                   born april 23rd, 1990,  in suwon,  gyeonggi,  south korea to a single mother,  yoon seolhwa had to fight tooth and nail for mere recognition.  not knowing her father for the first fourteen years of her life,  as well as losing her mother to a heart disease,  she’s suddenly whisked into a new life with a new stepmother and siblings in 2009.  the sudden change led her to become reclusive no matter what her father tried to do,  ultimately leading him to give up on integrating her into the new family he had created.  and that’s when the abuse started.

behind yoon gohyun’s back,  min dahye dropped the doting wife act and emotionally abused seolhwa for years,  filling her head with false narratives and a limited sense of security.  constantly picking at her for her looks,  weight,  and mannerisms under the guise of ‘motherly advice’.  following in their mother’s footsteps,  dayhe’s daughters would gang up against her,  from making her sleep on the floor in their shared rooms during cold winters to seolhwa learning how to cover up bruises with stolen concealer.  seolhwa would plead with her father out of earshot to let her move in with her mother’s relatives,  that she didn’t feel safe in the new home he’d brought her to,  but he would decline each time.  it’s not until one of the stepchildren slipped up and spilled their wrongdoings did her father realize what was going on,  but by the time he’d tried to interfere,  seolhwa was already old enough to legally emancipate.  guilt ridden,  her father would agree,  and she would cut ties with him and move in with her mother’s family at nineteen.

moving to now live with her maternal grandmother and aunt,  her education would be at the forefront of her mind,  throwing herself into university in order not to dwell on her childhood.  climbing viciously in the ranks,  she graduates the top of her year in 2013 at the seoul national university,  majoring in finance and minoring in business law.  and without a moment to catch her breath,  she would land a job working for a powerful company as their financial advisor.  In 2015,  she’s moved to the company’s legal team,  offering advice for cases against its competitors and establishing herself as a titan in her respective field early on.  coincidentally,  that’s the same year klaudia fontaine’s case against blitz inc. hits the news,  sparking her interest.

quitting her job – a move that would surprise both her,  her family,  and her previous company – seolhwa would offer her services behind the scenes,  a move she herself had not predicted.  looking back on the sudden move,  she’d say,  ‘i saw myself in her,  i suppose.  someone fighting to be treated like they meant something.’  refusing to be paid for the help she’d given,  she would re-connect with klaudia a few months after the legal battle and accept the position as aura’s financial advisor,  overseeing the label’s financial ventures.  later,  with the merging of aura with jyp entertainment,  she would be promoted to chief financial officer in 2020.

yoon seolhwa is described as an immovable force to most,  an enigma to few,  and one of the few people klaudia trusts with her life. the two are noted to have a very close friendship.  seolhwa is harsh in the name of yielding strong results,  often leading her to be someone who is perceived to value the product rather than the people behind it.  her circle is very small,  and that’s the way she prefers it.

Hmm~ would you be able to do enemies to lovers with Candace and a male reader? The reader is initially one of the people who causes trouble for the village, and Candace keeps having to fight him off,but he keeps coming back to fight her and he ends up getting attached to her. Eventually when he comes back to fight her one dayhe stumbles upon her fighting off a gang of eremites and he ends up helping her since in his mind he's the only one who's allowed to cause trouble for Candace unknowingly shouting that out loud for everyone to hear. After they defeat them she questions him on what he just said and why he keeps coming back to fight her all the time and this leads to him trying to come up with excuses and while he's rambling he accidentally reveals that he's fallen in love with her.

A bit different, but with all the core elements still included. Enjoy!
