honestly i would drop everything and spend all my money if dcst decided to recreate dcst's stone world with all the settings shown in the manga with the huts and the storage rooms and the laboratories and the pERSEUS and all their reinventions, even if those reinventions don't work. HOO that'd be the dream

Sad concept I wrote in the dcst discord server I’m in several months ago!

Manga spoilers under the cut (maybe I should start doing that for all my textposts)

Yuzuriha realizing that Senku and Taiju aren’t the same age as her anymore and being a bit conflicted and sad about how she missed out on a whole year of their lives when in the past they’d hardly been without each other since age 11...and then when she gets petrified on Treasure Island she freaks out and wonders how much more of their lives she’ll miss. What if she loses another year, or two, or ten? What if she wakes up and...they’re gone?

Afterwards she talks to Taiju and Senku about it and they spend some quality time together, which helps the anxiety a little, though they all admit to worrying about being separated for longer than they’d like.

Finally comes the second global petrification, and Yuzuriha is struggling to keep breathing until she gets turned to stone, thinking she has to survive to see her boys again. And while she knows that Senku has more resources up his sleeve now, while in stone she can’t help but wonder...it took a whole year to build the Perseus, how long will it take them to come back to San Francisco if the Perseus is gone?

When Taiju finally gets back to her, Senku’s not with him and he’s aged over another half year, and Yuzuriha can’t help it - she cries. As long as Why-man is still out there she could lose them both to the passage of time, unrelenting and eternal.
