So I went through a bunch of different memes and threads about the ‘Zhan Tiri is Varian’s Mom’ theory and I just have to say that I love it but I’m so disappointed there’s so little about it. I couldn’t even find any fics!! So, while I won’t be writing my own, I’ll write down my headcanon for this AU/Theory in a story outline format. Anyone can adopt and write this if they want, just tell me first please. If there's any mistakes it's because I'm posting this half asleep. Oh and, sorry, I would put the read more thing but I don't know how to :/...

So for background, Zhan Tiri had like a big time crush on Demanitus and wanted to be with him, but he big time friendzoned her. Then she became all evil (for separate, canon, reasons) and he banished her to the limbo or whatever

While there she is just vibing for a few (1,000?) years, but then one day (Two years before Varian is born) She spies a little rip in the limbo place, big enough to escape from

But the time spent there drained her significantly, she has like 5% magic or something and is weak physically in general

She figures out that she won’t be able to spend too much time free, only approximately two years, so there wasn’t really anytime to enact any evil, epic, plan of revenge just yet. She was too weak to get started regardless. But she still needs to make this time count.

While trying to figure out what she should do, she stumbles upon Old Corona and sees Quirin

Ok, more background, Qurirn (and so Varian) are direct descendants of Demanitus, like his great great whatever grandsons

And Quirin just so happens to look like Demanitus

Zhan Tiri immediately recognizes that he’s related to Demanitus and starts her plan to take advantage of this

She has just the smallest amount of magic left and uses it to shapeshift into the form of what Varian’s mother looked like in that portrait. An unassuming, kind looking commoner woman

She does the whole, ‘trips into his arms and acts flustered’ and he falls for it perfectly

By the end of the first year, they’re married and she’s pregnant

When she’s just out of labor she uses some stored up magic (from the months of resting) to produce a fake body that looks like her fake form and uses it to fake her own death via childbirth. It’s not too long after that when she’s sucked back into the limbo hell place

While stuck in there, she’s able to occasionally peer through little windows into the mortal world. From there she’s able to (kinda, and sporadically) watch Varian grow up

She sees him learn about alchemy and build machines and is like big proud

She sees when Varian meets Rapunzel for the first time (she recognizes Raps as the Sundrop™ right away) and she definitely sees the Storm and Amber incident. She watches as her husband (technically still married) gets encased in Amber and her son is thrown out into a blizzard with no help for his father

Now, here’s the thing, her fake relationship with Quirin was of a loving wife, but she didn’t particularly care for him. BUT she does have a dull attachment to him and he is the father to her child. She cares about him enough to want to get back at anyone who harmed him (which might be a bit of a territorial urge but they are technically still married)

And with Varian? She ADORES Varian. Every bone in her evil body loves that little scientist. (The only problem with this, is that, while yes, she does love him, it’s borderlining on an unhealthy love for reasons that include, but are not limited to...

She’s had no mothering experience and is (will be) absolutely terrible at it, she values his mind and what he can do quite similarly to how Gothel views Rapunzel’s hair (but unlike her actually cares for his well being beyond that as well), and well she’s just an evil person who will use him for her evil schemes)

ANYWAY all this concludes to the fact that now Zhan Tiri has a reason other than her being the Sundrop™ to hate Rapunzel, a very personal reason

Luckily for her, the Storm weakened the Limbo barrier place enough so that when she broke out this time? Well, not at full power, but lots of magic and strength!! But she is confined to a astral form, or otherwise she’s in her little ghost form

She’ll be able to show herself to one person (ngl i think the reason Cass could see her was because she was at the hotel then had the moonstone so idk how else Varian could see her right at this point and I might be completely wrong, but whatever I’m going with this) and she choses Varian of course. She changes to look like the form of his mother and appears to him while he’s deliriously trying to break his dad out of the amber

The poor kid hasn’t eaten or slept for days and is handling dangerous chemicals, so when he sees her (after the initial shock of seeing his dead mother’s astral projection) he assumes that she’s an hallucination

She forces him to sleep (and eat) and eventually she is able to convince him that she’s real

She then convinces him to get his revenge on Rapunzel (he had been still trying to convince himself that she was ok and/or that she would come check on him after the storm)

I can't really think of what would happen between then and the finale, but I imagine he still gets arrested and Zhan Tiri gives him advice on how to break out (like guard schedules or whatever) and also spies on Rapunzel’s group traveling (let's say she can teleport wherever with her ghostly form)

There would be no Andrew and Varian team up if I were to write it but whatever

Thank you so much @emiliaf25 for tagging me!!! I've seen a lot of fun writing tag games going around, but I haven't been tagged in any before now. This is probably due to the fact that while I write a lot, I don't publish most of my stories so like no one knows lol. I tried to put these in chronological order from newest to oldest, but they're not perfect, as I do not keep accurate time of when I write things (and probably should). Anyway, here are mine:

"Choices": a horrible original romantic comedy I wrote as a script 5 years ago. Tbh the idea wasn't even that bad, it was the execution of it that just... really sucked. So it's a good thing we're stopping here, as if I went any farther back in my writing history, I think I might just cringe myself to death.

Now for which one is my favorite... there are some that are definitely good, and others that are definitely bad. I like numbers 2 (cute opening line for a fluffy fic), 5 (wordplay with "coiled" and Crowley being a snake), 7 (twisting of an expected trope), 8 (brings in scifi element and introduces the character's personality while hooking the reader in), 9 (set up for the tone of the rest of the chapter and immediately introduces tension), 11 (same as previous), and 12 (also attention-grabbing), so we'll just let those make up for whatever atrocities 16 (horrible imitation of corporate writing), 20 (just plain boring), and the attempt of 18 (I had the right idea of it being a hook, the execution however was horrific) were. I start a lot of my pieces with dialogue, or at least I used to. I became aware of that within the past year and tried to work on introducing stories in other ways, which I think I've done a pretty good job on. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably go with 7. I just really like the subversion of expectations that you get right away from it. It announces the trope loud and clear, but plays with it instead of following it.

zabuza and haku: OF COURSE this still makes me bawl my eyes out, “if possible, i wish... to go to the same place as you” is such an iconic naruto quote for a good reason. 10/10. (and the way haku finds out post-mortem how, really, zabuza didn’t see him as a mere tool all this time after all....!!! i hope they rest easy in the afterlife.)

hayate: does this even count. even on “sad naruto death” collages i don’t think i’ve seen a single person acknowledge that he was killed LOL

hiruzen: i cannot believe i actually cried over this bitch as a kid LOOOOL like??? it does make me the tiny smidgest sad how he was still trying to believe in the good in orochimaru until the very end but that’s all i’ll say. when you find out later how he was complacent in the uchiha clan massacre and also i realize now that i’m older that he could’ve VERY EASILY done something about how naruto was neglected but chose to do jackshit, that and reread the konoha crush it feels like this fight gets dragged on for so long and i’m just waiting for him to die faster bye bitch!!! 👋👋

chiyo: NOOO MILF YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE TOO SEXY TO DIE!! 😭😭💔 ok but seriously, chiyo’s death it doesn’t have the “nooooo!!!” factor because she did willingly give up her life, not going out torn up and bloody, just peacefully transferring her life force away, but... wow. her death speaks so much about how she was willing to past things onto gaara, and his generation. it’s such a fitting death. and you know what i honestly want to say that chiyo is the best written female character in the whole damn manga...

asuma: HHHHHH???? i mean OF COURSE i love team 10 the most OF COURSE this tears my heart into pieces but!!! i wish it was better written!!! like of course his death cuts into shikamaru deep and by proxy it makes me so emotional because of it but... asuma you do have two other students Hello... the first half what he says to ino about how caring she is great, the second half about not losing to sakura in ninjutsu or in love is... kinda Uh but. the first half of what he says to chouji about how big his heart is is great, the second half about asuma spouting fatphobia is just??? WHAT!?!? THIS IS BOTH A HORRIBLE THING TO SAY, LET ALONE AS YOUR DYING WORDS TO YOUR STUDENT, AND DOESN’T EVEN MAKE SENSE!?!? hhh like i do think that!! asuma loves his students if not he wouldn’t treat them to barbecue all the time but!!! for fuck’s sake i reallllly wish we got to see what he actively did to teach both ino and chouji before he died... at least. at least i think the manga’s self aware because when his edo tensei is brought back, no one brings up the second halves of what he told to both ino and chouji, and his new final words of “your inoshikachou formation is complete.” is WAY better...

jiraiya: hhhh?? like his whole death scene was great, it does make me sad with the build up of tsunade betting on his life since she never wins her bets, the way he’s fighting to the bitter end, him putting his pen down with “the tale of naruto uzumaki”, seeing both tsunade and naruto break down over the news of his death... BUT. yeah idk i wish he was a better person while he lived that would’ve been cool.

minato and kushina: well the impact of this one is lessened imo since well they were dead long before the series started their deaths was uhhh kinda what put the whole series in motion. it still is sad tho thinking about the AU where what their family could’ve been if they lived :( 

nagato: i do like the rain kids and all but the rinne rebirth shit was pretty dumb like it felt like kishi just wanted to backtrack on actually killing off some characters lol

konan: uhhhh honestly i don’t remember what happened in her fight against tobi at all sorry. i’m sure her death was sad tho

neji: neji’s not even anywhere near my list of top favorite characters and his death was an absolute shitshow. you know why but the whole angel thing for NH shit is awful, the way tenten isn’t allowed to mourn for him she just says “lee...” ??? (idc about the ship i just mean as being his teammate), the fact that he goes down so easily, THE UH. THE DISTURBING IMPLICATIONS OF HIS CHARACTER ARC AND HOW HE DIED TO PROTECT THE MAIN FAMILY UHHHH. er. now that’s what i call Yikes!!!!

shikaku: NOOO DILF YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE TOO SEXY TO DIE!! 😭😭💔 i’ve expressed before but i do think the whole “i grew up watching your back” thing is kinda weird since it makes it feel like shikaku wasn’t that actively in shikamaru’s life but. we know that’s a lie??? we know that he’s konoha’s best father and is also sexy as hell??? the whole “live and guide them yourself, shikamaru.” MAKES ME BAWLLLL AAAAAAAAAAA (i do think that the whole “make sure to hide that from your mother” thing is also kinda weird but whatever i don’t think it detracts from the impact of his death lol)  i hope you keep thotting it up in heaven king

alright then, mysterious stranger definitely not @half-dead-half-wit , you wanna know my fucking secrets??? you want what is probably a shitton more detail than you imagined??? here we fucking go:

first, you have to make your own posts. create a backlog of posts to post at regular intervals from the queue. if you have some ideas that are particularly funny, i’d suggest holding off on those until you’ve got some followers to reblog it if you want your genius to be properly appreciated, but no one is going to start submitting until they see the kind of content you’re looking for.

still, make it clear from the get-go that you’re accepting submissions. put it in the header and make sure the submissions box is open. i personally don’t accept submissions through the ask box, for several reasons which i’ll get into later, but you’ll want to queue those as well for days when you don’t have any ideas.

to get people to interact with the blog, you’ve got to have fairly consistent content, at least to start. when i’ve got my queue running, it posts three times between 4pm and midnight (one at 6pm, one at 8, one at 10). every single one is tagged with “danny phantom” so people can find in the tags. then people can find your blog, start reblogging, and then start submitting.

you will also probably have to ask for submissions at a few points. just make a “call for submissions post” and have the rules for submissions (whatever you decide) somewhere in the post and/or the submissions box itself. also letting people put the tags on themselves will make your life a billion times easier than going through and adding it manually for each submission lol

remember how i don’t accept from the ask box though? that’s for a few reasons. one is that it isn’t easy to queue from ask box on mobile and i’m primarily on mobile. the other big reason is that i can’t edit asks at all and i have Very Specific Formatting Requirements. i’m not going to post something that says “DP AU where Danny fights God.” without editing it to “danny phantom au where danny fights god“ because i have an Aesthetique. and i’m not saying that you have to have the same aesthetique! but having a style probably isn’t a bad idea and i maintain that my uniformity of posting and style makes it funnier.

lastly, you don’t have to post everything that is submitted. i’ve gotten some.... questionable submissions, and i don’t mean like “wow what a loser” but at least one that was like. kinda racist. and some more that just.,, weren’t aus at all?? just pairing suggestions??? and others that were like. Real Aus not whatever this blog is supposed to be and thus not all that funny because they were like. real cool ideas. and i don’t post those. and that’s fine. i curate this blog and that means i get to make those determinations. don’t feel bad about it when you have to do the same thing.

like it is wild the things people will just make up to “justify” their Dislike for will, which has only manifested as apparent Issues thanks to him playing jeremy rather than jared........there’s the classic “mm idk i don’t think he can sing that well” approach which like. some people are just trying to say they do not like the inherent descriptive qualities of his voice, which is more nasal obviously and don’t anyone come in here with the “Actually the Technical definition of Nasal re Vocals is” b/c we know what i mean, alright? nasal voices are not considered ~serious~ and there’s the kneejerk dumb-annoying-loser-nerd association. god knows that jeremy heere canNot have characteristics that could be automatically judged as irritating and unappealing. then there’s the notion that He doesn’t have the (vocal) range!! which like. do you honestly think they would cast someone who doesn’t have the correct range. you’re aware that will roland was being considered for the part of jeremy in the two river run up to the last round of callbacks. you know that the song that was literally written expressly to suit will roland’s individual voice and singing abilities makes use of his falsetto which people go “omg he can’t hit those high notes” except sometimes when they misattribute his falsetto to other singers they suddenly find it worth complimenting. and then you get people who like, want to subscribe to this softened version of it and get all backhanded like “oh i think will’s vocals are improving whew that’s good” in any random video and always Only single him out apparently like. did you think he gets worse with experience? you don’t wanna talk about any of these other professional singers improving or worsening or anything? only wanna give ur assessment of william’s huh

honestly i for real haven’t seen the 1.0 version b/c i’m here via will roland in the first place & i’ve never gotten the impression that there’s some Essential Content i’m missing out on by having only seen 2.0........but between a) people complaining that will r’s jeremy is Too Frustrated He Shouldn’t Be That Angry It Makes Him Less Sympathetic and b) saying just as a point of comparison betwixt the depictions that will r’s jeremy is more frustrated and c) i haven’t read That much bmc fic but people sure talk about jeremy being like five seconds away from bursting into tears at any given moment which like, okay yeah aren’t we all, but also i presume this stems from will c’s apparently Sadder portrayal of jeremy. i almost forgot where i was going with this one but i think it’s just that yeah people truly take issue with will r’s jeremy being more frustrated and it’s like you realize there’s no Right or Wrong portrayal / interpretation even if you prefer one for whatever reasons......theatre just is Like that.......you have a slightly different portrayal during ever performance even from the same actors, and you’ll often have different actors playing the role........yeah people usually are attached to the first performance they see / have that as their Standard and that’s fine, it’s just like, you don’t have to decide that’s an Objective view and that you have Objective issues with everyone else’s take. 1.0 is still there for you

it’s a bit clearer too with bmc moreso than deh that people aren’t super willing to accept how will roland Looks b/c like, thanks to will connolly’s jeremy having the long hair thing you can Tell The Difference In Which Actor Is Represented when ppl draw the character even if the rest of the features are kind of “generic” (and how even the costuming isn’t a dead giveaway since ppl will draw connolly jeremy in 2.0/3.0′s outfits) and it even serves to specify the actor in writing format too if they mention the hair lol........and honestly?? this fact is one of the most damning things lol in that people the reason so many ppl continue to produce connolly-based jeremys is Not because for whatever reason they can’t / it’s too difficult to draw a will roland lookin jeremy......like a lot of the time The trait which serves to distinguish between the two is the hair thing. people are adopting jeremy’s new costuming and stuff but choosing to make sure we know that jeremy does not Look like will roland and the clearest indicator of this is the longer hair thing......which also means that for many people the main effort they’d need to exert to make it clear they’re drawing wrol jeremy would just be to....shorten the hair. And Yet!!!! it is apparently beyond people to do this

like uh nice on making a lgw animatic but really.........really we’re gonna take the song that is specifically from the 2.0 / 3.0 runs, so it’s obvious we’re Accepting that non-1.0 content, okay......and we’re Accepting will roland’s vocals, which, a person’s voice is a physical trait of theirs too, same as The Existence Of Their Body........and yet jeremy Cannot Look Like How Will Roland Looks, that’s too far, can’t do that. we can take material from the specific versions the actor was cast in, that material being a song written specifically for this individual actor’s voice, in the form of this actor’s actual vocals......but can’t have the depicted image of jeremy be based on this actor’s appearance..............of all the......

really all that it is is that more people find will connolly more attractive than will roland and this makes them feel like will roland Is Worse and then the people who just run with that either just embrace that and are crashing around on public forums saying Lol i hate him cuz he’s ugly lmao....and then you have people who don’t wanna do that but don’t wanna actually examine why they ~take issue~ with will being cast and so they’ve gotta leap on any Other things about him that feel more acceptable / Objective like oh the portrayal is “Wrong” (that’s not how this works) or he can’t sing well enough (yeah he can) or high enough (yeah he can) or he was stunt cast (no he wasn’t) or they wanna label every characteristic / trait they can think up that Isn’t his physical appearance as Annoying And Bad like. maybe stop and ask why you find it SO pressing that this other actor has the part and it Must be objectively inferior if not ruinous for reasons you gotta invent about him being incompetent cuz it’s better to make stuff up about how a professional actor isn’t good enough for a part than to say you don’t think he’s cute enough and are bothered by that

it didn’t matter as much to people when they viewed his character as either Just A Joke or Just A Jerk or flat-out disposable material. being attractive is for serious sympathetic beloved characters, natch

unfortunately jeremy can’t be written off as The Unimportant Meme Friend With No Real Feelings so now there’s a whole problem if an actor is not as cute

like b/c of the way he looks ppl can accept that a character played by will roland can be funny or can be rude or can really not be too important to take seriously / consider complex or sympathetic or likeable beyond being a walking Running Joke, but when it comes to a sympathetic main character whose emotional state is so important it’s practically assigned a character and who’s a romantic lead? now people have a problem with him looking the way will roland does

Fandoms you write for: At the moment, primarily Star Wars (as well as some original stuff), but I’m trying to get back into some of my BSG fic. Apart from those two, my prior main fandoms that I did a lot of writing for were Supernatural, ATLA, and HP, but I’ve done bits and pieces for MCU, miscellaneous crossovers with other things, way back when I did some Dragonlance and LOTR and Wheel of Time...

Where you post: At the moment, mostly AO3 for fanfic stuff. And my writing tumblr.

Most popular one shot: Judging purely by hit count on the stuff that’s been crossposted to AO3 (since that’s easiest to track) - for Star Wars, either The Magic of Midwinter or To his family, send him. Which, incidentally, was the first thing I wrote when I came back to this fandom, lol. Uh. Sanctuary also did pretty well, I think. Most of my SPN fic never got that popular, but some of my ATLA one-shots got a fair number of hits, as well.

Most popular multi-chapter: Precipice, by a wide, wide, wide margin, lol. Uh. Leaving that one outlier aside, Distaff is the next most popular, followed by These Three Remain and then Asajj Ventress and Her Tiny Time-Travelling Conscience. For my non-SW stuff, The Promises of Angels did fairly well for a very long genfic about a tertiary character who (at the time I wrote it) had been dead for five seasons...

Favourite story you wrote: GDI. I hate this kind of question, lol. Uh. I’m still fairly proud of Promises, which I mentioned earlier--at the time, it was the longest contiguous story I’d ever written. Precipice has its ups and downs, but I still love it and have no intention of leaving that AU/timeline anytime soon. The Devoted turned out really well, I thought. Looking back at most of the stuff I have out there, there’s bits I would change, to make things more cohesive/coherent/whatever, but I like what I did with a lot of my stuff. ...also, my AU outlines are a blast, I really should update one of them/write another...

Story you were nervous to post: Lord. Uh. Mostly the more niche/self-indulgent things (or...things that I’m concerned will come across as self-indulgent*?) and/or unusual formats--so, crossposting Ventress to AO3; some of the Jedi of Valdemar bits; the portions of Precipice that deal with Lavinia. It’s Like Deja Vu (All Over Again), too. I was waffling about some of the way chapter 2 plays out. Oh, and Sanctuary, mostly because I don’t hang out in the ST corner of the fandom very much so writing Rey was a little weird for me, but I think it turned out okay?

*Because, while I’ve long since decided to stop feeling guilty/ashamed of such things, I like getting good responses when I share my work??? And I don’t like getting bad ones. So putting that kind of stuff up in a place where it’s intended to reach a wider audience can still be a little nervous-making, if that makes sense.

How do you choose your titles: Oh, all kinds of places. Words that sound cool/feel appropriate, various quotations...I think I did a list on some of my title sources at one point...aha, here it is!

Do you outline: Not..really, no, lol. Like, for Precipice, I sort of have a vague idea of the Major Plot Points that happen in most of the arcs, but I don’t really have it written down anywhere. I had a kind of outline for Heaven on Their Minds, I think; and when I’m working on a Big Bang project or something else with a Deadline, sometimes I’ll have placeholder chapter/scene titles in there? (Like, in The Devoted, there was The Heist(tm), and Obi-Wan and Padme Cannot Ethically Seduce Anakin, and Bail is In Trouble, and Dramatic Confession Scene(tm), etc., but nothing like a Formal Outline. ...come to think of it, I do that with Precipice, too. But not usually very far in advance, just when I’m actually sitting down to organize the next two-three chapters/scenes/plot point/whatever. Oh, I do have kind of an outline for Jedi of Valdemar, mostly because it’s an enormous timeline and I wanted to get the order/relative dating/ages straight. But that’s not super detailed.

Complete: Uhm. Well, in SW, mostly my oneshots. These Three Remain is complete. Deja Vu is technically complete, but I might do a sequel at some point? The Devoted, I have more stories to tell in that universe, though the individual fic itself is complete. The Phoenix I actually do plan to write sequels to, and have them vaguely planned out (The Hercinia will be sort of two parallel storylines, one on the planet and one with Luke and Vader; or possibly three, since the two of them will be mostly split up. The Caladrius will bring everything back together, probably, though I haven’t worked all the details out.)

In progress: Precipice, Distaff, Asajj Ventress and Her Tiny Time-Traveling Conscience; in addition to the probably-continued AU worlds mentioned above, Auxiliaries and Jedi of Valdemar universes (Auxiliaries, at the moment, has only been posted to tumblr, not AO3). Some unposted things, such as our faces like a mirror; a few things in other fandoms (Serenissima, for one; I’m considering rewriting For Sorrow Sung and/or actually getting my notes for The Other Battlestar into some kind of postable fic format, but we’ll see.)

Coming soon: Uh. Well, like I said, our faces like a mirror; I’ll do something for next year’s SWBB; more in various established AUs; probably another AU outline at some point...

i'm a 22enby fella who's got an itch for something fun and whump-y based off Dinner in America. i write in third person, present and/or past tense, semi to advanced 'lazy lit' over discord! i use servers to keep things organized, and i love chatting ooc with my writing partners :} i love obsessing over our characters, sending memes/tiktoks, sharing music, etc etc, and i'd love a partner who's the same way! i consider myself pretty active, but i do work most of the week- if i can't get a reply to you, i'll at least be active ooc. i can promise at least one reply per day (usually a lot more, but i don't wanna get anyone's hopes too high, bc again..work).

i'm looking to write some oc x oc stuff! mxm is preferred, but i'm open to potential mxf (i will be picky on this! i have a lot of mxf rps atm). polyamory is also super encouraged, but not required! and while i want to collaborate on a plot, dead dove themes are also preferred! i would also prefer to use *actor faceclaims for this! i think of it as **casting actors in our own movie, lolz. so, like a lot of people, i just watched Dinner in America, and i thought it was great. i'm DYINGGGG to write a character like simon (probably also w/ him as a FC, if not a similar look) against other male or masc characters (bonus points if they're also weird/outcasts like patty!). i'd love to plot something along the same lines as those in the movie, but with a few tweaks (i'm not an expert on punk stuff, lol) of our own.

- shigahawks childhood friends AU (i have like 4k words written so far? its more canon divergence than actual AU but im taking my time with it. whether its any good or not is anybody’s guess)

- the second half of supreme art of war...................................... camera pans into my face if i ever told you i had any idea what i was doing, it was all a fucking lie. Also the first half needs to be renovated/edited to be like... better. it feels a little unpolished and even at the time of writing that first chapter, i was perfectly aware how OOC the last part was but also i’m getting a little better at writing shigaraki because this man somehow sneaks his way into all my fics now... anyways...

- i started working on this pro heroes interact with Hawks story but idk if i’ll ever finish it lol. i think im like 4/9 pro-heroes done? there’s a +1 too (is this story format dead? who knows, ah whatever im still doing it)

- fuyumi fic thats getting finished at the pace of a snail. im putting a lot of care and effort into it, is all. probably will turn out boring but eh :) that’s the risk you gotta take when writing fanfiction

1. if you could reboot one TV show, which one would it be? Earth 2. But only if they could go back in time with the same cast at those ages. It was a brilliant concept that maybe just came ahead of its time.

3. have you ever quit a show before it finished? why? No. But I've wanted to. Once I start something I like to finish it.

5. what’s your comfort show? H20: Just Add Water. I seem to go back to it when I need something light and fun and that doesn't require a ton of thinking in order to enjoy it. I know it's an Australian teenage drama, but I absolutely adore it and the characters.

7. have you ever been inspired to start a new show based on gifs or memes it has produced? The Man From the High Castle and Westworld.

9. what’s one show you thought you’d hate but turned out to really enjoy? Family Guy. I usually don't care for shows with that kind of humor, but it has turned out to be a true gem and favorite of mine.

17. have you ever written fanfiction for a TV show? I started with CSI and The X-Files a long time ago (2004) and still write it today. So yeah. I've written fanfiction for a television show that I love. Several of them in fact. Fifteen years and still going strong.

18. have you ever drawn fanart for a show? I cannot draw to save my life. So the closest thing I've ever drawn for a show was stick figures for The Walking Dead for another ask meme. LOL.

19. are there any shows on your “to watch” list right now? Oh my heck! There are a ton of shows and movies that are on my list to watch at a later date. I even go through it sometimes and delete things that I've added in the past that I know I will never get around to watching. It drives my husband mad to see all the crap in there that never gets watched.

20. Netflix, Hulu, or Prime originals? I happen to like some of all of them, but my favorites just so happen to be Hulu ones. The Handmaid's Tale and Hollie Hobby!

21. if you could be a guest star on any show, which one would it be? The X-Files but that won't ever happen because I'm pretty sure that the show is likely done this time around. I hope anyway. LOL.

22. if you could write your own TV show, what would it be like? A complete disaster. It would be a feel-good show with characters that care more about others around them than anything else. So yeah! A complete disaster. I'll leave the writing to the professionals and stick to writing fanfiction because it's so much easier.

23. are you a fan of will-they-won’t-they plots? Yes, I am. Some of the best ships have come from just that scenario.

24. how do you feel about bottle episodes? I have a love/hate relationship with them. When I haven't seen a character or a couple of characters for a bit, they are fun to play catch up with them, but then I would rather every episode have a little of everyone than focus on one group or character solely.

25. do you prefer proper opening credits, or a simple title card? A simple title card is all that I need because I'm ready to watch the show. I know who stars in it. I don't need to see it every time.

27. which actor do you think deserves an Emmy for their work on TV? Melissa McBride and Andrew Lincoln from The Walking Dead.

There is a contestant on Survivor that says, "Oh my heck!" and I love that phrase now. LOL.

31. do you use subtitles while watching TV if you can? I will rewind a scene and turn them on if I'm confused about something that is being said, or I'm making a comic strip/photo or gif set where I need the exact quote.

32. what’s one show you could watch over and over? Earth 2, H20: Just Add Water, Mako Mermaids, etc. I could go on and on with some of my favorite feel-good shows.

33. would you be interested in trying a show in another language? I've tried to watch a new series on Netflix, but it just really takes me out of it when I have to read the words. I can't focus on the actions and scenery if I'm constantly having to read the dialogue.

34. what are your top 5 shows right now? The Walking Dead, Law & Order: SVU, Heartland, The Rookie, and 9-1-1.

38. do you prefer hour long episodes, or 30 minute? It really depends on the material. Sometimes thirty minutes is long enough to tell a complete story, but sometimes, you really need that full hour.

39. do you prefer 22 episode seasons, or 13? It really depends on the show and the story being told.

40. is there a show coming out soon that you’re really excited about? The sixth season of The 100. There is nothing new coming out that I'm that interested in.

41. if you could change 1 detail about any show, what would you change and why? I would change the way in which season four of The Walking Dead was executed so that it made better sense. I wouldn’t necessarily change the main plot points, but I would change how the story was told and would elaborate on whatever needed to be elaborated on so that it made more sense narratively speaking. I believe that certain things had to happen to get the payoff down the road, but the way in which it was written and executed was entirely bogus. Scott Gimple did not trust his audience at all. 

42. what’s the longest amount of time you’ve ever watched a show in one sitting? Five plus hours when binge watching ER with my Mom on the weekends.

43. what do you think is a good amount of seasons for a TV show? Six or Seven. But that depends on the show and material for the show. Some shows really can't be wrapped up in that time frame, but some that really should end on a good note. Justified is a wonderful show, but those in charge knew that it was time to let it go. But Supernatural doesn't seem to know that it should end already. The first five or six seasons were brilliant, but it got a little (or a lot) stupid after that.

44. if you could replace any actor on TV in playing their role, who would you like to play and why? I wouldn't want to replace anyone because I absolutely love and adore the people chosen to play their specific roles. I wouldn't want to mess with the chemistry of the cast for even one minute.

45. do you own any TV shows on DVD? I own several shows on DVD. Too many to list.

46. do you prefer to watch TV alone or with friends? Alone because if you watch with friends there is too much talking going on.

47. are there any shows you love but your friends aren’t interested in? Like almost everything. LOL. My tastes and theirs do not usually mesh. It's rare that we have overlapping interest in a show.

48. are there any shows your friends love but you aren’t interested in? Yes. Just about as many of my shows as their shows, honestly.

Well, most of them are really canon ships, but there is Carol & Daryl from The Walking Dead, Olivia Benson and Rafael Barba from SVU, Regina Mills and Robin of Locksley from Once Upon a Time, Mulder and Scully from The X-Files. i’m sorry but in order to keep my notifs clean  &  tidy,  i’ll be softblocking most personals if you follow me.  nothing against you guys,  it just ends up a bit messy if i don’t.

sam canonically brushes shoulders with if not actively participates in very triggering concepts,  &  my portrayal will be true to that.  this blog will be trigger heavy in that regard,  containing themes such as depression,  self harm,  disordered eating,  nightmares,  blood,  gore,  violence, death / dead bodies,  gruesome deaths / torture, disturbing themes such as blood drinking,  exorcisms,  possession,  rituals,  religious themes,  general horror,  etc,  as according to canon.  i will not go into unnecessary detail concerning these,  but i won’t be skimming over them either,  so please proceed with caution when you follow,  if you follow at all.

if any of these things disturbs you,  it’d be best that you didn’t,  though,  for your own peace of mind.  due to how prevalent this content will be,  it’s unlikely that things won’t fall through the cracks even though i will be trying to tag everything appropriately ( cw trigger // ).  however,  if one of these triggers stands out to you especially,  i am willing to make an extra effort in order to rp with you.  <3
