Just two flat coloured refs of my DCA x Alton Tower ocs. Marmarliser and Nemesis, these are redraws and practically used for Art Fight this year. It was first time participating and somewhat enjoyed it! Nothing crazy thought to just dump them here. Marmarliser's old ref is on my account though Nemmys I never shared.

Unit: SMILERBOT_04

Codename: GIGGLER

Designation: Latch

Basic Information:

• One of the most unstable units under the jurisdiction of the ministry. Exercise extreme caution when interacting with this unit.

• Not to be let out into the public during the day. This unit poses a huge risk of exposure of the operation. Supervision through surveillance cameras is required.

• Unit 04, not to be confused with the previously decommissioned Unit 0.5 (Designation: Acquiesce), was the fourth unit created to assist in the Ministry’s operation.

• This bot is a very experimental case, meant to test the affects of the patented Laughing Gas created in the facility and inside of the Marmarliser. Because of its experimental design, it requires frequent maintenance to ensure its structural integrity remains sound. (At least twice a week)

Functionality and Features:

• Unit 04, as stated before, is meant to test the affects of the laughing gas created by the Ministry. It is equipped with a generator that attaches to its back, and can be removed when needed. The generator is cumbersome and causes its movements to be mildly hindered, but is necessary for its primary function.

• Unit 04 has gauntlets attached to its arms which may also be removed. They are not required for it to function, but they are a necessity, and assist it in its purpose. The generator on its back is connected to these gauntlets, allowing an easy flow of gas into them to later be released into a room. Meant to dull the senses and continue the correction process on escaped advocates, making them easier to capture.

• 04 is slow moving and often acts aloof, most often under the influence of the Laughing Gas. However, don’t let this fool you. Unit 04 is incredibly intelligent, and has an adaptive ai. It understands its handicap regarding its need for the gas, and knows how to use it to its advantage.

Safety & Maintenance Information:

• Unit 04 is relatively easy to reason with in the state it’s in with its mask on. They’re slow in speaking and in mind in this state, easy to get along with and coerce into performing simple actions and tasks. In this state, it’s “cool with just about anyone”. It does have its favorites and least favorites when it comes to employees though. Keep this in mind.

• Deactivating the unit is also suggested, but maintenance is easier when cooperation is incorporated.

• Start with its gauntlets. They’re easily removable, twist the valves of the pipes off and remove them carefully. Clean the inside and the pipes before reattaching them, be sure the dial on the pressurizer is in the middle of the numbers.

• Check its joints, the seams of its casing and its bolts that hold parts of its body together. If not properly checked, gas may leak through these seams and cause unnecessary damage.

• Carefully clean the back of its head and its rays, make sure they aren’t stiff and turn smoothly.

• Regarding its maintenance of its upper body and head, pay very close attention.

• Do not remove Unit 04’s mask unless absolutely necessary. And if it is, quickly deactivate it before doing so. Unit 04 becomes increasingly more unstable without a constant flow of the laughing gas into its body, and begin acting aggressively. It will, at ANY MEANS necessary try to get it’s mask back, whether it is damaged, or has been simply taken away and hidden.

• If something were to happen that would cause its mask to be damaged or removed, remain calm, and promptly deactivate it. Be aware, however, that Unit 04 has been observed reactivating on its own when not provided with its mask. If the mask still has not been recovered, force may be required to stop it from destroying itself, and others. (a strong, electrical shock may suffice.)

• If none of these options are available or possible however, there is one more emergency option to choose from. Unit 0.5 has been observed behaving kindly toward Unit 04, and often is able to calm it when it’s in these states of withdrawal. If all else fails, bring Unit 0.5 into the maintenance room. This will (hopefully) make Unit 04 more agreeable, and additionally, Unit 0.5 agreeable.

• Keep in careful mind. Unit 0.5 is very cunning and of similar or greater intelligence of Unit 04. Just because they would be more agreeable does not mean they may not have malicious intent in mind. During this emergency plan, one must keep a close eye on them both.

• If all goes without issue, send Unit 04 back to It’s holding room until it is needed again. Keep careful eye on it and remember, if it’s mask is removed at any moment, return or repair it promptly, and make sure it has it attached to it’s face before it is reactivated and sent back.
