Project Thunder: Renata
We start with Tulip and Alice (mostly Tulip since she's the one with the weapon and Alice is a cell phone) dealing with a massive swarm of Twilight who are close to totaling the Van. They're about ready to accept their fate when the sound of a powerful engine roars, a heavy wind whips up, and spotlights hit the battlefield directly on top of Tulip, which actually causes the Twilight to back off a bit. As a large shape (obscured since Tulip would have to look directly into the spotlight to see it) descends, two voices call out over a loudspeaker;
"Prepare for trouble!"
"And make it double!"
Yep. The first ones to find her were Team Rocket. They're using a cargo plane that's been fitted with hover jets and painted to look like a Pelipper, and once their motto's done their full teams descend upon the horde, kicking ass and taking names, assisted by weapons that were also fitted to the plane and Tulip once she recovers, who is completely perplexed by this situation but not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Also, we find out during the action sequence that Road Rage (Tulip's Keyblade) can Formchange into an actual fully functioning motorcycle. That can still cast magic. And will be able to drive up and along walls once Sora has a chance to teach her Flowmotion.
Once the enemies have been cleared out enough for the plant to land, the group (and the Van) moves inside and makes a clean getaway. Yes the plane is big enough to carry around a whole RV. After they take off again and start heading towards the nearest group from the rest of the rescue party, Tulip is reintroduced to Team Rocket, who can explain the full situation better than Alice was able to since unlike her they were around during the buildup and got their own explanation from Ash when he recruited them.
Good news, between what Alice has told her and Pokemon apparently being real now Tulip decides to believe them for now. Bad news, they forgot to grab some of the supercharged Memes when the groups split up so they can't cure her until they get to their destination. They eventually reach Laharl, who's just finishing up slaying one of Renata's Bosses alongside FM, X and Minion, and is very excited when she sees that Tulip is okay... and a bit pissed about Team Rocket's stupid mistake. Tulip seeing this crazy (and admittedly pretty cute) girl in a trademarked Styx Apparel jacket when Tulip (as far as she knows) hasn't actually had a chance to do anything with said trademark what with living on the road both before and after the Twilight so there can't possibly be any bootlegs gets rid of the few doubts she still had.
And when she actually takes the meme, she pulls Laharl into a model-crushing hug because she knew her memories were real she knew it she knew it she knew it! (...yeah she's probably gonna need some therapy after this) Also once she's done with that she notices her redesign with newly Memed eyes and, rather than having an issue with it like the others, decides that she looks good, her new hairstyle in particular.
Anyway, the crews in Renata are Laharl's (except for Flonne, who's using her giant mech in the code-level battle alongside the Squirle Squad), Ash's, Sora's, Shantae's, Olimar's, and Frida's, along with a few characters from other Alliance universes. 7 and 10 aren't there because 7 is still in the hospital. They've been hunting the Bosses and searching for Tulip, and by the point where Tulip comes in they're mostly done. They just need to deal with the last remaining boss, a massive, corrupted semi truck with way too many trailers that wanders the map in a winding loop like a demented train. Everybody meets up to deal with it, and that's where the section rather awkwardly ends since the rest of what happens is an action setpiece.
...Actually that's not quite accurate. There is one important thing that happens during that fight, which is that at one point Tulip nearly fucking dies and Alice somehow becomes a Porygon to save her. no idea how that works but there it is.

As you can probably imagine, after she gets her keyblade Tulip is lowkey wondering if she's finally gone crazy.
Good news: She happens to now be traveling with an expert on Crazy!
Bad news: Alice doesn't seem to realize that "You're just as sane as I am" doesn't actually sound particularly reassuring, especially when it's coming from a voice in Tulip's phone that's apparently a magically digitized journal entry about an alternate video game version of an early 50s children's movie adaptation of her favorite literary character. And is something that somebody back in Wonderland (most likely the cat...) would probably (and did probably) say to her if she asked if she was going mad.
Oh boy, everyone's going through it right how.. but.. at least Tulip's got a friend now?

i have no problem with (fictional) vindictive, ruthless women ready to sacrifice their children for their own good or for their own desires, but i have problem with character inconsistencies.
alicent hightower cannot simultaneously be someone who maims a crown princess to defend her child, in the princess' stronghold, surrounded by people that want her dead and gone, and also be someone who just gives up a child like a lamb to slaughter and calls it freeing when she is said child's source of literally 99% problems.

they most likely started dating in uni. they'd been dating for years. Alice has been working at the OIAR for almost a decade. what if their breakup was literally just "we never get to see each other anymore because of your job, I miss you" "I'm sorry I can't quit this job" "I understand. But then maybe we should see other people, since our lifestyles are too incompatible" ".... okay" what if it was just that.
which would perhaps make it hurt Worse for Alice (if she Does still have feelings for him) that now that he Does work the same hours as her, that he's.... going after someone else.

Star Trek First Contact was released on November 22, 1996. It was the second Star Trek film to feature the crew of The Next Generation and was directed by TNG actor Jonathan Frakes. It is reported to be one of the favorites of the TNG actors and of the TNG ST films, a fan favorite. It was the highest grossing Star Trek film until 2009. Fan favorite villians the Borg were brought back. The Borg traveled back in time to prevent the first warp drive trip and the Earth's first contact with Vulcans on April 5, 2374 (a date chosen as it was the birthday of screenwriter Ronald D Moore's son). The USS Enterprise traveled back to April 4, 2374 to make sure history stayed on track. Geordi (LeVar Burton) finally got optical implants and was able to get rid of his visor. The higher budget also allowed the film makers to better realize the Borg. Robert Picardo from Star Trek Voyager made a cameo as Emergency Medical Hologram. The character of Zefram Cochrane, who made the historic flight, first appeared in the Star Trek TOS episode "Metamorphosis" (1967) and was played by Glenn Corbett. In this version, Cochrane was played by James Cromwell. ("Star Trek: First Contact", Movie Event)

For @entropyking Part 2! One for the price of two, sorry ;D
Jukebox Writing Game
Twenty Four - Hi I'm Case
It’s not something I can control
Living in the moment keeps my sights off of before
'cause I couldn’t need much more
Alice's face frowns back at her from the mirror in her bathroom. Water drips down the line of her jaw.
Five years ago, she escaped.
She's not pleased that she's still afraid. A smoke detector, a camera, a gun. She fills her walls with metal and wire, fortifying fear. Call and response.
Alice is under seige. They must have done something to her brain, because the connections are all wrong.
If I count every screw in this drawer, my gun won't misfire tomorrow.
If I take this apart three times without making a mistake, Ellie won't break down tonight.
If I find every power source in my house and deactivate them, they won't find me.
If I build myself a faraday cage, they won't find me.
If I stay away from the house for a week, they won't find me.
There's no one to ask for help. Not that Alice ever learned how. She's young, but older than she's ever been. She knows better than she ever did, and it's not enough.
Alice works and works and works. If I don't sleep tonight. If I build a better gun.
It's prayer. It's ritual. She can't break it or else. Good enough is good enough.
She stands outside and smokes, red glow over dark street. If I keep watch for an hour. Snow melts on her bare shoulders.
Alice builds everything she trusts. She needs to hold every piece, something small and shining. She feels like she's wading through an ocean, endless, dark. But she isn't. So it doesn't matter.
Five years ago, Alice built a bomb.
In the time since, she's been working on the rest of a life. Thing is, she doesn't know the components for it.
Four wheels. Four walls. Wrench, driver, wire, spark. Packed C4. Light and heat.
She's lucky. Real lucky.
It would be easier if she wasn't.

A couple things about the aftermath of Project Thunder:
-The CCC had to replace Juliano and the retaken worlds with backup data to keep Connected Cosmos functional. This means the Rising Star Circus crew now has a non-living npc version of Juliano to deal with on top of coping with the fact that they're trapped here.
-While the memories of the stolen worlds' inhabitants were restored and the Twilight purged, the worlds themselves weren't restored to their original state. So they still need to repair the damage and deal with the three-ish month timeskip that CC:TG's lore caused.
-Said timeskip means that Tulip is now 18. She doesn't know how to feel about that.
-SMG7 is, in fact, now paralyzed from the waist down. As soon as Tulip finds out about this she immediately starts building her the most kickass wheelchair possible (which considering her skills will be pretty damn kickass), and making the Van and the mansion (the latter of which needed work anyway between Reboot Saiko's attack and the Twilight apocalypse) wheelchair accessible. 7's actually pretty excited about it, though she's made it very clear that that's as far as Tulip's help should go. She's specifically banned whatever cybernetics Tulip might be thinking of.
Look, don't get her wrong. She loves Tulip. She trusts Tulip. But nobody besides Tulip will know how to install the robo-spine-whatever and she is not letting a teenage insomniac mad scientist with 4 IQ and no medical license operate on her no matter how cool the inevitable superpowers would be.
-Ash manages to get a dedicated projector for Alice (her body is technically a hologram, and Tulip's phone both can't actually project holograms (which makes her less durable) and probably isn't sturdy enough to withstand hits strong enough to knock Alice out. Said projector is a little blue pin shaped like a cat head that Tulip sticks onto her jacket when Alice isn't using it.
-Thankfully there aren't any custody issues over Tama. She'll still be living in Luminos Castle with her new family and Blotch will still be living with Overseer, just now that she knows where Tama is (and that she's alive) she'll be visiting a lot. She's not calling Nimbus "mom" though. Among other reasons they're too close in age for it to not be weird.
-Due to everything that happened, Renata and Sleeping Gaia are now well aware of the Digital Multiverse, and given that they found out in pretty much the worst, most confusing way possible everyone's got a lot of explaining to do.
-Mira now knows about her true origins and is having an existential crisis. To make matters worse, while they were able to purge the Twilit Corruption from her the ordeal activated the long-dormant data of the Werehog transformation, so she now has to deal with that every night.
-Steve, Welony and Bob are working on a new scarecrow body for Rob.
-CPU looks upon this absolute trainwreck and decides that all of them (or at least as many as logistically possible), need a fucking vacation. And fortunately, while it'll take a couple weeks to get things set up, there's a certain resort-owning Admin who owes him and Vitality several favors.
-Speaking of Vitality, she's still in a coma. Though when Kelsie checks on her (after dealing with all the wounded from the battle, of course. Swag makes for a lousy patient, especially when he's told he won't get to keep his crazy god powers) she notes that her recovery has accelerated slightly.
