That man was up on stage, performing, lights shining in his face...even it this happened in the front row I'm not convinced he would've been able to see it. He doesn't have a 6th sense for people touching waists

ok storytime:

when I went to the DC droncert I was at barricade and was right in front of a very young girl who had pushed herself closer to the stage and ended up getting bumped to the ground and hurt herself.

Dream ended up pausing his performance briefly because me and the friends I had gone with had gotten Bink's attention because the girl hadn't gotten back up yet and we were concerned. Bink was right next to us and we practically had to scream to get his attention because it was so loud. There was absolutely NO WAY dream would have seen what was happening otherwise and we were AT THE BARRICADE.

Dream is in his own little world up there and had an earpiece in and was worrying about moving around on stage, not watching for weirdos in the crowd- and to expect that of him is insanely unrealistic

some little tidbits cause i want to share my thought process and things behind the drawing

-dream as cdream wearing his hair slicked back i think would be fucking awesome so i drew it and also thank you dc droncert for giving us this hair he looks so good in it. anyway

-of course theyre wearing the damn chains ahahaha. unironically i think thats the best way to "separate" ccdnf and cdnf in a sense FOR ME and i could go into it but the act of rping characters that you cant easily separate from yourself in relation to dsmp is another essay for another time

-this is similar to what dream is wearing, purple because its meant to be a substitute to netherite armor

-i couldve had george wearing a supreme shirt but none of the shirts he has are blue to substitute for cgnf cosplay and i thought the concept of him just taping a piece of paper onto himself and calling it cosplay while dream goes all out is funny. hat is inspired by the one he WORE i still cant believe it T_T cgnfie...

-the drask. george is a freak about the drask we all know that

-idk why drawing in side profile was so hard but it was SO HARD today especially for dream. i rlly need to do more STUDIES MAN.

-i chose cyber sex by doja cat as a caption because well first of all dnf creating the server actually DID break the internet in so many ways, but also because well they are freaks. one of my favorite "cdnf" fics ever is stage left i think the author got them down and what they would be like trying to rp their characters in a sex setting. so this is a subtle reference to that cyber sex is lowk a dnf song

oh also i can confirm that the venus person is parasocial as fuck. during the dc droncert she was CONSTANTLY trying to yell and get dreams attention, during someones recording of the dc droncert they were close enough to her that you can hear her constantly in the recording

yeah idk why people are giving her attention she's clearly just a parasocial weirdo that Dream gave an inch to, by allowing her to DM him, and she took a MILE by acting like they were besties now
