i will start by saying that i respect everyone's decision to either continue watching skam or not to i just have some things i have to say

please do not be rude to the people who are excited about the show getting renewed. you’re allowed to not want to watch it as much as they are allowed to want to watch it.

please try to be happy that the show you love is getting love and that now more people will likely find out about skam as a whole.

please try to be happy for the actors (especially flavie) and crew who are also getting recognition for their hard word. i could imagine how proud they would be that a show they work hard on is loved by many. 

i understand if you choose not to watch it because its different characters and so you do not have a connection to them, it’s the same as when characters leave shows such as greys anatomy and people decide to stop watching while others have only seen newer seasons. 

also people who are going to continue to watch and are happy about the renewal please be nice to the people who decide not to.

i don’t know what my end goal in this is other than please everyone be understanding of others decisions to either watch or not and remember that the actors could easily see everyone's reactions to this.

So hear me out ...

I know it's only the third week, but I already have a theory on how things are going to go down for Lola. Let me explain :

1- Tiff will find out why Lola was interned. Thanks to a video, a photo, a document, whatever. She will use that and take the opportunity to display Lola and her old problems throughout the school and on networks. Lola will probably go rampage and fight with Tiff. There will be a complaint from Tiff's parents and Lola may be temporarily or permanently excluded. At the same time we may finally find out who Benny.taxi is.

2- Maya (she and Lola may already have started dating I hope 🙏🏾) will be aware of Lola's story and will be angry with her, because I remind you that Lola Lola didn't told her about her addictions , and she will blame Lola for it.

3- To add to the drama, ⚠��� attention lil' spoiler for those who didn't follow the SkamFr news on Twitter or Insta before the beginning of the season⚠️ "LA" scene between Lola and Eliott will probably have taken place a few days before and Lucas will know about it and take it very badly. Result, Lucas and the rest of the Crew-Gang will be very angry with Lola.

Consequences: Lola will find herself alone, with all the people she thought were trustworthy who now resent her. It will bring back her bad habits and addictions (alcohol, drugs probably, isolation, violence, suicidal thoughts, etc.)

The person who will find the words to help Lola, I don't know yet. I'm torn between Eliott, Arthur maybe (who also had problems with drugs etc). Or maybe Jo eh idk we can be surprised. And a return of the nurse too 😂 way of wisdom.

It was super long but this is my theory of what could happen. We'll see in a few weeks if I was right 😄

I wish ppl would stop projecting their feelings onto the actors. It happened last season with Noee’s actress when she spoke on camera that lead to a huge backlash on the production team and Winona had to speak up and explain herself. I know a lot of fans have very little respect for David and co but they are not monsters. We can hope Flavie and Ayumi felt safe and confortable but it’d be great if people didn’t start discourse and speculations based on their own feelings and not the actresses.

i'm gonna be honest here.

i think david & co don't handle fan response particularly well sometimes. i think their reactions can come off as impulsive, rushed and poorly thought through. i think their writing isn't impeccable, sometimes, and depending on the season we're analyzing, i'd go as far as saying most of the time.

those complaints? i can understand and respect.

what i'm NOT gonna tolerate here, is watching people call them abusive predators who creep on their actors, becuase never, and i mean fucking never, anyone in the cast has expressed anything near discomfort in regards of their working environment. i would really fucking like to understand where this disgusting discourse came from, because the cast has never even hinted at anything remotely close.

is it because your representation of a man figure in your lives is so toxic that you can't comprehend the cast's adoration towards david without thinking he must've lured them into it? manipulated their minds so they all love him? if so, i'm sorry you think david won the cast's affection through manipulation. i'm sorry that the thought of a man being respectful of their workers sounds like such a foreign concept that you immediately call bullshit. but it's not fair on david & co, and you should stop doing it, because as you said, anon, that's 100% projecting.
