Wonder whats the status of the new darwing series, I hope it is still in production and not cancelled, I watched the original darkwing duck because of "The Duck Knight Returns" and the og is so fun and goofy I love it, the dynmics of the charavters are brilliant I Iit made me realize how much of a sucker I am for fun dynamics, and the new dynamic with Drake, Launchpad, and Gosalyn are also fun so hoping hoping that its still gonna come

Ok sorry if this is a weird question. But what's changed the most in this au since you first started it?

Hi! It's not weird at all, I'm happy people are still interested in this AU ^-^

Many things changed through this one year and a half since I first started the Gen Swap AU, but if it's to choose the biggest one, I think it's the way I ended up breaking my prime rule for this AU.

You see, when I started this idea, I wanted to swap the Duck twins and the Duck triplets. Period. Everyone else would be the exact same.

But as I started expanding the story to hold the whole show, this rule simply didn't apply anymore.

Daisy and Violet were the first I noticed it and decided to swap too. Because I like Donsy, I like Daisy and I wanted more to have little Daisy interacting with little Donald than I wanted to keep Violet a child (there was no way to keep Violet a child too, it would be too many kids).

Then I thought about Boyd and... I love Boyd, I really do, but I didn't really want to work with what canon gave us about him. And the best way to avoid that to me was to make him an adult and give him and Gyro happier backstories.

And then we get to the biggest of the changes: The Disney Afternoon characters. When I first started this AU I knew nothing of anything about Darkwing Duck or Talespin, I hadn't even heard about these shows before. But because of DT, I watched them, and I fell in love with these characters.

I didn't even debate about swapping Drake and Gosalyn, it was something I wanted to do from the moment I watched the original DWD and was prepared to do even before Let's Get Dangerous aired. Launchpad, though, was already established as the McDucks's driver/pilot so he's the only character that stayed as in canon.

Talespin is a bit twisted to explain, because in the original Kit and Molly were already kids while Becky and Baloo were adults, and that how I'm going to use them in this AU, so can we really call this a swap? XD I don't know, but you understood my point, right? What I want to do with them.

These are the changes, though. I'm not swapping any other characters, this is it, everyone else's staying the same.

And I think this is it. Woah, this got longer than I expected lol I hope this is a good enough answer.

basically around three months after the whole movie studio fiasco, lp is dwd’s partner and drake is basically in an internship period on mcduck industries bc scrooge is testing the waters on having more people like gizmoduck

drake is like,,, hella salty about being fenton’s intern but doesnt say anything cause its a legit oportunity at a steady job that will hopefully not go up quite literally in flames
