Just a heads up to new artists who might not know this: tracing people's artwork and posting it as your own is not okay. With or without credit, its stolen if you don't have permission.

This is why I continue to stay out of the Octonauts fandom and now probably will not return. Even months after leaving the fandom I'm still getting new art tracers and thieves.

If you absolutely have to trace and post it, just ask the artist first. If they say no then don't trace their artwork.

i will always advocate for skipping classes btw. to all the high schoolers following me: don't sweat having a perfect attendance record it quite literally does not matter. if anyone tells you good attendance is important for being considered for scholarships they're lying to you. my attendance was fucking abysmal and i was offered several full-ride scholarships because my grades were still solid and that's all 90% of colleges care about.

and besides. taking care of yourself - whether you need a mental health break or you're tired or you just frankly don't want to go to that fucking class - should always take priority! now don't take a page from my book and skip a month and a half's worth of pe classes because you ditched One Time because the coach said he was going to make everyone run a mile that day and then he kept trying to get you to "make up" the mile that you missed so you kinda just stopped showing up until he gave up on you forever like please know that you should go to class regularly BUT.

i think taking time off and leaving early and such needs to be normalized. for school and work. i don't think it's fair to punish people for needing breaks. the human brain is literally not made to sit in the same stifling environments for 8 hours almost every day and just focus on "working" or "studying" and "learning." it's very cruel to deprive young, still developing minds especially of proper breaks and time to Play (not that it's not cruel to do the same to adults)

if the system won't give them to you freely though... well. break the rules a little. you know your limits better than anyone. don't try to work to an impossible standard. rest when you need to!! it's very, very easy to burn yourself out, but it's very, very, very, very difficult to recover from it

Hey, maybe don't encourage people to bully someone and s*-bait them over that terrible game. Be angry, distance yourself, educate people, but don't bully or harass them. It won't solve anything. Of course some people are beyond the point of accepting and being receptive to this stuff, but that doesn't mean you have the perceived right to doxx and harass them. As a Jewish woman, I'm angry about it too. I rant about it, and I understand the urge to yell at others over it, but hurting others only causes more hurt. Encourage others to educate, not to hate.

Alright yeah, you’re right. I’ll admit I was flying off the handle the other day and went too far. I have a pretty severe temper when it comes to people I care about being hurt by unapologetic cowards. That was wrong to encourage harassment. Although I WILL say I said absolutely nothing about doxxing, and I don’t know where you came up with that assumption (discord handles and rp tumblrs aren’t exactly personal information. I know the girls online name and where she likes to hang out online and that’s it). I’ll delete the posts and try to keep my temper in check next time (although hopefully there won’t BE a next time.) My only problem with your message is that from what I’ve seen, there’s really no education to be done. Plenty of people educated that woman. Plenty of friends patiently and calmly explained the situation. It didn’t matter, and it was all taken and twisted to suit her preferences. In my experience, there really isn’t much education to be done concerning this. People already know who is being harmed by this game and the franchise, it’s been shouted to the rooftops. The people buying this know it’s antisemitic, they just weighed their options and decided they didn’t care. There’s no amount of education that will change the minds of people who want to buy the game, because they don’t have their priorities straight, if it doesn’t affect them directly then it can be ignored. Education doesn’t seem like it will change people like this, even to prevent it in the future, because it will always be taken in bad faith no matter how patient and calm we are. But, you’re right, we shouldn’t be chasing people down over it either. All that will do will give these losers more chances to try and make us out to be the bad guys, not that they won’t do that anyway. I’ve just lost my patience for people choosing to ignore any sort of concern for real people to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a shitty, nazi-made and funded game about slavery and blood libel of which the money earned will go directly to attempting genocide on real life people. And I think maybe the people suffering from this deserve to have a little hate, as a treat. Maybe not to the extent that we start harassment campaigns lol, but I think some personal fire is justified. Anyway, point is, I see what you’re saying, and I agree with you that it’s not a good idea to encourage people to start harassing people. (Actual harassing, though. If you’re just telling someone ‘hey you made a choice and now you get the consequence of losing trust and friends man’ that’s not harassing or bullying lol that’s just being reasonable).

- thinks it’s important that he loudly tells you he’s married while you steady him upstairs to bed. points to his ring incessantly, slurs on and on about his perfect wonderful wife with the big ass and soft tummy. you roll your eyes and can’t help but smile when he doesn’t let you hold on to his arm to support him. something about protecting his virtue for his wife, as if you’re not standing right beside him. proceeds to lock you out of your own bedroom when you finally get upstairs, telling you his wife will be home soon so he can’t have a strange woman in their bedroom (but still remarks on your wonderful ass). you decide it’s too early in the morning to persuade your drunk husband to let you in, so you go down to sleep on the couch. you wake up with price sleeping soundly on the floor beside you, having gone to find his wife when she never showed up in his bed the night before.

- gets sappy and apologises for being away. loses all concept of time when he’s drunk, says he’s sorry, he didn’t mean to be away so long, he was thinking of you the whole time, the guys pulled him along and he couldn’t say no. while he’s on his knees at your feet, pressing his face to your thighs and mumbling into your marbled skin, almost making you lose your balance with his fervent apologies, you gently remind him that you were the one who made him go out with the boys because he needed to unwind after a stressful weekend of combat drills, and that he had left with them less than two hours ago. he refuses to hear and only hugs your thighs closer, so much so that you have to support yourself on the wall. turns out all he needed to relax was you.

- is horny. almost starts drooling when he eyes you at the top of the stairs, after struggling to close the entrance door for a good minute, causing you to investigate what made all the noise. gets a wild look in his eyes when he sees you in just his t-shirt and makes you scream and giggle as he chases you back up the stairs and to the bedroom. being absolutely shitfaced, he has the coordination of a tranquillised moose and stumbles head over heels across the floor, catches his foot on the doorway and narrowly misses the edge of the dresser with his head as he falls. still, his little soldier is courageously tenting his pants when you worriedly lean over him and he gets a good look right into the collar of your shirt.

- is emotional and clingy. can’t get enough of you, won’t leave you alone. you can’t make out half his words when he’s had this much to drink (and the mancunian in him breaks out too, making it ever harder to make out the words), but you play along, smile and nod and let him sit on the closed toilet seat and talk and talk while you do your night routine in front of the mirror. so lucky to have you, luv. how could’a lug like me get a pretty one like you, luv. his melancholy statements of love become comfortable background noise for you as you remove your makeup and apply moisturiser. lets you wash the sweat and grime of the day off his face with a washcloth, closes his eyes while you massage your floral-scented moisturiser into his skin, never once stopping his little speech. ambles after you out of the bathroom, holding on to the hem of your shirt, when you’re all finished and ready for bed. his devoted mutters only let up when be falls asleep next to you.

i love that! what other love languages do you have? i'm a words of affirmation and quality time kind of girl myself. but i love sending photos of things i like to the people i care about or things that remind me of them. i think another way i show love is through sharing songs/making playlists lol

also, what are some tv shows or movies that you like?

I'm truly a lover girl and have a lot of love languages when it comes to people I love! Omg quality time is one of mine too, other one is physical touch tho I don't get to practice it too often since most of the people I am with aren't into it as much 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not too big into movies since I have to watch them alone and can't keep my full attention on them unless I have someone to comment on it with, but I do love me tv shows!!! I have a lot I could recommend but I'll only list 5 that I've watched last and loved; Abbott elementary(comedy, kinda like office), Blue lights(Ireland based crime show), High country(Australian based crime show), Gilded age(period drama) and Bridgerton(don't think this one needs any explanation hahah)
