So I’ve never attempted the Pit of 100 Trials in TTYD (I HAVE done it and beat it in SPM tho to get Dashell lol) and I just. Decided to go for it. And I beat it first try. Flurrie Lip Lock + Power Lift special is the GOAT

Wait, Shadoo is also a Pixl? How many characters are secretly Pixls?

For Shadoo, I have actual basis: one of the theories about the Pixl Queen is that it’s actually Shadoo. Jester turning out to be a Pixl is more of a nod to the theory that Dimentio is the Pixl Queen’s brother.

And the only one who’s also secretly a Pixl is Barry, who would appear “in-game” wearing a cloak as a disguise at first because he’s scared of the Lizard/Francis. He would be the only optional Pixl in the “base game”, but the other optional Pixls in SPM would be DLC: 

Dashell, you reward for going through a mini-dungeon in the sewers. In the “base game”, they would follow you and assist around in the dungeon, but that’s it.

Piccolo, who you would have to go through a extended fetch quest to get him. His power is elevated to being able to lift all ailments and automatic healing.

Tiptron, who you get if you go back to World 3 and talk to the Lizard, who offers her to you as an attempt to make amends for stalking you.

(You obtain Shadoo through similar means to Dashell: if you come back to the depth of the woods where she’s found the first time after beating her and you have the DLC, she’ll think you want to actually get to know her and joins you),

Beside that, other DLC Pixls ideas I have: 

Four Pixls based on SPM’s actual protagonists (I know Bowser’s would create a jet of fire and Luigi’s would allow you to jump really high, Peach’s would probably allow you to float, but I’m not sure for Mario’s).

One called Jojo that grants you super strength, allowing bypassing of puzzles and a reliable way to fight enemies

Two Pixls based on Galeem and Dharkon who are always bickering, yet act as a pair and refuse to be separated. They would grant you a short period of complete invincibility.

Kirby, I just fucking put in Kirby because I have no self-control-

While I’m at it, here are Shadoo and Dimentio abilities: Shadoo wraps you in shadow and makes you look like a monster, allowing you to bypass enemies-filled areas with no danger. Dimentio allows you to stay in the Fourth Dimension (equivalent of “going 3D”) indefinitely.

Laddie: “ACK! It feels too weird being upside down!”

Laddie experiencing opposite gravity for the first time. As you can see, he’s not really used to being upside down, which he thinks feels a bit “awkward“ for him.

A little bit more about Laddie is that he’s rather excitable and is quite sporty like Dashell. He’s also Orbia’s love interest and best friend. He even owns special 3D goggles that have a cool ability when put on (Based on his ability from beta SPM, which was basically the 3D-flipping ability Mario has).

Man, your spm "let's play" is freaking hilarious. It's an experiment on who you can force to take a much needed nap, spm memes and discovery via challenges! I hope your entire play through was fun and fulfilling!

It was quite fun, and stress relieving too when I played after a hard week at school.It all went by pretty quickly thanks to Dashell, but it was all in good clean wholesome fun.I may even try to do the whole “Sleepy Sheep Run” with Paper Mario TTYD, since that’s a fan favorite and I successfully beat it for the first time about a year ago.

wait there are 12 stabbies (that I count) and 12 original pixls in spm.

buuuuuut 1 of the 12 pixls is dead so maybe Pearl can take that legendary pixl or something.

spm 100% speedruns are so long

imagine waking up and being like "yeah. today I'm gonna spend TWELVE HOURS 100%ing this game"

my casual 100% file (that isn't 100%ed yet, but is very close) is over 40 hours long.

spm is a long game, both in story and in "post game" activities. I say post game because you can do almost everything before beating the final boss.

stuff like the pits of 100 trials/Dashell, Piccolo, recipes, cards, and maps can be done during main game

I think the only two things that are impossible before the final boss are getting Tiptron and beating Sammer's Kingdom, because beating the final boss makes you lose Tippi (and triggers Francis to build Tiptron? I believe anyway), and restores Sammer's Kingdom.

also I think some maps earn villain cards and might be in Castle Bleck (the final chapter) but it shouldn't be required to *beat* the final boss to get.

As a kid I was never able to beat the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials because it was way too hard but I FINALLY DID IT. MY CHILDHOOD DREAM, AT LAST ACHIEVED

Things I should probably do in SPM

•Fight Shadoo the fucker deserves a date with my fists •Replay the game, but record freezing, stop watching, or putting members of Team Bleck to sleep. I’m not gonna give up on making Dimentio sleep! I swear it’s suppose to work! •Obtain Dashel before completing the main story and figure out how far the World of Nothing goes. •Get all of the catch cards. •Spend more time in the room full of Dimentios because it’s my element •Check to see if Super Dimentio actually summons tiny Pill Pal Luigis at you when you use invincibility items •Pick up and cherish the Dimentio. •Actually, just pick up everyone. They all belong in these arms.
