post about fatphobia: fat people are systematically treated like shit and this extends deep into many aspects of life including but not limited to the medical field, school, fashion, etc.
the comments: well MaYbE if You CaReD AboUt BeinG FuckAbLe AnD HaTeD YouRseLF, you'd STARVE and bOdY BUILD!! fAT pEOPlE aREN't oPPRESSED!! You'Re OppRessIng ME by Enjoying Being Fat aNd Healthy. [insert rant about obesity here that is 90% lies] [insert follow up rant about being oppressed for being skinny]
"wuh buh skinny shaming!" "skinny people are medically neglected too!" like... y'all are ignoring the fact that *a majority* of medical neglect and things of that nature towards skinny people is in majority because of fatphobia, [the rest due to other factors such as misogyny, racism, transphobia and queerphobia, etc.. making them not take things like ED and ailments causing you to lose weight/be underweight as serious] Like from first hand experience, a lot of people & doctors would literally rather folks be sick and malnourished then be fat. They'd literally rather people's bodies fall apart due to lack of nutrients or be so underweight they can't get out of bed, than have noticeable fat on their bodies.
but yeah no let's just overtake serious discussions about fatphobia and/or posts uplifting and celebrating fat people and make it about skinny people //sarcasm
#like fatphobia is so fucking insidious#like the hatred and so called “”“”“health concerns”“”“ treat folks as if even a microscopic amount of fat is the same as being obese#but also like!!! who's fucking business is it if someone is obese even!!! not fucking yours#like that's between them and maybe their doctors and loved ones if they want it to be#y'all love to pretend like you care but only when it's directly affecting you or makes you look good#just say you hate fat people and shut the fuck up forever actually#like if you're gonna be a fatphobic bigot just eat dirt and shut the fuck up FOREVER#if it seems like i'm overstepping anywhere talking about this as someone who's been skinny 90% of their life.. please let me know#i made my own post after seeing quite a few cause i didn't wanna speak over anyone or make the convo about skinny people#like there's enough weirdos who make unwarranted comments#idk maybe i'm just frustrated because now that i'm a healthy weight people are making a lot of weird comments about me “”getting fat“”#hashimotos is a bitch my weight has never been consistent#but the only time i've actually been fat i was a kid and people were fucking horrific to me and maybe i'm still bitter over that and#bitter over seeing my fat friends have to deal with so much fatphobia that i can't do much to help with

This Explains a Lot
Hey folks, I don’t want to drama queen all over you. I know you all have big problems. But there’s been a recall of medication I take to manage Hashimoto’s Disease.
Hasimoto’s Disease affects something like 1% of the population (depending on who you ask). It’s an autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to attack your thyroid gland.
The thyroid is sort of like your body’s throttle. If it doesn’t work properly, a lot of other things won’t work properly.
Symptoms include (from the Mayo Clinic Website):
Fatigue and sluggishness
Increased sensitivity to cold
Increased sleepiness
Dry skin
Constipation
Muscle weakness
Muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness
Joint pain and stiffness
Irregular or excessive menstrual bleeding
Depression
Problems with memory or concentration
Swelling of the thyroid (goiter)
A puffy face
Brittle nails
Hair loss
Enlargement of the tongue
For my part, the big issues are the fatigue, aches and pains (my hands are sometimes so stiff I cannot move my fingers, and right now my back is killing me,) depression, and memory problems. As in, I will be sitting there working on a drawing and between the time I look at my reference and the time I look at my drawing I can’t remember what I just saw in my reference.
That’s not good.
Also not on the above list: edema, anxiety, high cholesterol, poor heart function, an enlarged heart and irregular heartbeats. I had to have a CAT scan in December, and my anxiety has been swinging back and forth into the red zone for months.
When well managed, I don’t notice it much, but when not well-managed, my life grinds to a halt.
Since cancer treatment, I’ve felt the usual fallout from all that cancer entails. But I honestly thought I should have been feeling much better by now.
But I’m not. I’ve been up and down, but mostly down.
Finding out I’ve been improperly medicated for 7 months certainly explains a lot. A friend of mine who got the defective medication notice from her doctor thought she felt poorly due to long Covid. Another was sinking for months, unable to understand why.
Well, at least we know why.
This doesn’t affect everyone on the medication, just those with certain lot numbers from certain manufacturers. And if you are highly sensitive to hormone fluctuations, even a small variation will knock you right on your keister.
Several people I know heard from their health care providers. Others heard nothing until they asked.
It’s not like I don’t have a lot of stress right now, and figured my anxiety, poor mood, and weight gain originated from dealing with what I’m dealing with.
Well, at least some of it is because my medication hasn’t been hitting the sweet spot.
Bad luck, but it is what it is.
It’s going to take about 6 weeks before I start to feel better, but at least I am working it.
Best Wishes.

So, I’m not proud of it, but I’m back to ask for help again. Above is the link to my Ko-Fi account; I can accept donations via Stripe and Paypal; I don’t have a preference of which method you use. Below is a more detailed explanation of the events that have led to my current predicament; it’s not entirely necessary to understand, but it should make sense of why this happened to me.
I’m dealing with some health problems and a recent car accident and I need help paying my bills for the next few months while I use that time to finish incomplete coursework for classes I took last year. In case it’s not clear, an “Incomplete” is a grade that can be given by instructors at some schools in situations where a student wasn’t able to complete a major assignment for a class due to circumstances outside their control, and allows students a pre-determined amount of time to finish that work beyond the end of the course. I had a plan for covering my expenses with a summer job at the Oregon State University Arthropod Collection (OSAC) while I finished the incomplete work, but the nature of my health issues, an outbreak of fleas, and a car accident have all prevented me from making it work. Now I’m kind of trapped; the cost of living in Corvallis is too high for food stamps to last an entire month, I don’t have a car anymore, and I’ll probably end up homeless if I can’t pay October rent and also pay November rent on time. I’ve managed to find some work doing landscaping and yardwork in my neighborhood, but I’ve realized that it’s impossible to make enough money and also handle the incomplete coursework; focusing on the former will impact the completion of my degree in June, while focusing on the latter will likely result in homelessness. The loss of my car is exacerbating all of this, in part because I live further away from all of the stores/banks/etc. in Corvallis, and public transit here is not very good.
Since late 2022, I’ve been experiencing sleep apnea-like health problems arising from swollen turbinate glands. I have some known allergies, but they’ve never caused swollen turbinate glands. The impact on my sleep quality became so severe that I had to resort to nasal strips every night. I saw doctors about this problem as early as spring of 2022, but none of them were helpful; most of them didn’t listen to me, and none of them considered trying any kind of testing. This ineptitude continued even after directly asking my primary doctor about autoimmune conditions and how we could test for them. Despite how obviously informative blood samples can be, nobody suggested a blood test. I finally lost my patience and demanded they give me a blood test for hypothyroidism at the end of August. Lo and behold, my thyroid hormone levels were an order of magnitude out of the normal range. Autoimmune problems run in my mother’s family, and it’s likely that I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis; this disease is rarer in men, and the symptoms appear very gradually. While I can understand how this would delay detection of the disease, there were FIVE different doctors who saw me in relation to the sleep/allergy problems and none of them considered a blood test. I started taking levothyroxine the same day as the test results, but before being treated, my symptoms became so severe that my ADHD medication stopped working, my OCD symptoms went out of control, and I was experiencing severe brain fog. This is what forced me to request incomplete grades for my courses; I was trying to complete coursework despite all of this, and I was barely able to keep up. Once treatment begins, it takes at least a month to take effect, so my symptoms didn’t start improving until early October. Most recently, I found out that I needed to increase my dosage, but thyroid problems often have complex consequences, and any changes to the dose of the medication will result in unwanted side effects.
My original plan for this summer was to work at OSAC to cover my expenses while I tackled the incomplete coursework. I calculated the gross income I’d need to meet my expenses, and working 30 hours a week at this position well exceeded that amount. My duties as a curatorial assistant change slightly depending on the tasks at hand, but because I am paid from grant money, I must work efficiently, accurately, and in an organized manner. Because I have ADHD, extra measures are necessary in order to meet these requirements. I’ve worked this job intermittently since 2018, so I know how prevent my ADHD symptoms from interfering with my work. Because of the failures by my doctors to address my health problems, I was already struggling to arrive at work on time by June. By July, my symptoms had worsened to the point that I was no longer able to focus on work consistently, voluntarily cutting some days short because I wasn’t accomplishing much, and continuing to work in that state was inherently a waste of grant money. By August I could only make it to work sporadically. As a result, I missed most of the income I could have earned for August and September of this year. I was able to make up for some of this impact by selling old trading cards and video games from childhood, but that money didn’t last very long.
I was also confronted with a flea infestation that suddenly appeared in August. I rent a bedroom in a house with housemates; we tried to eradicate them ourselves, but the landlord suddenly informed us in early September that he hired an exterminator, who was arriving in less than 24 hours. I have some pet reptiles and pet invertebrates I needed to protect from pesticide exposure, so I suddenly had to move my pets to a friend’s house. I also had to re-arrange my bedroom to accommodate the exterminators. Based on the chemicals that were used, the only way I could make room safe again for my pets was by mopping the floor in my bedroom and the adjacent hallway three times. This ultimately cost me four days, and then the exterminators came back in early October, which forced me to repeat the process.
As if this wasn’t enough, I had a serious car accident in late September that annihilated my car and left me with severe lacerations to my left arm and a fracture in my thumb. The car spun out and flipped in the process, landing in the opposite lane. If another car had been about to pass me, it would have caused a direct collision at around 55 mph, and I probably wouldn’t have survived that. I realized the danger immediately and crawled out of the car, but most of the other possible outcomes would have involved my demise. I’m very lucky, but it took almost a month for the lacerations to heal, and one of them was deep enough to cause nerve damage, which hasn’t completely healed yet. My left hand has healed enough for me to use it, but I’m still having some issues with my thumb.
I wish I could say that I had help from my family, but my parents were impacted by both of the recent hurricanes that made landfall in western Florida. Even before the hurricanes, my parents weren’t really willing to understand what I was dealing with. I grew up in an abusive household; my sister and I were neglected by our parents, and we experienced emotional abuse from them as young adults. This is particularly true of my father, who himself is the product of a highly abusive upbringing. Unfortunately, research on the dynamics of child abuse has shown that children from abusive households often suffer a lack of economic mobility relative to children from more supportive family backgrounds as a result of mental health impacts. This has absolutely been the case with my sister and I; both of us are well into our 30s, and neither of us is anywhere close to long-term financial stability. That’s why it was deeply hurtful to hear my father blame me for being unable to fly to Florida on a whim to help him clean up the house, blame me for paying $950 a month for rent, and shame me for being 35 years old without a “stable job”. Both of my parents visited me in Corvallis in late July; they could tell that I was struggling, they apologized for neglecting me, and they told me they’d be more supportive, but apparently everything they said to me then must have been an act.
Hopefully, this explanation sufficiently articulates the situation I’ve ended up in. I almost have enough money to pay my October rent, and I need to have my November rent paid by 11/5. I would have tried using Ko-Fi sooner, but in the interest of upholding my own responsibility, I wanted to exhaust my other options before resorting to donations again

So Mamoru Hosoda was actually involved in Revolutionary Girl Utena - and not just ANY episode.
But the last one (as well as 7, 14, 20, 23, 29, 33, but you get the idea).
Holy duck. And it's no surprise I didn't know about it. According to Wikipedia, "Mamoru Hosoda is credited on all episodes he worked on under the pseudonym "Katsuyo Hashimoto"".
So two of his episodes deal with the Juri/Shiori storyline, one of Wakaba's heavier episode, there is also the Kanae subplot and, OF COURSE, one that ONLY deals with the Shadow Girls. So... Why am I not surprised he got some of the MOST dramatic episodes/subplots there?
#add this to the doremi episodes he was involved with too#this is insane i absolutely want to check this out now#revolutionary girl utena#mamoru hosoda#and i mean all of utena is dramatic but i still remember those as particularly heavy

Please help @samialkhlilis-blog Sami and his family.
Sami's mother suffers from Hashimoto's disease and hyperparathyroidism- from experience with my own acquaintances and family members, I know how difficult and tiring these conditions are to deal with on a daily basis. Constant fatigue, exhaustion, pain, weakness in muscles and joints, nausea, to name a few symptoms. Without access to medication, surgery, or any medical care, living in a tent, having to worry about whether you can even feed yourself.
That's what Sami's mother has had to deal with.
But you can help her. Your donation will bring her closer to necessary medical treatment, and will help Sami and his family begin rebuilding the life that has been taken away from them.
This campaign is very low on funds - 1,475/30,000€ as of writing this post.

Small health update 2:
My other doc calmed me down quite a bit in terms of my MRI - he said that the gadolinium contrast makes the scanning go so sensitive that it finds even the most minute changes in brain. Therefore, the results might seem worrying but are, in fact, not that terrible. The small change they found is/was most likely a tiny mini-stroke that left a small scar, probably due to prolonged stress (no kidding xD). Doc said it is to be observed, but that is likely nothing more than a scar, and that my neurologist will mostly confirm and/or suggest more tests.
Booked an appointment at the endocrinologist as well, will see if he will biopsy my thyroid gland's tiny tumour or just let it be and watch it. *sigh* The truth of Hashimoto's treatment is that I only have to swallow a pill daily and watch my diet... and that's pretty much it. It is not all that great but then again, I got away with this way lighter than others in my family (my mom had her thyroid gland entirely removed in her late '30 and still deals with tumours growing on its stumps).
Thank you all for your warm words and for keeping fingers crossed, it definitely helped a ton! 💪💕🫡
...this is my life from now on, if I start speaking Suomi then you know 🤣 🇫🇮

My Love Mix Up TH Ep 2 Stray Thoughts
Last week, we began the Thai version of My Love Mix Up. Atom has a crush on his high school classmate Mudmee, admiring her nature. He borrows an eraser from her and realizes she likes the guy who sits in front of him Kongthap (based on a belief in writing your crush’s name on your eraser). Kongthap mistakes the eraser as belonging to Atom and think Atom likes him. Atom doesn’t want to embarrass Mudmee so says the eraser is his. Atom ends up jealous and competitive with Kongthap, but comes to see that he’s a decent dude. Kongthap doesn’t return Atom’s feelings, but wants some time to think about them because he doesn’t know what it means to like someone.
I am admittedly curious about the Thai version of Cinderella.
It’s always funny that a pair will be so lovey-dovey that get assigned roles for it in school plays.
Wow, an ad immediately.
Atom is a klutz in every iteration, but you can’t fall in love if you ain’t clumsy.
People recognizing each other’s kindness, and growing closer as a result, is one of my favorite romantic dynamics.
The Thai kids are always sliding across floors. What is up with this?
Okay, I’m giving Fourth a point for going for the Japanese comedic bit of tripping while standing when someone says something harsh or surprising to you. Kinda wish they hadn’t done a camera trick with it and just let Fourth carry the moment.
Welcome back, The Heart Knows.
Whoa, part 3 is under 4 minutes. I would be so pissed if we went to commercial break that quick on live TV.
I really love the costumes these kids put together for their play.
Oof, secondhand embarrassment.
I hope Fourth actually can’t wink, but this is still funny.
Of course, there’s a musical number. This is a Thai BL after all.
He is mopping the carpet.
Two songs? Get to streaming, girlies.
Aw, and here I was hoping they’d put Atom in the same getup as Mudmee.
They do like making Fourth and Gemini dance together, and they got a third song out of it.
The audience ate that fall up!
That’s right. Kick those boys out!
The Atom-Mudmee friendship remains strong in this version.
It’s really tough for this show, I think. Being on the exact same timing as the first adaptation leaves a lot of room that they have to fill with extra stuff, or they let moments go on a long time. As such, it gives the show a slower velocity that I don’t think helps the humor and makes the show a little sleepy. That being said, they are playing with the tropes in fun ways. They extended the brow wipe, and in Thai BL fashion got an ad out of shower scene with toothpaste instead. I do think I’m struggling with the “toxic masculinity” scene, because GMMTV has shown of late that they’re not that keen on dealing with queerness outside of the bubble. I don’t get why they would not have the class support Atom on the front end, and then introduce those boys, if they’re not going to deal with a queer awakening (which is part of the source material). It’s also a bit tough because Aoki doesn’t recognize how serious his own feelings are until the end of episode 2 when he gets saved by Hashimoto, but here he’s been mooning at Kongthap for the whole episode. Maybe it's the branded pair thing and I'm presuming more than has already developed, but it feels off.

Ok time to do what I think MW!Genji, MW!Kiriko and MW!Hanzo's story is cause I've talked about it but I never really made a full post about it. This is also based off a bunch theories and head canon I already have.
Ok so we start off with MW!Rumiko and MW!Sojiro's deaths, they were taken out by the Shimada elders as they were both seen as too unruly and weak. Basically they stood up to the Shimada elders and the Shimada elders killed them. This causes both Hanzo and Genji to take control of the Shimada clan in order to make sure things don't go out of control. Before the brothers take control again Kiriko's parents leave the Shimada clan, recognizing that it's likely only down hill from here.
This leads to Genji becoming a lot more of an obvious target for the Hashimoto as he is one of the leaders of the Shimada clan. So Genji get captured, Hanzo tries to save him... it doesn't go great, and because there is now no one to lead the Shimada clan, it falls, giving the Hashimoto clan control and they basically torture Hanzo by torturing Genji.
When this happens Kiriko and her family get involved again and try to take the Hashimoto down. Kiriko specifically tries to take them out from the inside, going undercover. She finds her chance to take the Hashimoto down when they refuse to work with Talon. She gets in contact with them and they make a deal, Talon will help Kiriko take the Hashimoto leaders down if Kiriko herself takes leadership of them and aligns them to Talon. Kiriko agreeing because she doesn't want a repeat of what happened when the Shimada clan fell, and this way she can protect her family better.
During the commotion of taking the Hashimoto down, Vengeance tells everyone Genji is dead (he didn't, Vengeance is just an opportunist), Kiriko takes leadership of the Hashimoto and Hanzo is left broken at the death of his brother. The Hashimoto now being completely allied with Talon
Vengence then takes Genji and makes him into a living weapon. Keeping it a secret as she doesn't want to deal with the fallout of Kiriko and Hanzo finding out what she's doing. She's confident she can take them but they are to valuable to kill. However, after awhile Genji manages to escape and ends up in Junkertown, far off the grid and just to be sure (as well as just not wanting anything from Talon on him) he gets his prosthetics replaced.
Kiriko then does some digging and finds out that Genji is alive and Talon lied to her and Hanzo, but she knows that the Hashimoto aren't really a match for Talon so she gets in contact with Sombra to get more information.
Another small detail is that Kiriko doesn't go by her real name, like, at all. Mainly to protect her family as she saw what happened to Hanzo and Genji, so keeping her relationship with her parents a secret would be a good way to prevent that from happening to them. The name she goes by is Yōkai (thank u @dawnthefox24 for the name).

So I mentioned in a previous post how Overwatch has a lot of factions that aren’t expanded upon a lot, so I’ve got a list of my top five that are currently represented and my top five that I wish got representation
We’ll start with the ones that currently have representation
Number five is Oasis, represented by Moira who is their Minister of Genetics however we do know in lore that there are other ministers so they could be playable in the future or someone else who works within Oasis
In the same vein as Oasis at Number four we got the Atlantic Arcology which is represented by Lifeweaver. It’s a similar place to Oasis where many great minds live in order to try and further research in various fields and I just feel like both of them should have more representation given the significance they most likely have with advancements in the Overwatch Universe
Number Three is Blackwatch, we only know of four of them and one them also doubles as representation for Overwatch. I want to know more about the black ops of Overwatch, like, did they have a tank?
Number two is the MEKA Squad, with what we know of them in lore is surprisingly little and I’m gonna be honest the vibes I’ve gotten from the lore is that D.Va does most of the work and I want to be proven wrong about that. Plus, the Genshin are meant to be this big threat but it’s hard to take it as a threat when we are only able to see the capabilities of one of Korea’s defenders
And at Number One, the Inti Tribe because why the absolute FUCK is Illari labeled as its only defender!? No seriously, she is fucking 18 why is she treated in lore as her tribe’s only defender. If she was their tribe’s only sun warrior that’s a different thing but she’s working with others to defend their tribe but the Sun Warriors made up the bulk of the defenses so at least then it still gives to the tragedy of her explosion while not leaving the literal eighteen year old as the only defender of an entire giant tribe I want an explanation Blizzard!!! I will crawl into your office like a demon possessed and tear through whatever lore books you have in there to find my answers give them to me!!!
On to the factions that don’t have representation within Overwatch that I feel should have it
At Number five we got the Hashimoto. They’re meant to Kiriko’s main enemy and as of the recent Hanzo short story his as well but they just feel like a dime a dozen goons from what we have seen. Like how Null Sector began to feel like more of a threat after Ramattra was added I feel like the Hashimoto would be seen as more dangerous if we actually got a hero to represent them
At Number Four, the Gwishin. Sort of the same story like with the Hashimoto except we do have some idea of what they are capable of, no what I want a hero to represent them for is how they happened in the first place and how they are able to adapt like they do
At Number three the Wastelanders of Australia, they’re the outcasts of the junkers and what Junker Queen used to be when she was exiled. It shows a new perspective on the Australian Wasteland that’s different from the Junkers
At Number two we got the UN. Look, given how big of a deal the UN is in the larger story of Overwatch I just feel like having a hero to represent them would be pretty good in terms of lore and generally either a character who is morally grey or a villain
At Number one we have the God AI. We currently know the names of four God AI, Anubis, Chernobog, Xibalba, and Macaria. Given the massive importance the God AI have in the lore of Overwatch I’m genuinely surprised that not one of them has been made into a playable hero. I’m also kinda impressed that Blizzard hasn’t released a hero that is just them taking a god from mythology and translating that into an FPS. Anyway, given the various purposes the AI had there’s plenty of ways to design their kits around it and there have been hints that some of the God AI achieved some level of Sentience such as Chernobog’s lore. So yeah, I want them represented in game

This is a really difficult time of year for me now. It's been this way ever since I got sick.
Hashimoto's thyroiditis, the autoimmune thyroid disorder I have, causes both weight gain and weight loss resistance. At this time of year, everyone is bombarded with things about weight loss and exercise and all of that stuff, and it's really difficult when your body isn't capable of it. Exercise is difficult when your thyroid pushes on your trachea and makes it harder to breathe, and you can't do it very long anyway since the same issue has caused you muscle weakness. You have to take everything slower.
I used to enjoy hiking. I can't walk uphill now without being short of breath almost immediately because of the pressure going at that angle puts on my trachea.
It hurts to see all these people talking about how they're going to "improve" their bodies and become rail thin and lose weight and knowing that they think your body is unacceptable because you're sick and it won't change the way theirs will. Diet and exercise can't really do much when you have an autoimmune disorder, and when you try to find out more you find all these quack products and solutions that clearly don't work.
My weight's plateaued at the point it's been at for a few years now. I'm not really getting any bigger anymore, and most people don't even notice it even though I feel like I'm distended. It's dysmorphia on my end - I never look the way I do in my mind - but since I'm not completely flat with no body fat the people in the commercials and ads and medical professionals are all going to just keep trying to "fix" something that can't be fixed because I have an autoimmune disorder.
I want so badly to feel comfortable in this body, but it isn't considered attractive or beautiful or even acceptable by society at large, so it makes it so difficult to really be okay with it.
I'm dysmorphic. This is what I look like in reality.
Even looking like this, doctors like to focus on my weight, so you can imagine what people far bigger than me have to deal with.
I wish we could just move on from this, but it doesn't look like we will anytime soon.

Torchwood - this Doctor Who spin-off features a collection of characters solving alien crimes.
Movies

Books
@the-bi-library has an extensive collection of books, with specific collections based on genre, romantic endgame, intersecting identities (ie. protagonists of colour or disabled protagonists), etc.
The Literary Bisexual offers a smaller but thoroughly-reviewed collection of books from around the world.
I also recommend winners/noted entries for the Lambda Literary Award's Bisexual categories - there are other categories not specific to identity for which bisexual books can be nominated.
Fiction
You Could Be So Pretty (Holly Bourne) - In a world not too unlike our own, where girls and women can be Pretties or Objectionables, what will schoolgirls Belle and Joni make of their lives under the Doctrine after an incident brings them together?
Your Driver Is Waiting (Priya Guns) - Damani, a RideShare driver, falls hard for a white upper-class girl, but she's been grieving her father, caring for her mother and dealing with the ever-growing tension from protesters across the city. When Jolene acts with massive consequences, what will Damani be pushed to do for herself and her community?
Natural Beauty (Ling Ling Huang) - Our protagonist, a former piano prodigy, has had to abandon her potential in order to provide for her parents following a car crash. A job at a famous salon seems to fall into her lap as the solution, but there's always a price to pay for beauty.
Non-fiction
In The Dream House (Carmen Maria Machado) - Machado goes through her volatile relationship with The Woman From The Dreamhouse, intercut with musings on pop culture and history.
Strong Female Character (Fern Brady) - famous in British comedy circles, this autobiography follows Brady's life growing up in Scotland as an autistic woman.
You're Embarrassing Yourself (Desiree Akhavan) - from the Creator of The Bisexual and Appropriate Behaviour, this autobiography covers Akhavan's life as a bisexual Iranian in America.

Hey, can I have Utsuro, Tsurugi, Mikado, and Syobai with a female bimbo ultimate Pastry chef s/o? She's super bubbly and sweet and and bakes for them and wants to fix them? If you could write this I'll give you a shortcake 🍰
Thank you for the request!! I really appreciate it, and how did you know that strawberry shortcake is my favorite dessert?!!? Where did you put the cameras???
I’m kidding lol. No but seriously Strawberry Shortcake is my favorite dessert, there is a great place that serves it in the summer and it’s the best. It’s the highlight of my summer.
admittedly i do not know what a bimbo is and I’m frankly too scared to look it up since none of my friends will tell me.
I decided to write for IRL!Mikado instead of AI!Mikado because you didn’t specify. And honestly was fine with writing all of these characters except I started to get super scared when I got to Utsuro 😭😭
I just didn’t want to mess up or disrespect my husband.
WARNING: SPOILERS; JUNKO MENTION; OOC-NESS; TOXIC BEHAVIORS; STALKING, OBESSION
~ Mod Haruhiko ✈️
Tsurugi Kinjo
🚔 Tsurugi starts out extremely suspicious of your kindness. Even when you bring him some ‘extra pastries’ (you made them just for him), he just thinks you’re being a friendly classmate. Or maybe you’re trying to bribe him. He doesn’t once consider that you may just like him.
🚔 If you keep persisting on being around him and hanging out with him and giving him small gifts— then he will start to develop crush on you back. He won’t understand exactly what he’s feeling so he will definitely go to Yamato to ask for advice. Yamato is his wingman and will probably be the one to actually get you two together.
🚔 When you are finally together, he will be very protective over you. He’s seen too much evil in this world and you’re so sweet and kind and amazing and wonder and— Tsurugi just wants to shield you from that.
🚔 Tsurugi doesn’t have all too much of a sweet tooth. So he won’t often accept that many gifts of pastries from you.
🚔 It will be a long time into you and Tsurugi’s but eventually he will open up to you about everything he had seen. His trauma with his dad, Kouhei, everything will come pouring out. And it would happen on one night too. It would be a night of a lot of tears and depressing talks that involve you holding Tsurugi tight, whispering praise and reassurance.
🚔 Tsurugi’s worldviews will eventually change while you are with him, you and Yamato help him improve as a person. And he appreciates you helping to break him free of his father’s toxic mindset.
Syobai Hashimoto
🚬 At first, Syobai feels bugged by you and your sweetness, rolling his eyes and coldly asking if you have money when you want to talk with him. But, albeit simple, if you bring him a few pastries and tell him that they are free of charge— he’ll changed his mind slightly.
🚬 But Syobai being Syobai Hashimoto, he won’t know how to express his subtle appreciation and connection with you in a proper way, so he’ll just let you be with him or get some information from him without any sort of charge.
🚬 Syobai eventually will confess via just straight up telling you in the bluntest way possible. Bake him something for the first date. He’s always caught so off guard by you, especially when you do something really nice for him. It’s not something that’s he is exactly used to.
🚬 Bake him a pastry shaped like money, he’ll laugh. To be with Syobai you would definitely have to be smart in some regard, as he cannot deal with stupid people without throwing insults at them. You’d probably at the very least understand common sense.
🚬 This man will be hard to fix, he was abandoned in childhood. But after a little while, and a few pastries, he will start to open up a little bit. But he would definitely shield you from his side on the black market, sure you’ll know about it but he will never get into details about it.
🚬 Syobai’s behaviors won’t change even if you try and fix him. He’ll be kinder and more loving with you (in private, will shove you off in public). But he was will still be rude to everyone else.
Irl!Mikado Sannoji
💿 He would probably find you and your information out from either Kokoro or from his excessive stalking of Utsuro. You would’ve been in his class and were a survivor of the killing game but never joined up in the Kisaragi Foundation, opting to do something else to help the world.
💿 Mikado would definitely create a scenario where he accidentally runs into you at like a coffee shop or something, and the two of you instantly hit it off. And Mikado is definitely not developing a very large obsession with you.
💿 Dating him is pretty cool, he’ll take you out on walks or bring you to his apartment or just go to yours. He has a lot of money that he justifies by telling you that he works really high up with programmers. And he refuses to introduce you to Kokoro but he will definitely gush to her about you.
💿 One morning when Mikado spent the night at your apartment, he woke up that morning to the smell of raspberry tarts. Mikado often forgets that you used to work as a pastry chef. And when he takes a bite he almost a faints.
💿 To be completely honest, you might make Mikado worse. You’ll get him to open up to you about his tragic backstory and you’ll help him overcome some insecurities he has but your relationship would be built off so many lies and miscommunications and there is so much you don’t know about him that he doesn’t want you to find out.
💿 He’s so obsessed with both you and Utsuro, and his obsession with you might even surpass his of Utsuro. Sure, he’ll continue to search for him but he is full heartedly convinced that you had inherited Utsuro’s divine luck or something similar.
Utsuro
🍀 Another one who is suspicious of your kind behavior. Utsuro has been used for his luck so many times that he doesn’t understand that someone who hasn’t been with him for years actually likes him for him.
🍀 Utsuro for a long time will pretend to not care about you. So you’ll have to be very persistent with him. After time with you reassuring him that you appreciate him for him, thank him for things you don’t exactly need to, praise, and just spending time with him, he’ll develop feelings for you.
🍀 But Utsuro wouldn’t ask you out, his luck would just make you say yes anyways, and he didn’t want to force you to do anything with his luck. But to his surprise, one random day in February, you give him a box of pastries and then you spill you practically spill your guts to him.
🍀 He’ll silently adore your sweetness and think it’s ironic your talent going on par with it. If you are baking anything, Utsuro would typically sit silently in the corner while reading a book that he would recommend for you to read after he’s done.
🍀 Your existence and being by his side would probably convince him to withdraw from Junko’s plan (and would probably lead to its downfall). But you helping him be a better person and become less distrustful, which unfortunately doesn’t show externally.

These are the BSD ocs I drew a while back in these posts here, here, and here. I'm finally going to introduce them - they are both named for famous haiku poets (two of the 4 Ts!).
Takajo Mitsuhashi
Ability: Fern Hell/Shida Jigoku - A passive ability with an active component. Passively, she has a connection to what may or may not be a kind of life force - she can sense the presence of every individual, making her near impossible to sneak up on. Throttling the connection between person and life force either denotes a strange effect on their ability, or can shut down their life functions and kill them.
Age: 17
Birth Date: January 24th
Height: 162 cm
Weight: 116 lb
Blood Type: AB
Likes: Abstract art, meditation, cicadas
Dislikes: Restrictions, too much noise
Additional notes: Unused to feeling strong emotions, but is far from expressionless in intonation - she tends to be polite yet laid back and mildly cocky, especially when poking holes at authority/She was formerly an assassin/She also has the capacity to barely feel any pain and keep moving, even from deep injuries. This is not an ability. It's implied she trained to be able to do this./Becomes fascinated by Yosano and regularly observes her and her choices/Cannot understand why Takako doesn't think she's cool and then feels frustrated that this upsets her.
Takako Hashimoto
Ability: The Red Thread/Beniito - Allows the creation of a thin red thread, which, when connected with an object or person, acts as a rope to allow her to pull objects closer or drag them. Connections to people sometimes involve her gaining flashes of their emotional state and core desires.
Age: 16
Birth Date: January 15th
Height: 166 cm
Weight: 130 lb
Blood Type: B
Likes: Snow, yubari melon, dancing
Dislikes: Loneliness, feeling left behind
Additional notes: Born to comfortable wealth but has since given that up for unknown reasons/Sociable and empathetic but rarely talks about herself/Has an unfortunate tendency to throw herself into danger without thinking it through, much to Takajo's frustration/Tends to fangirl over people she thinks are cool, like Agent Hisajo/Thinks Takajo is one of the coolest people she's met but pretends she doesn't think so out of embarrassment of admitting that. This leads to childish spats.
They are part of a story involving Takajo attempting to find a powerful ability user-made artifact. Takako is the only one who can locate it, and therefore, they strike a deal to work together. They conflict with an offshoot of the Special Division, which essentially blackmails the girls into helping them find it and store it securely - but both girls are in agreement that the artifact needs to be destroyed (the one thing they do reliably agree on).
Though at first they are only working together out of a shared goal, they eventually come to care about one another deeply.
...ok. Running off now byeee
#storyrambles#*throws them at you and hides*#ugh i'm just always worried that my creations will be disrespectful in some way to the authors. but then i remember that this is#a series where authors are turned into hot anime people and have superpowers.#anyways#bsd#bsd ocs#bsd takajo#bsd takako#hope you like them...!#i never know what weights should be. i throw a dart at the board and shrug#my art
