Daisy wasn't stupid, though many believed it. Sure on the first night she had been too scared to think through what was going on. Yet as the deaths around her continued while she, Leon, and Jake lived, she started to catch on. She had pretended to sleep, not moving a single muscle when Leon left her in the cabin alone, until she was sure he wouldn't see her following behind him.
She had missed the first part of their conversation from where she knelt outside the cabin. She stayed just below a window, hoping she wouldn't be seen from the outside. The end of it had been crystal clear though. Her heart sank. Leon and Jake had been the killers. Her suspicions had come true. Any sensible person would have started running, get away as quickly as possible before Jake could get her. It was obvious he was willing to stop at nothing. She shifted, trying to lean up to look inside.
Though it nearly gets her caught, it gives her a view of Jake going after Leon. Even after everything she feels some sort of connection. She can't run and leave him. She can't let Jake win this. Daisy moved quickly and as quietly as she could to get into the cabin, the locks always being easy to pick. Yet once she's inside she realizes she barely has anything she can use as a weapon, aside from beating Jake with her bag.
"Get away from him," Daisy shouted like a banshee as she rushed towards Jake, shoving him and hoping that she'd give Leon enough time to lock in and help.
"Keep your fucking voice down!" The words are hissed between clenched teeth, dark orbs flickering towards the cabin door. The last thing either of them needed was someone overhearing their bloodcurdling conversation. "I told you from the beginning. I don't care what ridiculousness you want to indulge in, but you're not touching her." How many times had they been over this since the frenzy had begun? Too goddamn many. "She's with me, which means she's off-limits." But a haunting gleam in the depths of Jake's eyes told him this would be a problem. "You're blinded by an old high school crush! She's making you lose sight of the plan!" Jake spits, disgust dripping like fresh crimson in his tone.
"Don't be an idiot! I'm all in! I have been since the start!" Hell, other than the first night, Leon had done most of the slaughtering. "I'm just laying claim to this one thing and you have to fucking deal with it!" Was it envy? Jealousy of the girl that had recaptured his obsession? "She's blinding you and needs to be put down like the bitch she is!"
Fury instantly pulses through him, sending the male surging forward towards the other. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Palms slam roughly against the other's chest, sending him stumbling back. "I swear to God, Jake, if you say-" But his words are silenced when a sound catches his attention. "-Shut up!" He commands, head twisting to peer at the darkened windows that surround them. "I think someone is outsid-" But his thoughts are brought to an abrupt halt as a fist collides with his chin. // @bluejeanbaby

Why Winnie had decided that she wanted to bid in the bachelor auction, she couldn’t explain. And why she had bid on Smee’s kid, of all the people available, was even more baffling; she didn’t know Daisy themself all that well, but she knew that her tribe’s history with the pirates of Neverland wasn’t exactly harmonious by any means. Still, she’d bid and she’d won, and now she was hoping it would be cool to spend the day with them -- and if not, she’d bail; her money had gone to charity already, there was no obligation to see this through. Still, as she approached Daisy she tried to make the most of her temporary loss of sanity, joking, “So, you didn’t mean literal music was going to be made today, right? Because I did not pack my clarinet.”

"Hate you?" Daisy asked with a raised brow. She had to think about it for a moment before she shook her head. "Nah I don't think so. Your dad definitely, yeah, but not you." she decided. "You're just a little bitchy sometimes, but shit me too. That's how I got the job." she explained with a soft laugh as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Alright well we're allies now then, huh? Us against Jessica, what do you think?"
"Yeah, exactly," she sighed. Jude nodded her head, knowing that Daisy also stuck her neck out to make sure that the restaurant was successful - there was no need for the two youngest people here to be working as hard as they did, but she was at least grateful to know it wasn't just her that cared about making the place a success. Jude didn't fully know why her and Daisy had issues anyway, but she supposed it was what Jessica tried to do - pit others against each other. "I don't know... I kind of just thought you hated me so I... I hated you." She chuckled a bit, feeling a bit awkward about it now. "Do you? You know - hate me?"

Daisy let Jude go on for a moment, she had never really been one to interrupt. She could be a dick, sure, but she wasn't rude. "Well your dad is an idiot so that's not surprising. Honestly he'd be fucked without you. Well you and me." she offered a shrug as she leaned against the stainless steel counter. "Nah, it's okay. Sometimes you just have to talk, i mean I completely understand it. We don't have to like...hate each other or whatever Jessica wants." Daisy said, setting her purse on the counter as she looked around, making sure there was nothing really left to fix. "Why do we hate each other exactly? Are we both just assholes?" she asked with a soft laugh as she started to get get things ready to prep for the morning.
“it is the worst. it’s the absolute fucking worst. god damn, i feel my eye is going to be fucked up for a while,” she said dramatically, huffing. she dabbed at her face with the paper towel, going to lean back against the countertop for a moment. jude usually wouldn’t divulge too much information to others, but she was so upset she couldn’t help but rant. “i have been telling my dad for months to fire jessica, but he doesn’t want to take responsibility. i think they had an affair or some shit months ago and now he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings. maybe they still are together, i don’t know,” she wiped at her eyes. “i was here earlier to make sure things were okay and she walked out on me. didn’t even have enough sense to make sure there was enough employees on the schedule to clean up tonight. she’s fucking crazy,” she sighed, breathing out. “sorry, i’m sure you don’t want to know all that but i’m so exhausted.”
