It’s Day 246 of the Windy Wessagusset Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the NE at 6mph with gusts at 8mph at 11am. The temperature was 70°, and felt like it was 65°. I used the Dark Orchid color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the wind was out of the NE. I worked my knitting in garter stitch since the wind was blowing at 6mph. It was a quiet day for us in Wessagusset. It was a sunny day, but the breeze was noticeable off the water, and a bit chilly late in the day. We live on the Fire River, which actually hits Boston Harbor a bit north of us, and Hingham to the west, with Quincy (under the City of Boston photo), and Peddocks Island (one of the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park in the boat photo) straight ahead in my photos. It is an awesome place to be with great views every day. Be safe out there.

It’s Day 246 of the Great Hill Humidity and Dew Point Differential Scarf 2023. The humidity was 45%, the dew point was 62°, and the differential between the humidity and the dew point was -17 today. I am using the Pumpkin color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn. I am working my stitches in the “garter stitch”pattern to indicate the differential between the humidity and the dew point was -17 at 2 pm. Today we went to Plymouth Quarry after closing time to look at their outside displays. We are looking for stone facades for our front porch which will be refurbished by our masonry contractor who is doing all of our exterior stair work, front and back. I can’t wait to get it completed before the cold weather arrives. I think we have some good choices, three of them to be exact, so we should be all set. It only took about four hours. Lol. Be safe out there!
