I know it has been 3 years since Detroit Become Human came out but I had nothing to do and I really felt like translating some moments of my favorite Let's Play of the game (the Let's Play is from a french youtuber called Bob Lennon).

A bit more context: In his run Bob played a mostly machine Connor (he did some chooses that are considered deviant by the game, like helping Hank on the roof top instead of chasing after the android but Bob didn't see it has deviance, just something a well programmed android should do: the life of a human comes first, an android can't leave a human in danger without assistance).

One of the gimmick he had was having Connor often says something like:

Probabilities of deactivating the deviant unit by shooting it in the positronic unit: 98%

Probabilities of survival of the human hostage: 19%

PARAMETERS: ACCEPTABLE

So at the end of the game after being replaced by a new model, and after he had done some actions considered deviant (like killing humans who were in its way), Connor instead of thinking becoming a deviant is acceptable, he accepts it.

English is not my first language so my translation may be to literal. If you think you've got a better translation don't hesitate to share it !

How far would you go to save the one you love?

I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of collaborating with the amazing, talented, insane @nothinggathers for the DBH Reverse Big Bang 2024 @dbh-bb. This is a project that's been marinating in my head for a while featuring an initially machine!Connor leaping through different universes to try and save Hank, and deviating over the course of his journey as he grows more desperate to save him, develops a sense of connection with his own people and identity, and — of course — falls in love. It's been months of blood, sweat, tears, and lots of screaming, and there will be several more of the same, because this monster of a collab is reaching well over 150k words (Atro, I love you).
