Hi again! I’m blue_ines on Ao3, and this is a fic I recently finished reading. It’s a full PJO rewriting from Annabeth’s PoV. The writing is really good, I recommend it to PJO fans! For those who want to read Annabeth's version of the first five PJO books I reccomend the series called Daughter Of Wisdom on AO3 for anyone who is curious. It's the books from Annabeth's perspective which instills the lessons of the original deeper and it's a canon divergence with its own plots and subplots. its a lot more serious than the sarcastic nature of RR's style but suits Annabeth and let's us understand her thinking process. It's a must read which will get you hooked to every single word and leave you wanting more.

The romance is more mature and more like a constant companion rather than the teenage-ish flutters we get from the series. My favourite was definitely Necklace of Harmonia which was the Annabeth's pov take on TTC which not only gave more insight to Annabeth's problems with her dad,(because the actual books made me hate him for a good period because there was no explanation or technicaltion except him saving her once and her running back to him. Mainly because it's from Percy's pov), so this series helped me understand Annabeth as a more rounded character which was amazing. But albeit not canon. It was well enough to be considered canon. The Final Sacrifice (TLO spin-off) made me feel so proud of Annabeth, so proud of myself, it was am aazing, gut-wrenching and filled with tears of joy, sadness, relief and emotions I can't even fathom to explain.

My favourite line: "Do you know what happens when a pawn reaches the other end of the board? I sent a pawn, but she became a queen. You are my secret weapon." -Athena to Annabeth at the end of The Final Sacrifice.

Just read your Son of Neptune and it is magnificent. The description, imagery and prose it matches New Rome vibes so well and Percy is hopeful, curious and defiant as always.

BTW may I suggest a story to you? It's Daughter of Wisdom by shiiki. It's Annabeth's version of PJO and it's brilliant beyond belief. Honestly it's canon for me now. I am sure you will love it.

Thank you!! And I love this question! There are a ton of great fic writers out there.  Here are some of my personal favorites:

shiiki—all her stories are awesome, but her Daughter of Wisdom series is excellent—it’s a complete retelling of the original PJO books from Annabeth’s POV and they seriously read like canon.  Would be a worthwhile binge-read during quarantine : )

annabeth-in-olympus—again, great stories in general, and I think she writes some of the best college-age Percy and Annabeth that I’ve read.  I’ve seriously read her story “It’s Just Architecture” more than once because it’s just that good.

Darkmagyk’s “Any Lengths” is an adorable college-age Percabeth story and “Honey, if you Stay” is a great post-BoO story about Nico adjusting to camp.

bananannabeth has a bunch of good PJO fics.  “Not So Shore” might be my favorite “mortals meet Percabeth” story.  Another one in particular that I really liked is “Stupid” just because it went in a surprising direction that I haven’t seen addressed much in fics.

HecateA also has a ton of fics and there are some really good ones.  “Honey, Let me Sing You a Song” is particularly fluffy and fun.

I’m not usually a big AU reader but one I really liked is just titled “AU” by AnotherFacelessAuthor. It’s great because I feel like the characterization is spot on and it manages to also bring something new to canon as well.

AnnabethLuna’s story “Witnesses” is so much fun because it’s told from the POVs of characters who happened to be standing around during key Percabeth moments (small spoiler alert: like Michael Yew on the Williamsburg Bridge when Percy asks Annabeth for a good luck kiss).  Her story “Aftermath” which covers Percy and Annabeth’s POVs during BoO is also excellent.

“On Heists and Home Economics” by chellethewriter is a really good story set at CHB towards the end of Percy’s senior year that involves the Stolls stealing stuff and Annabeth having to make plans to help her boyfriend out of a problem.

Also, Word_Addict’s “The Peculiar Disappearance of Percy Jackson” and “The Mysterious Vanishing of the Grace Siblings” are ridiculously entertaining.

So those are some of my top favorite PJO fic recommendations (and I’m sure there are some awesome ones that I’m forgetting to add right now).  Hopefully all the links work correctly.  You can definitely check out my Favorites list on FanFiction and my Bookmarks on Ao3 for more suggestions, too.

I’m only on Sea of Monsters from this author but the Annabeth charatization is spot on and it doesn’t just rephrase what happened in the organial books, it makes the story Annabeth’s.
