So like. As y'all may know, I . Cut . Well, not really anymore. It's been like a few weeks. But I've got a few (a lot) scars. I personally don't really care. Like, oh no there's some lines on my thighs noooo :/

My issue is... The opposite. While it's weirdly comforting seeing others with scars (even if it's a horny post, I'll stop being horny and. Just wanna give op a hug) I. Have noticed the stupidest thing. Whenever I see... Deeper cuts? I feel like shit. Like I'm somehow a faker. There were times when I was cutting where I seriously started doing it more just because I thought I wasn't doing enough to. Deserve... To self harm? It's like how I can't take punching or biting my tongue or scratching my neck seriously either, like. Those don't count c'mon. Except. Much worse.

I. I feel so bad for this one dude I. Okay so, I had a class last year right? It was like a weight lifting class. We'd just go to the weights room and fuck around. But it was mostly the super athletic sporty type. Except for like. Me and one freshman. I mean there was one other dude but he was in football or something so he's basically sporty. Anyways me and this guy would chit chat. He's cool as hell . I think the poor bastard looked up to me, like "woaaah the smart upperclassman" when really I was a fuckin mess. I wouldn't call him a friend since we didn't talk outside of that class. But. Whatever. I think he looked up to me. Ig I was kinda like "hey. Dumbass nerds can make it too lol". I remember him talking about how he liked to play Minecraft & thought it wasn't cool and I was like "dude. I know this dude doing internships with NASA and studying architecture and stuff. Guess what his favorite game is? Minecraft lol" (shoutout dako) like. "Hey lil dude you can make it and keep doing what you enjoy". Anyways... One day we're sitting on the bench y'know. Waiting for class to start... And. Some of my cuts show. I. Like he asks if I'm alright, and I laugh it off and cover my legs you know. But. Looking back on it... That's so fucked. Like, imagine you have a role model. Who's managing themselves and not getting involved in bullshit and smart and funny and. One day you get a peak into the fact that they're a complete fuckign mess. I. I dunno I. Feel bad. Also last night remembering that genuine "are you okay?" Had me fucked up. I. There's not really a point to this just. On my head. In my mind

Anyways that's the self harm part of tonight's rants done. I'm alright tonight to my knowledge, so. Don't worry about me !!!

i’ve been following ur writing for some time now and i do have to agree with that anon who said you did CH dirty. you are a very talented writer so it’s just hard to watch.

you started off CH so strong with the lore and little chapters here and there but as it progressed you kind of just got lazy and it shows. when important events happened in the story, they weren’t conveyed through writing but through the texts (ie the riki and yn fight, that was definitely worth a written chapter) and it was honestly disappointing.

the ending isn’t much to say about either. yn and hoon barely go through development after the letter incident and all of a sudden they’re dating and married with a kid like two chapters later?

idk, if it was a mental health issue then i get that but even then you should’ve just gave it a break and thought everything out more. you could do so much better.

i wanna put you through the progess of a piece of writing from the POV of a writer okay? now keep in mind: i work two jobs, am a fulltime uni student and the daughter of an immigrant household with two parents who still work most of the day just so you know what else i have to deal with, besides my mental health okay?

now, i started off CH strong right? yes. i uploaded on the daily, fine i chose that. a chapter usually takes me around one hour if i actually sit down and focus on nothing but the chapter itself, which includes IG stories, editing, formatting etc. alright

on top of the daily chapters, i constantly replied to 40+ asks a day, a blessing in disguise because no matter how much i enjoy talking to you guys, the pressure does get worse the bigger that number of my inbox becomes, i hope this makes sense

now, i started CH back in october, right when my semester started, thats why i started off strong but as time went on, my assignments and private life got too busy and i guess i felt entitled enough as a writer to skip a few certain chaps and make life a little easier for me by making them regular chapters instead of written ones.

and this is gonna be my main point: i'm not a machine. i wrote a minimum of 5 THOUSAND words per written chapter, MINIMUM. we're talking about a 5-9 THOUSANDED worded chapter EACH WEEK. which usually took me about 6-7 hours, even allnighters.

yes, i chose to do that and maybe my time management wasn't the best but i had to create a compromise where i wouldnt have let you guys wait for over two months which would have resulted in me losing my motivation completely, and yet still focusing on EXAMS. because you know, i'm a fulltime uni student with TWO jobs 😮‍💨

if YOU think i did CH dirty go write an alternative ending yourself but it should be a minimum of 15 chapters including 5 written ones, with at LEAST 9k words each yeah? i wanna see you manage it all, pls prove me wrong snd show me you're better than me i'm genuinely begging bc it might inspire me to do "better" next time.

as a writer/artist/creator, and i can tell you probably arent one yourself or havent been one for long, the longer smth takes to come to an end the worse the pressure becomes which results in a blockage i dont wish upon my worst enemy i'm being deadass. i dealt with some of the worst writer's block ive had since i started writing literally 12 years ago and you're telling me i should have just "taken a break" and do "better"

i never, ever expected anything from anyone but some of you are so entitled to a writer's time and skill it's giving me a headache. maybe you didn't like the timing and writing of the last few chapters of CH and i guess that's unfortunate but this was so unnecessary because you completely dismissed everything else that could have been going on in my life and even belittled my mental health issues like im some fucking AI writing machine

do better, be nicer, write it yourself if you don't like it i'm so fucking over this

if i had gotten out of my own comfort and wellbeing and have actually written another set of written chapters i would have burned myself completely out. ive been in this fandom for not even a year and have already finished FOUR smaus with 50 chapters each, you do NOT get to tell me what i should or could have done better because you dont even give a fuck about me as a person this is just about receiving what YOU think YOURE entitled to but this is MY art and I will do what I see fit even if it's not what was expected of it because i'm a fucking human being with a life before i'm a writer on tumblr

It's been at least 6 months or more I believe.

what led you to create it?

I actually had it from before but i never really posted anything. The thought that there might be people willing to read my works more than my own family and friends led me to create it. I was done shying away.

what's your favourite thing about the writeblr community?

I absolutely adore the supportive and inclusive nature of the writeblr community! It's a space where writers from diverse backgrounds and genres come together to share their passion for storytelling. I love how everyone encourages and uplifts each other, offering constructive feedback and celebrating each other's successes. The community's enthusiasm is infectious, and it motivates me to keep writing and improving my craft. I also appreciate the wealth of resources and knowledge shared within the community, from writing tips and prompts to editing advice and publishing insights. It's amazing to see how writers willingly share their expertise and experiences to help others grow. Most of all, I cherish the sense of belonging and connection that comes with being part of this community. Hahaha.... Since months, years and i still haven't even written a chapter for some of them. I hate myself for that. But since The Masque of Murder is recent, it's been a week or so.

do you remember what inspired them/ what got you started?

Yeah i remember reading a manhwa which had this crazy but mad genius doctor as a minor villan. It got me thinking that it was a waste of his abilities and damn good looks and he would have been surely protected by the plot armour had he been the main character instead. This forced me into making it lol.

I feel like i have 70% control and 30% is something they do it themselves because i give them the freedom to do so. Because that is the story of my character and not of me, even if I am the one who wrote it. Sometimes the decision i make for them is not what they'd do.

Favorite instrument: I'm always gonna have a soft spot for percussion/drum kits because that's what I used to play. but purely on the basis of sound? probably bass guitars. their range is unmatched, they can be tuned up to drive a melody as well as the bassline, and the Crunchiness of good bass just fucks so severely.

My mom's in the ER with my sister because her (mom) sugar went up. And she hasn't been taking her medications or her insulin or gotten a new PCP after her old one suddenly up and closed his business. (Like deadass they scheduled an appointment for her and when she went they were shut down. No notices, no calls, no nothing!)

So both me and my sister are beyond frustrated and upset because she legit isn't taking care of her health and she will sit around all day in her phone and like not eat anything until one of us comes in the room and asks us to make her something. And that could be HOURS! And no matter how much I tell her to stop fasting she still does it cuz "God told her to" and not to question her faith or relationship with God but...fasting for over a year (or two idk how long at this point) for HOURS every. single. day. when you have a major health issue is ridiculous. I'm sure God didn't want her to maintain it for that long especially one where she doesn't pray or anything. She just like...watches TV and plays on her damn phone so, ma'am!, what kinda fast???

Anyway, I'm digressing.

THE POINT IS I need her to care for herself. Like I NEED her to want to do it for herself. I've said this time and time again, like it's a bad song on repeat at this point, but I cannot take care of her for herself.

I can make her meals but I can't make her eat them. I can sort out her medicines but I can't make her take them. I can see her appointments but I can't make her go to them or tell the truth while at them (a problem I also had with my dad btw. He just would not tell his doctor everything and I would be like, "Are you fr right now???" At one point the doctor just talked directly to me because my dad was acting like everything was fucking fine when it WASN'T!).

And I feel like my mom thinks we're SUPPOSED to care for her because she, and I quote, "did it for [her] mother" and yeah I get that. And honestly, I have no problems doing for my mother, but my grandmother also did for herself. When she needed help she asked for it but she was very much able to tend to her own needs up until the last few years of her life when her health deteriorated to the point where additional assistance was mandatory and we ALL helped then. (I legit flunked out of the second half of my first year of college to help my mom take care of my grandma and I still don't regret it to this day. It was a joy to care for her and to be with her in those last few months of her life.)

But my mom still has a lot of her mobility and functioning and I get that she's tired after nursing three children, two elderly parents, a husband, not to mention her actual nursing job, but I don't like her not trying. Like for HERSELF. It often feels like she's just like, "why do I have to do this when I have daughters?"

And it's like, we won't always be here. I'm here now but what about in the future? I wanna live more! I haven't even done an iota of and iota of what I want to do. And I get it, that's on me. Those are my choices and I accept them but it wouldn't be fair for me to never even try because I have to stay home and build my life around caretaking my mother while she's still relatively young and able bodied. Like if she wasn't then this wouldn't really be a discussion. I would have my frustrations,.for sure, but I would deal with them because I know my mother couldn't do for herself. But knowing that she CAN but just often WON'T??? That's a whole nother thing. A WHOLE nother thing.

I just...

I think about how ppl have repeatedly told me "there's always one that stays behind" meaning there's always a child that stays and takes care of the aging parents. And that one was my mother and I despise that saying for a plethora of reasons but mainly because people say it to me like "give up your dreams, your hopes, your goals because your life is already decided and it's taking care of your mother at the expense of everything else." It makes me bitter. And I don't deserve that. My mother doesn't deserve that.

She deserves to live her old age in peace as comfort and joy. And I deserve to live the last embers of my youth the same.

But how I do that if people are pre-determining my life to be built around someone else? Especially at the expense of the small facet of happiness I managed to eek out for myself? What cruelty!

And I still want children some day. So am I only meant to care for others and leave no care for myself??? Idk the answer to this but what I DO know is, I need my mother to get it together. To care enough about the rest of her life to want to actively live it and not just lie around wasting it away waiting for me or someone to do the very basic of shit for her.

I need her to care enough for herself. I can't do it for the both of us. I just can't. Something will eventually have to give and I fear when that time comes because I'm nto sure of what choice I'll make and I'd hate for it to be me at the risk of harming her. If that makes any sense.

I just want her to care. That's all. Just care about yourself, mommy. Love yourself enough to try. PLEASE! For the love of God, please!

THE HAIKYUU BOYS AND WEIRD SHIT THEY DO

KUROO gets his headphones caught on the doorknob EVERY SINGLE TIME he walks into a room. he refuses to buy bluetooth ones because "these ones are just fine". no, they sound like music playing from fucking two miles away. he literally got them at a gas station two years ago how are they functional.

NOYA puts slices of american cheese on lays ripple chips, pops it in the microwave for 30 seconds, and calls that nachos. yes, he makes this at tanakas house and TANAKA LIKES IT. he also puts ketchup on literally everything. chicken nuggets? sure, understandable. but no, he will literally put it on everything. toast, eggs (acceptable), FRUIT. HE PUTS IT ON FRUIT. "idk it just feels better." HUH!????!?!

ATSUMU will trip on the same stair every fucking day. osamu used to make fun of him for it but it's been only so many years and now it's just annoying to him, how the fuck does he trip on the same exact one every day. osamu thought it was cause atsumu was talking to him and not paying attention to where he was going, so he got to class before him once, looked outside, and saw him trip on the fucking stair.

YAMAGUCHI had a my little pony phase a little later than everyone else (like eighth grade) so he still remembers everything about it and infodumps to tsukki about it. to no surprise tsukki fucking hates it. yachi finds it a little strange but she doesn't mind it.

TSUKISHIMA will literally just ignore you. he won't even make a snarky comment or tell you to leave him alone like deadass sometimes he just blatantly fucking ignores you. he doesn't even try to make it obvious he doesn't wanna be spoken to either, he won't even have his headphones on or be on his phone, you'll ask him something and he'll just stand there and look forward like nothing happened.

OIKAWA will forget to shut off EVERYTHING. i cant imagine this mans electric bill because he leaves on every light in the goddamn house for hours at a time. he forgets to shut the fridge, close cabinets, turn off faucets, LOCK HIS DOORS AT NIGHT!?!?! this man would be a nightmare to live with.

LEV genuinely enjoys watching golf. he doesn't even play or know how it works but when he's bored he WILLINGLY flips the tv to some sports channel and watches golf. why.

HINATA eats like a child (i'm also guilty), we constantly spills shit all over himself and forgets to wipe his mouth. i love this man but jesus christ when he's done eating something it looks like a nuclear missile hit the fucking dinner table.

A HUGE STORYTIME, Y'ALL

Okay, so.

Remember the past time I posted on here about me getting drunk, and asking my best guy friend out and getting friendzoned and being terrified about the tests I had this week?

Yeah well, a LOT has happened after that (love how I straight away come to tumblr if I want to talk about anything, or get something out of my system..this really is my journal now at this point, lol). Grab your popcorn, your coffees, your whatever, this has been a LONG week.

So, after that happened, I didn't sleep the whole night, naturally. I played music in my headphones at full volume (honestly surprised bout how I'm not deaf yet) and didn't sleep the whole night. 'Woke up' in the morning, made me a strong coffee and thought alright, lets start studying but I just couldn't focus. And I had a bad headache (surprise surprise) so I just flipped my book close and slept and did this for like three days nonstop. I ate so much takeaway (I never do that, I really love cooking all my meals), I listened to sad songs on loop but the worst? I DIDN'T TAKE MY TESTS! I don't know what happened, I just didn't care. I was like, I don't wanna do this shit. I'm just, idk I wasn't really doing much.

But theeeeen, like 3-4 days later, the said guy friend rang me up and I didn't talk to him and he kept trying multiple times but I was too embarrassed to talk to him so I didn't answer and this man DEADASS SHOWED UP AT MY DOOR WITH A WHOLE TUB OF COOKIES AND CREAM ICECREAM AND SAID THAT HE LOVED ME AND NOW WE ARE DATING??????????

Sounds straight out of a romcom and I still don't believe it, but that happened? He said when I asked him out, it blew him away and he didn't know how to react or what to say but he's thought about it long and hard and I quote 'I have pulled all the right strings of his heart????' you guys i -

So after our little romance was over, I looked around at the state of my room and the state of myself and my calendar and how I'm only like 65 days away from my finals and that I DIDN'T TAKE ANY OF THE TESTS THIS WEEK AND THIS WAS PROBABLY THE LAST WEEK TO TAKE THEM.

So, I gathered myself and talked to my professor bout how I was just 'burned out' and 'not feeling my best, mentally and physically' and got lectured about how I'm so 'irresponsible and unprofessional'! So much for all the mental health awareness days yeah? But, she's said she'll try to work something out and let me know by the end of today, hopefully it'll be positive news, but we shall see.

As of right now, I've just had a hot shower (although its like 99 degrees where I live, but hot showers are therapeutic so), I lit up some incense to clear all the negative energy that I have been filling my room with, sprayed on some perfume and am all ready for the day (although its like 4 PM already, but yeah). I picked up all my lose reading material and organized it into a binder (the dopamine I get from organizing, UNREAAALLL), I plan to now take my calendar again and just do a little shift in the plan (with a timer, or next thing I know, I would've been 5 hours into that shit) and start studying, yeah!

Told ya, its been a LONG week. But I'm back and I'm trying again. Hopefully I will make it to the other side.

first and foremost i think kihyun is very Capable like kihyun is like. so good at being an adult like he just knows how to do everything it’s so weird it’s like he was born just Knowin. like he’s just so confident and he’s good at speaking most of the time and like he said he would go to vocal lessons while working two jobs that weren’t even close to each other like he’d have to take the train and he’s so determined even going to school like he’s been doing while promoting as an idol like he just has a really type a personality and he wants to be good at everything and he has the drive to achieve that as much as any human can it’s very respectable and imo a very attractive quality like i feel like if i asked him how to do anything he’d know for some reason

he’s very charming and he knows it and sometimes it’s greasy LMAO like when they had to do the pick up lines in that video and mx were dying in the bg but it’s very effective i think that’s really good for networking etc and he’s so friendly to other ppl he acts like he already knows them but he isn’t like…overstepping boundaries which is imo the way to become friends with someone wh said one time that to get close with ppl you just have to act close i think and that’s what kihyun does he seems very sociable and friendly and easy to talk to like he makes an effort to keep the conversation going and get on the speaker’s level/help them understand the topic 

tying in with him being rly capable he’s so good at cleaning n cooking like why is he so damn responsible lmao share some of those skills w/ me…wtf…but like wow that’s rly a whole adult i bet he even does his taxes on time but he takes his work so seriously and like he’s not even a dancer but he puts so much focus n energy into dance and it shows he’s so impressive…i…i hate it

so! i think what makes ppl misunderstand kihyun is he has this weird like…sharp outside/soft inside thing going on…coughs tsundere   but by that i mean  he’s not Genuinely mean   but he plays along well with others esp 93 line they have a very cozy n roasty dynamic going on and he’s quick to tease others in a friendly way unfortunately ppl take that as ONE personality archetype the “savage” just like shakespeare invented and that ONE personality trait supercedes ALL OTHERS n suddenly kihyun hates everyone like false…hello he’s just bein a scorpio (he’s born n like the First day of saggitarius but he himself has said he’s a scorpio n the time he was born rly indicates that so im just going with scorpio these   are the Facts) he ALSO…isn’t very comfortable with “mushy” stuff he’s fine giving compliments but when they get into genuine emotional things it’s not that he gets weirded out  it’s more like   it’s okay until He has to get mushy abt his own feelings at least from what i noticed

i was actually surprised bc kihyun is somewhat easily embarrassed and i didn’t expect him to be so nurturing on an emotional level like hugging changkyun when he cried, he sympathy cries w/ wonho lmao, comforting wonho when he cried during that one v live. i thought he’d be more of a supportive but awkward type in that situation but he actually empathizes really well. that’s why i think kihyun’s personality is so like  contrary there’s all these traits that seem to be the opposite of each other but melt together just fine in his personality

but he actually has a very nourishing presence he just seems to have like a different rule for himself and he doesn’t like to get all deep or w/e that’s so scorpio of him…it embarrasses him lol he doesn’t like emotional vulnerability if he thinks it opens him up in a negative way but here he goes again with the contradictions- he’s emotionally open with children and pets. he’s amazing with children and animals n feels a lot of love n affection towards them as well as the members but honestly i’ve practically raised my little brother from infancy to like four years old and i have very high standards for child care but kihyun takes such pride in his work as always n he luvs the Babies so he is very mm meticulous abt it. i got stressed when the kid’s heads weren’t supports while getting sleepy in their chairs n then the moment i got stressed kihyun’s hand wld fly out to support their heads and he held them and esp the sick babie :(( even when he cried kihyun didn’t get panicked as many ppl too and hand him off to one of the more experienced ladies he comforted the babie n held it n also

during mxray season 2 when they met the kids again he got all worried abt i cant remember which kid it was…jongwon! i think he was worried shownu wld hurt him by accident in the bounce house thingie lmao which i was worried abt too so he was like be gentler and my heart…she soared he rly cares abt them :(( in a very genuine way n also! at the batting cages v live there were kitties and he, wonho, and ck were worried abt them getting hurt. he’s just a very caring n loving person and he does engage in a lot of skinship like they said on the psychology analysis part of mxray but i think rather than physical affection he shows love through actions like waking the members up and finding stuff for wonho etc ordering the other members around n leading them in the right direction he definitely has a BIG leadership quality n a desire to be in control but he doesn’t let himself like usurp shownu’s position lmao he just relishes the times when he gets power

i always say it’s more like shownu, minhyuk, and kihyun are three coleaders and i think they all compliment each other extremely well and kihyun is a rly good mc esp in things like mon happy radio he and minhyuk are rly entertaining and work together really well which is rly cool

he rly rly loves the members in a very fond way they make him smile a lot and what i think is so funny is i think kihyun originally has more of a tendency in situations like that there’s something historically in comedy called a “straight man” (i know) where someone else acts like an idiot and this person basically doesnt find it amusing n acts serious or upset kasjfsf and i thought kihyun wld be like that but i think mx just has such a goofy energy and kihyun often engages in the goofiness but that seems to me like something that probably changed when he met the boys i can’t seem him being like that arnd other ppl but i think he’s very fond of their dynamic and embraces it now like he laughs in this Specific way when the members all get Ridiculous like he’s in fond disbelief like when they kept singing the UFC song!!! in no exit like he’s lovingly saying “these idiots” in his head it’s really cute tbh he’s just very often Fondly Exasperated like when mh ate the whipped cream at the end of that one vid/when ck ate food of the plates from other ppl in mxray you can just tell he has so much love for his members 

as for his relationship with 93 line that’s just pure love n friendship to the point of comfortably making fun of each other n i really hate when ppl act like it’s genuine hatred bc you can’t make jokes like that with people if you genuinely dislike them they’re just all three very comfortable with and fond of each others and build off each other very well comedically and the teams switch up as to who is making fun of who and like?? if they rly hated each other things like mon happy radio with mh and kh and the times when mh was absent and hw was the replacement would be possible. they get along fine for that and it’s like an HOUR long of just them together and they make jokes and they compliment each other like anyone with more than 2 brain cells knows they don’t actually hate each other but :) had 2 say that

CAPABILITY ASIDE kihyun has these moments of hilarious like…airheadedness   as demonstrated in aleena’s amazing gifset of kihyun being dumb. he’s so smart but he just lapses on the most ridiculous things aksjfasf it’s so funny  kihyun, staring at a seatbelt: does this go around my neck   is this the Neck Belt  Oh..  just youthful naivete which the other members bring up sometimes n his face when they got their first win :(( cld it be…kihyun is a soft babie!! it Cld !! :D

also vocal wise i’m not a Professional or anything but he’s rly one of the best vocals in kpop like breath support and not singing with strained notes and vocal agility he’s just so good he and shownu are actually different imo than a lot of kpop vocals who just sing n half of it’s like  rhythmic yelling lmao like he and shownu can both sing BALLADS well and with CONTROL they’re so incredible and kihyun has a pretty wide range imo it’s very healthy singing with lots of support
