinite compassion, and He says, “I will receive you graciously, and…

Healing your Inner Child
In both my books Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ and ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ I write a letter to myself, highlighting different things about what my younger version would say to my adult self. What would your younger version say to your adult self?
How you cope as an adult all depends on how you left your inner child. Our inner child stores memories of our childhood. When anyone lives and deals with trauma in childhood, (and that includes myself) it is our inner child that needs help.
Healing our inner child, helps us heal. When you work through trauma, your inner child can heal and that means you shall have peace. Even with cathartic moments in life, we can still carry trauma.
I try to find the joy in those times; now my purpose is my writing. Through my words, I offer alternative points of view, views that allow for healing whilst fitting the universal brief. I give the reader understanding and offer empathy.
What I write is truth, although that’s often difficult to accept. My words are the world’s truth and as I continue to place energy on my life and I ignore other’s personal expectations of me, I find peace in my world. And you can too.
If you want to know more about healing your inner child, or you’re just looking for more info, or you fancy grabbing your copy, check out this link – https://linktr.ee/Ilana_Estelle

Using this time to work on the three A’s of self esteem which all address the Big A: Anxiety (aka goal setting for those who hate goal setting.) Okay so I made them up...but they are based on legitimate psychological thought and my own experience. So. The first A is achievement. Every day, I plan to do something achievable. The importance of the task in the larger sense does not matter, so long as it’s achievable and provides a sense of achievement for you. Achievement is not about what you can do to impress the world but you what you can do to impress yourself. The second A is ambition. Every day, I also plan one ambitious goal. Ambitious goals are ones that you are unlikely to achieve on the first go or even the third. But these are goals you set to achieve personal progress. The third A is acceptance. Accepting that some days you might not achieve either goal is paramount to achieving progress, as counterintuitive as that may sound. Particularly if you are a perfectionist, the idea of failure can not only be frightening but paralysing. You have to accept that some days the most you will get done is the setting of these goals and that is OKAY. I don’t keep a record of my progress, I don’t even evaluate my progress, I just get up every day and start anew. Today I had a shower. That was an achievable goal. Then I went on a walk, an ambitious goal for me. I accepted that today was a good day but that I must forgive myself for what may be yet to come. One step at a time, even if it is every few days, is still going to get me where I need to go 🖤 (Hint: It’s easy for you to support your own efforts on the days that you’re objectively productive. It’s time to accept and forgive a lack of productivity and celebrate those subjective achievements!) #mentalhealth #productivity #progress #alsoforthose #dealingwith #unemployment #depression #anxiety #selfesteem https://www.instagram.com/p/B-gaxgIFqO9/?igshid=1tn9o2obpussk
