god i know right 😭 olivia is at an impressionable age, and she clearly still cares about mikaela a LOT despite how many years it’s been. so i don’t think it’s too late!! (but we'll have to wait until after halloween to find out, i don’t want to miss this holiday lol)

ooh you’re right, that’s a good idea!! i don’t know if it’ll come up in conversation naturally, but i’ll try it out! i actually took a few pictures of karen meeting mikaela already -- mikaela was super pregnant, and was praying in the church that karen goes to AA meetings at. she overheard what mikaela was saying (about how she doesn’t know where to go or what to do) and karen was like “you’re coming home with me, no objections” lmao. i’ll try to work it into the story if it fits, but otherwise it’s all good!

yeah i have such a hard time trying to connect the times between each life stage. like the ages of 4 - 6 don’t fit with toddlers or kids. then there’s preteens obviously (although tbh i don’t trust this community to handle preteens anymore). it’s just hard to bridge the gaps :/ i can’t blame EA though, because this was never a problem for me when i just did gameplay, and obviously the sims wasn’t created for storytelling like i do lmao so i get why they did it the way they did

i can’t spoil anything yet!! but you know how much i advocate for redemption instead of writing people off, especially people as young as olivia. i hope the flashbacks will show you a different side of her, and you’ll finally get to meet their mom and see what she’s like!
