Content warning for a long rant about how the internet is and generally just me going on and on. And probably getting off topic.

Fandoms are. Well, a mess. I try to stay positive and keep in mind that this is just how people are going to act no matter what, but sometimes it does end up bothering me.

It’s ok if a certain character or ship or whatever makes you uncomfortable. But that does not give you the right to go up to someone, and tell them how bad their likings are. A few certain ships (will not name them) make me uncomfortable but I’m not gonna tell the shippers how bad their ship is or how much I hate it when I have no right to make them feel bad.

I love tawog I do but for fucks sake it’s a Cartoon Network show there’s no reason to fight over which pairing is better. And I KNOW that me ranting and posting this will not magically make the internet a better place, I KNOW. But I’m just tired, yk?

It’s upsetting that the internet is so negative is all. But at the end of the day? It’s just online. It isn’t real life.

Now for a small example, say I don’t like this ship. Does that mean I’ll tag slander with that pairing so people who enjoy it come across that?? Does that mean I make rude comments on artwork?? NO.

I scroll. It’s not a huge deal. Blocking is an option. Muting words is an option.

And I know I’ve talked about this before. I know I keep ranting about stuff like this.

Honestly? There will always be negativity. But I say find your people. Don’t purposefully engage in the negative content cuz that WILL do massive damages to your mental health.

Ignore the negativity. Just be kind man is that so much to ask.
