i think the most disappointing thing about season 3 is what many people said that it is was mainly just a setup for season 4, which felt like the writers wrote themselves into a corner, said ‘oh wait! exploring this would be cool!’ came up with substantial content for a season 4 that completely contradicted what season 2 had ended on and were forced to fill in the blanks from there
