Robin: Secret gamer. He loves to unwind with video games after work; his favorite is Bioshock.
Alastor: Casual gamer when he has downtime, he especially enjoys Alice: Madness Returns.
Zack: If he's not at work or practicing his bass, he's gaming. He's a masochist who enjoys Dead by Daylight, and is a killer main.
Yuuri: GAMER GIRLY. She's a backend software engineer by trade (she and Zack have to pay the mortgage somehow, and being a reaper doesn't actually pay after all), and also enjoys games of all kinds. Fallout: New Vegas is her favorite. She also plays DBD with Zack a lot; they play suvivor together.

Eh, sorry for the weird question, but since it's October I'll ask! :3 There's this computer game called Dead by Daylight, which is like a survival hide-and-seek game. One character plays an assassin and the rest are survivors. Based on the characters, who do you think would play who? :3

BoaR ROs as DbD Characters:
-Chase Watson:
Main Survivor as Meg Thomas, as a Killer (switches up all the time) he tends to not bring it over himself to actually kill the Survivors.
Main Perks: Adrenaline, Sprint Burst, Balanced Landing, Any Means Necessary.
-Fuchsia King:
Switches between Survivor (Claudette Morel) and Killer (Pig), and is really good with both.
Main Perks: as Killer: ones that focus on destroying the progress of a gen and stop the survivors from finishing them, as Survivor: wasting the killers time.
-Droznik Juschka:
He would be a main Killer (Michael Meyers aka the Shape), like to lurk and stare and strike the Survivors down with one hit.
Main Perks: Play With Your Food, Call of Brine, Dark Devotion, Dragons Grip.
-Elrond Falkenflug:
Main Survivor (Jake Park), he just wants to look at the map in peace.
Main Perks: Bite the Bullet, Boil Over, Decisive Strike, Slippery Meat.
-Estelle Falkenflug:
Main Killer (The Huntress) because oh boy does she have a lot of rage that finally can find an outlet:
Main Perks: Agitation, Barbecue & Chili, Beast of Prey, Blood Warden.
-Marter:
They played that game nonstop and just want to have a fun time be it as Killer (Ghostface) or Suvivor (Feng Min).
Main Perks: everything that grants more blood points.

dead by daylight's sadako changes: aren't being reverted (which would be very unlikely but i had hope >w>) at the very least though, they made some buffs like making the stupid fucking cooldown atleast 1/3 shorter (15-10) and the already existant cooldowns from on projection (100-(70 in ptb-)45) which is over 50% shorter, ignoring that they haven't updated what they did to her addons from the ptb meaning iritape is purrbably still removed >w>) and made the survivor disable television cooldown (60-(90 in ptb-)70) actaully still slightly worse than currently >w> im not counting the ptb-current changelog changes to tapes as a buff becuase they double the ammount on hit but make it shatter, meaning its easier to get two stacks on [from one m1] but impossible to get more than two stacks without teleporting, But also it does mean the shielding aspect gets removed so you can immediately 3/4 (< i so so wish they changed this fucking 3/4s wtf still mapwide remove detection massively lower skill cieling whyyyy ;w;) which May be stronger than ptb or weaker idk >w> "Being hooked while carrying a tape will no longer inflict other Survivors with Condemned. The tape will still be destroyed." < i dislike this this is a nerf but if it shatters on-hit its only actually usable in like, grab or suvivor not mending scenarios which i still think is kinda a lame thing bcuz atleast conceptually that Was a cooler aspect of ptb sadako (also they didn't mention changing the ability to put tapes anywhere she'll be just as iridescent tape reliant as ptb and now fucking lmao)

Who the hell is this dumb anon? So apparently someone who works for the devs said there will be no survivor. First of all anon, the devs and people working for them can't be trusted. They lie. They said they would never do a clown, but they did. They said they won't be doing anymore licensed chapters, but look now they added Ash Williams and now ghostface. And the devs said "next chapter" on twitter which means this a full chapter. We're getting a survivor and map as well.

i wanna talk about these two games right here for a moment; dead by daylight and friday the 13th: the game. i just wanna talk about my experiences with the games and which one i prefer.
if you've played these two games, you'll know how similar yet different they are.
lets start with dead by daylight.
i remember buying this game a good year before it became free for ps plus members in august 2018. when i first played this game, i was LOVING IT. i loved it so much. i would spend five hours minimum just playing different matches back-to-back. i game share with one of my closest friends so i told her to download it and she loved it as well. we would call each other just to play. it was AMAZING. i played as both survivor and killer but i prefered survivor only because i find it more fun to do generators.
when it became free for everyone is when it became downhill for me. the servers werent as quick as they used to be. before it would barely take me a minute to find a game. now, it takes five minites to find one game and even then, it doesnt get played out properly because the killer always ends up leaving the game. the killers are also extremely op and its actually ridiculous. i played as the doctor recently and he seems to have been buffed becauseeeeeeee it was soooooooo easy to kill all four of the suvivors when they've only done one generator. they keep adding new killers, new survivors and new maps but the servers are horroble.
now for friday the 13th.
i bought this game not long after i bought dead by daylight because i saw miniminter (mm7 games) play it and i thought it was lit. when i bought it, i fell in LOVE WITH ITTTT! i went through a similar thing with this game where i would play it back-to-back for hours with my friends and some mates. i love the gameplay and the way how game chat works is elite; jason will only hear you when you're near him and you can only hear the other counselors when you're near them AND have a walkie talkie. there are a range of counselors to choose from and they all have unique stats which makes things interesting. this is the same for jason.
a couple of months - a year ago, i had a problem with the servers. i would be waiting for six minutes for a game just to he put in a lobby by myself and when i would want to play with friends or mates, i couldnt join them cos it'll make me stay on the main menu. this is happening for months and when it did, it was sucking the fun out for me. i ended up deleting the game but i installed it back recently so now it works (thank god).
the other MAIN issue i have is to do with how STRONG jason is. its ridiculous. once jason sees you, you're basically dead. there's no way to successfully escape him if he really wants to kill you. once he sees you, you're finished. it actually makes the game extremely boring because if you're seen at the beginning, you're basically finished and spectating the game for twenty or so minutes is just a drag. this lawsuit that they had also messed them over because they didnt have a chance to update the game. this games needs a serious update (buff jason, add a few more counselors, new ways to escape and new maps). this game had potential to be so much more but it never got the chance.
the game i like the MOST has to be friday the 13th. the reason why i say that is because despite the problems that it has, the gameplay is amazing and it IS a lot of fun. while they do have similar objectives, froday executes it a lot better than dead by daylight (despite the fact that jason is overpowered). i have more fun with that game that i do with dead by daylight. the more popular dbd got, the less fun it became, which is a shame since i was in love with that game once upon a time.
there are some things that i didnt touch but this is tumblr and so i didnt want to bore you to death 🤣

Dead by Daylight - a silly concept idea
a gaming mode in which the suvivors can kill the killer! you have to repair 5 generators in order to open the killer’s secret torture chamber with access to different kinds of weapons. but you gotta be careful down there as it basically acts like the basement with just one entry. as soon as you obtain the weapon you can start chasing the killer in a 1 on 1 and whoever gets more precise hits wins.
the killers are usually taller so it would probably take 4-5 hits to get them down but since there’s 4 suvs it’s only fair. I dunno I think it would be hilarious to see the tables turn and Leatherface running away from Meg and Nea with lil pocketknives - this idea came to me while I was watching my good friend @morethanafanstuff play DBD on Twitch. Dead by Daylight LORE STREAM
I felt like listing as much information we got from the stream today but I probably misunderstood sth or didn’t hear it so feel free to rewatch the stream on the official DBD Youtube or Twitch. Also probably tons of errors here since I had to make this quick.
SO LET’S GO:
- All animals in the realm are usually fabricated by the Entity, except Maurice, Kenneth’s horse. Due to Kenneths willingness to serve the Entity, he was allowed to bring Maurice with him and Maurice got corrupted and deformed.
- The Entity is willing to give Killers a bonus if they behave and perform willingly.
- The Entity is sth like an emotion-parasite or virus. It does not ONLY feed of hope but also on strong emotions in general. Rage, desperation and even affection are for example emotions the Entity feeds on.
- With that, it’s been also confirmed that Survivors in particular CAN be in a relationship since it creates emotions and is very beneficial for the Entity.
- The Entity does NOT monitor the matches. It has no clue what is going on during a hunt. (my hopes confirmed, gives my OC story more weight)
- The more power the Entity gains the more ways open for it to snatch possible future Survivors and Killers. With that it was also explained why Kate got into the realm, even with her very different backstory. She was simply at a place with a hole in existance which the Entity used to slip through. (my theory confirmed, gives my OC story much more wight)
- There is no information of a Survivor who managed to escape the realm.
- When a Survivor or Killer can't provide food for the Entity, they end in the void and just vanish. (my theory confirmed)
- Killers CAN naturally die in the realm. But it is very unlikely due to the Entity keeping them alive to serve it.
- The Entity can easily just force it’s will on Killers. I can also use torture be it physical or psychological to make them submit.
- A hook sacrifice feeds the Entity better than a Mori. A Mori is simply not as "nutricious” and is rather seen as a gift to the Killer. (my theory confirmed)
- Abductions by the Entiy can appear as very violant and scary.
- Vigo is persumably not a survivor (or alive) anymore, since he got mentioned as a survivor in past tense (with weight and meaning; he ded I bet). Benedict is still a survivor tho and still in the realm.
- The number of Trappers victims in the mine he killed is very high. Before the mine-kills, he’s been already killing and torturing people for his father.
- Alex' Toolbox is called Alex’ Toolbox because someone in the DBD Team called Alex always used the toolbox in the early state of the game.
- It is possible for killers to see each other once in a while. Some see each other as rivals, most are neutral, some have affinities. (Sadly) the Devs mentioned that they want to make certain relationships canon such as... *sighs* Sally and Philip... Because they like that idea... yay...
- There is no record of who the very first Killer was.
- The Entity elects a Killer in a different way any human would do. It doesn’t go by experience but it has a special sense for the potential to be killer in a person. (They described it as some sort of smell.) That is also the reason why it choose Rin over her father for being a Killer, since Rin, in her strong emotional state, could give the Entity more to feed on. (my theory confirmed)
- Philip was a candidate because he killed out of revenge. (Like one time, wow.)
- Lisa called for help and thus was willing enough to serve.
- The Entity can corrupt people in becoming Killers and prooving themselfes as Killers for it. It has done that with Sally and Rins father. As for Rins father, when Rin got chosen instead, he persumably snapped out of the Entites corruption and lived on in grief of what he has done. (I can hear @azarovsslayer celebrate in the distance)
- Sally was receptive to corruption due to her depression. And thus was a good candidate for being a Killer.
- Rin didn’t get a chance to Kill her father. Probably so that she will stay a Revengeful Spirit forever and can live out her rage on Survivors.
- Being mercyful towards Suvivors doesn’t lead to punishement right away, since it creates hope and thus more strong emotions the Entity can feed on. Killers can get rewarded for being mercyful.
- The Entity has emotions, goals and thoughts but those are incomprehensible for the human mind.
- The Entity is an organic being.
- Rins powers came not only from the Entity but also from her Legacy.
- The Entity will make an appereance outside of it’s usual appereance (like hooks etc.) at some point in the game.
- The woods around the campfire are a facade like some things in the realm.
- The fog you see after the exit gate significates barrier.
- The Entity’s realm follows a certain line tho it has no rules of time. (my theory confirmed, and unintentional rhyme)
- The basement is so important and powerful because it’s close to the core of the realm.
- Laurie’s timeline is probably the oldest out of all Survivor’s timelines.
- The Entity is ancient. (They made jokes about it being bff with Cthulhu.)
- Evan didn’t want to serve the Entity at first, since he was still loyal to his father. The Entity tortured him into submission. (my theory destroyed, sad face)
- Annas timeline begins around WW1. It is the oldest Killer timeline so far. Sallies comes very soon after that. All that will change with Chapter 11, where a new Killer will appear with his origins way back in time.
- The sky, stars and moon are only constructions of the Entity. There is no Day/Night shift.
- Killers from a future timeline can already be in the realm but are not seen before.
- There is a way to decipher the Entity’s language. This also counts with the writings on the summer event weapons. It is not easy to decipher but it’s possible.
- The whispers from the perk “Whispers” are in fact the Entity’s voice and whispers.
- Injuries the Killers have can come from either the power they were given, torture or corruption.
- It is possible for a Survivor to become a Killer. (I can hear @azarovsslayer screaming in the distance)
- There is no clue if Babies can be born and raised in the realm. EDIT: Later on Dave re-answered the questions with “Why not.” and stated that it would make a cool fanfiction idea.
- MegxTrapper? “I don’t think that’s a thing.” - Dave, with a strong hint of “NO”; 2018 (which I’m angry about, since they said the Entity also likes to feed of strong emotions such as love, so it should be possible even very unlikely) EDIT: Dave apologized later on for what he said.
- The Entity has no favourite Killers or Survivors.
- Survivor won’t get Killer outfits and vice versa.
- Entity MAY has worshippers in the real world. MAYBE. (Mat be like “Pls start a cult but non violent”, still wtf man?)
- The Entity can feed of emotions of non human beings too, such as animals or other creatures.
- Lore characters may appear as playable characters in the game at some day.
- A Survivor can learn to use Entity’s powers against it. Either like Vigo did or way beyond. (my theory confirmed, gives my OC story more weight)
- Once a Survivor is in the match, in the Entity’s eyes, they simply just fulfill organic functions.
- The golden toobox has lore. The question was, if it had lore and they laughed and simply said yes and didn’t talk about it cause they are ABSOLUTE SH-
- The age of Killers and Survivors will be an actual info in the BIO at some point in the game.
- There is no knowledge of the Entity being the only one of it’s kind. (I don’t think it is the only one)
- All Survivors are at least 21 years old.
- Kenneth is probably the person with the worst personality and characteristics so far.
Other than that I got taunted by Mat and even after shoving my art into the Devs continously and, ON TWITTER, successfully pushing the lore stream to happen it still wasn’t there, I’m sure I am pretty much blocked in that particular case, thank you very much.

Dead by Daylight Idea
Getting back into Dead by Daylight recently. I wish there was an offline mode where you can play with AI characters. Like, a campaign or story mode. If they can do it for the tutorials, it's not impossible.
For example, during the campaign, the unique perks to each character are locked to the teachable version of those perks and cannot be changed or upgraded, but the fourth slot that would be reserved for a general perk that can be changed and auto-upgraded and are shared among the Survivors/Killers for the player. You can still use items, add-ons, and offerings like normal. The AI characters (both Survivors and Killer), however, are essentially playing Adept (unique perks only; no items (unless found in the field), add-ons, or offerings) as if they were locked at Level 10, while the player would be like as if they were locked at Level 15. The player would be solely responsible for bringing their own items and add-ons and producing offerings, whether playing as a Survivor or Killer. The difficulty setting is fixed, getting gradually more challenging with each trial (via AI adaptive learning), in which the Survivors and Killers get wiser and stronger with experience.
The AI's behavior would be fairly straightforward. The AI Survivors will always try to make a beeline to the nearest generator (with AI Chapter Survivors making their way to the achievement generator(s)), totem, chest, and exit gate at their current location. They would also heal themselves first (using first-aid kits first, if they found one) before attempting to help anyone else nearest to them and they would always make their way to the nearest hooked Survivor. AI Killers will wander and patrol randomly, at least until they give chase and will persue relentlessly (including following blood trails and scratch marks). They would also check lockers at random and attempt to sabotage your attempts at any given chance, as well as immediately move towards sound notification locations (ex. falling pallets, rushed actions, rescue attempts, successful repairs, failed skill checks, exit gates active) and activating whatever perks they have at any given chance.
The general realm, Survivor, and Killer is also locked, based on lore. If playing as a Survivor, Dwight, Meg, Claudette, and Jake are the only characters who can be initially picked and will also be the ones filling up remaining slots at random (one of each character, no duplicates; the Chapter Survivors will always take up a slot if they're not picked); if playing as a Killer, The Trapper, The Wraith, and the Hillbilly are the only ones who can initially be picked (with The Cannibal only being available in the Coldwind Farm part as an alternative to The Hillbilly). Once all the main challenges are completed, the first chapter is unlocked, and then the next one, and so on. You get a special achivement for Survivors that I'd like to call "Like the Back of My Hand" by: Playing Adept loadout as the Chapter Survivor, completing the special generators in the respective chapter map, and exiting the trial (either by gate or hatch). For Killers, it's similar, called "Homefield Advantage": Playing Adept loadout as the Chapter Killer, sacrificing and/or killing all Survivors on any of their respective maps.
