So I've been doing some... Reflection lately (albeit far too late, I know), and there are some things I really need to say. Especially with the very real possibility that I'll never see all of you again.

This is to everyone I called my children. Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, Stephanie, Cass, Duke (even Barbara, for all the time you spent at the manor) - I'm sorry. I didn't treat you right, and I'm sorry. I need you all to know that you are, and always have been, good enough. Whatever you're doing, it's enough. I don't want you to change who you are for my rules - you're so much more important than them, and I'll care about you no matter what. I was never particularly good at showing that, I know.

I just wanted you all to be safe. But not at the cost of your happiness. And I know that our canons are messy and tangled at best, but one thing I see again and again is that I... Wasn't the father you all deserved. And that I hurt you.

Now, I'm trying to be better, but I can't go back. All I can say, I suppose, is that if any of you need me - I'll always be here. I care about you all so much, and nothing could change that. I check this blog a lot, so if you have something to say - I'll see it. But either way, I need you all to know that you are capable of overcoming anything this world throws at you, because you are enough, just as you are.

Man, I can’t believe I used to be an eco…activist, and a particularly effective one, if you catch my drift, and now I have to sit here writing letters to my congresspeople to beg them to stop our clown-ass president from selling off the national parks to the highest oil-drilling bidder. It really sucks that humans time and time again will prove that they can’t respect the earth’s natural splendor without getting fucking greedy. If I could still make my serum I would become Poison Ivy again in a second, no questions asked.
