And like, my biggest problem is (besides the fact that he did it purposely to spite gay fans), it doesn't even make sense? He wears the jacket all the time in the solo, and Poe's in near death experiences all the time. Does Soule think we are really going to buy the idea that he "hates" the jacket because it almost killed him? Finn and Rey didn't even believe half of the story he was telling. So while I'm still holding out for it to be a lie apart of the long arc, it just seems so messy.

The Poe Dameron I know, the Poe Dameron that Charles Soule writes himself, while he can be sarcastic, would not say something that nasty to Finn. They were hanging out, all three of them, and then he proceeds to shit on him, and not in the way friends do. He purposely takes an object important to their friendship and lessens its emotional value! Poe has never said something like that to Snap, Jess, or Suralinda. So why start with Finn?
