So since im kinda autistic about the new wolverine and deadpool movie im just gonna post some poolverine/deadclaws headcanons to help keep myself sane :]

Deadpool and Wolverine spoilers under the cut

Also Logan is autistic because I said so

Wade will drink whatever in his coffee in the morning, he doesn't care, meanwhile logan needs a ridiculous amount of things in his morning coffee for it to be drinkable to him

Logan is too much of a wuss puss to admit it though and just didn't drink coffee for a long time

Then, one day, out of the blue, Wade came home with two coffees, one for himself and one for logan (and a puppicino for mary puppins ofc)

Logan refused at first and only agreed to try it to get Wade to stop whining

Needless to say, he was genuinely surprised (and ever-so-slightly creeped out) that Wade knew what he liked in his coffee without telling him

"Apparently, oldie wolvie liked his coffee like that." Wade told him

Wade might've fallen first, but logan fell harder

He was HARD on the denial train

At first he didn't know why or what he was feeling whenever he was around Wade

Feeling jealous whenever Wade gives his attention to someone else? Just annoyed that the other person doesn't express the same "disgust" he has for Wade

Feeling mad when someone finally expresses their "disgust" towards deadpool? That's just because he wasn't that annoying that day and didn't deserve mean (but true) things said about him

Just woke up screaming from a nightmare and needs to hug Wade to feel grounded again because the time ripper killed him in his dreams? He just allows it because mary puppins wasn't quick enough to do it

The feeling of butterflies in his stomach whenever Wade looks at him with nothing but adoration and love in his eyes? Probably just something off in the food he ate earlier that day

Feeling the urge to grab Wade by his face and kiss him while whispering sweet nothings until the universe explodes? Just an intrusive thought or two

It isn't until he's on some random walk with mary puppins that he finally realizes that he just might have a crush on deadpool

He pretty much goes through the seven stages of grief once he realizes

It became more difficult to shove his feelings down his throat whenever he was around Wade after that

It wasn't until another one of their "family game nights" that Negasonic pulled Logan aside to talk to him

"When will you two just make it official already?" "What the hell are you talking about?" "About you and Wade, that's what. You don't seriously think that nobody in this building can see you two clearly have a thing for each other, right?" "Still don't know what you're talking about" "What are you on right now?" "The autism spectrum."

Negasonic gave up trying to talk to Logan about Wade after that

After all of that was said and done, it wouldn’t be until one of Wade's random teasings that finally made Logan snap

"God peanut, you wanna kiss me sooo bad it makes you look stupid~"

That was it.

Logan closed the distance between himself and Wade, grabbed his face, and kissed him passionately before he pulled away

"Hhholy fucking hell peanut, how long were you saving that for?" "You've got no idea bub"

"Does this mean I can finally use the blowjob handles on your mask?"

Meanwhile Althea shouts "I CAN HEAR YOU MOTHERFUCKERS CLEAR AS DAY!"

Main examples right now being, I want to read the Book of Bill, and I want to go see Deadpool vs(x) Wolverine. I have not consumed the new media for either. I also snagged Deadpool vs. Old Man Logan in honor of the Deadpool & Wolverine movie coming out and Deadpool V Gambit: The "V" is for "VS."

Mostly bc once I'm done reading it, I'm handing it over to my friend who simps for Gambit.

Then I got Pins!!! Yippee!!! They were 2$ each and are hand made by one of the owners using pages from comics that are damaged and cannot be resold. There was *one* Kurt pin at the bottom of this plastic tub. Cable just looks so silly and then there's Deadpool and Spiderman. Who doesn't love Deadpool and Spiderman????

My thoughts on Deadpool and Wolverine

(Heavy spoilers for the movie, you’ve been warned)

I just want to start off by saying that it’s a good movie, a fun movie, but it’s not the best Deadpool movie and it’s not the best Wolverine movie.

I think the biggest issue is that it tries to balance the wacky comedy with some heart that Deadpool does with the more somber and serious tone that the Wolverine films do. Sometimes it works…and sometimes it doesn’t. I think the film would’ve been stronger if they focused on making it a Deadpool movie with Wolverine in it vs trying to fit a Wolverine movie inside the Deadpool movie. There’s a whole stretch of the film where the Merc with the Mouth seems like side character in his own movie.

That said if they wanted to show a beaten and destroyed Wolverine they needed a better tragic backstory. When I heard that a bunch of “humans” killed the X-Men my first thought was “huh?” How could they beat Jean Grey a mutant so powerful that she could burn your psyche to cinders? Storm is basically a weather goddess. Professor X literally has the power to change their minds. How did the X-Men get killed by a bunch of regular people?

I have two ideas they could’ve done. The first is go full “Old Man Logan” backstory. For anyone who doesn’t know in the Old Man Logan comic all the villains team up to finally get rid of the heroes. When the bad guys show up at the X Mansion Logan fights them off, all the while unsure of where his team is. When Wolverine finishes off the last villain he turns around and all the bodies are just his team. Mysterio appears and reveals he tricked Logan into killing his friends. They could do that, have it tie into X2 where someone uses Stryker’s hypnotizing fluid to have him kill the X-Men.

Alternatively you could have the same story as the film but instead of humans it’s a bunch of souped up Sentinels. Then during the fight with Cassandra it’s revealed she used her powers to make the Sentinels stronger (something she did in the comics) because she got bored waiting for another Charles to show up for her to kill.

Anyway it’s still a fun movie, definitely worth the price of admission, just not as strong as I’d thought it’d be.

Also here some nitpicks:

The Wolverine-Sabertooth fight should’ve been longer. They even said in the movie we’d been waiting 20 years for this fight and it didn’t even last 20 seconds.

No mention of Ghost Rider. They mentioned practically all the various non Disney Marvel or Sony Marvel films except for Ghost Rider. I’m just saying a quick mention of him fighting Cassandra and almost winning…until Alioth showed up.

Lack of non X-Men villains. All of Cassandra’s minions fall into two categories, disposable faceless minion or X-Men villain. Considering they brought in Blade and Elektra it would’ve been cool to see some of their enemies. Deacon Frost or The Blood Pack from the Blade movies, and while Elektra wasn’t a very good movie I do remember the villain Tattoo being pretty cool or at least bring in a Bullseye variant. Also maybe throw in a Dr. Doom.

They should’ve brought in Michael B. Jordan. After the hilarious misdirect of Chris Evans reprising his role as Johnny Storm, it would’ve been so funny to see Michael B. Jordan coming in and you hear the Wakanda theme and you’re not sure if he’s playing his Johnny Storm and it’s another misdirect or if he’s actually a Killmonger variant. I just think it would’ve been funny.

deadpool & wolverine spoilers

this movie is amazing. it was just amazing. this movie was truly a perfect gift for fans(including me).

I waited too long for this. The first scene was perfect, again. i love deadpool and wolverine. and cameos… wow i knew some of them but some of them I never expected. and the names they mentioned: daredevil, punisher, magneto…

thor holding deadpool, is hemsworth really back? It looked different than in the old movies.

i knew Laura and most of the mutants, i heard rumors about elektra but i was shocked when i saw happy, johnny, blade and gambit. But Chris Evans surprised me the most. i really loved the cameos. when i saw them i didnt think we would see them this much. im glad we did.

in happy's room i saw tony's Picture with peter and the Iron Man helmet was in front of Peter. This didn't leave my mind until the break.

ladypool is blake lively. but we didnt see her face. I'm a little disappointed.

nicepool was nice. dogpool is cute. we saw lots of deadpool variant and the fight was amazing. they all love peter.

all fight scenes were perfect. deadpool vs wolverine twice wow i need more of that.

i didnt know much about cassandra nova but according to the comic stories I heard online, she wasn't such a bad guy. she even let deadpool and wolverine live. Paradox screwed everything up. What were the people at TVA doing while Paradox was doing so much? They just came in the end. At least they let deadpool and wolverine be happy.

When I came out of the movie I was in shock. It took me a while to get over it and now I want to watch the movie over and over again.

deadpool and wolverine's chemistry is awesome.

story was awesome, characters action scenes everything is amazing. I don't know my current ranking right now, but I can probably put this movie in the top five of my favorite Marvel movies.

It was really nice that they included scenes from the Fox universe in the ending. I think Deadpool edited the Johnny scene in the after-credits, I think Johnny didn't say that much.

It was great to see Deadpool and Wolverine holding hands, saving the timeline together, caring about each other, and sacrificing themselves for each other. It was great to have everyone he loves next to Deadpool in the last scene, including Logan and Laura. Are Elektra Blade and Gambit dead? I want to think about what they are still experiencing. The fight at Cassandra's place was also amazing.

Okay, got back from Deadpool Vs Wolverine, and this movie is gonna be rent-free in my head for a week, especially that opening. But now I've got a couple possiblities to note. Either;

Colossus, Negasonic, and Yukio have managed to live relatively comfortable lives in the future posed by Logan despite the key conceit of that movie being centered around mutant genocide, possibly because Deadpool takes exception to anyone threatening his friends.

or

Deadpool went forward in his universe's timeline to dig up Old Man Logan, and thus by returning to his present time he's created a set of circumstances where there are now two Wolverines running around the X-Men universe.

Deadpool and Wolverine: Fox's Marvelous Weapons for the MCU

Okay. This movie was made as a cash grab for Deadpool and Wolverine fans. And it's exactly what we all hoped for!!!

These two characters are the most iconic superheroes that FOX has ever greenlit and now they can finally work together as a team... sort off... if you ignore continuity... or not... But it's still pretty great huh?

Moving on...

Let's not beat around the bush and say this isn't technically our Deadpool and Wolverine because of the Multiverse complexity. Like the last time we saw Deadpool, he was time-traveling willy-nilly, not caring about continuity. And Wolverine, well, uhh... he died as an old man. So clearly, the movie is gonna explain this or straight up ignore it.

Honestly, I'm just happy that Deadpool and Wolverine are back in this new adventure from FOX to the MCU with a lot of violence for everyone to enjoy.

Deadpool, Deadpool, What'chu Gonna Do?

We start in the typical Deadpool-style of movie openings: fourth wall breaking, references, and inappropriately awesome lines and fights. The most morbid and hilarious part of the scene was Deadpool digging up Logan's very clearly dead skeleton and using it as a weapon against the TVA agents. But it's those "let's rewind" parts of a movie where the character explains how they got to the point we saw.

The plot is Deadpool feeling he has no purpose and gives up his life as a superhero (but not before reversing time, saving everyone, and leaving things in Deadpool 2 up in the air like where Cable is). He then gets captured by the TVA as his universe will die off because of Logan's death as Logan was an Anchor Being that kept it alive. Deadpool attempts to find another Wolverine to become an Anchor Being, ending up with "the Worst Wolverine." We then go through this journey of self-actualization as Deadpool and Wolverine fight to make themselves matter no matter what the TVA says.

I honestly loved the movie! It felt exactly like the previous Deadpool films without being repetitive and actually elevated and explored Deadpool's character even further. Even if you never seen Loki, it's not needed to quickly understand what's happening: Deadpool is part of MCU or "Sacred Timeline."

The Cameos... Oh, the Cameos!!!

Cameos in this movie not only feel natural to both the story and its in-universe logic, but also satisfies strong nostalgia feels and references galore. Deadpool's trip to find a new anchor shows up various Wolverines from different comic storylines. Even showing us height-accurate Wolverine, Wolverine vs Hulk, and one played by Henry Cavil minus CGI lips.

There are even cameos from past Fox/Marvel properties. Thus, Jennifer Garner's Elektra and Wesley Snipes' Blade return. Because the setting is the Void, a multiversal Mad Max-style world, it makes sense they would be here. Even Chris Evans reprises his role as Johnny Storm/Human Torch. Only to get defeated, humiliated, and killed within a couple of minutes. The cameo characters also drive the plot where it needs to be, especially X-23 who has a convo with Wolverine about being always the wrong person, but always showing up when it counts.

People will argue that this serves as forced fan service, but Deadpool was always a fan servicey character since his first legit movie. But actually seeing Mutants in the MCU has really got my ideas pumping for what might come in the future.

Mutant Saga Begins

It's quite possible that Deadpool and Wolverine will return in some way, shape, or form to explore the MCU's take of Mutants and the X-Men. Sure, Cassandra Nova won't be coming back, but there are plenty of villains to pit against the X-Men.

The Krakoa Era may definitely be the answer to revamping the X-Men in the MCU, acting more as heroes to mutants and villains to the heroes we've known.

Here's to hoping Disney and Marvel get the idea that we want movies which care about the audience instead of pumping them until they're full.

What I Hope...

Honestly, as a fan of superheroes and an off-and-on MCU fan, I had a lot of doubts about the sheer complexity and magnitude the MCU must deal with. But watching Deadpool and Wolverine actually made me go back to that point where superhero movies felt fresh and exciting. I really hope they do movies like this in the future.

A) Deadpool

B) X-men Including X-men Days of Future Past and all the trilogies which X-men was the fav as we saw the rise of Professor X and Magnetto whom were a pretty damn good duo. They never got Gambit right until thank god for Deadpool once again saving the day.

However the clash of Deadpool origins as one describes his creation from a lab project gone wrong hence the first fight of Wolverine Origin and Deadpool in X-men Origina and the more current version of his timeline in which actually FRANCIS would not of been the object of hate much like wolverines hate for the Trucker in his original Wolverine Origins. Deadpool would have then been even more a foe of Wolverine but Wolverine maid it difficult for that Deadpool to even be a side note

Logan was maybe one of my stand alone Wolverine movie best thou and they were good to use that in the current Deadpool saga.

We all know what new Deadpool did with that montrasty of the old Deadpool in Deadpool 2

C) Iron Man was my favorite over the Cap America’s and really Cap got shorted a movie to make a saga as after Winter Soldier we were already in the Civil War and Avengers rise of Ultran

We had to get Buck’s story first then the Falcon was launched with the more recent 2025 Cap America.

D) The Avengers and nothing is as good a build up to End Game and the most iconic foe titan Thanos.

E) I ll take the Dark Knight my fist DC saga and yeah I am biased that went against my youth as I was a kid during my the Michael Keaton saga of Batman as well as Val Kilmer was my era of becoming a super hero movie fan along with original Superman movies with Christopher Reeves

F) I must not forget Blade

G) Guardians of the Galaxy

H) Spider-Man all of them Toby Andrew and Tom all rocked the shit out of that Spidey role I think they all great.

I) and they should have their own category Into the Spiderverse Across the Spiderverse and we know the end of this Saga is upon us in the near future

J) Thor as we do not have Loki either if we don’t have Thor

K) As well as Wakanda forever and the Black Panther saga

L) Man of Steel Batman vs Superman and Justice League I thought Man of Steel was the best but the other two didn’t make my cut for all time in my mind.

N) Venom one was awesome 2 I didn’t see yet but the upcoming Venom movie in the fall looks pretty good.

O) Antman was extremely great and

P) Hulk and only the Incredible Hulk not Eric Bana and Ed Norton was my preferred hulk but Ruffalo was a nice addition but he sort of was a stretch for me to be as good as Norton’s portrayal I was upset with the Hulk John Woo version and if you were around the hype was as bad as when we saw Godzilla in 1999 well actually a re vised Godzilla that was a far looking different Godzilla than the Godzilla we always saw growing up.

Q) Aquaman never really interested me but I guess we must include

R) Wonder Woman and 84 and we know she appears in Justice League as well as Batman vs Superman

S) Shazam not a big fan here but I got give respect that his series is better than anything in this next choice

T) Fantastic Four it’s a shame and hopefully they get it right with the next adaptation of Dr Doom who besides Thanos was really a bad dude in which took all Four and. Silver Surfer to take down.

U) Harley Queen as well as the Bird-of Prey and Suicide Squad

V) Spawn this needs a revision but I didn’t mind the OG.

W) Blue Beatle just saw it and it was a good start

Now the last few here technically didn’t make the Saga criteria but along with Logan even though it was an end but not for ever end .were decent hopefully to something that could have been even better if they did the adaptation better down the road. The Punisher series is a series I will have to revisit as well as the Flash but the Flash just could never get that mass fan fare as much as any other DC character I still think Superman or Batman is an always better draw for audiences which is a shame but it is the reality. And maybe it could have caught up to Spider-Man success but it really never launched as much as the future for DC moving forward.
