One endlessly good man who is still just a man being made into a legend he didn’t want as a side product of attempting to do the right thing (and pulling it off by sheer luck and an overabundance of balls) in order to be used for propaganda by people who always have something to gain from him and then being attacked for that same legend by those same people because it was meant to be an easily manipulated myth. It wasn’t meant to be a prophecy, it wasn’t meant to be true. All the butterfly story really is is just that, a story. That’s not how the world actually works and nobody can be that good anyway, right - but if somehow this one nobody man really is just naturally that good despite the way of the world around him, what does that mean for them? What does looking in that mirror make them? What light does his presence cast them in but an ugly shadow? So they try to tear him down to prove that he’s just a man and he is - he meddles and oversteps and fumbles his way through the shadowy workings of politics like a blind man, letting his faith in the good of people get in the way of good judgement - but he’s the kind of man that keeps choosing to be good and true over and over despite his doubts, despite what the world throws at him, that in doing so he inevitably inspires the people around him to do the same.

This is for an art showcase. My church is hosting on August 25! So these art pieces are supposed to be in a Western style about our 40-week series "THE GOOD BOOK" SOOO i decided to do week 12 "The Good Shepard" Psalm 23

I decided to draw David when he was a young shepard boy. I like to think that when David was a shepard boy and the greatest king, it was an example of how God is and how he takes care of us and leads us like how a shepard would lead his sheep. If that makes sense-

Soo yeah! David is my second favorite historical person to look back on and read (not his sins. What he did was pretty bad💀) but he is known to be the greatest king alive.

Mr. Shepherd: So when this government talks about better allocated resources to support the front lines, I do have to wonder, Madam Speaker, if she’s referring to the $75 million they spent on children’s Tylenol, that has been neither effective, most of which will never arrive, and most of which will never be used. Was that effective allocation of our health care resources, that could have been going to support front-line health care workers?

Or how about the millions of dollars that we have lost on the DynaLife fiasco, this government’s decision that it needed to upend and uproot the entire community lab service and system, which was operating well? The minister spoke at length about not changing systems that are working. This government, Madam Speaker, as they oppose a sensible amendment in this private member’s bill, upended the entirety of the community lab system at an unknown level of cost. We are grateful that the Auditor General is currently doing a full investigation into that so that we will have that number for Albertans so they can understand just how many resources this government wasted and failed to allocate to the front lines even as it contemplates, now indeed is moving towards another significant disruption of the entirety of the health care system, which I can assure you is going to further exhaust and burn out our front-line health care workers.

And speaking of redundancies, Madam Speaker, how many new health boards is this government going to create, how much more bureaucracy in the name of political ideology over supporting front-line health care workers?

My atheist ass loved this show so much. It was so well done. Actual commentary about both the Bible and modern day life.

I guess it required too much thought of the audience. Especially Jack and his father. The fact that he was gay was never treated as anything the king felt made Jack bad or dirty or less. He didn’t even care that Jack was sexually active with men. Combine that with “you have to produce an heir and the nation is in fact more important than you.”

Mr. Shepherd: Mr. Speaker, this Premier excels at catering to her far-right supporters. On Saturday she announced her support for an antivaccine town hall being hosted by the Member for Calgary-Lougheed. It’s filled with discredited speakers making ludicrous claims against the safety and proven of the COVID-19 vaccine for children. In the words of Dr. Lorian Hardcastle, these aren’t Canada’s leading experts on this topic; these are people who have adopted a particular ideological view and are going to tell the audience what they want to hear. How can the Premier continue to support a town hall that misrepresents facts and risks the safety of Albertans by spreading antivaccine rhetoric?

Member LaGrange: In fact, the COVID vaccine has been available for children since August of 2022. Nothing has changed. It is not mandatory, and parents do have the choice to decide what is right for their family. This event is happening. It’s a constituency association event, and the government is not part of this event.
