Wip Intro:

Godhaven

Summary

On an island chain called the Wythian Islands, there is a Pantheon of gods. They have been around for thousands of years, their names coming in and out of use over the centuries. In this fantastical future, a prophecy is told about their pantheon that says there will be a new pantheon created by the sons of Chaos when all three are united. When one of the two living sons crops up on the chain’s southernmost island and challenges the pantheon to achieve godhood, he is granted a place without undergoing his trial. In reality, his position is a lie to deter him and he remains an over-powerful mortal, but not powerful enough so that he is not able to take on the elder gods. After he finds this lie out, he forms the new pantheon with his friends and seeks out his brother to complete the prophecy and get revenge on them for lying to him and being the ones who have been tearing his life apart for nearly 500 years. This revenge, he finds out, leads to his true trial…

Characters

Corvus Nightshade: the god of time and darkness. A son of chaos. About 550 years old. Before his curse, he was a trans & goth guitar player. In his heart, he still is, no matter how deep. His emotions can overtake him more easily than he’d like to admit. In love with the god of Death.

Ulysses Angel: a ghost. A dead son of chaos. Corvus’ twin brother. Permanently 27. He was once a drummer, a long time ago. Involved in the same curse as Corvus, but it traps him on earth as a spirit. The only person who kept Corvus from snapping for 525 years.

Angelo Daysole: the god of space and light. A son of chaos. About 35. Corvus’ half brother. Grew up in the Forest of Life on Southern Raxon, the island chain’s most southern island. His wife Persephone’s number 1 fan. 7’1”. Has wings on his back a majority of the time.

Persephone (Lopez) Daysole: made immortal, but not a god. About 36. Previously a princess, but she ran away to become a huntress and met her husband Angelo on that journey. T4T. Can turn into a wolf at will. Wields one of the most powerful swords ever made, and strikes fear into even the elder gods with her skill. Has an older sibling named Oree, who is the cursed Oracle. Persephone is also very often found around her two closest friends, Aby and Mary.

Kestrel: the god of life. About 3200 years old. Cares deeply for their own being, therefore keeping the being of all around them intact. Classically an elder god, but hates the other three so much that they help Corvus form the new pantheon. One of the best sword fighters on the islands, and would be a rival to Persephone if they had not been her mentor. Wields the sword of life. They protect the forest on southern Raxon, as it was their home when they were mortal.

Fate: the god of death. About 2500 years old. Best friends with Kestrel. Rules over The Depths, an underworld rumored to be at the deepest point in the ocean. Catguy & cat guy. Deeply loves his friends and family and often goes out of his way for them. Has a younger brother named Jones, who is god of the sea and the weather. Both are sons of Pyrra.

Seraphina ‘Sera’ Vidal: the god of the arts and creativity. Unknown age. Runs a theater in a city called Pinetown. Does not fight, but has powerful protection capabilities. Another godly child fed up with her parent. Daughter of Castilla. Sort of in a polycule with Jones and their friend Polli.

The elder gods: Pyrra, god of creation. Castilla, god of love. Chaos, fittingly god of chaos and destruction. Kestrel is also on this list, but they refuse it.
