The role of Karl Lagerfeld involved wearing extravagant costumes, including red shoes with panache (editor's note). How did you manage to look natural?
"I had to look at myself in the mirror, even with those red shoes. I had meltdowns when I first tried them on. I looked at myself and said to myself with amusement, “Well, I can't wear you. I don't believe it's me.” But I love it. That feeling of possible failure. I fight with myself. I am forty years old. Yes, I'm having a mid-life crisis (laughs). I'm too old to play it safe all the time. I could probably afford it in my youth, being afraid of criticism and prejudice. And now I'm like, "Screw it." When things don't work out, life goes on. I have my family, donkeys and sheep on the farm and it's just boring to be in the passenger seat all the time. So I found my way to those red shoes."

Trunks & Bura
The age gap between them (14 years) and their big friggin' house means that it is very easy for them to avoid each other. The emotional intimacy (and general knowledge of the other) must start and end at a sort of lukewarm tenderness at how Trunks was the one who had initially taught Bura how to play Mario Kart.
Trunks in his later years is a chill and cool dude. He's not an egotistical asshole. Furthermore he sort of sucks. There's nothing he's particularly good at. The only niche he has is that haircut that he has had his whole life. So his general impression in the household is that he's relatively mild-mannered and sensible; he is mature, he has responsibilities; he is just a normal dude, he doesn't stone his feelings, but his feelings don't often deviate from just the general want to chill and relax and hang out. In the household, he's the one with the lowest, calmest energy.
Bura is a firecracker. More than that, she is controlled. She is competent and she wins hard. Trunks watches her grow up and obviously sees all the petulant moods she's been through and all the mistakes she's made, but even he can see that her competence grows at a rapid rate and never seems to plateau. She is perfectly self-possessed. She wears bright red. She is a fashionista. She knows what she wants and she gets it. Even though she is so much younger than Trunks, her presence in the household is larger, louder, and more impactful (she even got their father to shave his mustache with only one rude comment!)
Trunks is older. He has had to babysit her a lot over her kid years. They live in a culture and house that respects power dynamics; the children answer to their parents, and Bura must respect Trunks as her elder. She does so, meaning that sometimes she will follow whatever rules he lies down. The tricky thing is that they are also of a house of rule-breaking free-spirits. Trunks seems to have chosen rule-following and subservience (you seen him in DBS and up?) in order to keep the peace in the familial dynamic; Bura chooses to follow her more direct and assertive nature. Since she is the youngest, this is noticeable.
There is an interesting (and predictable) display of both respect and disobedience in Bura. As a child, she follows the rules the way that children do; and she is also selfish and capricious the way that children are. In her pubescent years, she is more daring, bold, and self-assured as teenagers tend to be; but she is also wiser for age and possesses a greater capacity for empathy, as well as a loyalty for compassion. The older she gets, the more this levels out into a sturdy and accomplished way of being (self-respect and a respect for others), rather than being categorized by the reckless fire of emotional youth.
The hints of her competent soul are present the whole time. Not in the way that she says snotty things to Trunks, not in the way that she asserts her fashion statements, certainly not in the hissy fits she throws - but in the way that she can quietly work on a project for days at a time, in the way that Trunks can just sense where her territory is and he avoids it, in the way that she never asks for emotional truths because she either knows her limits or because she can just read it in your eyes.
She does respect the power hierarchy on principle, and she doesn't feel burned by it, despite being technically at the bottom. She is loyal to her house and she thrives within it. For comparison, Goku never respects social structures that artificially elevate one person as being more valuable than another; and Vegeta lived under some boots in his time and he always resented it, because it was specifically going against his soul. But Bura loves her family, feels supported by them, and she understands that one day she will rise to the top of a power hierarchy, so she does respect it. By the time she is an adult, she doesn't think that anyone should be considered "better" than others (though when she's younger, yeah, she definitely thinks that she is better than some other people in her house or beyond because her intelligence and fashion kicks ass so severely.) And she spends most of her early life doing what she wants and making a point of it. But she's not sneaking around and breaking rules (e.g. Trunks) as much as she is confronting rules upfront and purposefully forsaking them. She demands their audience and then tears them asunder. But she does respect and subscribe to the idea of a power hierarchy that she was born into. So she forsakes Trunks as younger siblings tend to do - but where it matters, and when it counts, she does defer to him. She follows his rules when he is in charge and she respects the unspoken boundaries of his person. She does tear into his fashion sense. But if he were to appear genuinely hurt, she would cease.
She respects this idea of a power hierarchy, but she never forces that on others, and she can see where it fails to be efficient. What she grows up to be is a leader who earns her place, and she makes sure to continue being a person whom people listen to naturally, because she doesn't think that she can just demand a following. She doesn't think that it would work, and she doesn't think that she has the right. But if she is just herself, then a high position will entail; she is competent, she is intelligent, she is passionate, she is loud, she is assertive, and she is considerate.
Trunks, as the older sibling, must feel secure in his authority. Bura puts up convincing and fierce fights, but in the end he is still her elder. But Trunks has a mild insecurity within his soul, and that weakness responds to the ultimate confidence of Bura; and as she ages, he begins to feel smaller in comparison. He is still mostly a self-assured person, but he knows deep down that she is just better than him. And he can also tell that when she respects him, it is not because she is weak to authority. It is because she chooses to listen. Unlike Trunks who grew up to fear and follow the rules of his irascible parents, Bura follows rules because she has decided to attribute value to them. She is behaving out of self-respect, not self-defense.
In their later years (think GT and beyond), This subtle usurpation may trigger some resentment in Trunks. But also, he is her elder, and he loves himself fine, and he loves her, so how could he resent her? But it persists. They don't often connect in ways other than professional or diplomatic.
Overall, though, Trunks's life is building up in tension. The pressure mounts until he finally finds a direction and finds relief: he reorients himself toward the martial arts and ultimately pursues the sword. Once he finds himself, he is able to let go of some of that resentment that he holds for others.
Bura takes over Capsule Corp as the now-youngest president.
Once Bura is fully grown, and she and Trunks both find themselves in a profession that suits them well, they are able to connect better as equals. Their relationship has always been more emotionally restrained, but it never felt like a painful vacancy; but now, they realize that there had been a rigidity in their professionalism before, and that it is freeing to feel it pass.
Trunks sees the emotional depth that Bura has earned in her time. She is truly kind and compassionate, and he perhaps missed it before because he had never read a vulnerability in her. But she is able to be sensitive unabashedly, with a tall spine, and it never feels like a startling vulnerability because she is like this always and without blushing. She has always been self-possessed and authentic. She has never been afraid to put her heart on the line. This is a source of her strength. She is assertive, she is tough, she is callous, she wastes no time - and she really does have your best interest at heart, and it is at no expense to her. As adults, she feels it appropriate to command Trunks to expunge the crippling insecurity from his soul. She had always observed it, but she was self-aware enough to know that his path did not need the advice from someone not yet mature.
Trunks is able to come into an inner peace and security, and she is very glad to see it.
He knows that he hasn't been able to do much for her in a very long time. She pretty much stopped needing him after she learned how to play Mario Kart. When she took over as President, she called him sometimes to ask for clarification on what's-what and who's-who, but that phase didn't last long. And she knows that he is practically unneeded in her life too. But she doesn't fault him for this at all. But she isn't stone-cold. And she knows what is good for her soul. So she does occasionally make time out of her busy schedule to get lunch with him.
During their biannual meet-ups, Bura absolutely tells him everything that is wrong with him. From fashion to life philosophy. She drills deep with one strike. Just straight to the center. Like a proper Saiyan. Like a proper swordsmith, really, but she has no interest in that, but she does appreciate his comparison. And she really does care about him. She only says mean things that are true. She holds no animosity. Her intentions are only to communicate and deliver, not to hurt. And she does with with all conversation subjects. And frankly he loves this. He spends a lot of time with Goten and Goten's girlfriend Palace these days. And they can be so fucking weird and airy and whimsical. Trunks really appreciates the intelligent and articulate Bura. Like FINALLY. Some fucking dialogue that MEANS SOMETHING. He never felt so seen frankly. And he'll say what's on his mind too, and she damn respects his virtue as a person, and she respects him enough to put his arguments to the test of her own counterclaims.
At the end of the day they love each other deeply and are loyal to the other, just never at the expense of themselves (within kindness). They are two different animals with different natures, but pulled into the same circus, made to wear the same costumes, corralled and whipped by the same two ringleaders - and they have a mutual understanding of the other's joy and misery therein. They both understand, in a dry way, now that it's all said and done - the dynamic they lived, the dances they danced - that they have nothing against the other, have never had, but circumstances of the circus made them bicker or battle or defer. And they both understand, on a primal and cosmic level, that when justice is served, and the universe breaks into itself: that they are to operate in accordance to their own natures and with no further loyalty to the other. But they respect each other's natures, and want the other to have their perfect freedom.
Physical interactions are rare and stand only to communicate a presupposed dynamic (as kids, Trunks would stand protectively with her, and she would stand second to him, even though there was a point where her fortitude surpassed him; as adults, they may have to pose at a gala, and his hand on the small of her back denotes the familial hierarchy that they have always respected, but need not operate in in a practical manner any longer). Verbal affection is minimal, direct, and non-poetic. But they love each other. And more, they could do away with the other - because they respect their differences and believe in nothing but freedom.

RWBY: DarkSaiyanGoku's Multiverse Meet-Up
Ruby stared wide-eyed, nearly dropping her scythe, as she witnessed the chaos in front of her and Roman Torchwick. From all corners of the street, she could see several girls that all looked like her. One was wearing combat gear that looked just like hers, only with a red corset and red fingerless gloves. Another had a black jacket with a red hoodie, skirt and black combat boots, alongside a third with sleek red and black armour. The next two looked like opposites; one was decked out in a black catauit with two red pistols by her side and another was wearing a white suit, red cape and boots, with a rose emblem at the center of her chest. The final one looked the most normal, wearing a school uniform.
Roman: *blinks* You're seeing this too, right Red?
Ruby: *nods*
Roman: Good to know. Well.... *runs away*
AoR!Ruby: Oh no you don't! *grabs her pistol and shoots Torchwick*
Ruby: *screams*
AoR!Ruby: Easy there, all I did was stun him. He's not dead.
Ruby: That's not what I'm screaming about! Who are you people?!
VXV!Ruby: Oh right, we didn't introduce ourselves! *nervous chuckle*
CoJ!Ruby: It's all a pretty simple explanation. It'll all make sense
DoR!Ruby: Well... mostly.
After a long explanation, Ruby was able to understand what was going on.
Ruby: So... you're all me from other universes.
VXV!Ruby: *nods* Yep! Each universe different from the last!
DB!Ruby: Well, not mine. See, mine's a twin universe of this Ruby's.
Ruby: ...that sounds like a headache.
DB!Ruby/DoR!Ruby: *deep breath* You have no idea.
Ruby: So, now that I know that you're from other universes, I gotta ask.... *smiles* what kind of weapons do you all have??
VXV!Ruby: Check this out! *takes out her scythe*
Ruby: Awesome!!! It looks just like mine!
VXV!Ruby: No way really? *beams* Is yours a gun too?
Ruby: *nods* Uh huh!
VXV!Ruby: *smiles* And is it called Crescent Rose too?
Ruby: YES!!!
VXV!Ruby: AWESOME!!!!
DoR!Ruby: That scythe is impressive, but check this out. *summons a silver longsword and plunges it into the ground* And these. *spins around her pistols, one green and one gold*
DB!Ruby: Well, I have this! *takes out her scythe that transforms into a sword*
DoR!Ruby: Wait, how does yours do that?
DB!Ruby: Rose family secret. *grins*
AoR!Ruby: I have a full arsenal right here. Grapple wrist bracers, stun pistols and specialised escrima sticks which *connects them together* can turn into a badass staff!
Ruby: *eyes wide and mouth gaping*
CoJ!Ruby: I don't really have a weapon. Instead I just, *floats and hovers above the ground*
All the Rubies: YOU CAN FLY?!
CoJ!Ruby: *nervous laugh* It's not that big of a deal?
Ruby: That is so cool!!!!! *bounces up and down*
SoF!Ruby: Well, I don't know if he counts as a weapon, but.... *ahem* Archer, you can show yourself now.
Next to one of the alternate Rubies appeared a young, white-haired man wearing a bright yellow trench coat. He had a stoic expression and folded his arms.
Archer: Master Ruby.
SoF!Ruby: Everyone, this is Archer. He's a warrior spirit summoned from the Holy Grail.
Ruby: Woah!!!! He looks like badass!!!!
DoR!Ruby: Oh my~ He cleans up nice.
AoR!Ruby: I'll say. *purrs*
DB!Ruby: I'll... pretend I didn't hear that.
SoF!Ruby: So now that we've all gotten to know each other, what do you we do now?
Ruby: Hmmm.... do you like cookies?
All the Rubies: COOKIES??? *smile and drool*
Ruby: This is the best day ever!! *smiles*

DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO!✨
I FREAK'N LOVE THIS!!!
Pan is so adorable!!!!! 🍞💕
She is so cute! 🤗 And look at her facial expression. Reminds me of her mother and how Pan was in EoZ. Also her hair looks to resemble EoZ Videl's hair. Copying her mother perhaps?
I love this updated police uniform for my boy, Krillin!!! 🔥🌰🔥
It looks amazing! The jacket, the pants, the boots...! Toriyama swapped the colours of his old police uniform and I absolutely love it! Krillin also has white eyes like how he does in the manga!
Toriyama sure does love green and purple. Piccolo (green guy wearing purple clothes), Krillin (purple and green police uniform), Cheelai (green gal wearing purple clothes), Broly (green and purple clothing). Will Great Saiyaman be given purple tights instead of black so that he can have green & purple colours? (I kinda hope so)
I'm just excited to see what we get with Krillin in the future 😄😁
Toriyama really seems to like Krillin as a police officer. He saves ppl even when the world is not threatened to be destroyed. I'm hoping he has some good screentime.
Piccolo has his manga colors!! Yes! 🐌🎨
(I was wondering if he will have 4 fingers instead of 5 like in the manga, but he has 5 fingers still.)
Small changes that I didnt notice right away because I prefer his manga colours anyways. The red obi matches well with the red wrists he has. It's cool to see Piccolo get a visual change even if it is minute. Its as if anime Piccolo decided to change his outfit for the first time.
Piccolo has a house?! 🏡
I'm loving this so much! He has a Namekian house, lives in an area with plenty of flowing water in the mountains and isolated from everyone, and he even has a mail box! Can't wait to see what's inside. Will it be cool or comically empty? Lol.
What I'm loving about this bit of info we have is this... We are getting world building & further exploring the cast we love! Pan, Krillin, & Piccolo are getting some sort of development. We get to see their lives more! That is so great to see, y'all.
I feel that Toriyama is really trying to please fans of these other characters in a way. He keeps including them in battles and stories while the DB fandom that doesn't care about them says "retire them & get rid of them." Toriyama says "No!" & wants to keep having fun with these characters!
I'm interested in seeing the outfits other characters are in too. Everyone will go crazy over Goten & Trunks. I can't wait to see them grown up & what they will be doing! If we get EoZ Chi-Chi... that Chi-Chi is super beautiful! 😍 I wonder what design Videl will have 🤔 (EoZ Videl's design is one of my fav of hers. I like them legs...👀) And also what does Krillin's family look like. Will 18 have her Z hair? EoZ hair? GT hair styles? And Marron... I need to know if she will have a nose or not lol 😂😅. I prefer noseless so fingers crossed! 🤞
But also wanna know what Marron looks like so I can draw her with Tobi lol. Then, I will finally start writing my Tobi comic!
I'm all for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero!
And the title... Many ppl don't like it but I do. Gohan was temporarily a superhero, Krillin is a super-cop, there's a new character(s) that may or may not be a superhero, & young Pan who looks up to her family.
I wonder if the movie will follow Pan as she sees the different heroes in her life and how they help the world. 🤔
I expect this movie to be heartwarming and motivation for young ones and older fans. And of course some action is to be seen.
I'm glad Toriyama has been enjoying himself with these movies. And it is said he is doing a lot with this movie (the dialogue and art and ideas). He is very much involved in this. And this is why I doubt Toriyama is involved in the DBS manga much. He just corrects art here and there and gives it a pass. He enjoys working with the anime staff the most it seems. He's more focused on this and letting Toyotaro do his thing. But this bit on info about the 2022 movie has gotten me hype for DBS! The manga may suck at the moment, but at least we're soon getting this awesome movie that Toriyama is invested in!
Some ppl are just upset because they haven't seen Vegeta or Goku yet. Who cares?! They were all over the last movie and they'll definetly be in this one. Toei is showing off other characters and new things. Those 2 are in everything already. Some of y'all are acting like brats.
Ppl worry about the 3D stuff in this movie. It doesn't bother me. If it looks like FighterZ, or the cutscenes for DBZ: Kakarot, or 2D drawn on 3D, I don't care. It looks promising so far & I'm looking forward to it! 👍
This really brightened up my day. Its simple but it was good news. This gave me motivation I needed after the manga and other stuff has been killing my motivation.

PART TWO: Prologue // the Fine Print (630-ish words + CC credits under cut)
Beginning // Previous // Blurb // Next
DB -60 “Corax isn’t going to break. He’s practically made up of pure ACorp tech.”
Unfortunately, the fuckers up in ACorp were brilliant and paranoid. So many protocols and redundancies in place that it was a bureaucrat’s wet dream. Everything was proprietary tech, and everything was encrypted, but there was so much data being transmitted between host and client. There had to be a weak spot somewhere.
She picked through the takeout containers collecting on her desk. Her screens continued to track Corax as he left the fighting pits— cycling from drone feed to drone feed.
“Please tell me you’re not eating,” Mal said. He was still typing on the other end of the line, his keystrokes a steady rhythm that she’d learned to tune out.
“Relax. I still have the helmet on,” she scooped an errant noodle into her mouth. She’d cobbled together the VR helmet using salvaged tech and specs from an earlier prototype that Mal had ‘found’ in a seedier corner of the Grid.
“If you go under, that food is gonna come right back up,” he said. She just rolled her eyes.
Onscreen, the debauchery of Launch Day swirled around Corax, and they lost him briefly in the crowd. The screens cycled rapidly as her programs triangulated his location. Finally, an errant Syntro security droid registered him talking to leggy woman with white hair. Mal stopped typing, and she sat up nearly spilling noodles on herself.
“Syntro, identify that woman,” she commanded. “Identifying.” Corax moved closer to the woman, who smiled beguilingly. “Do you think—“ Mal asked.
“Clients never read the fine print,” she breathed. If this Client aka Dipshit, violated Corax’s terms of use, then he’d get booted out of the body. The TOU was simple but strangely specific. No sex, no psychedelics, no killing in cold blood.
If Mal was good (and he was really, really good) he could take that split nanosecond of unoccupied Host to splice her in.
Syntro chimed. “Real name: Unknown. Alias: Trinh. Affiliation: Dantai.” “Damn. She’s just a drug peddler” Mal swore softly. On the feed, Trinh held up a packet for Corax’s perusal. It glowed green. Corax accepted it, peeled off the backing and slapped the transdermal patch on the back of his neck. Not enough of TOU violation except—
“Mal, look at the location,” she said urgently, noticing the surroundings for the first time. Red and pink neon signs bleeding from huge storefront windows could only mean one thing. La Rue Roux, one of the classier thoroughfares of the Brothel District. La Rue Roux or the Roo for short, made use of long abandoned storefronts where pleasure workers could showcase their wares for a fee.
Corax meandered, staring up at the windows like they were works of art. She didn’t blame him— some pleasure synths were exquisite things, designed to override rational thought and appeal to good old-fashioned lust.
“Be ready,” Mal’s voice broke through her reverie.
Corax had paused at a window, staring at lavender haired Synth wearing a sheer dress.
Heart pounding, she stepped into a sleeping pod. It was no luxury VR suite— but it had been hardwired to take the brunt of the Tenancy data. She stepped in as Mal typed furiously, constructing code that she could ride right into Corax’s body.
Syntro pulled up the feed on her visor just in time to see Corax stumble as he tried to walk into the pleasure house. She adjusted the helmet and lay down, letting the pod seal her in.
“Goddess speed Sam,” Mal said. He didn’t mention the food she would inevitably throw up afterwards. She watched Corax try to take another step, but his tech had locked up. He slowly crumpled to the ground. There was a chime, and the VR helmet pulled her into the waiting dark.
Thanks for your patience. And again so grateful for all the CC creators out there (there has been a wealth of Cyberpunk CC that’s come out this past month).

ITW - I'll be coloring this cinnamon roll soon. Trunks Briefs by me. <3
This drawing is inspired by a scene in my DB fanfic that I'm currently writing:
EXCERPT:
Trunks’ feet hit the ground in the front yard of his parent’s CC dome house. His eyes were cast down in thought as he made his way to the entrance.
“What the hell are you wearing, boy?”
Vegeta’s gruff voice made him look up. “Oh, hey dad.”
Trunks was wearing black jeans tucked into red steel-toe boots with silver skull buckles, a black tee with white, lettering on it, a red CC jacket, headphones around his neck and a backpack slung over his shoulder. The lettering on his tee read, ‘Alien Sex Fiend’ in a dripping font style.
Vegeta was burning a hole in Trunks’ shirt with his intense black eyes.
Trunks chuckled. “It’s a band, dad.”
“A what?”
“A musical artist. It’s their band name.”
“Well it looks like you’re making a statement about yourself.” The older Saiyan huffed.
Trunks just shook his head. “More like a statement about you.”
“What did you say?” Vegeta was livid! What was the kid getting at?
“He’s not wrong, you know..” Bulma’s singsongy voice rang out as she passed behind Vegeta and ran her fingers slowly across her husband’s shoulders.
Vegeta turned beet red. “Woman!” He growled.
Trunks just laughed and followed after his mother, ignoring his flustered father’s glare.
“So, what do we owe the pleasure of your presence, Trunks?” She smiled at the teen as he followed her into the kitchen.
Vegeta grumbled and left them to their idle chatter. He wasn’t in the mood to put up with the smart ass kid and his smart ass mother.

The 30 LDB questionnaire
So there was that 30 LDB questions ask meme floating around, and I decided to answer them all for the sake of character building and reference for myself skjfhksdjhf
Questionnaire below!
1. What is their background and backstory?
Signe was born in a small home in the Rift on the 9th of Evening Star, 4E 173, to Ragnar and Freyja, two Nords who abandoned their lives to be with each other and start a family. Ragnar (aka ‘Ragnar the Berserkir’) was an infamous mercenary in Skyrim, who would be hired through out the land and even some places beyond for his battle prowness and seemingly inability to fucking die. Freyja was an assassin for the Dark Brotherhood, an archer/mage type who was going to be chosen as the next Listener until she dropped all connections after meeting Ragnar.
She was raised a warrior and avid hunter by her father, and a novice mage and singer by her mother. Unfortunately, at the age of 6, a fire engulfed her home one night after sneaking out to climb trees. It killed both her parents and left a nasty scar on her face after some debris sliced it while trying to free the two. Signe was taken to Honorhall, where she was bullied most of the time by other kids and of course Grelod, some accusing her of starting the fire - even though she swears it was a dragon that had started it. They say grief can make a child believe many things.
At age 17, with only a few more months to go before getting kicked out of the orphanage, she encounters Brynjolf. He’s a few years older than her, and is on his own mission to prove that he’s a valuable asset to the Guild at such an age. She assists him in his little heist, and runs away to join the Guild.
At age 28, after a small mistake during a heist near the border to Cyrodiil, she attempts to cross the border to escape being caught. Of course this doesn’t work, and thus brings us to the events of the game!
2. What “class” do they follow (i.e. warrior, archer, mage, thief, etc.)?
She’s a warrior, archer, and thief!
3. How do they feel about being Dragonborn- does the identity feel right for them and did they embrace it immediately? Do they consider themselves a true dragon?
At first, Signe took to it slowly, still rattled from the suddenness of it all. First Helgen, then needing to tell the Jarl, then fighting a dragon and absorbing its soul, then being yelled at by four old men at the top of a mountain, and being thrown into quests here and there for so many reasons. She takes to it easily and enjoys the bouts of praise here and there during the events of Dawnguard, but it’s not until after defeating Alduin that she realized how much of a toll it takes on her mentally. While the authority is nice, she’s still too humble to go about bragging about it to those who don’t know her off the bat. She wished she could have earned her reputation like her father, rather than becoming a legend overnight.
4. At present, how are they perceived by the people of Skyrim? By the general population, and by different factions?
By the general public, she’s of course seen as a hero, but a hero that causes a little too much damage for what’s needed. Not to mention she’s chaotic, loud, disrespectful, sleeps around, and takes no shit. But they know she’s necessary.
She’s a constant contract by the Dark Brotherhood and Morag Tong, competition to fractions like the Comonna Tong and Summerset Shadows, and always pressured into joining the Companions. (She would, but they don’t offer a big enough thrill for her- not to mention the whole werewolf thing)
5. How were they perceived before their Dragonborn identity became widely known?
She was a Thieves Guild member and Nightingale, so within the ranks she was looked up to and respected. Outside of the ratways, though, she was just any other Nord citizen; only few knew of her amorous adventures though, as she makes sure it’s kept under wraps.
6. How are they perceived by the major villains- Alduin, Harkon, Miraak, etc.?
Alduin: He sees her as he sees the LDB in game; an obstacle and threat he needs to eradicate.
Harkon: An asset that immediately turns into a threat when she refuses to help them.
Miraak: Similar to Alduin, but grows more and more frustrated with how skilled she is in her young, young age.
7. How much do they utilize the power of Thu'um? Do they actively try to expand their inborn abilities through research and exploration? Or are they less invested?
Signe uses Aura Whisper like how we need to breathe to live. She uses it to see where she should either avoid or take caution of, as well as alert her followers where enemies may be! It helps for when she’s looting too, as she need to plan how to knock them out first. Signe doesn’t like to kill innocent folk. As for others, she uses Unrelenting Force mainly when she’s annoyed by something in her way, Dragon Aspect when the enemy is insanely powerful, and Storm Call when she needs a distraction! The Thu’um is useful, but she’s not heavily invested in it, until way later on in her journey after the events of Dragonborn.
8. If they were to invent a shout, what shout would they create? Bonus if you can come up with the words of the shout in dragon language.
It works similar or such to Dragon Aspect, but could like, literally turn you into a dragon for a short time. I thought since the DB has the blood and soul of a dragon, then with some effort surely they can call forth their soul to turn their flesh to match, right?
It would be a Shout containing some from of these words: Ofan (Bestow), Dov (Dragon), Slen (Flesh), Sil (Soul), Rii (Essence), Gron (Bind); I haven’t found an order that really ‘rings’ yet.
Otherwise, it would be the name given to their dragon soul, like how you call to Odahviing. In Signe’s case, it would be ‘Volzaannir’: Vol (Horror), Zaan (Shout [as in yell, shriek, etc.]), and Nir (Hunt). All three words are reference to a barn owl, which is her pet/familiar, since they’re known for their horrific shrieking and astounding hunting skills.
9. Whether they are magical or not- if they were to invent a spell for their own uses, that does not already exist in Skyrim, what kind of spell would they come up with?
Conjure dragon familiar! A spectral dragon will appear to fight for you for 90 - 300 seconds.
10. Which factions are they aligned with? Including civil war sides, Thalmor, guilds etc.
Thieves Guild, Dawnguard (not active), and TECHNICALLY the Imperials even though she considers herself a neutral force who just wants this shit to end.
11. If they had a pet or magical familiar as in ESO (excluding the dogs in Skyrim) what creature would it be?
She actually already has one! It’s a barn owl named Hyl (Danish for ‘shriek’).
12. Which standing stone have they used for the longest and why?
Thief stone, since it levels up sneak and such easily.
13. Dungeon delving- are they a fan? Do they do it for fun, or money, or just because of circumstance? Do they prefer Dwemer or Nordic ruins?
Signe did it in the past for the loot, and still kinda does, though after becoming Dragonborn it’s kinda become her daily tasks lmao. She’s more familiar with Nordic ruins, but Dwemer ruins are unique and fun to explore.
14. What is their personal favorite place in Skyrim- a town, hold, home, dungeon, or just a natural spot they happen to have a fondness for?
One is an area just above the Twilight Sepulcher, where you go to defeat the Guardian Bear in Kyne’s Sacred Trials; there’s a fairy ring and a shrine to Akatosh here, as well as a beautiful view!
Another one is where I also envision her old home being, before it was burnt down, as there are remains of a possible building there. It’s a little Northeast of Ivarstead, on top of a hill where you would meet a Whispmother.
15. What is their personal LEAST favorite place in Skyrim- somewhere that annoys them, or comes with bad memories, or otherwise?
Windhelm. It’s a beautiful city, of course, but the PEOPLE…. They’re just so awful and rude (Not including the Grey Quarter). Every time she’s there she always finds herself getting into a fistfight with some racist Nord asshole.
16. Where did they choose to live and what drew them there? Does it really feel like home?
She chooses to settle in Lakeview Manor, as it’s close to Riverwood - one of the only places Teldryn finds habitable, and she can agree. Although, she always finds herself missing the beautiful golden and red birch of the Rift. If she could have one of the homes from ESO in the Rift, she’d absolutely choose one of those.
17. What’s their style- do they tend to wear armor and if so, what sort? Otherwise what’s their average day-to-day clothing?
Signe’s armor is an alteration of Nordic carved steel mixed with dragon scales/bones, and has a variety of rune engravings and patterns befitting a walking prophecy. Before being Dragonborn, she normally wore the usual Thieves Guild attire, or her Nightingale uniform. Her day to day wear is typically a comfy fitting tunic and pants with well worn boots, and her sleepwear is similar to a miner shirt, but longer and only the shirt.
18. Your Dragonborn is now an actual dragon- what do they look like? Do they possess any unique features or abilities?
OHHH YES I WAS HOPING FOR THIS KIND OF QUESTION.
Signe actually has a dragon form! But she doesn’t harness it till way later in the game, after all the main quests. Her Dragon Aspect form reflects some of it, however.
Her dragon form is called Volzaannir [see question 8 for details], and she’s what I would call a Crested Dragon; a dragon that is partially feathers, the end of their muzzle is beaked, and is a tad thinner to allow more fluid aerodynamics. She utilizes shouts that call upon more natural forces, or invoke fear/frenzy, or conjure a variety of types of thralls. (Storm Call is a common one, Animal Allegiance, Cyclone, Dismay, Drain Vitality, Marked for Death, Soul Tear, and sometimes Frost Breath if fighting head-on).
19. Which NPC have they killed and regretted it?
Signe doesn’t like to kill, at all. It stems far before she even joined the Thieve’s Guild, and was thankful that they valued that rule as well. But, just because she doesn’t like to, doesn’t mean she won’t; she has to survive after all, and that means killing when justified.
She hasn’t regretted any of her intentional kills; however, she does mourn the loss of lives when they have become collateral damage. After a dragon attack, or rescuing travelers being attacked by bears, anything like that, there’s always lives she could not save in the pursuit of rescue. She often times feels survivors guilt - terribly so after Helgen, especially.
20. Which NPC have they killed and absolutely NOT regretted it (excluding the major villains)?
Ulfric and Mercer Frey.
Mercer was the first person she ever intentionally killed, driven near mad at the hurt from his betrayal. She squeezed his throat and held him under the water of Irkngthand, effectively drowning him slowly, eyes locked on his water-distorted face. The pure bloodlust she felt frightened her afterward, leaving her shaken and vowing to keep whatever that was under check.
She did not personally kill Ulfric, but she was the one who decided his fate in the end. When the Civil War is won, she summons Ulfric to death by Blood Eagle, and remains face-to-face with him until he dies - making sure her disappointment is the last thing he ever sees.
21. Do they worship any of the Divines, and if so, which do they have the strongest affinity for?
Kyne and Akatosh! (Or any name they go by in each culture). She mainly worships Kyne, feeling the strongest connection to her through culture, history, and soul.
22. Which Daedric Prince(s) do they end up most aligned to, if any? Which artifacts do they own and which do they actively make use of?
She aligns to Nocturnal majorly, thanks to being a Nightingale, and finds her to be surprisingly well-tempered and benevolent sometimes. Signe also finds herself more familiar with Azura, thanks to traveling with Teldryn most of the time - but she holds no judgement, and encourages worship if it brings others comfort or clearance.
While Nocturnal’s artifact, the Skeleton Key, is in its rightful place, she still holds the powers of Nocturnal’s Agents; typically switching between the Agent of Shadow and Subterfuge.
23. Which non-Daedric artifacts/magical items do they make regular use of?
A Stahlrim bow, dragonbone arrows, dragonbone swords (dual wield, one has electrical damage and the other traps souls), and two Stahlrim daggers affectionately named Frostbite (frost damage) and Freezer Burn (fire damage).
24. How did they respond to Miraak and what do they feel about him? Do they regret killing him? Did they spare him?
She saw Miraak as a threat at first, obviously, but there is of course that melancholy feeling of wishing he wasn’t so power-obsessed… He is the only other Dragonborn she (or anyone, in the 4th Era) has ever met, and he could have helped her in her quests, in defeating Alduin, in teaching her how to live with these powers and their consequences - being a mentor. Signe had planned on sparing him, attempting to convince him to escape Apocrypha with her, to live a new life on Nirn… But in battle, when his mask falls off, she finally gets a solid glimpse at his soul through his eyes, and realizes his mind is too far gone to save. Too tortured, too desperate, too power-hungry. Death is the kindest thing she could give him, while still keeping Nirn safe.
25. Which of the Dragon Priest masks do they favor and wear the most? If the answer is Konahrik, pick the second favorite too.
Signe doesn’t wear the masks, as she feels there’s too much evil floating around in them, no matter how fuckin’ cool they look. She’s not against the Dragon Priests themselves, just that the history and power held within the specific masks makes her anxious and uncomfortable. If she were to create her own (and she does), then she would wear it.
26. Which follower(s) would they never go anywhere without? On a personal level, what is their relationship with the follower(s) in question like and why do they stick with them?
TELDRYN. SERO. He’s her partner in crime, the only one brave enough to be her damage control, and who's always been at her side at the worst of times… and still willingly chooses to be. Signe met him when she was delivering a letter to Glover from Delvin (well before the main quest, but after Dawnguard), and decided to rest a bit in the Retching Netch overnight before heading back to Skyrim. His stupid charm and humor was enough to convince her to let him tag along, and she’ll never regret it.
Not only does she find out later on that he used to be good - if not best - friends with her father, the two of them being infamous mercenaries for hire in their respective countries. They slowly fall in love, cliche I know, but trust me - after the shit they’ve been through and bond over, how could they not?
27. If your Dragonborn were an in-game boss fight, what would their lair be like? What enemies would help them in the fight (if any) and what quest might lead to another hero having to fight them?
Ohhhohohoo boy, this one’s a fun one.
First off, her lair would be similar to ruins like Skuldafn, or the Blades headquarters, somewhere difficult to get to and holding this ancient aesthetic to it. Either that, or her very own plane of Oblivion, a pocket containing a strange mix of both Apocrypha, the Evergloom, and the Quagmire. A place of knowledge and wisdom and history that still holds unimaginable terror and secrets and madness.
What could lead to battling her perhaps is due to how she devotes her life after the events of Skyrim; seeking to bring forth her dragon blood and soul forth to not only give her a dragon form, but extend her life as well, as she has an underlying fear of death. If she cannot go to Sovngarde and be with her parents due to her soul being promised to Daedric Princes, then the afterlife is not something she looks forward to. However, she did not anticipate the toll an extended life would take on her human mind. Perhaps Teldryn and Ondolemar passed away somehow and she can’t bring herself to take another lover, she can’t make friends because she knows she’ll see them die too, and dragon companions to not hold the same kind of compassion or humor or affection her fellow mortals could.
She becomes reckless, often times falling into episodes of paranoia and madness, and people have noticed. Some worship her like the Dragon Priests in ancient times, but the others fear what she may be capable of. Signe may have holed herself away in that lair of hers, but the public still fears her power, and knows she was not meant to live as long as she has. Soldiers and mages and wizards and heroes alike are sent to grant her death, but are never successful, as her insanity and fear has brought her to sending dragons of all kinds after anyone who dares try and approach her with malice-intent. If your aura holds no hostility, however, you could be lucky and hold a conversation with a possible demi-god such as her; beware, as her dragons watch over your every move from the stone arcs and towers above.
She is the Last Dragonborn, and you WILL show her respect, even if it means getting on your knees and praying to her as if she were a god. And perhaps she is.
28. What are their greatest assets, both in terms of in-game skills and otherwise? What gave them the upper hand that allowed them to defeat Alduin?
Archery, dual-wielding, sneak, lock-picking, pick-pocketing, charisma/speech, and smithing have been the most helpful throughout her life thus far. As for defeating Alduin and Miraak and Harkon, though, it would have to be her resilience and determination to protect the life amongst Nirn. Without such personal strength and wit, she would have given up for sure.
29. What do they do post-Skyrim, once all the main quests are finished? What happens to them in the aftermath?
It’s tough for Signe to come to terms with the thought that technically, everything is over. The journey’s have made her an adrenaline junky, they’ve brought new nightmares, and there are fractions up the wazoo who still want her dead despite doing nothing to harm them. The Black Books and Herma Mora haunting her have caused her to act relatively ‘insane’ at some points; she’s gained too much of a reputation as a hero to really return to her Nightingale days; and being a mercenary isn't up her alley.
Her overall dream in life was to just settle in a cottage somewhere in the Rift and carve wood and bones for a living, take up smithing and open an armor and weapons shop called “Helm of Awe”. But of course after having her life altered so intensely in such a short time, it’s taken its toll on her, and left her too restless to fully settle down.
So, she takes her band of Merry Mer (Teldryn and Ondolemar lmao) and they travel all over, looting burrows and taking high-risk jobs.
She also takes up researching and meditating on Words of Power, aiming to create a Shout that allows her to harness the entirety of her dragon soul - all the way to flesh. Signe also looks into ways to bring her dragon blood and soul more forward, less buried in her spirit, to lengthen her life more; purely for the sake of her Mer lovers, though there’s an underlying fear there too. [See question 27]
30. Are they proud of themselves? Do they see themselves as a hero?
She is proud, deep down, because she knows in the end it’s for the betterment and safety of the world. A hero? Absolutely. Signe may be humble in the present about her position, but not even the kindest person on Nirn could pass up the chance to brag about saving the world thrice over.
VERY IMPORTANT BONUS QUESTION: In their opinion, who is the best dog in all Skyrim?
MEEKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ultimate Construction Father’s Day Gift Guide 2020
Under $50
Bosch TS1004 Table Saw Dust Collector Bag
Table Saw Dust Bag
This is honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made and it’s so inexpensive. Table saws are essential on many jobsites and workshops, but dust collection can be an issue. If you don’t have an extensive dust collection system or don’t want to deal with the extra noise of a vacuum, this Bosch table saw dust bag is a no brainer. I’ve been using it on my Milwaukee M18 cordless table saw and it collects probably 80-90% of the dust

Klein Tools ET310 AC Circuit Breaker Finder with Integrated GFCI Outlet Tester
Klein Tools Digital Circuit Breaker Finder
If you’re house is like mine, the labeling system inside your circuit breaker box is an absolute mess, which makes it extremely difficult to find the correct breaker to turn off when needed. The Klein Tools Digital Circuit Breaker finder is a 2-in-1 tool that not only can confirm that your outlets have been properly wired, but it can also help you easily locate the correct breaker an outlet is wired to. Simply plug the outlet tester into an outlet, bring the receiver wand to your breaker panel, and run the receiver down each breaker until the light indicates that the correct breaker has been found. Of course, you should ALWAYS double check that power has been turned off to whatever electrical system you need to work on before beginning.
Bosch Clic-Change 3-Piece Self-Centering Drill Bit Assortment CC2430
Bosch Clic-Change Self Centering Drill Bits
Whever you’re installing hardware that requires more than one screw, the slightest misstep when drilling your pilot hole can cause the whole piece to become misaligned. These Bosch Self-Centering bits all but guarantee that your screw will be perfectly centered through the use of a spring loaded housing sized for #6, #8, and #10 screws.
MXP-AL Die-Cast Aluminum Utility Knife OLFA
OLFA MXP-AL or LA-X Utility Knife
Everybody probably already has a utility knife somewhere in their toolbox or junk drawer, but it’s probably not an OLFA. This Japanese-made knife is actually up to 8 blades-in-one, because you can snap off one section at a time if it gets dull. Paired with their new black speed blades, you not only get the convenience of multiple blades, but an extremely sharp, fast cutting knife.
The OLFA MXP-AL is their newest heavy duty knife, made with an aluminum shell. For a little less cost, the LA-X is a tried and true knife, as well, as it comes with the same blades, but it’s housed in a plastic shell with a rubber overmould.
QUICKLOADER QL4500 15-Feet by 1.25-Inch Retractable Tie-down Strap, 4500-Pound Breakforce, Red
Quickloader Retractable Ratchet Tiedown
If you own a truck, you know that securing a load can be a huge hassle, especially if you’re used to dealing with bungee cords or traditional tiedowns. With Quickloaders, there will never be any additional slack flapping in the wind, because the excess retracts back into it. It’s so easy, you can do it one handed. There are various sizes and strengths available on their website, starting at around $20, but the QL4500 is a good one to start with, at around $40.

Milwaukee WorkSkin Light Weight Performance Shirt - Gray - Medium
New Milwaukee Workwear
You, of course, know Milwaukee Tool because of their power tools, but they have also had an extensive line of workwear for construction professionals for years, but they have just recently updated and expanded their lineup. In addition to updated versions of their Workskin lightweight, moisture wicking shirts, they have added heavy duty pocket shirts and hoodies. The heavy duty pocket shirts will align with a more traditional work shirt that many contractors have grown up wearing and the Workskin shirts are great for the hot summer months that are nearly upon us.
CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK System 17-in 2-Drawer Tool Box Black Buy from Lowe's
Craftsman Versastack 2-Drawer Unit
After being acquired by Stanley Black & Decker (SBD), Craftsman recently launched a brand new line of around 1,200 new tools. It already appears to be a good move for Craftsman tool lovers as it has breathed new life into the old Sears brand. One of the best buys in the new brand is the Versastack 2-drawer unit. Every tradesman or garage warrior needs additional storage and the Verstastack will not only stack on top of other Versastack units, but will also stack on DeWalt T-stack units, thanks to that aforementioned SBD acquisition. You can get it at Lowe’s for around $35.
Over $50
ISOtunes FREE True Wireless Earplug Earbuds, 22 dB Noise Reduction Rating, 21 Hour Battery, Noise Cancelling Mic, OSHA Compliant Bluetooth Hearing Protector (Matte Black)
ISOtunes Free Wireless OSHA-Compliant Hearing Protection Headphones
Hearing protection is one of those things that construction workers ignore until years later when they realize they have lost a significant amount of their hearing. OSHA has strict hearing protection requirements to avoid hearing loss in workers, ISOtunes FREE Bluetooth Hearing Protectors offer a 22db noise reduction rating and they also limit the audio playback to 85db, keeping you below the actionable noise level.
These wireless ear buds will last for 7 hours, but the rechargeable charging case it comes with will provide an additional 14 hours of playback time.
If you’re looking for a more affordable option and don’t mind the cords, the ISOtunes Pro 2.0 offers similar features at a lower cost.
KEEN Utility Men's Cincinnati 6” Soft Toe Waterproof Construction Shoe, Belgian/Sandshell, 11.5D US KEEN Utility
Keen Utility Cincinnati Work Boot
Keen Utility showed off their new Cincinnati work boot earlier this year at the World of Concrete and it’s hard not to love this boot at first glance. Sporting a classic wedge toe look, the Cincinnati is the beefed-upped heavy duty version of the Keen Utility San Jose Boot, which is a much beloved light duty boot of similar look. this boot is meant to withstand abuse from tough jobsites, sporting a waterproof liner to keep hyour feet dry, Goodyear welt construction to durability, and a super comfortable midsole.
DEWALT DCC020IB 20V Max Inflator (Bare) Dewalt
DeWalt DCC020IB 20V Max Inflator
Everyone needs an inflator at some point, whether it’s an emergency roadside tire fill-up, bike tire top offs, camping mattresses, or those pesky pool floats. The DeWalt 20V MAX Inflator is the most versatile of them all, as it’s able to inflate high pressure or high volume and can be powered by battery, 12V DC (car plug-in), or a 110V wall outlet.
Besides its versatility, one of its greatest features is the ability to set the PSI you’d like to fill it to and it will automatically shut off when it reaches that level. You can read our full review of it by clicking here.
Milwaukee 2505-20 M12 FUEL Installation Drill/Driver (Tool-Only) Milwaukee
Milwaukee Tool M12 Installation Drill/Driver

Milwaukee String Trimmer Kit w/Quik-LOK
Milwaukee M18 Quik-Lok Landscaping Attachment System
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could power a string trimmer, a hedge trimmer, a pole saw, and an edger with the same tool? Well, you can with Milwaukee’s Quik-Look attachment system. By quickly detaching the bottom half of the trimmer showed in the picture by loosening a knob and pressing a button, you can quickly change out to one of the 4 attachments using the same motor and same battery.

Notes taken during Super Bowl XLVII
PREGAME
This is a CBS broadcast. Starts with a pre-produced segment with Ravens and Niners players talking about wanting to win.
Simms: For the players, this is an emotional time. Need to make sure they don't overplay and make a big mistake to cost them the game.
FIRST QUARTER
LaMichael James! My dude! LaMike is back to return the opening kickoff for San Francisco. Kickoff is through the end zone.
Second-year QB Colin Kaepernick comes on to run the San Francisco offense in the Super Bowl. It's almost like he's a good football player or something.
First play, play action pass from Kaepernick to Vernon Davis for 20. It's coming back though. Illegal formation. Davis was covered by the wide receiver. Dumb mistake.
Nantz: This is Ray Lewis's final game. He's retiring after the game.
Niners go three and out. That illegal formation penalty killed the drive before it began.
Andy Lee will boot it away to the Ravens. Jacoby Jones back to return it. Gets to the Baltimore 48.
Ravens rolling on offense. Quick throw to the fullback, then a run to Ray Rice, and then a play-action pass downfield to Torrey Smith. Baltimore inside the 20.
Flacco incomplete in the end zone on third down, but the Niners jumped. The Ravens get another chance.
Baltimore goes five-wide on 3rd and 4 from the 13. Touchdown! Flacco lofts one over the top to Anquan Boldin in the end zone. That penalty cost the Niners four points. Oof. 7-0 Baltimore, less than five minutes into the game.
Boldin was behind everybody.
CBS graphic: Niners have allowed their opponents to score first in every postseason game this year.
Niners get a first down. Crabtree in the slot, gets a matchup with Ray Lewis and makes Lewis look silly. Gains 15 or so.
Nifty run from Frank Gore for eight yards, out near midfield.
3rd and 2, designed run for Kaepernick out of the shotgun. Follows his right guard for 9 yards. First down into Ravens territory.
San Francisco running the ball well. Another first down for Gore, to the 32.
Now they go to the air. Kaepernick to Vernon Davis, wide open, complete. Inside the Baltimore 10 now, first and goal.
Second down, Kaepernick scrambles and just barely misses a wide-open Crabtree.
Kaep is sacked on third down. The Niners will have to attempt a field goal. David Akers from 36 - got it. 7-3 Ravens, 3:58 left in the first quarter.
Ravens safety Ed Reed is going to the locker room. I guess maybe he's injured, but he doesn't look like he's in agony or anything. Replay shows he twisted his knee when he tackled Vernon Davis on the last drive.
Sideline reporter Solomon Wilcots confirms Reed injured his left knee on the tackle of Davis.
Third and a half-yard, Ray Rice runs left for a couple yards. First down.
Ed Reed returns to the sideline. Looks like he's probably fine.
Third and 7 for the Ravens in their own territory. It looks like Flacco is just throwing it away on a scramble, but miraculously, Anquan Boldin gets to the ball and grabs it for a gain of 31 into Niners territory.
Third and 13, Flacco scrambles again but this time the defense gets him. A sack at the San Francisco 43 ends the first quarter. Baltimore 7, San Francisco 3.
SECOND QUARTER
Sam Koch boots it into the end zone on the punt. Not ideal.
Cutaway: Harbaugh parents, Jack and Jackie.
First down, brilliant pass from Kaepernick to Davis across the middle. A frickin' laser hits Davis in stride. First down out to the San Francisco 49.
Another pass to Davis, this time a gain of 11 to the Baltimore 40. Seems like the Niners are trying to get Ray Lewis in pass coverage to take him out of the run game.
LaMichael! LMJ gets nine yards up the middle on the first down. Second and 1 from the 32.
I really dig this formation.
Niners having big success with the read-option run game, which could never work in the NFL because it's a college gadget trick that pro defenses are too smart and fast to fall for.
Aw, hell. James makes a great spin move to avoid a tackle, then fumbles when he's hit. A replay clearly shows it's a legit fumble. Dammit, LaMichael. Ravens recover.
Ravens convert another third and short. Bernard Pierce this time gains two on 3rd and 1.
Flacco fires downfield to a covered Ed Dickson. Gain of 21, inside the San Francisco 30.
Now Flacco to Dickson again. They're throwing a bunch to their tight ends (Pitta and Dickson) too. Personal foul tacked onto the end of the play, which isn't a big deal for the Niners - it's a four-yard penalty. First and goal from the 4.
CBS graphic: Ravens have scored on 29 of 30 drives on which they've had a first and goal.
Make it 30 of 31. Flacco to Pitta in the end zone. 14-3 Ravens, halfway through the second quarter. That James fumble was big.
First play of the next drive, Kaepernick downfield, overshoots receiver Randy Moss and hits Baltimore's Ed Reed right in the numbers. Picked off in San Francisco territory.
There's some pushing and shoving after the play. Offsetting personal fouls. Nothing happens. Baltimore keeps the ball.
Nantz: That's the first time a 49ers quarterback has ever been intercepted in a Super Bowl. This is the franchise's sixth Super Bowl.
Ravens keeping it on the ground here, which makes some sense - move the ball while giving San Francisco as little time as possible before halftime on their next possession.
3rd and 4, Flacco to Rice in traffic, makes a couple of nice moves and gets to the 20 for a first down.
Second and 9, right through Boldin's hands. Could have been intercepted but isn't. Sets up third and 9. 3:17 left in the half. Presumably, they'll pass here.
Yep, they do. Flacco overshoots Torrey Smith in the end zone. They'll settle for a Justin Tucker field goal attempt. It's a fake! Direct snap to Tucker - he gains eight yards but needed nine. Well executed, but just came up short. It's a turnover on downs with 3:05 left in the first half. I feel like maybe Tucker just became the leading rusher in Super Bowl history among placekickers.
There was all kinds of room for Tucker to run, but unfortunately for the Ravens he runs like a kicker.
2nd and 10, Kaepernick throws from his own end zone. He double clutched on the throw and telegraphed it. Very nearly picked off at his own 15.
Ravens call timeout after an unsuccessful third down draw play. Niners will punt with 2:19 left in the second quarter.
Jacoby Jones muffs the punt, picks it up, and gets to his own 45. Flacco will have 2:07 to score before the half.
Nantz: Ravens have a shot to score here, then get the ball to start the second half.
Second and ten, Flacco deep to Torrey Smith. Probably should have been offensive pass interference but there's no flag. Pass hits DB Chris Culliver in the numbers but falls incomplete.
Coming out of the two minute warning, Flacco deep again, this time to Jones. Jones makes a diving catch, gets up, shimmies, jukes, and finds the end zone. 21-3 Ravens. 1:45 left in the first half.
Chris Culliver was all kinds of discombobulated on the touchdown.
Replay shows Jones was nearly touched while he was on the ground, but was not touched.
Ravens wearing an Art Modell memorial patch, which...no sir, I don't like it at all.
Kaepernick comes out and completes a couple of passes on the ensuing drive and gets a roughing the passer penalty tacked on to the end of the second completion. Niners get to the Baltimore 45.
CBS graphic: Niners came back from 17 behind in the NFC championship game.
Kaepernick goes downfield again, this time to Delaney Walker. Terrific throw gets the Niners into the red zone. San Francisco calls timeout with 0:57 left, first and ten from the Baltimore 17.
Third and 2 from the 9, Kaepernick rolls, rolls, looks, and falls over. Didn't see anyone to throw to. San Francisco calls timeout with 0:03 left in the half. Akers from 27 yards. Right down the middle. We've reached halftime. 21-6 Baltimore.
HALFTIME
Simms: The Ravens have given the ball to Flacco and told him to go win the game. They're crossing the defense up.
Wilcots: Asked John Harbaugh about the fake field goal. Said low-risk, high reward. Either we pick up the first down, score, or we pin the Niners deep in their own territory.
THIRD QUARTER
Welp. Jacoby Jones takes the kickoff nine yards deep in the end zone and goes virtually untouched through the coverage team. That's a 109 yard touchdown, which is a record, obviously. Extra point is good. It's 28-6 with 14:49 left in the third quarter.
Gone.
Simms to Nantz: Both of us were surprised Jones chose to take the ball out of the end zone.
The Harbaugh in its default state.
First play, Kaepernick on the run, throws a nice pass to Crabtree, right in stride. 29 yard completion for a first down.
If anyone’s going to go full Hannibal Lecter with a facemask, it might as well be Ray Lewis.
Second down, Kaep buying time, hanging in the pocket, gets tripped and falls. Six yard sack.
Simms's microphone cuts out while describing the sack, then the power goes out in the stadium. Almost immediately, emergency lighting kicks in, but it's way too dark to play.
Have you tried turning it off, then back on again?
We've got video but still no audio from the announcers. CBS goes to commercial. When they come back, Steve Tasker is reporting. He's doing his best to describe what's going on, but as a breaking news reporter, Tasker makes a wonderful special teams player.
CBS goes to commercial, comes back, and it's still Tasker. Players stretching on the field. Nobody is sure how long this is going to take.
Tasker and Wilcots suggest that this power outage could cost the Ravens the momentum they would have had after the Jones kickoff return touchdown.
Wilcots tosses to the studio team. James Brown vamps, kills time. He's doing the studio host version of scrambling.
Shannon Sharpe: There's been a power surge in the stadium - it's called the Baltimore Ravens.
Bill Cowher: Niners defense needs to come up with turnovers. Ravens are going to play with the lead and burn clock. You can still throw the ball, but take your time in the huddle, snap the ball with the play clock below 5, just milk the clock.
Cowher: San Francisco will have to go to the hurry up offense soon. That will affect the inexperienced Kaepernick.
Sharpe: Before the lights went out, I was getting the sense this game was about to get away from the 49ers.
Cowher: Not seeing a sense of urgency from the 49ers, which isn't because they don't know the situation, it's because they're inexperienced.
CBS runs highlights, still killing time.
Marino: John Harbaugh is a special teams coach. Between the kickoff return and the fake field goal, special teams are playing a big role.
Cowher: It's like another, longer halftime now.
Tasker: This delay might last as long as 20 minutes. Called Jim Harbaugh over, he didn't want to talk on camera but I told him it could be that long. He said thanks, that nobody had told him.
Wilcots: Ravens just working to keep focus, not going to the locker room, getting ready to go win a championship.
Cowher: If I'm Baltimore, I'm just worried about the game. Gotta concentrate on the job at hand.
Studio team agrees that this break helps the 49ers.
Cowher: Jim Harbaugh needs to pull Kaepernick aside and say we need more of a sense of urgency. You have to stay comfortable out there, but we need to move more quickly.
Brown: It'll be another 15 minutes before the game is underway.
Cowher: [Backup QB] Alex Smith could run a hurry-up offense maybe better than Kaepernick. Marino: He hasn't played in how long? I wouldn't do that.
Cowher: I'm not saying you immediately go to Alex Smith. I'd just think about that in the back of my mind - who can get more plays run? Who gives me a chance to score a lot of points?
Marino: I thought the 49ers would be able to run the ball better. That's their gameplan and it hasn't worked for them.
Sharpe: Kaepernick is a one-read quarterback. He looks to Crabtree, then takes off running.
Lights beginning to come back on inside the stadium.
Marino: Beyonce must've knocked the lights out.
Wilcots: The league is not prepared to make a statement about what knocked the power out. They're still working on finding out what happened.
CBS runs highlights again. They're tapdancing out there.
Sharpe: This delay will hurt Ray Lewis. He's 37 years old!
Brown: Play will resume in 7-10 minutes.
Sharpe: Somebody didn't send the check to pay the stadium power bill.
Marino: John Harbaugh will tell his team to relax and be patient. We've got a lead.
CBS goes to a ticking "since power outage" clock. 27:20 and counting.
Tasker: Outside power feed coming into the stadium went dead. Before play resumes, teams will get a warmup period. There's no restrictions on that, both teams can do what they feel like they need to do.
Sharpe: If this happened to me, I'd tell my guys that the power didn't just go out on us. It went out on the other guys too - we can't control that. We have 25-30 minutes left, we have to take care of that and we'll win the Super Bowl.
Back upstairs to Nantz and Simms. Nantz: Hey, Phil, next time you decide to charge your phone, give us a warning, okay?
Simms: There's no time for the 49ers to panic. Defense needs to make some plays and get the ball back for their offense.
CBS shows video of a power outage the 49ers had last year (in 2011).
Simms: If I'm Jim Harbaugh, Colin Kaepernick is my man and I'm going to win or lose with him. Between his legs and his arm, that's how they'll get back into the game if they do.
Tracy Wolfson: On the 49ers sidelines, their equipment is still coming back online. Things are just now beginning to work, which will allow the game to resume.
Nantz: Game will resume in the next minute.
Delay is 34 minutes. Nantz says when they hear from the NFL about the cause, they'll pass it along.
3rd and 13, Kaepernick rolls and throws underneath. It's complete but short of the first down. Niners to punt again.
Lee boots it through the end zone, which at the very least keeps it away from Jacoby Jones.
CBS graphic: 84 minutes have elapsed since the Ravens' last offensive play.
Doesn't seem to have affected them. First play, Flacco to Smith for 15.
3rd and 7, Flacco to Ray Rice for 6. They'll punt.
Koch kicks it through the end zone. Niners get the ball with 10:26 left in the quarter.
Hey, Dean Pees is Baltimore's defensive coordinator. Former head coach at Kent State. Neat.
Kaepernick scrambles for 15. He'll take that all day if they leave that much space open.
Man, you just can’t do that against Kaepernick. He will shred you.
Excellent throw deep downfield from Kaepernick to Crabtree. Hits him right in the hands and Crabtree just plain drops it. Leaves a third and 8.
Kaep to Moss for 9. First down.
Niners call a timeout at the line of scrimmage. Oof. They may need that later.
Simms: If Kaepernick didn't understand the play, he should have just gone to the line of scrimmage and done something. Those timeouts are too important to burn.
Kaepernick to Vernon Davis for 15. They're at the Baltimore 31.
Now Kaepernick zips it to Crabtree, who bounces off of two DBs and gets into the end zone. 31-yard score. 28-13 Ravens. San Francisco isn't dead yet.
Subpar tackling
Nantz: NFL has revised the kickoff return to 108 yards instead of 109. Merely ties the all-time record instead of breaking it.
Ravens go three-and-out, capped off by a sack on third down. Left tackle Bryant McKinnie didn't block anything, he just stood there and the rusher blew past him.
Koch punts from his end zone. Ted Ginn grabs it on a bounce and takes it to the Baltimore 20. Niners are super-not dead yet.
First play, Kaepernick to Davis for 14. First and goal from the Baltimore 6.
Next play, Gore gets the edge on the right side and he's in the end zone. All of a sudden, it's 28-20 Ravens with 4:59 left in the third quarter.
Yards since the power outage: 106-16, San Francisco.
Simms: I don't think the power outage affected Baltimore. I just think the 49ers are playing better.
Superdome statement: Power has been restored. Sorry.
NFL statement: Stadium's looking into it. We dunno. We'll let you know when we hear.
Second and 7, complete pass to Ray Rice, who almost immediately fumbles it. Niners recover inside the Baltimore 25. Have I mentioned San Francisco isn't dead yet?
That was the third fumble Ray Rice has lost in the postseason.
Third and 7, Kaepernick looks for Ginn in the end zone. Tipped away and the Niners will settle for an Akers field goal attempt. It'll be a 39-yard kick. Wide left, but there's a flag on the play.
Running into the kicker. Akers gets another shot, this time from 34 yards.
Replay shows it easily could have been roughing instead of the five yard penalty.
Got it this time. 28-23 Baltimore, 3:10 left in the third quarter.
Akers looks injured as he kicks off. Not a great kick, but not horrible. Something to keep an eye on.
Third and 3, Swing pass to Boldin for a big gain. Gets to the San Francisco 35.
Now a quick pass to Pitta for 7. They're well within field goal range.
Last play of the third quarter comes on 3rd and less than a yard. Bernard Pierce makes a terrific move and picks up 8 yards. He's tackled by the neck and unsurprisingly injured. The Ravens will have a new set of downs as the fourth quarter begins. 28-23 after three.
FOURTH QUARTER
Ravens DL Haloti Ngata is injured and not expected to return.
First and goal from the 5, Ray Rice up the middle for 4. A touchdown here would be huge.
Second and goal, Rice up the middle again. No gain. I'm having Super Bowl XVI flashbacks.
Third down, Flacco rolling right, buying time, and throws it out of the end zone. They'll settle for a 19-yard field goal attempt. Perfect. Ravens up 31-23, San Francisco is still within one score.
Nice throw downfield, Kaepernick to Moss. The Ravens blew the coverage on Moss. 30+ yard completion.
Next play, Frank Gore with a nice run left, cut back to the right, gets inside the Baltimore 20.
Nantz: It's been a rough month for Ray Lewis in the court of public opinion since he announced his retirement. Well, yeah, Jim, people don't like it when dudes intentionally lie to the police during murder investigations.
Oh, what a run from Kaepernick. Goes back to pass and sees a bunch of open space to his left, so he takes off. 15 yard touchdown run cuts the lead to 31-29 and the Niners are going for 2.
Remember the thing about not giving Kaepernick a bunch of open space to run in? Yeah. That.
Incomplete pass on the two-point conversion. Kaep was hurried by an unexpected safety blitz.
That 15 yard run was the longest touchdown run by a quarterback in the history of the Super Bowl.
So anyway, it's 31-29 Baltimore with 9:57 left.
Wilcots: Ravens RB Bernard Pierce was injured, went to the locker room, ran a bit to test the injury, talked to trainers, and now appears to be ready to go.
Third and 9 for the Ravens, Flacco misses Torrey Smith by a few yards, but DB Chris Culliver was all hands on Smith's jersey. Pass interference. Big first down.
Flacco rolls, looks, and sees Anquan Boldin improvise to get open. Ten yard completion, first down near midfield.
Niners challenge the spot. That's a big call from Jim Harbaugh - risking one of their two remaining time outs.
Simms hates the challenge, but it pays off for the 49ers. It's third and inches instead of first and ten.
The Ravens throw on third and inches! Gutsy call from Flacco to audible to that play. It works. Boldin makes a catch with a defender's arm right there in the way. What a catch.
Clock under 6:00. Ravens are in field goal range.
Rice up the middle, stuffed. Pierce up the middle, stuffed. Clock will be below 4:30 before the next Ravens play.
The Niners send two linebackers on a blitz for third and long, but they mistimed the snap. Guessed wrong, it looks like. Jim Harbaugh is freaking out, which is admittedly his natural state. Third and 2 instead of 4th and 7.
Incomplete pass to Pitta on third down. Was it tipped at the line? Not sure. Either way, Pitta should have caught it.
Justin Tucker hits a field goal to extend the lead to 34-29 Ravens. Niners will get the ball with a chance to win the game.
49ers have never led, but could win the Super Bowl with a touchdown on this drive. Truth be told, they probably need a touchdown on this drive to have any chance at all.
Gore runs for 7 on first down, Kaep scrambles for another 8 or 9 on second down. He got out of bounds. 3:32 left, first and 10 from the Niners' 36.
Oh, what an amazing throw. Vernon Davis was open deep downfield and Kaepernick hit him in the hands. Davis drops the ball.
Next play, another laser from Kaepernick. Michael Crabtree over the middle, gets to the Baltimore 40.
Now they hand it to Frank Gore, who blows through the defense for 33. First and goal from the Ravens' 7. 2:45 left in the game.
Tyrod Taylor sighting! Tyrod's hanging out on the Ravens' sideline.
They run it up the middle on first down for a yard or two and the clock hits 2:00. Two minute warning time, Niners with a legit chance to win this thing after a 22-point second half deficit.
Second and goal from the 5, Kaepernick rolls, rolls, looks, and there's nothing to throw to. Incomplete pass.
Third and goal. Play whistled dead. Delay of game? Really? No, not really. Harbaugh got a timeout called before the penalty.
So it's still third and goal. 1:55 on the clock. They throw short and wide to Crabtree, but he's decked and drops it. Can't blame him for that.
Fourth and goal. They need to score on this play. Do or die.
Die. Kaepernick overthrows Crabtree in the end zone. Jim Harbaugh loses his mind claiming a hold on the defense. There's no flag. It's a turnover downs.
Hey Jim, what did the officials just do to you?
Replay shows that the defensive back had a couple handfuls of red jersey. Probably should have been a flag. Simms says it's hard to throw a flag in that situation - I say if it's hard to throw a flag when a game is on the line, you should find new work.
That’s a handful of jersey if I’ve ever seen one.
Niners burn their final timeout on first down. 1:42 left. It'll be run, run, punt. Maybe you take an intentional safety on fourth down? I'd rather do that than give the Niners the ball close enough for a Hail Mary shot.
Run, stuffed. Run, stuffed. Play clock-to-game clock differential is nine seconds. I say you snap the ball to the punter, have him dance as long as possible, and step out the back of the end zone. Simms says you punt it. That seems insane. Simms thinks about it more and still says you punt it. If you can get the clock down past 6-7 seconds before the safety, the field goal isn't even an option. There's time for one play - the only question is where the ball is snapped from. The free kick gives Baltimore an extra 20 yards, at least.
The Ravens do give away the safety. Koch is able to get the clock down to 0:04 before he's pushed out of the end zone. I still have no idea what Simms is smoking. That was so obviously the right decision that I can't see a case against it.
Simms: "Well now, they get to either punt the ball or kick it off from the...*pause*...looks like the 20 yard line."
Cool, Phil, you're not even completely sure what the rules are. Great analysis.
Nantz references the free kick rule, allowing the receiving team to choose to kick an uncontested field goal after a fair catch. But they need the fair catch, otherwise it's not an option.
Koch punts it all the way back past the Niners' 20. Free kick isn't an option. Ted Ginn returns the kick for around 30 yards but is tackled. That's why you give away the safety, fellas. Game over. Ravens 34, Niners 31.
POSTGAME
Cutaway: Ravens' Chykie Brown making "snow angels" in the celebratory confetti.
Coming up next: A new episode of Elementary. If you want more postgame coverage, you'll want to go to the CBS Sports Network.
Marino: Seemed like in the second half, after the power outage, the Ravens defense was tired. But they came up with the stand at the end of the game.
Cowher: Red zone defense won the game for the Ravens. Kaepernick was great. May have lost, but this kid has a future in the NFL. Yeah, well, he would have if he didn't express an unpopular opinion.
Esiason: Flacco's going to be named the MVP. Stemmed the tide of momentum, stood up when they needed him. This is Joe Flacco's game.
Richard Dent brings the Vince Lombardi trophy to the podium. Super Bowl XX MVP.
Roger Goodell: Ravens have made five straight playoff appearances, and are now the World Champions.
Ravens owner Steve Bischiotti: Thanks to New Orleans for a spectacular way to celebrate. To the fans back in Baltimore, we're bringing another one back home to you.
Nantz references O.J. Brigance, former Raven suffering from ALS.
First thing John Harbaugh says is that he wants the fans to give a big long cheer for Brigance.
Nantz: What did you say to your brother after the game? John Harbaugh: I told him I loved him. Nantz: What did he say? John Harbaugh: Congratulations.
Joe Flacco is named the MVP.
Flacco: We don't make it easy, but that's the way the city of Baltimore is. It's the way we are. Did this for the people back in Baltimore. Can't wait to get back there with the trophy for the parade.
Ray Lewis: When God is for you, who can be against you? No greater way to go out than as a champion, with these teammates.
Yes, Ray, I'm sure God was totally stoked about that time you stopped the police from arresting murderers.

idfk man I ended up writing a thing w/ Milly n my shitty db OCs n it sucks
enjoy or somethin
Milly regretted coming here. She stood awkwardly out on the front step, pillow under her arm and a beat up duffle bag in hand that she may or may not have stolen. She felt like she was in fucking elementary school again, waiting outside for her new friends to open the door already. How'd they managed to convince her to come here anyway?
Oh right.
Milly agreed to come if there was booze, and they promised her they'd have some.
They fucking better.
She rang the doorbell again, tapping her foot and considering kicking the door in. The door swung open just before Milly could make up her mind on whether or not this was gonna go from a slumber party to a breaking and entering. The first of her newer henchmen, A tan skinned girl with slightly spikey black hair and a red beanie. Same outfit as her other cronies, only she had a skirt and knee highs to complete the look instead of the standard pants. She gave Milly a manic grin, bouncing on her toes excitedly.
"BOSS! I didn't think you'd actually come!" The shorter woman clapped her hands together with glee.
"Yeah, well, How can I pass up free booze?" Milly half joked, pushing past her and making her way inside. "Lilly, right?" Milly pointed at her.
"Uh, Jill" She corrected, somewhat awkwardly. "Lilly's my sister." "right right" Milly used her foot to close the door behind her. Jill was visibly nervous.
"So, uh- This way's me 'n Lil's room" She led Milly off down a hallway, pointing out the linen closet and the bathroom on the way. She opened the door to the girls' shared bedroom, Lilly sitting on the end of the king sized bed they shared and playing video games on their decently sized but fairly out of date TV. She mirrored her sister's fashion sense almost perfectly, only she decided to go with standard pants instead of a skirt. Her long black hair hid her face from view somewhat as she didn't turn away from her game.
The room was adequitely sized, plenty of room for the king sized bed and two dressers, the entertainment center with the TV on top of it and DVDs stacked on shelves nearby along with an assortment of old games. On the far side of the room there was a pile of dirty laundry, mostly consisting of brown pants and red sweaters. There was acouple of bottles of wine sitting on the bedside table.
So they didn't lie.
"Just set your stuff wherever," Jill shrugged. "Hey Lil! Boss is here!" Lilly paused her game and looked over at her sister and their boss. She blinked, taking a moment to figure out what was going on apparently. Although with abit of a delay, her face lit up. "Hey girl!" Lilly greeted, setting down her controller and uncrossing her legs. "You actually came! wow!" She laughed, leaning down to pick up her slurpee she'd set on the floor and took a long sip. Milly awkwardly dumped her duffle bag in the corner along with her pillow.
"So," Jill quickly scuttled over to the DVD shelf and picked up two anime dvds, holding them both up with a grin. "Which should we watch first?"
Milly lowkey hated she was having as much fun as she did with these two. They'd been watching bad anime and laughing at it together for acouple hours now, halfway through their first bottle of wine. Lilly and Jill had changed into Pyjamas halfway through their marathon, n Milly eventually did the same since it was getting late. Didn't wanna pass out in her cape and wake up strangled by it. When Milly came back in the room wearing an old tanktop and shorts, Jill looked away suddenly, opting to stare out the adjacent window to avert her eyes.
"what?" Milly gave her a look as Lilly snickered.
"She's just got the hots for you and is being -FUCKING OW- JILL WHAT THE FUCK" Lilly elbowed her sister in retaliation to getting kicked, the two shoving eachother and trying to push the other off the bed.
Milly brushed it off as siblings being dicks to eachother, grabbing a pillow and whacking Jill upside the head with it. This knocked her into Lilly, causing both of them to fall off the bed.
"Fuckin' asshole" Jill grumbled, getting off her sister and climbing back on the bed only to get smacked in the face with a pillow yet again. Lilly cackled at the sight and snatched another pillow off of the bed.
"PILLOW FIIIIGHT" Lilly screeched, joining in on wailing on poor Jill with pillows as both her and Milly cackled at her expense
. Eventually she managed to crawl to the other side of the bed and grab her own pillow, using it as a shield until Lilly got the bright idea to hit Milly instead.
Milly gave her a look, staring at her for a moment before slamming her in the side with her pillow, showing zero mercy.
The pillow fight just got real.
After about 30 minutes of walloping eachother with pillows, they finally decided to stop when they were getting tired and Jill had nearly managed to knock Milly into the TV.
They went back to watching anime for abit, still sipping on what was left of the wine.
"Honestly sucks we only got subs." Lilly grumbled, taking a swig from the second bottle they'd opened.
"What? You're kidding" Milly gave her a look of mild disgust. "The dub for this was fucking terrible."
"Still better than subs," Lilly hummed, nearly choking when Milly stole the wine bottle from her mid sip.
"Take it back"
"Wha-"
"The dub is fucking awful." Milly reiterated. Jill quietly took the bottle from Milly, not wanting to let her have an impromptu weapon should the fight escalate. She quietly slunk to the other side of the bed, not wanting any part.
"I. Like. The. Dub." Lilly glared up at Milly, sitting up and crossing her arms.
"The. Subs. Are. Better." Milly got in Lilly's face, the two of them glaring eachother down.
Jill took a swig of the bottle she'd confiscated, and in the time it took her to take a drink, Milly had put her sister in a headlock.
"ADMIT THE DUB WAS SHIT. FUCKING ADMIT IT!"
Lilly gasped for air, managing to croak out a quiet "Fuck you"
Somehow, Jill managed to pry the taller woman off her sister, Lilly sitting on the edge of the bed as far away from Milly as she could. "How about we play some games, huh?" She smiled awkwardly and looked between the two still very bitter women. "I got Wimple 2."
"....I've never played it" Milly said quietly, still obviously somewhat upset.
"It's pretty good." Lilly piped up. "The graphics are pretty stylized so they aged alright"
Jill sighed with relief as she got the game booted up, Jill sitting in the middle as Milly and Lilly threw in their two cents on what she should do and occasionally do silly character voices, cracking eachother up with shitty jokes and made-up dialoge.
It was around one in the morning, Lilly had long since fallen asleep cuddling the empty wine bottle. Milly was barely hanging on, propped up on her elbows as she watched Jill find a save point. Jill turned the game off and set the controller on the floor, looking over at her sleeping sister n chuckling.
"Stupid nerd," She said, grabbing a throw blanket off the ground and tossing it on her sister. She looked over at Milly, seeing her eyes closed as her head was starting to droop. Jill carefully got up, trying not to disturb either girl. She grabbed another blanket and Milly's pillow, managing to ever so stealthily slip the pillow under milly's head before it fell out of her hands, and throwing the blanket over all three of them.
Jill rolled over onto her side and got comfortable, mumbling her goodnights to her two bedmates.
Jill woke up in the early hours of the morning, light coming in through the curtains nearby and lighting up the room somewhat. Jill, her sister, and Milly, had managed to get all tangled up together in the night, Lilly cuddling Jill and Milly having all her limbs awkwardly wrapped around the two of them.
"Hey...you awake...?" Milly groggily mumbled into Jill's back, lifting her head abit and retracting her limbs awkwardly. Jill remained still and silent, mostly out of fear. "hm..guess not..." She sat up, ruffling her hair and grumbling about being stiff and still tired.
Jill pretended to just then wake up, yawning theatrically and stretching. Lilly ended up woken up in the process. "Oh, mornin' sis."
"Bout time, dickheads," Milly hissed. "I'm hungry as shit. What's for breakfast?"
"Fuck if I know," Lilly grumbled. "Usually we don't get up til like...noon..." She squinted through the sunlight. "what time is it?"
"like...nine I think?" Jill looked at the alarm clock on the side table. about 8:42. close enough.
"So, you're just gonna let me fuckin' starve? is that it?"
"Jeez, fine boss." Lilly rolled her eyes, getting up off the bed and going to her pile of undone laundry, grabbing some clothes off the top. "We'll go get doughnuts or somethin'. Our treat."
"It better be. No way in hell I'm gonna pay when I'm the damn guest." She frowned, going to go get dressed.
Soon enough they'd gotten dressed and went to go hold up the nearest seller of doughnuts, Milly threatening the store owner who was woefully used to how things worked in the garden.
After breakfast and shooting the shit talking about last night, they ended up heading their separate ways again. Milly was off to set up a trap for her least favorite degenerate, and the twins were off to cause some mischief in Roke.
Milly ended up making it a habit of showing up at their place late at night to stay over, even if they hadn't agreed.
They had games she liked and anime she wanted to watch, so of course she's gonna take advantage of that.
She totally wasn't going back and hanging out with them because she LIKED them.
absolutely proposterous.

Why Michael B. Jordan Is Our Best-Dressed Man In The World 2018
Maybe it’s the footwork training he did for Creed II, but our best-dressed man of 2018, Michael B. Jordan, rarely makes a style misstep. Every move is a simple one-two, a defensive pair of black jeans followed by an uppercut of a sweater. A knock-out double-breasted suit grounded by a crisp white shirt underneath.
You could argue that he’s a safe choice. In a year of stunting scumbros and a smirking Jeff Goldblum, Jordan is certainly less flamboyant and less trend-obsessed. But if you think his style is pedestrian, you’re not looking closely enough.
This is a man who ducks and weaves around the craziest fashion trends, only sparring with the ones that count. He’ll take on statement trend pieces like streetwear-tinged knits or grunge-influenced outerwear, but he’ll wear them in a rotation that also includes a classic overcoat, some Chelsea boots or some trusty Wayfarers. The staples that have served him (and all men) well for years.
For the average guy wondering how to balance flash-in-the-pan fashion with everlasting style, Michael B. Jordan is a walking masterpiece. He sticks to the rules of menswear but throws in touches of his own so that he never looks like another Instagram drone.
Here we deconstruct the Michael B. Jordan look, with seven staples that will look great on any guy.
1. The Statement Sweater
Not all heroes wear capes. The Black Panther star’s own secret weapon is a trusty arsenal of punchy sweaters with eye-catching prints. (No wonder they like him over at Coach.) The pattern draws attention to his ring-ready upper body while the silhouette hugs rather than squeezes Jordan’s frame. The dimensions are always spot on – hemmed at the waist with sleeves reaching the wrist. Why go oversized when regular fits work this well?
And don’t try and fight the statement sweater. Jordan rarely wears an overcoat over his, while the bottom half balances out the colour and pattern with a pair of slim black jeans and Chelsea boots.
2. The Unstuffy Suit
One big difference between American tailoring and that in the UK is in the shoulders. Us Brits are big padders, the yanks less so, their tailoring more likely to follow the Italian tradition of less is more when it comes to structure. This suits well-built men like Jordan. The rounded, sloping shoulders keep his upper body in proportion and prevent him from looking like a Lego man, even when he’s in black tie. He’ll also play with tradition by incorporating some unexpected accessories, or by picking up a defiantly different suit, like this rogue pinstripe number.
3. Plaid Outerwear
Plaid is the perfect pattern for streetwear-inspired looks. It’s eye-catching, just like the best Instagram-popping street style, but it’s also extremely casual with a tradition in grunge and outdoorsy American workwear. Streetwear in itself is meant to be an attack against the buttoned-up culture that still remains in the other half of menswear so in this respect, it works well.
In general, plaid is pretty low risk. Wear loose like Jordan though and with a dark, simple outfit underneath so nothing is fighting against those checks.
4. The Real Deal DB
The double-breasted suit is very much back in fashion, owing to a resurgent interest in 80s boxy tailoring. It’s a mighty thing. Six buttons usually, eight if you’re really pushing the boat out, rising up in unison to a peak lapel that gives you a V-shaped upper body whether you’re built like a boxer or not.
Jordan wears his more buttoned-up than the current catwalk waifs. The lapels are short and tight keeping the look elegant and restrained while pleated trousers give the outfit some welcome flair. Then comes a sprinkle of panache in a pair of heavily decorated loafers or shiny gold buttons so it’s not too Wall Street stiff.
5. A Classic Overcoat
It’s a winter staple that can turn you into a heart-throb overnight (just ask Benedict Cumberbatch) but classic doesn’t have to mean boring. Jordan knows that his top layer is the one everyone will see first so he goes for an eye-catching one. Contrast collars, checks, rich tonal palettes are all in the mix and he’ll also wear them down to the knees for extra impact (and insulation, presumably). An old-school military fit will outline your proportions and a strong, angular lapel gives a flattering silhouette through the body. There’s a good case for making your overcoat the biggest investment in your wardrobe.
6. Staple Black Jeans
Clothes are not meant to encase your body like sausage meat in casing. Sure, it’s a menswear basic but it’s one so many guys often get so wrong, especially in the trouser department. Jordan has a liking for slim fitting black jeans, using them to great effect in balancing out a colourful top-half, but they never shrink-wrap towards the skinny side.
If you pinch the side of your jeans you want to grab a fingertip of fabric. This is how you’ll know they are neither too baggy nor too tight. Once you have the perfect jean down it makes sense to buy four or five of the same pair to use in an easy rotation.
7. The Haymaker Bomber
If there are still any contenders left in the ring for Jordan’s best-dressed crown then they had better prepare themselves for the champ’s knockout punch, the bomber jacket.
This menswear classic is flattering for all types, but especially the gym bunnies, with the cinch at the waist only serving to highlight the bulk. Dark neutral colours are failsafe, while it’s smart, sharply cut lines also make it an able alternative for a blazer and worn beside a shirt – a look Jordan pulls off ably on the red carpet.

Son Goku // Kakarot
Age: 43 (Main verse, accounts for lost years in Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Goku’s physical age places him somewhere in his mid-30s)(Saiyans retain a physical prime for much longer than humans so Goku can easily be mistook for a person in his late 20s)(As of Age 780) Aliases: Gokawah (Mispronunciation by The World Tournament Announcer), Kong Date of Birth: April 16 Place of Birth: Birthing Facility 4, Vegetopolis, Planet Vegeta Species: Saiyan
Universe Inspiration: Manga/DBS Anime-Inspired Composite Goku (may have traits from GT and Xenoverse games occasionally)
Appearance Goku is an adult of above average height (175 cm/5′9″), with dark hair and eyes. His expression is generally friendly and amicable. Goku’s eyes are often compared to other saiyans for usually being softer, and more rounded, only growing narrow and intense during moments of emotional heat. When going super saiyan, Goku’s eyes take on a tealish-green color.
Like all saiyans, Goku’s hair is notably distinct, having a wild shape to it, being composed of larger spikes, having a windswept appearance almost permanently. Another hallmark attribute of his species is the fact that Goku’s hair largely maintains its characteristics as he ages, not being disproportionate at any age, negating his need to cut hair, and keeping its shape non-rigidly, making other styles almost impossible. When his hair IS shortened unduly, either in part or as a whole, it will grow back to its natural state like typical hair.
As a child Goku was very short and stocky, so much so that through his adolescence he was often mistook for a child of under ten, but after experiencing several significant growth spurts that are consistent among full-blooded saiyans, Goku’s build became more slim, still having muscle built from practicing martial arts and strength training. Upon taking on more intense training, for a time, Goku became notably bulkier, though this has receded as Goku’s refocused on more technical training, and endurance-based tests, as his body has seemed to acclimate to the intense conditions that he developed his herculean strength under. When transforming into higher levels of super saiyan, Goku’s muscles shore in size once more.
When charging his chi, Goku’s aura is largely colorless, not taking on any particular visual element besides the direct results of his energy manifestation. However, upon transforming, Goku’s aura often changes according to the transformation at-hand. It’s implied that he has conscious control over the color of his aura in this way. When using Super Saiyan at any level, his aura takes on a yellow-gold color, growing darker with each subsequent form, until 4 where it becomes pink-red. After becoming a Super Saiyan God his chi becomes a fiery red. Once he’s learned how to pressurize his chi and use it like a GoD, Goku’s energy often has a light lining of white at the edges, this may be a subconscious result of the way he’s utilizing his energy. When using Super Saiyan Blue, Goku’s chi becomes intensely blue. At any time that he uses Kaioken, Goku’s aura becomes so powerful that even his body appears to be the same deep crimson as his aura.
Goku usually dresses comfortably, often favoring a gi, with trousers, a pair of boots in which he’s tucked the legs of his gi, wristbands, and underclothing. Most commonly, Goku wears a gi that’s orange in color, although from time to time he changes to a blue outfit instead. When not wearing martial arts clothing, Goku will favor simple farming clothes, including a favorite leather jacket with a fur lining, or a jumpsuit for training, on occasion.
Personality Laid-back and friendly, Son Goku is a personable individual who makes friends easily. With an eager desire to see new things, and fight strong opponents, he is a wandering soul, often confused for a flake, or a deadbeat by others who hold certain expectations for people to contribute to society in typical ways. This drive to experience often leads Goku to leave with little notice, for long stretches of time, to have adventures. Coupled with having only had passing relationships as a youth, Goku often doesn’t invest a great amount of time with his loved ones, having not even seen his closest friend for nearly half a decade following the final battle with Piccolo.
With a drive to grow stronger, and test that strength, Goku often wishes to spend the majority of his time training. It seems that Goku is at his happiest then, or when he’s utilizing the fruits of his labors against a powerful opponent. It’s easy for the saiyan to grow excitable at the mere mention that an individual may be strong. In the past, Goku has proven to be selfish in this pursuit as well. Disregarding the safety of others, or the very consequences of his battles, he will often endanger nearly anyone to have a chance at an opponent.
Like all saiyans, Goku has a powerful love of food, with a voracious appetite that demands to be sated. If his hunger goes unsatisfied for too long, Goku’s even been known to become physically weak or ill. This informs his marriage to Chi-Chi who, being a highly proficient chef, rarely has a hard time keeping Goku happy for long with her cooking.
Biography (I’ll be real? A bio for Son Goku would be VERY lengthy even to include non-filler content, as the three main series installments themselves had quite a bit of length as well. In the interest of saving time, after having only managed to finish Dragon Ball, this bio was shaping up to be WAY too long for anyone to bother to read. In the interest of saving time, if you individually do not know what happened in Goku’s life, please refer to his article on the wiki.)
Skills, Abilities, and Powers -Superhuman Physical State: As a saiyan, Goku’s physical abilities naturally exceed that of a regular human adult, even as a child. While still twelve years-old Goku was shot with a handgun at fairly close range, with only a stinging pain for his trouble. In the same scene, he had lifted an automobile with some strain, and threw it onto its side. Over the course of the series, Goku continues to perform similar and more impressive feats of physicality, eventually scaling into a degree of immeasurability during Dragon Ball Super, having nearly matched the forces of Lord Beerus’s punches, creating tsunami-like shockwaves that grew stronger the further they traveled from their origin, becoming so destructive that if the two met again in a similar sort of bout, that very universe would fall apart. As Dragon Ball as a whole doesn’t often get hung up on specific measurements, or even concretely establishing WHAT the upper-limits of its characters are, it’s simply better to understand how Goku’s physicality stacks up in his own universe, relative to others of a similar nature. Goku is a generally balanced fighter, not placing a particular emphasis on strength, durability, or speed, at least over each other. He understands the necessity of all three, and the importance they play in any fight, and while he’s able to modulate them through his chi, Goku often seems to boost them all fairly equally, although I’m inclined to say if any, he favors durability and quickness slightly more than raw attacking power. If given 15 points, Goku would spread as-follows: Power: 4 Speed: 6 Durability: 5
-Superhuman Senses: Goku is able to perceive, and react, to things much more quickly and acutely than a normal human. This seems to be somewhat a result of his being a saiyan, but has been further honed through martial arts and chi training. Additionally, Goku has a very sensitive sense of smell, being able to smell food from far distances.
-Martial Arts Master: Goku is considered a master of martial arts, having developed a formless, improvisational, style that was largely influenced by Toriyama’s love of Jackie Chan films. As a child, Goku was taught a type of kung-fu that focused on function over form, using his small size against opponents in order to dodge his adult opponent’s attacks, while applying leverage to compensate for his size, despite a lack of need for this. Beyond this, Goku would have several teachers, Roshi would teach him the importance of his physical conditioning and mental sharpness/intelligence; Korin would teach Goku how to predict and anticipate the movements of others; Kami and Popo would focus on training Goku’s abilities with Chi, as well as helping him learn how to fight as an adult; and King Kai would further cement Goku’s need for conditioning, helping him master his speed, and ultimately his ability to use chi masterfully. In terms of overall style, Goku doesn’t have a firm one, but favors smooth and fluid motions, with a significant amount of counter-attacking and interception. While some might perceive Goku’s style to be simple and more akin to brawling, but this is simply due to Goku favoring economic movement, and strategy, both of which are more difficult to execute when focusing on maintaining a style, rather than simply fighting.
-Combat Genius: Due to a natural proclivity towards combat that Goku is possessed of, exceeding even that of more powerful saiyans, he is able to prepare effective strategies in the heat of battle. He has often used this to defeat foes who he would normally not be able to defeat. Additionally, repeated use of tactics don’t seem to work on Goku, as he can adapt to them, exploiting repetitive fighters.
-Technique Mimicry: Despite his relative weakness when compared to other saiyans, Goku is a natural knack for replicating the techniques of others. Needing to only seen most techniques performed once, be they physical or chi-based, Goku can replicate them effectively. He has even mimicked Berrus’s Hakai, although to a weaker degree. Goku cannot perfectly replicate complex or overly-powerful chi techniques, needing time and training to even master the Kamehameha.
-Chi Manipulation and Generation: A metaphysical energy that embodies life itself, mystical in nature but not strictly magic, Chi is influenced by many factor, both mental, physical, and spiritual. Saiyans have the inborn ability to manipulate their chi, allowing Goku to harness it into orbs of plasma, to then fire and create explosions, despite only seeing the kamehameha performed once. Chi is able to be used in a variety of functions, such as flight, blasts of energy, sabotage the chi and energy-based attacks of others, and enhancing physical attributes. The latter is something Goku does often, but must be aware in order to do so. Goku has been caught off-guard by relatively weak attacks, when not using his chi, so that he’d suffer injury. The depth of Goku’s chi-based abilities is currently unknown, but he has managed to manifest numerous physical and mental abilities through it. He has long-since passed the power of beings who could destroy planets many times larger than Earth without effort, and has managed to dwarf that of an individual who was said to be able to destroy an entire solar system with his full power. In truth, the only limitation to Goku’s abilities with chi does seem to be that he cannot exert more energy at once than he himself can sustain, as the force of his attacks never push or move him unless he allows it to. In the event that Goku does push himself too far, tax his chi too much, or otherwise uses his power too recklessly, Goku’s chi use can have consequences.
-Ultra Instinct: A state of being that is present in real-world martial arts, Ultra Instinct allows its user to react to their foes, attacking and defending without thought, in the most effective way possible. This state enhances his physical and mental abilities as well, akin to that of a transformation. Ultra Instinct is only accessible to Goku when he’s in a sufficiently dangerous situation, being unable to use it at-will, not making it a reliable technique. Goku once achieved a mastered state that allowed him to bridge the seemingly-impossible gap between himself and Jiren, a being who was more powerful than even the Gods of Destruction.
Chi-Based Abilities and Techniques: -Flight -Chi Sensing -Chi Transferal -Godly Chi Mastery -Regeneration -Energy Nullification -Telepathy -Chi Blasts --Finger Beams --Chi Waves -Kamehameha --Continuous Kamehameha (A variation which involves Goku firing multiple Kamehameha blasts from each hand) --Bending Kamehameha (A Kamehameha variation which more easily changes course) --Flying Kamehameha (A utilization of Kamehameha that Goku uses to fly through the air) --Twin Dragon Shot (A manipulated, spherical, version of the Kamehameha. Requires fine control) --MAX Power Kamehameha (A version of the Kamehameha in which Goku uses the full version of the technique. Produces the most power of a base form Kamehameha, but requires too much time to execute correctly) --Super Kamehameha (An advanced version of the Kamehameha, inefficient) --Kaio-Ken Kamehameha (A Kamehameha influenced by the multiplied Chi of Goku’s Kaio-ken) --Instant Kamehameha (A version of any Kamehameha fired directly following a use of his Instant Transmission) --True Kamehameha (An even stronger variation of Super Kamehameha, even less efficient, requires Goku to be in Super Saiyan 3 to use effectively) --Limitbreaker Kamehameha (A variation of Super Kamehameha that Goku uses during his Super Saiyan God form) ---Limit Break x10 Kamehameha (A variation of the Limitbreaker Kamehameha which Goku can fire in his Super Saiyan 4 transformation) --God Kamehameha (The base Kamehameha fired with godly power, during any Godly transformation. Individually as powerful as any Super Kamehameha, but as efficient as the base technique) ---10x God Kamehameha (A variation of the God Kamehameha that is roughly ten times stronger than the original. Can only be used is Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken or stronger forms) ---Transcendent God Kamehameha (A variation of the Super Kamehameha fired in a godly form, is extremely potent) --Final Kamehameha (A combined technique between Goku’s Kamehameha and Vegeta’s Final Flash) --Imperfect Instinct Kamehameha (A variant of the kamehameha that is fired in any of the incomplete versions of Goku’s Ultra Instinct technique. The output is greater than a standard God Kamehameha) ---Supreme Kamehameha (An enhanced version of the Imperial Instinct Kamehameha used during Goku’s perfected Ultra Instinct) ---Ultimate Instinct Kamehameha (The Super Kamehameha fired in Goku’s Perfected Ultra Instinct form. The strongest variant of the technique) --Kamehameha Blaster (A variant of the Kamehameha that is followed with a series of smaller blasts) --10x Kamehameha (A variation of Kamehameha that requires more charging, but takes on a red color, and is ten times as strong as the base technique) --Dimension Breaker (A Kamehameha that rips through dimensional barriers) -Kiai --Spirit Shot --Invisible Eye Blast --Soaring Fist -Destructo Disc --Destructo Disc Hexa Blast -Explosive Wave --Super Explosive Wave -Spirit Bomb --Fusion Spirit Bomb --Large Spirit Bomb --Instant Spirit Bomb --Super Spirit Bomb --Universe 7′s Spirit Bomb -Hakai (Goku’s version of the GoD’s Destructive technique. Goku must put all of his SSB aura into a single attack. This attack leaves him fully drained after use) -Evil Containment Wave -Energy Barrier --Super Guard (Xenoverse 2) --Vanisher Guard (Xenoverse 2) -Chi Landmine -God Bind -Solar Flare -Fusion Dance -Black Power Ball (Xenoverse 2) -Black Kamehameha (Xenoverse 2) -Azure Dragon Sword: model Energy Blade (Xenoverse 2) -Divine Lasso (Xenoverse 2) -Evil Eyes (Xenoverse 2) -Oozaru --Golden Oozaru (A use of Super Saiyan while in his Oozaru form) ---Super Saiyan 4 (A Super Saiyan transformation that ascends through Oozaru. Its strength relative to the other forms, but is presumably at least 10x stronger than Super Saiyan 3) ----Super Full Power Saiyan 4 (By absorbing extremely large amounts of power from other saiyans, Super Saiyan 4 is enhanced further) -Kaio-ken (A technique that multiplies Goku’s Chi for a “heart beat”. His power and speed are multiplied by two at base, but can be enhanced further, and maintained for longer. The greater the multiplier, or time that the technique is used, the more backlash Goku will suffer) -Super Saiyan (An ancient prophecy personified, this transformation increases Goku’s chi by roughly 50x. This form also enhances his physical attributes similarly. If used without mastery, Goku begins to lose his composure and actively has to keep himself from losing control) --Spirit Bomb Super Saiyan (By absorbing his Spirit Bomb, Goku is able to enhance his Super Saiyan form briefly) --Super Saiyan Second Grade (An enhancement of the base Super Saiyan form, Goku’s speed and strength are further enhanced through the stimulation of his nervous system by his chi. Is much faster and stronger than base Super Saiyan, but tires more quickly) ---Super Saiyan Third Grade (A further advanced version of Second Grade. The body no longer inhibits itself, acting at full power, at 100% strength and stamina. This form makes Goku slower, and drains his body’s energy drastically) --Super Saiyan Full Power (A mastered, most efficient, version of the Super Saiyan form) --Super Kaio-ken (Super Saiyan with the Kaio-ken multiplier used on top of it. Dangerous to use for extended periods) --Super Saiyan 2 (The “Fourth Grade” of Super Saiyan. A breaking of the base Super Saiyan form’s limit, enhanced 2x from the Super Saiyan form [100x the user’s base form]. Does not suffer from the Second Grade or Third Grade weaknesses. It grows difficult to control oneself while using this form) ---Super Saiyan: Berserk (A version of Super Saiyan 2 that takes advantage of its lessened inhibitions. This form is corrupted by outside chi) --Super Saiyan 3 (The “Fifth Grade” of Super Saiyan. A further more powerful form of Super Saiyan 2, its hair grows longer, and the user’s eyebrows seem to disappear. 4x more powerful than Super Saiyan 2 [400x the base user], the user’s inhibitions further decrease. This form’s output is so significant that it puts a large strain on Goku’s body and lifeforce, to the point that it shortened his time on Earth as a spirit) -Super Saiyan God (Goku’s base form enhanced by the power of five other saiyans, stronger than any of his previous Super Saiyan forms, this transformation is accessible to him, and allows Goku to easily access Godly Chi) --Godly Saiyan (Goku using his chi efficiently, with pressure, to use Godly Chi without using Super Saiyan God) --Super Saiyan Blue (A form of Super Saiyan God in which Goku activates his Super Saiyan form while possessing Godly Chi) ---Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken (Variations of Super Saiyan Blue in which Kaio-ken is multiplying Goku’s power. At maximum, Goku can manage x20) ---Perfected Super Saiyan Blue (Similar to Perfected Super Saiyan, a version of SSB that doesn’t drain Goku’s reserves at all, unless he’s in combat) --God-to-Blue Switch (An efficient use of Goku’s Godly forms, Goku rapidly switches between SSG and SSB so as to use SSB at its fullest power, without draining his reserves as quickly) -Ultra Instinct -Sign- --Ultra Instinct

How to Pair Brown and Blue
In my opinion, one of the most underrated combinations in menswear is brown and blue. Just think about it for a second, there are a lot of blue suits and navy suits out there, lots of brown shoes and different elements but often, people don’t wear them together.
So today, I talk about why it’s a good idea to pair brown with blue, I discuss certain basic accessories that you should have in your wardrobe, and also I provide a little bit of inspiration about how you can combine them without limiting yourself.
Why Do Brown & Blue Look Great Together?
Basically, blue and orange are in the opposite side of the color wheel meaning they’re a complementary contrast color, because of that, they naturally work well together and are pleasing to the eye. Brown is such a great color because it is a neutral shade and depending on if you get a dark chocolate brown, medium brown, light brown, or maybe a pastel brown, it really works for 99% of men out there. The same is true for blue, if you look at the shade of navy, medium blue, royal blue, or light blue, there’s one shade of blue that works for any kind of man out there.
On the other hand, if you have dark skin, going with high contrast items such as maybe a navy suit with a white shirt and tan brown shoes go really well together. If you have a medium skin tone, you can avoid the high contrast of black and white as well as the extreme pales of maybe light blue with light gray. Otherwise, you can have a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt and a brown grenadine tie. Another great aspect of brown is that it brings down the formality of blue and makes it more casual.
HAVE YOU WATCHED THIS VIDEO YET?
In this day and age, where even classic outfits are getting increasingly more casual, brown and blue are your best friends. Brown also increases the versatility of blue so just think about your navy dark business suit that you can wear with a white shirt and your black oxfords but you can also just take the jacket of the suit to pair it with some khakis, some brown suede boots, and a brown knit tie, and it has a very different feel and it’s suited for different occasions. So that way, with those colors, you get more wear out of your wardrobe and you don’t have to invest as much.
If you think about it, there are lots of shades of blue and brown. Because of that, it’s very easy to always create a certain element of contrast that works well with your skin tone and looks pleasing to the eye. So as long as you avoid the extremes such as a navy suit with a really dark chocolate brown color, you’re good and you’ll always find the appropriate contrast. For the same reason, no matter if you have a light, medium, or dark skin tone, you can find a combination of brown and blue that works for you.
Classic Brown & Blue Wardrobe Staples

1. The Navy Suit
Whether it’s single-breasted or double-breasted, it is a great companion and should always be in every man’s wardrobe.

2. Navy Blazer
The navy blazer is a definite must-have in your closet because of its versatility.
3. Navy Grenadine Tie
It’s not made out of a hundred percent silk but it has a really pleasing texture that’s a little more matte and interesting than most shiny blue ties you can buy in the market today. It can be worn formally with navy suit or with tweed jackets.
4. Light Blue Dress Shirt
It can either be with button cuffs or with French cuffs. That being said, light blue comes probably comes in 150 different shades for shirts and so you can find exactly the right one for your needs.
Navy slim fit chinos offer a depth that light khakis don’t
5. Navy Chinos
Personally, I’m also a big fan of navy chinos.

6. Blue Pocket Square
Every man should have a blue pocket square because it complements well with a navy suit but you can also have other blue elements.

7. Blue Socks
Another good blue item to have in your wardrobe is a pair of shadow striped navy and dark blue socks. Why? Because you can really pair them with any kind of blue or navy pants, they will always look professional, will always look good, at the same time, it’s not your typical run-of-the-mill solid navy socks.

8. Brown Suit
In terms of the color brown, probably the most underrated item in a man’s wardrobe is a brown suit. Most men don’t think they have to invest in a brown suit, personally, I think every gentleman’s wardrobe should contain a brown suit because it can be dressed down or up. For example, if you go with a charcoal brown suit, it’s business appropriate yet it’s not as formal as maybe a dark gray suit when you go somewhere after work. If you get a light brown suit, it’s the perfect weekend suit or casual suit when you want to look dapper yet be distinctly different from your business wardrobe. Best of all, you can wear the slacks as well as the jacket individually with different combinations so you really get a lot of wear out of this brown suit.
9. Brown Tweed Jacket
Obviously, there are so many shades of brown but having at least one tweed jacket is perfect because it’s a wonderful fall-winter garment, it’s a classic staple!
10. Brown Grenadine Tie
One of my favorites is this solid brown grenadine tie. It’s really easy to combine, you can wear it with tweed or with a business suit or with a business casual outfit and it will always look timeless, appropriate, and never out of place.

11. Brown Shoes & Boots
The Honestly, there are so many shades of brown and you can have dark browns, reddish browns, medium browns, or light pale browns, and if you want to see all the brown shoes that I have in my collection, check out this video here.

12. Brown Pocket Square
Last but not least, I think a brown pocket square can really help to tone down an otherwise formal business suit but it also works with summery linen jackets as well as tweed jackets. If you want to get the biggest bang for your buck, make sure you have different textures for example, on the one hand, you could get a silk pocket square with blue paisleys just like the one I’m wearing here right now, and then you could combine it with a more casual pocket square in linen that is very pale brown with a light blue X stitch.
Interesting Brown & Blue Combos
A blue suit with a brown tie and a pocket square that picks up the tones of blue and brown. Of course, you can also wear brown shoes with it but the rest of it can really vary. You can add maybe a boutonniere in light blue or not at all. Maybe you could add a third color to the outfit, it all depends on your heart’s content but this combination will always work. Of course, instead of a suit, you can wear a pair of white winter flannels, maybe a pair of khakis, but stay away from navy chinos because they may be too close in color, there’s not enough contrast and would just look weird. That being said, you could also wear gray flannels or medium gray sharkskin pants, whatever works. Having that blue element in there allows you to do a lot of things. 50 years ago, some people will be nervous to wear a navy business suit with brown shoes. In this day and age, there’s nothing normal than that and if you go to Italy, you probably see very few well-dressed men wearing black shoes with a navy suit. They’ll probably always choose one shade of brown, could be lighter, it can be darker, but it’s just their favorite color.
Brown Jacket with Light Blue Shirt & Blue Red Striped Bow Tie
A darker brown or a medium brown suit with a light blue shirt. It can be solid or it can have a subtle pattern and then add either a blue tie or a brown tie. It’s very calming and interestingly, you can put together entire outfits that consist of nothing but brown and blue yet they won’t scream “Look at me! I just combined two colors” as if you would combine maybe red and blue or white and blue.

Blue denim with brown shoes. I think you should never wear denim with black shoes because it’s simply too hard of a contrast between the formal black color and the traditional denim workwear.

updated sketch for Dragonball PR by BooRat
I want a picture of PackRat with Angelik , Ella Diabla /PR-R63 , Bradley, Dru-Scylla, Chesh , Scorpia , and Cancer all together like a movie poster or a team pose like the Ginyu Force did, but not as flamboyant since this team is at least more than 50% made up of females! The exact position of each character I've not decided on yet. I don't want it to be based on a preexisting one from the show or movies. I do want it to showcase all the characters as much as possible with as little of them being overlapped and hiding parts of one another. Now, on to the new character designs. Since these are my characters set in the DBZ-universe or a variant of it they're designs will be changed somewhat to fit in more with the Akira Toriyama art style. 1.) PackRat, I kind of want 2 different versions of him. In the DBZ universe there are lots of characters with more than 1 form. Normally a base or calm form and then a powered up full strength battle form. Sometimes even 4-5 forms but I'm going to keep it simple of just the 2. Starting form he is lien built a lot like Frieza's Final Form when he 1st transforms into that form or more like Imperfect Cell's build. He's wearing a full head covering helmet/mask like a mix of Gohan's Great Saiyaman helmet but minus the visor and with a mouth guard/shield something like what Cooler has in his final from and Cunber's. He is wearing a wrecked up and broken old suit of Saiyan Armor the kind seen on Cooler's Armored Squadron with the single shoulder pad on the left side. He's got the collar of a God of Destruction uniform around his shoulders. There's a large hole in the middle of the armor exposing PR's chest symbol with his portal generator. He still has his harness with his swords and shield across his chest. His cyborg left arm is just like Mecha-Frieza's but with PR's signature 6th finger . Here's the biggest new change to PR is his right arm is based on Perfect Cell's organic armored arm design with the shoulder horn/spike of Porunga, but with only 4 digits on the hand which will be covered in his calm state with Saiyan Armor gloves but in his traditional colors. He is wearing a pair of God of Destruction pants/bottoms with the sash. With the Majin belt buckle! His boots are a lot like the Angel'sbut with PR's colors. Finally for PR's tail it'll be like Frieza's in his 2nd Form but with out the stripe/lines running the length of it. Now for PR's final form design he gains a lot of mass and muscle and he bulks up to be roughly the same build as Broly but his body is hairy now like a Super Saiyan 4 but green and all. Because of his head getting bigger his Helmet is now gone but his humanoid face is gone and is replaced with a more animal like rat face like Quitela. but with whiskers like Shenron's and lots of piercings. He hair his also a lot like a Super Saiyan 3'ssame color even. He's got an Angel's halo around his neck. Also because of the transformation his gloves are gone and we see his bare right hand. and his knuckles are spiked like Xicor His boots too are now gone and we see his bare feet are a lot like Frieza's race's feet or a Great Ape's feet but with long talons. PR's wings are still part of his feet as well. 2.) Angelik, she for the most part will remain unchanged just a basic translation into the DBZ art style. Her design will mostly be built on a Saiyan female like Gine with her cat tail wrapped around her waist and the armor on over her Angel uniform. Her angelic wings will be like Angel Goku's. Her face will be like a normal human's but with a small cat nose. She'll also keep her halo even though she isn't dead as per what it means in the anime/manga. She i also wearing her collar and bell. 3.)Ella Diabla/PR-R63,she'll have a slightly more toned build than Angelik with it being based more on Fasha's build. Since her physical form is just a female counter part to PR her features will be reminiscent of his such as his tail, winged ankles, hand-like feet, rodent-like ears, and in this universe both her arms will have the exoskeleton design of Cell's just like PR's right arm. Now she sorta has a 2nd form but it's a shadow/demon form she projects from her body as a mental attack and it looks like Kale with large bat-like wings like those of Tambourine. As for her clothing in her physical form she's dress in a costume similar to Android 21. Her demon form wears only a body hugging suit a lot like the one Towawares. As for her face both forms have the same facial feature as one another the only difference is her physical form has PR's logo painted/tattoo over it. Her hair style should be the same in both forms and based on Videl'spigtails. 4.) Bradley's a smaller built character with a height and build like Chiaotzu. His skin texture and head should be more like Bibbidi or Bobbidi. He should have horns like Captain Ginyuand the head veins too for good measure. His ears should be like Piccolo's but with earrings. His clothing should be more like Android 19's or Dr. Kyuuas he is PR's science officer/mechanic/doctor. The big thing I want is both his feet are missing with only a tiny bit bone showing out of the stumps like a piece of roasted meat. He gets around by hovering around with his Ki a lot like most smaller characters in DBZ. 5.) Chesh, he is an odd case for this group. His body type is effeminate but he is male so might base his body shape on Bullaas she appeared in GT. Like Angelik he should have ears like or Puar'sor Beerus. His horns should be like Chilled's. As for his goat-like legs Yakon is the only ref. Chesh's 2 tails will be like the Saiyan's tails but he won't wrap them around himself like they do or like Angelik. His costume will be again like Chirai's Saiyan Armor. His over all though appearance and posing will be based more around Schrodingerfrom Hellsing style. 6 and 7.) Scorpia and Cancer these 2 are going to sort of count as one for this list. They're both cyborgs with their machine parts resembling Cacao's and Mecha-Frieza/Coola's. Their torsos are compose like Android 16's but of coarse female. The only differences between the 2 are Scorpia is taller than Cancer (similar to how Goku is taller than Krillin), Scorpia has 4 arms (she ha her 2 normal human arms mounted on her ribs just blow her breast level and mounted where her normal arms should be are 2 larger machine arms like Dr. Wheelo's) where as Cancer only has 2 (with only her left arm being like Wheelo's ), Scorpia has her normal legs except for her left foot which is mechanical and Cancer's whole left leg is mechanical and looks just like her left arm , Scorpia's color scheme being orange and Cancer's is red, Scorpia has a large tail like Mecha-Frieza's and Cancer doesn't have one at all, Scorpia has short cropped hair like Vegeta in GTand Cancer has longer hair like Bad Launch in DB, and finally Scorpia has a mostly machine face like Meta-Cooler (aka the Big Gete Star Core) while Cancer has a normal head with just an eye patch over her left eye. 8.) Dru-Scylla, The head is a hybrid mixture of a Hammerhead Shark's and Monster Shark. With a mixture of a boat prop and a drill bit on her nose like the character Slash from Street Sharks. 4 catfish-like whiskers; 2 short ones in the front and 2 extremely long ones in the back: Curly hair that resembles a sea anemone! A torso like the female Turtle: Four muscular arms like King Chappa but with fused fingered flipper hands like the Batman Returns Penguin! Fin-like wings on her back between her arms and her tortoise shell. The legs and feet should be like those's of Namekian Frog(Ginyu)! Between the legs are 2 flippers The 2nd torso on her back is that of a teen girl with mermaid themed features: with a cephalopod for the back of her head after her hairline like the Female Boos! They share a long muscular eel-like tail similar to Porunga's that ends in a sting-ray Their costumes should be Fusion uniform , but minus the pants. The 2nd torso's on her back her uniform is more like Jerez Lastly I'd like to compose the stances/setup/whatever. I'm thinking more the poster setup with PR in the middle hovering off the ground in his calm form using his ankle wings for lift instead of using his Ki. Angelik is standing the closest to him on his right hovering/flying off the ground like she just took off using her wings too. Next closest to PR is Bradley who is using his Ki to hover off of PR's left. Chesh is on the ground below the others in a more cat like pose with a long chain leash lead from his neck to either PR or maybe Ella. Ella's physical form is standing on the ground or is hovering just a few inches off the grounds will her wings and she has her energy(Ki) up and is projecting her demon form out and from her self upwards to join the others in the sky. Ella is also off toward PR's left side with her demon form being closer to Bradley than PR himself. with Ella's form demon form appearing. Scorpia and Cancer are both in the same standing poses with their hands to their hips (Scorpia's human hands are on her hips while her large robot arms are resting at her sides) on opposite sides of PR. In movie poster terms they'd be in the bottom corners more in the back ground than the others. Dru-Scylla is to replace my Ex's character in the reference image! the pose should be more a side angled T&A pose so both torsos are seen! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php… And finally up above them all in the upper sky we see PR's final form in a charging up full on battle stance.I'd like 2 pieces in My Hero Academia(僕のヒーローアカデミア Boku no Hīrō Akademia) art style. 1.) My main OC PackRat. 2.) My Mockmaid sea-creature, Dru-Scylla! Both pieces I want in the style of a character profile sheet! So 3-4 full-body pictures per-character with a few close up head-shots! 1 Full-body front pose in school uniform, 1 Full-body front-angle pose in gym/swimming uniform, 1 Full-body front-angle pose in hero/villain uniform, 1 Full-body back pose in hero/villain uniform, 1 unmasked head-shot, 1 masked head-shot, and 1 emotional head-shot! I got a list of character references and parts I want for each character that I'd like! For Dru-Scylla: The head is a hybrid mixture of a Hammerhead Shark's and the 1st Nomu. with the Nomu's metal lips. With a mixture of a boat prop and a drill bit on her nose like the character Slash from Street Sharks. Sirius's Good Ears: 4 catfish-like whiskers; 2 short ones in the front and 2 extremely long ones in the back that end in earphone jacks: Curly hair that resembles a sea anemone! A torso like the female Ninja Turtle: Four muscular arms like Fourth Kind but with fused fingered flipper hands like the Batman Returns Penguin! Fin-like wings on her back between her arms and her tortoise shell. For this version they should resemble the wings of the High-End Nomu's Shoulder-Mounted Jets: High-End has shoulder-mounted jets which can allow him to hover in the air and fly! The legs and feet should be like those's of Froppy(Tsuyu Asui)! Well, when bare footed her feet here should look just like slightly oversized webbed humanoid feet. Between the legs are 2 flippers en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelvic_f… The 2nd torso on her back is that of a Ganguro-style teen girl with mermaid themed features: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganguro with a cephalopod for the back of her head after her hairline like the Innsmouth siblings! They share a long muscular eel-like tail that ends in a sting-ray that ends in a electric plug stinger: Their profession costumes(hero/villain) should have goggles over the shark eyes that looks like Tsu's a full-body wet-suit like Selkie's , but more revealing like BubbleGirl's with an animal/scaly print pattern like the leggings/boots being more like Tsu's as for the 2nd torso's on her back her uniform is more like Midnight's but with a breathing helmet that looks like's Ochako Uraka's !! Now for PR's design! 1st one of them in their school uniform looking like a combo of Tokoyami and Shoji in that he’s got an animal head and aesthetic with a mouth and nose obscuring mask. He should also be missing his left arm at half way between the elbow and sholder with the sleeve pinned rolled up. 2nd of in the UA Gym uniform showing off more of his unique physiology like his tail , winged ankles , finger-like toes, reptilian right arm which is more muscular and larger, his left arm is a cyborg prosthetic, the light of his chest reactor shining through the fabric of his shirt, ect… Maybe here we can have like his mugshot showing his un-hidden face and he looks like a Nomu mixed with Principal Nezu.3rd one is him in his Hero costume which mostly is his costumes in his reference images above but made to look more like how it’d translate to the BNHA style. His mask is much more stylized like the plague doctors mask worn by Eight Precepts of Death mixed with Toga’s gas mask, he’s hot his top hat, harness, 3 different types of swords on his back, a war-hammer on his belt, a Spartan-style shield on one arm, pouches, a single knee pad, combat boots, ect… Basically he’d gravitate more towards Snipe or Midnight as a mentors over All Might unlike Izuku! His hero costume would have elements of BDSM gear and military gear.
